GREAT GREAT GREAT PIZZA! I ordered online for delivery, as we were staying just up out of town at Astoria Crest Motel. I selected like, an 8pm delivery window and I'm not kidding when our pizza SHOWED up 17 minutes later. It was hot, fresh and made exactly right! It tasted delicious and the crust was *chef's kiss* - they even brought us plates, napkins and cheese/pepper packets like I asked for. Will definitely be ordering again next time we're in town.

I had never in all my years of going thru Astoria ever tried this place until this last year and now I am so disappointed I didn't earlier. Been there a few times now and the food is always hot and fresh, delicious overload. The sandwiches, burgers, pizza all of it is just hands down amazing 🤩 My daughter's favorite is the chicken bacon hoagie sandwich. I love the french dip. The breakfast pizza was incredible. Can't wait to try more things here.

….First and foremost ignore all the reviews from the entitled whiners who’ve posted with disregard to the staffing troubles and who expect to be waited on like diapered babies 👶 . This small town with the Goonies ties is gifted this great old restaurant outside the main drag of the “downtown” and offers great American food. We are out of towner’s vacationing from Wisconsin and after a week of traveling and hitting places off the beaten path-this is another of the “good ones”. If you expect a place like this to be overstated like Chik-Fil-A or Culver’s or any other chain place-you might as well drive past. If you like old-school casual family atmosphere and matching service-then this is your place. Enjoy the wall-decor and baseball on the TV and the effort from the staff and knowing this place is one of a kind. If we are ever back in this area again-we will be back.

Came here based on a recommendation from a local at a bar we went to earlier in the day. I was looking for a good wing place and boy did they come through. Wings are small, bite sized but the crunch and flavor was amazing. Their pizza is awesome as well. Best part is we paid about half the cost as we did at an upscale brewery that we ate at the previous day. If you like good pizza, wings, and a chill atmosphere I recommend you come here!

The food was absolutely fantastic, and the staff here are definitely attentive to your needs. It feels mid-range in price, but that's just unique to my personal situation financially, otherwise, every time I was in town, I'd definitely eat here. The fact they have a booth dedicated to an elderly gentleman's preference is really sweet, and gives the place a homey feel. I ordered a taco pizza, and it did not disappoint. My daughters had a Hawaiian pizza and a grilled cheese, and they enjoyed their food as well. It was overall a pleasant experience, and I look forward to the next time I get to eat there!

So This weekend I visited Astoria Oregon for the second time. For lunch we had Geno's pizza and burger this place is so good! the burgers are so huge and so delicious! I couldn't even finish it. im definitely coming back, really nice friendly people it was great, try if you visit .Astoria is beautiful, what a place!

Best food we’ve had in a long time at a great price! The burgers tasted real.. like what you’d make at a backyard barbecue. The onion rings and French fries were excellent. But the pie! It was absolute decadence. We’ll definitely be back.

We were traveling with a foster dog and the weather was rainy, but these kind souls let us come into their restaurant with our dog, out of the rain. They were so accommodating. Okay I'll admit we've been going to Gino's for quite a few years but today I had the first French dip usually it's a hamburger and beer or a pizza but this French dip was off the hook it was out of the planet it was the best sandwich I've ever eaten in my life it was so good and it was so big I could only eat half but I'm eating the other half right now here at home about 127 mi away from Astoria that's how good that restaurant is we drive we drive there only on special occasions today it was to celebrate retirement yeah

Loved it. Picked up pizza since the hotel is right across the street. Pizza was delicious, with real pizza dough crust & sauce with flavor. You can tell they care about their food. My 7yr old ate his whole small pizza (& for a small it's decently sized). Staff were friendly & even the hotel personnel said it was their favorite. We didn't eat in, but if you do there's a small game area at the back (disclaimer: having a galaga game in the back did add points for good taste👍)

Good food, locally owned and operated. You can tell from the moment you walk in this is a community minded establishment. They have a good variety on the menu including house baked pies and other treats. Our food was delicious and our service was outstanding.

Had great service from the lovely woman that waited on us. We ordered a Sample Platter and a Kitchen Sink party size pizza and we were not disappointed. All the appetizers in the Sample Platter were fried to perfection and came out very quickly. We ordered a pitcher of Ninaski Total Domination IPA and for $13 bucks you can't go wrong. So glad we stopped here on our visit to Astoria. Gonna have to come back and try some of those monstrous burgers a neighboring table ordered because they looked fantastic.

Cozy local pizza joint. RIGHT NEXT TO THE GOONIES HOUSE and jail turned museum. As it is smaller, they seemed short staff but the employees were kind and friendly, just busy, which is great for them! They do not do happy birthday singing or anything like that though which is fine. Amazing blue cheese burger!! Kid friendly with their arcade and coloring pages for kids!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE. I had a small Geno's Special which includes pepperoni, salami, beef, black olives and it was great. My server was very nice and hospitable and she shared with me some history of Astoria I did not know. Plus the table of 4 next to me ordered cheeseburgers and they brought them some of the biggest burgers I've seen. They were huge. I would definitely go back the next time I'm in town. Highly recommend.

The kids also loved their meals and actually finished all their food, which is always a great sign when you’re eating out with family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🍕. We also ordered pizza, and it was really solid — easily an 8/10 in my book. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Another thing that impressed me was how quickly the food came out of the kitchen ⏱️. On the way back home from grocery shopping at the Astoria Food Co-op, I was craving a good, juicy burger. Since my roommate had eaten a burger from there the other night and it looked delectable, I was craving one of their burgers. It didn’t seem to matter that I just spent quite a few dollars on wonderful food. I wanted that burger. Badly. Enough to brave the traffic going back home. I ordered a Swiss cheeseburger with the works: sauce made of ketchup and mayo, onion, lettuce, tomato and there may have been pickle on it, I’m not sure. I ordered regular fries and brought it all home. OMG…! The cheeseburger was juicy, thick and altogether yummy… the french fries were probably the best I’ve had in many years. I forgot to take a photo of the food because I was hungry and couldn’t wait to eat it. I plan to go back at least once a week… it was that good.

Hello! Came here with my client’s adult adaptive recreation group. We had a reservation and the whole front room was just for our group so we got to spread out which was very nice. Lori was our server and she made sure all our orders were on separate checks which made cashing out very easy! Lori was incredibly kind and patient. Our food came out very quickly and was delicious! I love the prices too. Coming from Portland, it’s always nice to go to establishments that aren’t terribly overpriced. Thank you, Geno’s!

Successful local sports competitor adorned pizza and sub restaurant. It is on the outskirts of the hustle and bustle of downtown Astoria. Plenty of parking for lunch during the week. The service was excellent and the 3 topping pizza we ordered was tasty with generous toppings.

Had lunch here on a Monday. very impressed. The crust was excellent and cooked perfectly. It reminded me of a pizza chain that used to be in Washington (Pizza Haven) The toppings were perfect and although we split a small, my wife and I walked out full. Unfortunately, we only get this way (from eastern Washington) about every 5 years, but we will definitely be back the next time we are in town. I might add, the staff was very friendly and the place had a very laid back "chill" vibe to it. Very nice.

The waffle fries were good. They have a claw machine with stuffed animals that has a good grip and isnt a rip off. Got a unicorn my first try. Highly reccomend this joint.

This was right across the road from our hotel and looked like a good “local” place. The food was great! We had pepperoni pizza, Hawaiian pizza, and a burger with onion rings. The crust on the pizza was perfectly crisp on the bottom yet perfectly soft on the top! The burger and onion rings were delish. Great service…adaptable…they’d let you sit and linger if you want or serve in a hurry if you needed to go. Took home three fresh pie slices…key lime, peanut butter chocolate, and cherry. All were great!

We were visiting Astoria, Oregon for a couple of days and found this restaurant close to our hotel. They have fantastic food and wonderful people working there. We had one issue with our food--we are vegetarians and ordered the taco salad, which the menu did not indicate that it came with ground beef. When we told them, they were quick to remake it. The tomato basil pizza was also delicious! They are very responsive and understand what it takes to provide great service. We will definitely come here again!

Great food! The portions are good and the flavor is amazing. There are some great things, and some not so good things that we experienced. Let's start with the chicken parm sandwich, it was extremely delicious and I absolutely loved it; the portions were good, the flavor is amazing, but the only downside was that it was a little on the dry side, it would be much better with a little more sauce/marinara on it (or on the side). The fries that came with it were cooked absolutely perfect and tasted great. I was happy with my meal. The Salmon burger was the perfect size and was moist and delicious. My girlfriend loved it, but I thought that the flavor of the salmon would "pop" or burst with flavor more if it was seared just a little bit more. We loved it. The curly fries that came with it was cooked perfectly and they were tasty. Overall, we loved the food. The only reason that I gave 4 stars and not 5 stars is because the cleanliness of the establishment. It looked like all of the tables should be wiped down and cleaned properly. Also the carpet/floor could use an upgrade or at least a proper cleaning. It looks like it would have been a busy, Jamming place to eat and hang out in the 1980's or '90's, but now it could use a little face-lift to create a warm, welcoming environment to increase business. We loved the food and that is the main reason to go to Geno's. It's Delicious!

Older diner type of restaurant. People, service nice. Fried mushrooms with ranch was very good. Chicken California sandwich was good but didn’t come with avocado as menu stated. Got a jalapeno burger and veg pizza with onion rings on the side. Burger was solid , cooked perfect ,juicy and fresh toppings , onions rings were fresh crunchy and perfect. N Pizza was also decent , toppings tasted fresh , dough is so so but not bad. The prices to portions are fantastic. Why get a burger at fast food place , come here and get one for same price or less and you get a good real burger. Will come back when around this town for sure.

Good pizza and vegetarians get a lot of choices. There aren't a lot of vegetarian choices when it comes to burgers though and we didn't see any non-meat choices in the sandwiches.

Fabulous spot for a quick lunch in Astoria. We went the burger route this visit but in a conversation with a local regular she told us we had to come back for the pizza! Place is pretty clean and fairly busy at this lunch stop but service was prompt. I orders a super burger which is a 2/3 lb patty. They have a double super burger but I just didn’t have the stomach that day for 20+ ounces of ground beef. Tots were good but the presentation was only slightly underwhelming. Wife had half a meatball sub that she said was very good and very filling. Onion rings were commercially prepared, not house made but were crispy and tasty. Next time through it’ll have to be the pizza

Ambiance: Local and regional sports pictures and posters adorn the walls. Basic table and chairs for dining. Clean and laid back. Service: The lady who waited on us was awesome. Friendly and thorough. Made sure we knew about all the options and got all of the details correct. Food Quality: Basket of curly fries came out piping hot. Ketchup and fry sauce provided went well with the fries. Large supreme/pepperoni pizza was good. Crispy crust and gooey cheesy topping. Classic local pizza shop pizza. 6.75/10. Value for Money: Large pizza (15") for $26. Filling. Had leftovers. Overall Experience: Very pleasant dining experience. Food came out on time and the woman helping us made the experience even better. Recommended

It’s been over 25 years since first trying Geno’s. I’m not sure why it took me so long to go back. I suspect it had more to do with location than quality of the food or service. It’s just located on the end of town I very rarely frequent. I was happily impressed with how solid the food is. Nothing fancy. Just a nice solid meal. I chose the Hawaiian Chicken Burger, minus the Mayo and added a side of teriyaki sauce. It was a decent grilled chicken breast topped with cheese and pineapple chunks. Lettuce, tomatoes and a side of pickle chips. It was tasty and the teriyaki sauce was yummy! The onion rings were crispy and not greasy. My friend had the Cobb Salad and it was HUGE. Lots of lettuce (looked like iceburg), topped with other veggies, meat, cheese with a side of Texas toast. Like I said, nothing fancy. The joint could definitely use a remodel, as it’s interior is rather dated, but you know what….it was clean and the waitress was friendly, quick and attentive. It was also nice to have ample parking and not have to find parking in downtown Astoria, which is a nightmare. Plus, they are open on Monday which is not the case for a lot of restaurants in Astoria or Warrenton. I will definitely be back sooner than the next 25 years!

We had always wondered about this place...a previous recent trip to the coast we stopped but no indoor dining...now it’s open to indoor dining...a little bit of a challenge since our party had “5” but we got sat and our order taken...you cannot go wrong with anything you select. We had a "chicken alfredo" pizza. I was impressed by the quality & quantity of toppings on the crispy crust.

Waitress was bothered that we want to split our table up into 4 Checks as we were all couples paying separately. She never came back to check if everything alqas fine or give refills on our drinks. The fries that I paid extra for on my Philly plate was very minimal. The Philly sandwich was nothing what she boasted about or the size. Then when going to pay the register didn't show was was being tendered, (no display) a check was never given so who knows what was being charged, all she did when I walked up to the register was asked for my credit card. I handed it to her and then I thought to myself wait a second what am I being charged, and sure enough she was charging me four dollars more for my sandwich and fries than what it should've came to. Then she said she couldn't reverse the charge and got into her cash register and gave me $2.25 back. At that point I thought to myself no tip and I'm not coming back this place is a joke! Very questionable methods. Who knows how many people daily that she does that too in pockets the money at the end of the day. That might not be happening but that's sure the first thing that came to my mind.

Good quick service bar food when you're in a pinch. Food came out fairly quick but the check does not so recommend you walk up to the bar to pay if you have somewhere to be. Salmon burger is great, and it's a tie between which is better: the tots or the fries.

Tasty food, shabby interior in need of refurbishment (especially the torn up booths), and slow but friendly service.

After a long day of driving, finally reaching our hotel, and in need of finding decent food within walking distance of our lodging, we found Geno's. It has the feeling of an old-fashioned pizzeria--a bit dark with wooden booths and pinball type games. We ordered the burgers and were pleased. They weren't great, but what we needed at the time. The menu is substantial though.

Normally, I love this place. Their Philly Cheesesteaks & shakes are AMAZING. But, we were trying to be a little healthier & both ordered a chicken cobb salad (online, for pick up). The quality of the lettuce was off & very watery. I asked for no tomatoes... but that request was ignored. For balance, we got jalapeño poppers. They were GREAT & the amount for a regular order was huge. I'll never stop going to Geno's. But I will stick to their strong points in the future. And yeah, I'm totally craving a Philly Cheesesteak now!

I would give a 7/10. The pizza was like a 6/10 because while the cheese is great and the price is great as well, the crust was just too crunchy and felt like I was eating the crispy side of a loaf of sourdough. The service was excellent, and my food came out within 10 minutes. Atmosphere was good, not too crowded and they had football going. The seat was a little uncomfy but I survived. I would say 7/10 good place to try some good tasting well priced food. - The Critic

They have good portions for the price and the sides are good. But they do lack seasoning, like the curly fries didnt have any salt and the burger was quite bland. But otherwise it is good.

I paid $4.50 for a small bowl of KRAFT Mac and cheese! Then I paid almost $8 for a small piece of chocolate cake. The pizza was good but not for the price which was about $28 for a medium with 4 toppings. The place is a rip off.

Very disappointed. Geno's has always been a must stop for pizza for us while spending time in Astoria, so when we went to Astoria this weekend anticipating the usual awesome pizza, we found it was just not the same at all. I used to drool over this pizza, but now it's just another crappy pizza place. I don't know why the new owners changed what was previously amazing pizza, but we were truly bummed and do not plan to go here again.

We tried the Philly steak, the patty melt, the veggie pizza, and the double patted Burger. Most of the products were more bread than meat. Quality service. Probably will not come back. They should definitely work on more substance than bread.

I just bought a small meety special for 15.50.which is 10 inches. The first thing the menu. says is triple. Cheese. There was barely enough cheese on there to cover a mousetrap. If you're not putting triple cheese on there, don't put it on your menu. And a small Pizza is at least 12 inches. There's a lot of competition in your town. Maybe you should do better.

I get this place has a cult following and that they pride themselves on being a dive bar but I’m really shocked this place is still around. The service we received tonight (if you can call it that) was atrocious. The server mocking my 9yr old for the fact she wanted water and not soda, to waiting 25 mins for our ticket, it was awful all around. Not to mention how disgusting it is to sit there and wait and wait for service when your legs are sticking to the seats, grease dripping down there wall pictures and dust hanging from the light above your table. If the part of the restaurant they WANT you to see looks like this, I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like. Clearly nobody here cares. It’s disgusting.

We were staying in Long Beach, but we passed Geno’s on our way through Astoria. It sounded good and the reviews were decent, better than any pizza you can find in Long Beach. Geno’s website, Google, and Apple Maps said they were open 7 days a week, so we planned our entire day on Sunday around going to Geno’s for dinner. Get there around 6pm on Sunday to find a tiny note on the window that says, “Sorry, closed on Sundays :(“ very unprofessional and disappointing. We will not be back to try the food.

They overcharged us. We asked to split the bill among three families, but they still added a 20% charge even though the place was empty when we arrived. Even with that fee, the final amount didn’t match what I was told. Instead of the $60 total I expected—including tax, tip, and the 20% group charge—we were charged $85. When I went back to ask for an explanation, they said they couldn’t help and told me to return another time, but I live 120 miles away. No resolution was offered.
