We stopped in this store because they were located near our hotel. My husband and I were not exactly sure what we wanted. The cashier at the front counter Ayla was there with lots of knowledge and a great attitude with a smile on her face. I come from a long line of customer service so it it very hard to impress me and that's exactly what she did. This will be our permanent pizza hut from now on. I was having trouble with the app and the manager Tamara Dexter was just as willing to give her assistance with the same kind of attitude. PIZZA HUT HIGHER UPS NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO THIS STORE! These ladies are a PERFECT example of how things are supposed to be done!
This was the first time in over a year since we ordered here due to poor quality pizza. One Veggie pizza was fresh but, the other one was as hard as a rock with Zero flavor. This pizza had to of been sitting their for atleast 2 hr's or more. The pepperoni, sausage and bacon wasn't edible. We won't have to worry about this happening again!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to take a moment to recognize the exceptional service I received from Tamara at Pizza Hut. I came in last week and again today for the $2 personal pan pizza deal, and both times, despite the store being clearly busy, Tamara greeted every customer with a genuine smile and such a positive attitude. It’s rare these days to see someone who not only handles the rush with calm and efficiency but also takes the time to make each person feel seen and appreciated. She moved with urgency, answered questions kindly, and made sure everything was running smoothly even when the line started building up. You could tell she truly cares about the customer experience and takes pride in her work. On top of the excellent customer service, the pizza was fresh, hot, and exactly what I came for. It’s the kind of experience that makes you want to come back not just for the food, but because of how you’re treated. Tamara is a standout employee who deserves recognition and a raise. Pizza Hut is lucky to have someone like her representing the brand. Thank you, Tamara, for making a simple lunch run feel like a great experience both times!
Shout out to Orville and the other worker who absolutely SAVED our night. The store is closing soon but they still accepted my order because my dinner had burned in the oven and it’s been a very rough week with crappy and cold meals and all we craved was a good warm pizza. (Yes pizza is what burned in our oven) 😭 Absolute shout-out to him and his customer service because I know it’s awful having an order come in when you are about to close, but he and his coworker are lifesavers. I am beyond appreciative and though I wanted to get their venmo or cashapp to tip, he declined saying he would feel bad. This is the next best thing! Because they deserve to be recognized. 10/10 EVERYTHING.

My grandson (9 years old) requests to stop here for a quick personal pan pizza to go whenever we pass thru Gainesville. Its consistently good quality, prepared quickly. The staff is always friendly. The store front is clean and welcoming.
I'm a little confused about the financial workings of this store. I placed a delivery order, paid with debit card, was charged 2 separate amounts, reimbursed for one b4 I mentioned it. Manager said a lot of people ask about that. Are they living on interest from extra debits or something? J/S My delivery driver was polite and received a generous tip. A few days later I ordered again, which is when I brought up the previous issue. The manager on duty treated me with underhanded indignation, like I was beneath him for some reason, therefore the driver gets 5*s and the manager gets 1*, hence 3*s. Food was good, though.
They should be ashamed of themselves. I’m almost forty years old and have probably ordered pizza thousands of times in my life. This goes down as the most humiliating order I have ever received. The personal pan pizza and breadsticks were burnt with stale and hard cheese but the “breadsticks” were not even breadsticks. There are supposed to be ten of them and all I got were two huge squares of hard, burned cheese. Adding insult to injury is I was traveling, getting to a hotel late and hungry and because of this order I remained hungry. I wish so badly I had just ordered dominos or papa johns instead. I called Pizza Hut after this delivery to explain just how bad it was and they did nothing. I don’t know why the receipt has a spot for someone to “check” it if no one is going to. Please teach your employees that these meals that people order are people’s dinners meaning the people have to eat them. If they are too disgusting to be eaten, the people don’t eat dinner and will probably never order from your store again. I will definitely accelerate this to corporate because there is definitely a margin of something being not ideal but passable and this I would not even feed to a dog. Please re-train your employees and do right by your “customers”.
Pizza tasted old, the cinnamon sticks came with red sauce. The cinnamon was breaking apart I mean do I have to explain just take a look at the picture! When I called they lied and said they would send someone to send icing (obviously a lie) When we seen how the bread sticks looked and realized the pizza tasted old we called again. The man hung up. So I called (on a different phone) and once he heard my voice he hung up the phone. We went in person and everyone plays stupid I couldn’t help but notice the cook didn’t have a hairnet on. (ALSO THERE WAS HAIR ON THE PIZZA) The woman was talking loudly in the back about us, the manager said “There’s nothing we can do come back in the morning.” THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!!
If you want sauce on your pizza go somewhere else. I like to taste the sauce on pizza but this location is very stingy on it so I always order the pizza with extra sauce. Even then it looks like they only give you a teaspoon of sauce. There is not enough to taste. Their pizza is just crust with toppings. This is every time not just an occasional mistake.

Unfortunately, my recent experience ordering from this Pizza Hut location (with delivery via DoorDash) was nothing short of appalling — easily the worst service encounter I’ve ever had from any food establishment. To start, the DoorDash driver was over 40 minutes late, which I initially tried to be patient about. However, it quickly became clear the delay was only part of a much larger problem. The driver was completely unprofessional — swearing on the phone while arguing with a friend who was also in the car, and speaking to me in a highly disrespectful tone. Despite providing detailed delivery instructions on my order, it took an additional 30 minutes of back-and-forth communication to get the driver to the correct location. By the time the food arrived, it was no longer hot or fresh — completely unacceptable for a delivery order that was already late. But what followed was even more frustrating. Wanting to report the issue and give Pizza Hut the opportunity to address it, I called the store directly. Unfortunately, the staff I spoke with — including both a manager in training (female) and the on-duty manager (male) — were dismissive and equally unprofessional. The manager in training hung up on me mid-conversation, and when I called back, the on-duty manager offered no resolution, instead telling me I’d have to call again in the morning to speak to the general manager. This level of disregard for customer service — from both the delivery and store sides — is inexcusable. As someone who supports local businesses and understands the importance of treating every customer with respect, this experience was a complete failure from start to finish. Final thoughts: - The delivery was late, unprofessional, and unsafe. - The food was cold and poor in quality upon arrival. - The store’s management failed to show any accountability or offer a resolution, with multiple instances of rude behavior and negligence. 10/10 would not recommend this location to anyone. I will not be returning and will be sharing this experience within my professional network and community channels. If Pizza Hut as a brand cares at all about its customer base, this location and its handling of complaints needs serious attention and retraining.
ORDER ELSEWHERE! From the other reviews, it looks like you shouldn’t order from this Pizza Hut anymore, and we are another account of poor customer service. We ordered and paid extra for a Pan Pizza, and received regular crust. OK, no big deal right? So I called to see if they would fix it. The only option I was given was to drive to the store to swap it out for a new pizza. Sort of defeats the purpose of delivery. So they (the manager) told us there was nothing else they can do. I was understanding, but an unhappy customer. If it were good customer service, they would have at least refunded a portion of the extra money we paid for the pizza, but that wasn’t offered. Be warned that this Pizza Hut location is really not doing much right nowadays (which is sad bc we used to like Pizza Hut), so order from another location or opt for another pizza shop until this location does better with their customer service.
Pizza was fine, the breadsticks were good. Now here is the issue, I paid for the the pizza via gift card online. Picked it up and went back to my car and the cashier came out saying I didn't pay. So I went in with the pizza she grabbed it from me without even asking and put it in the warmer. Well then the manager called someone but wouldn't talked to me about. By the time everything got situated the pizza which was in the warmer really wasn't hot anymore. Didn't even get a sorry or it explained and the girl who did this went into the back. Not hard to say sorry for the situation.
I literally just bought this and I have a hair in it.. I bought it at 10:16 pm October 7th and it got here around 10:40ish.. that’s all fine and well. Until I started eating it. I got to my second slice and had a long hair in it. I’m African American with short Afro hair..and this is a medium strand of wavy hair. I put a picture of my hair as comparison. I tried calling and couldn’t get through to anyone (11:15pm). It’s currently October 26th 2021.. I was offered a $10 credit and decided to use it. I got two 2 liter drinks and a pizza. At 4:58 pm me and my fiancé paid for the items. It didn’t arrive till 6:10pm. The driver only brought the pizza and said he’d bring the drinks later. We thought “oh that’s fine go ahead.” I called back at 6:50pm and the person that answered the phone said that the next person out for deliveries will deliver it. It’s 7:35pm and we still haven’t gotten a call back or our drinks. The pizza was really good and still warm when we got it.. but alas no drinks.. 8:05pm. Drinks are here. If you order from here. Only do pick up.
We ordered 4 pizzas and one side of fries for my picky eater. There was hardly any fries in the box!! For the price you pay. This is just plain wrong! If you want delivery, you have to order thru Uber Eats. Everything is priced higher and there is no accountability for the product. Ordered large two topping stuffed crust pizza it arrived 30 minutes after estimated delivery time was ice cold and was offered a $5 credit for reimbursement the person on the phone was helpful the manager not so much
This is the worst pizza establishment in Gainesville Florida the manager is a false person the lady that answered the phone said she was trying to help me say bring my order in and they would remake it. If I wanted to go up there I would of went up there in the first place that's why I had delivery I'm handicap in a wheel chair and have to wait on someone to take me places. You can't even call the store directly and won't be connected through their foreign call center. Used online chat customer service and was only offered a free three topping pizza when I ordered a supreme with extras. Terrible experience. Won't order here or delivery again. Work as an in home nurse and this was my extra lil treat to myself and it wasn't and couldn't even be corrected. I want a refund on my entire order and WILL be going my the store in person I suppose because this ruined my birthday night at work.
I’ve ordered delivery from this Pizza Hut three times and twice they couldn’t manage to get the order correct . Do yourself a favor and don’t order pizza from this place.

The ranch was in the pizza box and hot. That is a heath hazord. That will spoil the dressing before the customer even gets it. HORRIBLE!

Specifically asked if icing was in the cinnasticks. Get home and there is none! I live too far away to go get it. It would be on me but when you ask and the dude was so out of it then it’s poor customer service.

My wife and I went into the store to pick up and pay for the order. Upon entering NOONE greeted or said hello. I NEVER received my order as we could not get the attention of the staff. I asked for service, but once again, NOONE acknowledged my existence. I will not patronize Pizza Hut again. My money, my choice.
