Just tried out this small gelato and crepe spot, and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious—the crepe was perfectly light, and the fresh strawberries and whipped cream made it even better. The gelato was smooth and full of flavor. On top of that, the staff was super friendly, making the whole experience even better. The cozy, bright atmosphere is a nice place to sit and enjoy a sweet treat. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
Love this place!!! Super cute aesthetic and the staff were so lovely and friendly! Helped me pick out what I wanted and were super patient. The gelato is absolutely fantastic! You have to try the Dubai chocolate sundae!
Love this new spot! Frozen yogurt is healthy and natural, and they blend fruits into it rather than just put them on top. Perhaps best of all, they have Dubai chocolate ice cream here. Tastes just like the chocolate, but in ice cream form. Will definitely be back for more!
Loved the frozen yogurt swirl with fruit! Great cappuccino. Kids got crepe and gelato and everything was very rich. Staff was friendly and there’s room to sit outside which is always great with little ones.
Fun place for families. Lots of great frogen yogurt flavors. Good ice cream, awesome shakes. They are just opened so be patient. We really enjoyed our visit.
I had such a delightful experience at Dotty’s! The cozy and welcoming atmosphere made it the perfect spot to relax. Their coffee is exceptional, with rich, bold flavors that coffee lovers will truly appreciate. But the real star of the show is their gelato—absolutely divine! Every flavor I tried was creamy, smooth, and packed with authentic, fresh ingredients. You can tell they put so much care into crafting each batch. Whether you’re in the mood for a perfectly brewed coffee or an indulgent gelato treat, this place has it all. Highly recommended!”
Finally, a good iced coffee and real frozen yogurt in Austin! All this and much more can be found at Dotty’s Cafe. The owners are amazing, and I’m sure it’s going to be my favorite spot to enjoy coffee and indulge in some sweets. Their menu is so rich with good things. Highly recommended!
Delicious desserts with REAL fruit and mint. The crepes and espresso are fantastic also. This is a much appreciated addition to the neighborhood!
If I could rate more than 5 stars I would! Amazing customer service, excellent drinks of all types no matter what you’re in the mood for! Want a sweet treat? Get their delicious gelato in so many flavors. This is my go to coffee shop for everything I want ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Super nice spot! Love the gelato especially, the biscoff one was my favorite!

THE capital H BEST frozen yogurt in town! I ordered coffee and a Nutella- banana crêpe as well and really enjoyed it. I was reminiscing about my young adulthood going out with friends to town eating frozen yogurt♥️♥️♥️ Moreover, the owner came out to talk to us and told us that soon a patio will be open where children can go around not close to the street. The atmosphere was pleasant, coffee and food were superior! I'll def visit again😍
What an incredible new spot! Large variety of sweets. Hand made ice cream, swirls, crepes and pastries. We had the swirl which was incredible! The back garden with the play set was great for the kids. Can’t wait to come back and try some more stuff
A lovely place with lovely staff! Recommended the Dubai chocolate sundae--which was to die for! Also really enjoyed the dotty slushy coffee, it's so smooth and fluffy!
First time visiting Dotty's Cafe. Coffee was excellent, egg salad toast was delicious, wonderful customer service, very clean place. I will have to try other items from the menu next time, which looked yummy.
Just had to write a review because this place is delicious and the staff is super friendly :) Also writing this because I was a customer at the same time as the reviewer below me who left a bad review and felt like it was not an accurate or fair review at all- honestly made me sad since the staff was actually really kind. This was my first time at dotty’s and I tried the dubai chocolate gelato and a matcha, both were super tasty! The two girls working were very sweet and clearly were working as fast as they could while being busy. Ignore any negative reviews, this place is great! Will be back!

Such a great place! We got a frozen yogurt and an ice cream, both were delicious. In addition, the owner was extremely friendly and helpful, and let my toddler a toy to play with while we ate. We’ll definitely be back.
My husband and I each ordered the crepe in a plate. You only need one for two people we were crazy and did not finish but it wasn’t from a lack of deliciousness ! The only part that was ehh is the seating. Inside is very cramped and the outside patio in the front is across from the busy street. The young man who helped us was super friendly and made everything perfectly.

Nice little shop. Outdoor seating, and indoor seating. Small playscape outside for smaller children, but cramped space. Nice menu with reasonable pricing. Got a frozen yogurt with strawberries and bananas on top. The process took a very long time. There was no line and possibly one person working. But my yogurt cup took over 15 minutes. If I come back, I will try the gelato instead. Small shelf with some toys and activities. But was blocked by a pile of products when we came in. The pile was also blocking the restroom. VERY clean and nice looking inside. A/C was very cool and refreshing during the hot summer.

I like the set up of the place, small but well organized coffee/ ice cream shop. They have plenty of out sort seating and a small playground for kids. However we were expecting the gelato taste more creamier and not to icy or more of a sorbete. I had the biscuit white chocolate and the taste was great but the texture not so much. My wife had the banana pecan and pistacho. The flavor was delicious but the texture was more of a sorbete, the pistacho was not to tasty and the texture was the same. One thing to highlight is that my wife asked for a try of some of the flavors and the person assisting us said they did not have spoons for tasting but on or way out the customer after us asked for a taste spoon and magically they appear and were able to try some flavors. I am a firm believer of second chance but next time I will come when they open and are fully stack to try them again. We were at the shop 30 minutes before they closed.
Dotty’s Cafe is a small creperie/desert place putting out different yummy options to satisfy sweet toothes. We went recently and here’s what we found: The setting is cute. It’s a bit small inside with roughly 3-4 tables but they have an outdoor area featuring jumbo connect four that makes up for it. The staff seemed a bit checked out when we arrived as they were busy pre closing the place. We put in our order of a Nutella crepe and sat down outside to wait. After waiting for a bit we came back in and the crepe had barely been worked on as they were still focused on cleaning. It took about 10 minutes to finish our crepe and we were the only people with an existing order. As for the crepe itself, it was very thick, chewy even. We couldn’t tell if there wasn’t a lot of Nutella because of how chewy the actual crepe was, but it’s safe to assume it wasn’t since it was all dough. Between that and waiting longer, plus the pretty obvious focus on closing up shop, this wasn’t a very enjoyable experience. There’s unfortunately not much more to say than that.
The affogato was good but they over charged, it seems they tipped themselves without asking if I wanted to leave a tip and the amount. The afogatos are $6.30 and I paid $17 flat. I don’t mind tipping but I’d like to be ask. *update: I never got an explanation to why I paid so much.

The place is cute and clean, no problem with that. The staff was polite, if a little inattentive. But my main problem was the “gelato”. I’m not sure what they serve, but I can tell you is not gelato and you can’t even call it ice cream either. The texture was very icey and the flavor was not good at all. We tried four different flavors and they all tasted freezer burnt. I think this product needs improvement since it is the main product they sell.
