This dark local bar is an offshoot of Dominie's Hoek in LIC. Unlike the original location this Astoria location doesn't have a full kitchen. Instead, they only serve $5 personal bar pizzas 6 nights a week. With no TVs and a friendly staff this a great place to go with a group.

Domines is a local bar we’re every stranger is a friend. There’s also a killing band (Trampleman band)that plays every Sunday at 9pm and everyone in the bar actually pays full attention when they play!!

It’s an Astoria dive bar that lives up to every part of that description. Also don’t miss on the pizza - low key the best slices you’ll find in the whole borough.

Its definitely the local spot in Astoria. It's right on 30th Ave near all the other more expensive and classier places but they have one of the better crowds and atmospheres. Definitely go.

They now take credit cards! Good, cheap drinks. Live music Sunday (incredible jazz band!), Monday and Tuesday nights. Great bartenders. Excellent music. Fun patrons, which is especially good since they don't have TVs. Happy hour until 8pm. Phenomenal pizzas available Mon - Thu.

I don't know how Korean food can be better than this. I have been to Seoul and the taste is pretty authentic to me. Very surprised to find that kind of restaurant in Astoria and not in Ktown. It's not overpriced, portions are big, and the service is perfect. So what else do you need…. Highly recommend this restaurant gamsahabnida!

Very cool laid-back place. I wanted a drink and went to a nearby bar first, then immediately walked out because of the packed crowd. I walked by this place, Dominie's, and it was just my style. Chill people and cool playlist. This will be my new go-to!

Found this place from a fun but silly advertisement. "It's a cold day enjoy day hot drink" (it was 1am) it was very cold that day walked in and enjoyed a boozy hot cocoa (strong I might add!) And played connect four for an hr absolutely loved it. (They also had uno) Staff was kind friendly and bathroom facilities were clean and stocked. I will be making another trip here soon!

I absolutely love this bar!! Every time I visit this bar I have such a fun time. It’s a good neighborhood spot with regulars and amazing Bartenders!! I work weird hours and Sometimes I get off extremely late, and if I am not ready to go home I always know Doms is open and the Vibe will be good. Sundays they have live Jazz and its so fun and Lively! I now live In Brooklyn, but Still always manage to make my way back up to Dominies.

Old school Italian slow food. An expensive feeling vibe for special occasions, but decent prices and family-style Italian dining. We had Brocolli rabe, salad and a pizza. Their pizza was really good thin crust. Wine and service were excellent. A great place for a celebration.

A nice local Dive? Bar. Couldn't quite decide how to categorize it. Pretty decent happy hour till 7pm. nice little backyard, and if you're lucky there might even be some cute pups.

I love this bar. Loud, unpretentious, cheapish, and they have pickles. Don't go in expecting fancy drinks or mixologist, and you'll leave a happy New Yorker.

It’s a ok bar. Very simple. Their pizza is very tasty. I would go back just for the pizza. The drinks are more or less. Interesting place for a quick drink and chat to catch up with friends.

Decent neighborhood bar. Food options are pretty limited, though. I wish they had French fries or tater tots.

The place is casual and chill. Bartender is cool. Two margaritas and a rum punch would've expectedly made me at least a little tipsy since I don't have a high tolerance but I was completely sober which I thought was weird. The lights in the backyard don't work at the moment which is unfortunate but it's still a nice place to hang out with friends.

I want to start of by saying that this bar is a fun pub, but PLEASE be aware of your surroundings and drinks. My friends and I went for drinks here on Wednesday night, and a Greek guy had roofied my friend. Thank god we noticed, and took her home. She was dizzy, almost fainted, fell to the floor, and her pupils were dilated. The guy kept following us around and wouldn’t leave her. Finally we got him to leave. I tried calling the bar but their phone number was not working. I tried to contact them on their website, but that was not working as well. Please be aware, and if the manager can contact me, and look at the tapes from that night, it would be really helpful to make sure it does not happen again. Ladies watch your drinks, and be careful when someone tries to offer one to you.

They are using cheap drinks for mixing cocktails! Had two cocktails and I was lost in the other planet!

I was assaulted by the pizza guy Jose. He put me in a choke hold and threw to the street. I was only going there to use the bathroom. Other people there pushed me and someone punched me in the back of the head. I never in my life experience anything like this. Very traumatized at the moment.

The bar directly across the street is WAY better. More Fun and they take credit cards. This place is cash only and boring.

THIS PLACE DISCRIMINATES!!!! So I understand not serving customers who are unvaccinated and sitting inside as you do face fines as a business with the new mandates. I am a business owner so I am well aware of the rules and regulations that were recently implemented. However, since when does a business refuse to serve someone who is sitting outside?!? The bartender here was patronizing and rude!! Please give your money to an establishment that actually respects their customers and doesn’t make their own rules on demand. Update: asked some of the people sitting outside if they had to show their vaccine card to be able to enjoy a drink outdoors and they said no. So evidently they pick and choose who to discriminate against. I will make sure to escalate this. Perhaps it was the color of my skin or hair but they chose to use vaccination status as a way to discriminate.

Horrible service. Took us 15 min to get a round of drinks at the bar. Bartenders makes eye contact and smiles but ignores us and moves on to the locals to talk or get their drinks first. Figured it was a one off but it happened again when we were ready to get another round so we ended up just leaving. I understand if it was a packed bar but this was just a case of favoritism and poor service. Even tried having our female friend getting the drinks with no success. Talked to a few patrons at the bar across the street that same night and their experience was the same.

Came here on Halloween. I’ve never had such a bad experience with a bar/bar render. We stood waiting for a bartender to acknowledge us. Multiple people within our group of friends were seen and ignored.

I’ve given this bar several tries and it misses every time. As a local, there are so many dive bars around but I really wanted to give this one a chance due to the fact that they have games (jenga, connect 4, etc), pizza, and reasonable prices. However, the staff at this bar are inconsiderate, unfriendly, and unhelpful. They seem to only cater to their regulars. For instance, I once waited at the bar for about 10 minutes before my order was taken due to the bartender chatting to a friend. Another instance, I tried to make small talk and ask a bartender about the song he was playing, and he completely ignored me and walked away (I was stunned). The pizza also isn’t great. I wouldn’t recommended.

I went there Thursday night with a group of my friends. Toward the end of the night the bar was not busy and I was trying to get a drink. Three times the female bartender with dark hair acknowledged me and continued to have her conversation with her friends at the corner of the bar. You can look at the cameras. I can understand if it was busy but it was late and there was no one at the bar. I’ve been there two other times and the other two guy bartenders were amazing. This is unexceptional.
