I was visiting my daughter in Astoria and this place was my favorite place while I was in Astoria! I’m pescatarian, so I’d order tofu with vegetable(no oil, you can ask for that to make it healthier!) and shrimp lo mein and my daughter would order general tso’s chicken. The portion is pretty big, price is pretty cheap and everything we had tasted so good! The lady at front is very nice and I really miss this place!!! I’ll definitely go back there when I go back to Astoria!
It's hard to judge a Chinese place in NY. You never get what you expect. At this place I order chicken with mixed vegetables and a wonton soup, my usual when I go to a Chinese place. The chicken was tender and the vegetables were mixed Not greasy at ALL. And the wonton soup was on point. Friendly lady at the register I decided to dine in. Good Chinese places are hard to find and this is definitely one of them. Definitely coming back to try something different from the menu.
As far as Chinese takeout goes, this spot is probably one of the best that you can find in Astoria. It comes with very reasonable prices even to this day and a healthy amount of food that will keep you and your family happy. I enjoyed this with my family where we had a lot of food for a fraction of the price that you get other places. highly recommend, good taste, will come back again. 5 star service too :)
best china express restaurant in Queens! Best prices & fast service. Chicken with broccoli and white rice was my favourite! Staff is always polite, ordering via phone is not a problem
You guys HAVE to order from here and support this restaurant. The woman who owns this Restaurant is ACTUALLY the most wonderful human being to support. She is so kind and so amazing. And the food is really really good. I would give her all of my money if I could. She is so sweet. Just please support her business and eat some delicious Chinese food while you’re doing it.
The beef is delicious. The vegetables are beautiful. The taste is very good. I will eat it every day.
I walked by and it smelled good, so on a whim I ordered the dish I always get anywhere—mixed vegetables with bean curd. It’s excellent! Best I have had in the area. Variety of vegetables, veggies are not overcooked, so they’re crisp and flavorful, tofu is deliciously fried and soaks up the sauce, which is plentiful and has a well-rounded flavor. To top it all off, staff were friendly and quick! Will definitely be back! Thank you :)

I've ordered enough different items from the menu to be able to say that China Broadway's food is very good. I've not been dissatisfied yet with the quantity or quality of their offerings. This Chinese restaurant is a little out of the way for me, but it's worth the walk to get my takeout.
Best Chinese food in Astoria and I’ve been living here for 32 years. This one spot I used to go to in Harlem it reminds me of
Good food, nice people. Real NYC Chinese food, totally recommend.
The family that runs this place are very nice and make fresh and great tasting food. Most of the dishes here are packed like they don't skimp on any of the good ingredients, including meat or vegetables. This is Astoria's best Chinese Take out place I'd say 😉
Tried probably 90% of the Chinese take out in Astoria & this ranks at the top of the list. The seasame chicken is crispy and they don’t skimp on the portion. Also the chicken and broccoli has a high chicken ratio unlike other spots near by . They stay open late, accept card and are nice people .
It took me a while to find a good spot after a few years hiatus, but this is it! Fresh, delicious, and fast. Also the lovely woman who takes the orders over the phone is so sweet!
I've tried numerous fast food Chinese food here in Queens (LIC & ASTORIA) they're my go to. Don't order the jumbo orange shrimp tho, it's 50% not shrimp, I love everything else here and I order a lot for my events.
Make plans to eat here soon. Every main dish was outstanding, beautifully presented and thoughtfully matched. Their employees performed with precision and confidence. The menu impresses in a nice environment. This place is good enough for weekly meals!

First time customer and had the food delivered. Everything was fresh and tasty. The green beans in spicy garlic sauce were delicious. My new go to favorite for Chinese takeout!
Had the General Tso chicken for $6.50- very tasty!!!! Plus the chicken lo mein for $7.15 for lunch!

Best fried chicken, excellent fries, very good cold sesame noodles, lovely fried rice, shrimp is hit and miss, egg rolls consistently excellent and crispy, wontons and wonton soup consistently tasty and not too salty, sublime ribs on the bone. Stay away from the fried scallops.

Best pork fried rice I've ever had, but I think their pork eggroll had shrimp? which I'm not a fan of. Their steamed veggies have peppers and onions FYI. Also found their wontons off-putting due to texture. The people running it are truly wonderful community members who are kind and giving, so even though it's not to my taste, it may be to others.

Price gouging. Lady double charged me for a soda, even though she assured me didn’t. I go home and check the menu online, and the math doesn’t add up. Either way they will never get my business again because they want to scheme customers out of $1.50.
The people here are so nice and the portions are generous but after several conversations about the severity of an allergy and being assured repeatedly they could cook our order without a specific ingredient, it arrived, I was totally confident it was safe because of our discussion, and big chunks of that ingredient were hidden in multiple dishes we received. Someone could have died. We were just lucky I noticed in time. (Cross contamination is ok, actual pieces of the ingredient, NOT okay, which they knew bec we had discussed it with details and were told none of that ingredient would be in the dishes.) We can't safely eat here again. We had previously had a wonderful experience here which made this one so surprising and scary. If you don't have allergies, generous portions nice people, especially recommend the chicken and broccoli. If you do have serious allergies, I recommend don't. I am really sad about it. It was a scary night.
