Went for the original Mexican Martini, invented here in the 1980s, which was delicious. Stayed for the great happy hour deals, Monday-Thursday 4-6. The martini was great, as was the brisket quesadilla, and the staff. It's located a couple blocks from the convention center and downtown metro station.

The food was great! We had Shishitos, which included one that was super spicy, we teased that it was probably a serrano pepper. The Brussel sprouts were yummy and sweet with a kick. The shrimp pasta was super creamy and tasty. The chicken fried steak was hearty with the mashed potatoes and greens. The burgers and brisket sandwich were full of flavor. I loved their fries. Our waitress was super friendly.

Tom and Jacob were amazing! They made the absolute best drinks and gave the best suggestions. The food and drinks were delicious and I truly enjoyed them. The beef brisket tacos were absolutely, hands down, some of the best tacos I have ever had in my life!!! I grew up down the street from an authentic Mexican Cantina and promise you these tacos are contenders with Juanita’s Mexican Restaurant. Check them Out, you will not be disappointed!

Great spot. This place was perfect for a late evening meal and drinks. The Tajin fries are spectacular. The white wings and the dry rub wings were perfectly seasoned and so good, especially with the blue cheese. I also got to try the fish tacos. The tacos were also good and had a nice kick. Cedar Door is a must try for downtown Austin. It's an easy going vibe and casual atmosphere. The food is delicious, the jalapeno gravy is hard to beat. The prices are very reasonable for the area.

I enjoyed my time here. Sat outside in the nice open patio, had a couple of the appetizers. Their service was absolutely great. Great service is everything! Ordered the smoked wings. I would of loved for them to be more smokier and crispier. Not too many places serve smoke wings so this was something I was excited about but unfortunately didn't meet my expectations. But that's ok, we had the OG white wings which made up for it. Martinis were also good. Definitely would come back here.

I got seated very quickly and had the bbq brisket sandwich. Food was great and I liked the patio area. Even though the staff was nice they did take a little bit long to refill water and did not come by often to see if I needed anything else. I wanted to order another beer but no one came around. Food was good though so I can’t complain too much.

I was able to get a table quickly, but the service was slow beyond that. It took a while for the food to come out and the waitress only appeared a couple of times. No refills as she didn't come back, but that's OK. The prices were OK. They were high $$$ on certain items. The quality of the food wasn't bad, but it was a little bland. The atmosphere was nice. It's a bar with a modern look to it. They were also great at accommodating a seafood allergy.

Nice bar downtown Austin lots of room to visit throughout the bar. It has decent food not a large selection. Bar staff were friendly and quick. They were playing older country music 90's Parking is terrible espect to pay $14 hour in near by parking garage.

Tried their buffalo shrimp tacos and it was ok. The tacos got more sour the more I ate it, was hard to finish. The strawberry limeade was ok too. I liked the vibe of the place, was actually heading elsewhere but decided to leave that and drop in here for lunch instead when I was walking past. Upbeat music, mix of oldies 80s with current pop songs. Slow service. Big screen sports. Overall food was better than average, just not wow. We were not impressed with the place. Music and atmosphere were good but we had to wait ages till we can order. And then foodnarrived before the drinks (how do 2 bottled beers take longer than a chicken fried steak and a quesadilla?) also the food was mediocre at best. You might wanna go there for a drink at the bar but not for food.

The steak I had was incredible. The drinks were ok when we were able to get them. Seemed like everything was taking a while. They weren't too busy for a Wednesday so we kind of expected better service, but idk, that was my first experience there. My biggest complaint was the Cole Slaw... I am a big fan of it, especially if it's made there so I was really excited to try it. However, mine had no slaw... Overall not a bad experience.
