They seem to be short staffed the tragedy of the Austin restaurant industry. The staff is friendly and do what they can under their circumstances so I give 5 stars. I usually get soda from the machine and its always super cool in here so it's perfect for getting out of the heat while making my heb plans.
Great service, friendly…also I left my bag with wallet and everything, had to go back (40 min drive) and it was intact. I’m super grateful to the staff that made sure no one stole it!!!
Often when I'm out running errands and know my route passes a JITB I will pick up an item or two to help stave off hunger pangs til I get home. The staff has always been courteous and friendly and the food, I mostly order off the dollar menu, is great tasting and hits the spot after a hectic day of dealing with traffic, crowds and the heat!
All my husband ever asks me to bring to Canada are egg rolls from Jack-in-the-box. This is literally one of few "American"-ish food items he eats. And this location was the ONLY one of the 3 I attempted that was open at 4:50 am despite 24-hr signs.

I went during lunch time and the workers were busy but friendly and very fast. Ordered the #8 with curly fries and got my food fast and hot and most importantly my order was right. Best Jack in the Box that I've been to in Austin.

Adriana and her other two co workers took really good care of myself and my family. The restaurant was clean and well stocked. We all ate for under $10.00 with coupons. They were really attentive to us and very nice and friendly. The food was great.

Christine took our order in the drive thru and cooked our food as well. She was extremely friendly and awesome and goated. She even gave us a heart-shaped straw. She is doing an amazing job and deserves a raise!

I just had my best Jack in the Box experience ever. The man who took my order, named Euclid, was kind, attentive, and respectful. My order came out relatively fast despite the fact it was a big order, and it seemed like he was doing everything himself. I want to give big props to that young man Euclid.
Food was delicious, the manager was amazing. I came in tonight and im sitting at my table writing this. All of the food was hot and pepared correctly. I did not have to wait long at all to get my food even nearly at midnight. They were so friendly and made me a milkshake even though they had already cleaned the machine. I WISH restaruants cared as much as the people who work here. 10/10 made my friday night in austin
Christine was so accommodating and friendly, she was sure to inform us about the cheesecake, and when we tried it while waiting on the rest of our order, she noticed and asked us what we thought! She also made sure to give us our requested sauces and even gave us some ketchup just in case. The food was fresh and hot as well. Thank you Christine!
Christine is a superb employee I had the honor of being in Christine's presence to pick up some tacos and a soda !! She was absolutely so sweet and kind!! They cook the food very fast and it gets to you fresher than chick fil a the only thing is there short staff so it might be a minute before they get to you
First time I ever ate a Jack In The Box and it was wonderful. I had their big breakfast. Two potato patties, eggs, bacon and four French toast sticks and a Coke. And let me tell you I was so full when I got done eating all that and it was very reasonable. It was under 10 bucks. The store was very clean. The people that work there were wonderful and appreciative that you were there I truly enjoyed it. I will be going back and they're right around the corner from my house. Yeehaw

I drove thru at 02:23 am after leaving the university from work expecting a normal drive thru experience. Wow, was i entirely wrong. The gentleman taking my order then serving it did such an amazing job that I had to go back thru the drive thru a 2nd time just so I could thank him for such a great experience. The kind of treatment that never really happens anymore. I was met by his aunt Alvina who thought there was a issue with my order and she was trying to correct it. When I explained there was absolutely no issue I just had to come around again to say thank you to Emilio, I believe that was her nephews name. If not I apologize but his name wasn't on the receipt just hers. I never do this type of thing because we'll service everywhere is basically meaningless nowadays. But not this time, it was perfect. Thank you both for making my night by doing it right.
I really love this Jack location!! The staff here are always nice, professional and easy to deal with. They always get my order right! I will 9 times out of 10 go to this Jack location over Wendy's, Mickey D's So glad they are still here!

I have been back twice and the tacos were hot and fresh, service was really good too.
I have always sour Jack in the Box and this location is so close to my hone I use it regularly. The location, venue, menu, service and food were all excellent today.

Ok service. They do not take cash. My drink was like $2.39. I had EXACT CHANGE. Girl said they don't take cash because of coin shortage. I AM GIVING YOU EXACT CHANGE.
Jack is Jack....lots to choose from if you want food on the go. I won't say fast but it's quicker than cooking it at home, right? Jack kinda has to cook you order since there's such a variety, which to me is ok since I want my food hot n fresh. Now my issue was I like egg/cheese only croissants and jack is running a 2 for $3 special. When the mgr rang mine up it over $6! I asked why? The mgr replied we have to ring everything in separate. I cannot u not ring them up with meat and keep it? She said yes...thank goodness, so my beef ( no pun intended) is what about giving the public the same price with or without meat. I'm not a vegetarian but I could be. Just scratching my head n saying...hmm
I go to this place often. The place is always clean, the people are always friendly, and the food is always as good as I expected to be. I love that they serve breakfast all day and I always order the supreme croissant. They're awesome.
I love this place. The burgers are delicious a little price but is ok. If you are in for a good burger this is a great place. Just be sure to be very specific on what you want in your burger. You can add almost anything for an extra charge. Is ok, is worth it. Love those burgers.
Food was good and service was fast. You can see some of the kitchen at this location, so you can obviously see the cooks too. They didn’t look super enthusiastic and looked pretty annoyed while making the food.
I used to eat at Jack in the Box 4-5 times a week, but I had to control what I was eating for my health. Jack doesn't really have good healthy options. But my wife loves their burgers so I make drive through visits regularly. The Whopper with cheese smells as good as ever. The drive through service is quick, no issues.

Good customer service! Menu board was down so we had to order at the window but it didn’t slow them down any. They were out of their drink options except Diet Coke and milkshakes but the lady let us know asap.
Normally don't have issues at this location. Since I'm a night owl, you could say I'm a frequent visitor at this location because they are the closest 24hr location to me. Tonight I didn't get 2 out of the 4 items I ordered and paid for... Yet got all the condiments for them? I should have checked before driving away but didn't as they are usually correct in my experiences and didn't notice until after driving home. I tried calling to ask about a refund or just... anything but no answer and no voicemail so unfortunately it led me to here. If it wasn't a bit of a drive- I'd just go back but a bit inconvenient.

This restaurant in Austin didn't seem to be in a safe location; we went late and the mall where this Jack in the Box is located looked very deserted; the food took a little too long to be ready so we had to wait in the front of the restaurant; like I said, it didn't look too safe. (I may be wrong, we were visiting and don't know the area, observation based on looks, not happenings).

This Jack in the Box lived up to the chain’s good reputation. The full menu being served all day was an attraction for me today. I will return to this location.
Commercials are better than the food- I don't care if they are giving them away, stay away from the tacos!!!! But- do like the changing burger specials, the grilled sourdough bread, would like breakfast served all day if the prices/ choices were better. My go to here are the eggrolls. Greasy, crispy and damn good at 3am.
Hit miss with service. The staff can come off as rude from time to time. Depending on the time...the food can be fresh and quick. Had a couple instances where i got old cold tacos...but i still ate them.

I decided to stop and get a chicken sandwich. I said hello twice in line as i attempted to place my order. I ended up having to order my sandwich at the window because no one came and took my order before i drove up to the window and what made it so bad was that the person at the window was about to give me the person's order behind me..smh.. Good customer service. Great iced coffee and quick lunch stop. Tacos were not what I was expecting. I wanted crispy tacos with lettuce and tomato. Tacos have changed to more half crispy and soggy quesadillas with no veggies.

Visited town and wanted to give them a try. The drive through wasn’t clear and my order was wrong. I ordered a Jack fan fave box and was given tender and fries instead. But the rest of order was fine. No receipt so unsure what I paid for. The soda machine was down. I asked would it be cheaper with no soda, she offered apple juice which I don’t think would have been the same price.
I went here for tmobile Tuesday. I usually don't eat here but I tried the ultimate burger. It was better than I was expecting. I went during the lunch rush and my order took a lot longer than what the app had said. Good experience overall.

Whenever I go there, I have to wait at least 2 min before someone takes my order. They all pass by and ignore you, they don't even call anyone to take your order or even acknowledge your existence. Super rude! The place is always dirty, the floors are wet with I don't know what, I would rather wet my pants than use their bathrooms, and the whole place looks like it's not kept clean enough. A lot of times, they mess up on whether you want your order as "dine-in" or "to-go" even though they ask you when you order, and when I ask for a tray when I'm instead given a bag, they act like I asked them something outrageous, never mind apologizing. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because their burgers are decent, I like their fries, they're always salty and heavenly crispy, and their tacos are a good snack. I just don't know why they became more expensive now. Better customer service will go a long way here.
Prices on drive thru menu are wrong. Price quoted is higher than menu price. Apparently manager knows and doesn't care. Employee attitude is "we are doing you a favor by being open". Please don't do me any favors with that attitude. If you have that attitude, how can we be sure you are taking the correct precautions in a time like this.
The credit card reader goes down way more than it should in the 21st century. Employees here have a really bad attitude sometimes, and other times are really nice. Order accuracy is not guaranteed to check your food. Generally to avoid late at night, as even when there's not a lot of customers, this place is not well staffed and you'll probably wish you would have went someplace else. It's a jbox. To be expected.
They have no patience when you order and always have to pull up front to wait on my order even if it’s something simple poor customer service
I have never had an issue with the food, it’s been the service. You pull up to the window and have to repeat your order multiple times, your not greeted at the window it’s a basic reach of hand for payment and handing over food. You will never know if that’s it because you don’t even get a have a good day or your good to go.
This Jack In The Box is in pretty rough shape. The dining area soda machine doesn't work and is shoved into a corner. There was trash lying on the floor in the dining area and when I walked in, there was a young lady with her head laying on the counter looking like she was nursing a hangover. I only saw two employees the entire time I was there (about 30 minutes). I realize that Austin is trying to be a 'Big City' these days and there are growing pains involved but judging from the lack of business at this particular location, I don't think the conditions mentioned above is something new.
The WORST employee customer service imaginable. I not only waited for my order to be taken at least 10 minutes. (I stayed because I needed to make a point) I was only "waited on" after tapping loudly on the counter for another 3 or 4, Screw This Place !!!! Like David said in another review, absolutely no foot traffic, only drive thru, plus, i was denied access to the restroom. Plenty of employees working. This obviously is a long standing problem, and needs greater supervision by anybody who can take the lead. $16 paid to Jack in the Box earned me the esoteric knowledge that it's gone. There is no recourse, nobody to call, the official app has no local support and there's no way to resolve issues where you pay for food but no food is made.
The food is really good here I like the location but the overnight crew has very poor customer service skills, there was only one young lady that worked overnight who had a lot of energy who came to the drive-thru window with a smile on her face. But the rest of the crew seem like they don't want to be here when you come through the drive-thru they're on their phones.
This is the absolute worst fast food restaurant in Austin. ALWAYS rude. Always out of everything. Orders consistently wrong. The same rude girl works every night. I will drive out of my way to the north burnet location before coming here again. Ugh.

I asked for an iced tea and they served me strong coffee flavored water. You could see the coffee grounds in my cup. In addition, this place is constantly claiming nothing is working and to "come back later".

SLOOOOW . If you're in a hurry, don't go here. About 6 months ago i would frequent this location, but so many of my orders were wrong, or even "forgotten" so i quit going here. Today this was my closest and fastest option, so i took a chance, and i regret it. Slow service, and wrong order again. Nothing changed. If you are trying to get somewhere on time, DO NOT STOP HERE.
Ordered thru jack mobile. Had an ID number, bank receipt with charge, and email from jack confirming the order. Yet sales associate Patty indicated that the order did not populate on the screen so refused to make order. She said the only option was to request for a refund or reorder and repay. When asked for the owners name, she refused to provide the information and asked that we wake up early to speak to someone else. Bad customer service overall. ***Update: waited in parking lot from 2:50-3:06 am to contact the bank for a reimbursement as instructed, and within minutes a vehicle approached us with high beams who refused to move from the drive thru to get us to leave the location. Employees inside restaurant left the kitchen completely to meet with individuals inside the vehicle. Restaurant dine in was closed to the public but a minor was seen peeking out from the restaurant. Will call restaurant tomorrow morning to speak to owner/manager.
Update 8/18. Just went by again. Place is still shut down but now you have a voice recording at the ordering stall that asks you if you'd like breakfast, like some kind of childish prank. And no I'm not interested in "reaching out" to some 800 number where no one has a clue what I'm talking about. I'd rather someone from HQ came down here to see for themselves what a dismal operation this location is. Waited at the drive through for several minutes - no answer from anyone then drove forward to see the place was completely dark and no one in..Last time I was here they were out of just about everything. probably the worst JiB location.
I ordered a 6 piece chicken strip meal with a sweet tea and a lot of buttermilk. What I got was a 4 piece chicken strip meal with unsweetened tea and 2 buttermilks. It’s not hard to follow instructions especially when I got charge for it. Also, there was a “please leave tip” at the window. Very unprofessional.
I ordered the sausage croissant was told there was no sausage available so I asked the lady if I could have a ham and cheese croissant instead and she said yes. I drive up to the window, I pay for my order, she hands me the bag and I drive off to work. So I'm now ready to sit down and eat my breakfast but when I open up my container it's 2 pieces of hard bread with a piece of unmelted cheese and NO ham!!! So I check the receipt and it shows that's what I ordered and was charged for is not what I'm looking at. I call the location back but to NO avail no one answers the phone. This will definitely be the last time I go to this location for a very long time if ever. Be leery of the 41st Street Hancock location.
There was no line and lady just said welcome to jack and the box and never came back i waited at that menu for 20 minutes…. So i left . also the drive thru speaker is badly damaged. More staff is needed or change. the ones there just completely ignored me even though i was the only one in the drive through this was in the middle of the day around 3 or 4pm.
I just had the longest day. Haven’t eaten anything since 7pm yesterday. I told the young cashier over and over my order. He kept getting it wrong because I asked him a question about another burger but decided on the spicy sriracha burger instead. I said it more than 3 times. He had it right on the screen. I finally get home, unload all of my items and unwrap my sandwich to discover it’s a random chicken sandwich. Something I didn’t even order. I don’t even trust the chicken sandwiches from Jack and the Box and this isn’t what I ordered. I called and called no one picked up. I’m crying because this was the last money I had and I just wanted what I ordered. I am so disappointed.

Went through the drive through for a breakfast sandwich. Get to the window and the employee repeats my order back to me, so I hand her my debit card. She starts to hand me an order that is obviously not mine. When I tell her about the mistake, she looks confused. At this point she has already charged my card $18, but my total is actually $3. She says she will refund my card and asks me to pull forward to a parking spot. After waiting for about 5 minutes, I head into the store to see what's going on. When I finally see her, she asks me to come back later to get my debit card because she doesn't have time to do the refund right then?!?! I ask for my card back and leave my name/phone number for a manager to call. All of this should have been taken care of at the window when it happened. Lack of management and training + poor judgement = this situation.
I showed up today around 8:50pm to go to the drive through. Cones were already up in the drive through and doors were locked but I saw workers inside. Google says they are open until 10pm but there are no signs posted that say what the hours are. I tried to call and ask if they were open. Someone actually answered but then when I asked the hours they acted like they couldn’t hear anyone on the phone. Pretty convenient. Terrible!
Ordered from this location TWICE through Uber Eats. They didn’t even give me the order I had requested and spent so much money on fees and waiting for my order to get here to not even be correct. I understand if the store didn’t have the items, but the fact they didn’t call or replaced it with an item that is of much lesser value is what shocks me. Will never order from this place again.
I ask for fresh tacos and potatoes and I got hard cold Old Dried Up food for the 3 rd time at the store on 41st St Hancock Center. Will not be going back. A shame I shop in that center almost every other day. No pictures I threw it all away right out side the drive in window
THE WORST SERVICE!!! They gave me the wrong burger and then looked at my stupid when I said it was the wrong one and after going back and forth I went back through the drive through and took a picture and proved her wrong.. she still refused to exchange my order and was very very rude..!!
They don't know drink sizes. They try to give me an iced coffee and a 20 oz cup full of ice when I said easy ice and I paid for a large which is 24 oz. Then she wouldn't give me my receipt. Then she closed the window on me and wouldn't talk to me anymore.
Definitely be careful ordering from the app. Their listed time closing is midnight but when I arrived to pick up my order they were closed. It was only 10:40pm. I ended up paying for something that I didn't even get. Turn off your options to order on the app if your closing early
WELL, I kept giving them the benefit of the covid doubt, but they never seem to have receipt paper when I go by. Granted, that's few and far between now in this economy, but they're needed nonetheless. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU'RE CHARGED 12.55 FOR A COMBO THAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE UNDER 8 BUCKS! I work in the area and before this became an issue I was here pretty often - 5 stars and 2 thumbs up at the time! Sadly, times have changed 😔 GREAT FOOD ALL THE WAY AROUND! And they used to have service to match it too. 😥
I was discontent with my service today. In the drive thru I honestly waited for 20 minutes just to have people honk at me, even though it was not my fault for waiting for so long. The food was not great as well. I hope management does something to fix this fine establishment. I came at around 2:00 AM, and I hope that changes will be made.
Not professional at all the lady answered a phone call at the window with me. I ask for fresh fries got wrong order of fries and came back she was getting a attitude with me when I explained to her what I told her at the window if she wasn't on the phone she could actually heard what I said that I wanted fresh fries then she slam the window close and started speaking Spanish to coworkers. Won't be back services was wrong in all ways.
The 3 times I’ve tried coming here they’ve been out of whatever it is I wanted to order. Most recently CHICKEN. They were completely out of chicken. Like what?? Lmao Who manages this place?
Placed an order for approximately $12. At the window, the man said "want to add a $2 tip to that". I politely said "no, I can't today" and he proceeded to lecture me that "you can't take it to the grave with you". I ignored his comment so he then told me "you sure about that?" I watched my food being prepared as I was then concerned he would do something to it but it seemed ok. He almost threw the sack at me and said nothing when I left.... no thanks.. no come back etc. I have gone to this location for almost 15 years but never again. Stay away, there are others nearby you can use. Sad thing is, I almost always leave a tip but not like this.
They kept saying there were no ubereats orders and then when I called into our support while I was on the phone, the 2 workers inside would cancel the orders. They did this with 3 orders from me plus, other uber drivers that were there. I was on with support when they did it a 3rd time. People who order through ubereats are your customers too. They turned away a lot of business that night.
The server Berlin acted as if he was gone pull out the blicky if I asked for another bbq sauce.

Waited in drive thru for almost 10 minutes! Circled back around and still waited om the drive thru. When I Circled around seen two women chit chatting through the lobby windows. Unprofessional.
The price on the outside and inside menus don't match what's programmed in the register. I was over charged for a cheese burger by over $1.00. I wonder how many people are overcharged and don't know it. Also, they barely speak English. It took about 10 minutes to get them to understand the problem and correct it. Never going back to this one. Btw, Mighty Fine has a MUCH BETTER burger for the SAME PRICE as that smashed jack.
The MOST DISGUSTING JACK IN THE BOX. The workers are either starting fires behind the restaurant (burn marks visible from drive thru), or they somehow end up flooding the restaurant. The food has never tasted right. Save yourself the time and go to literally any other Jack in the Box
Worst jack in the box ever!! First of all, thank you to all essential workers that make fast food possible during this pandemic. However, I do have to express how unsatisfied I have been with this jack in the box location. It’s been numerous occasions in which they “forget” to put all my food in my bag. It’s annoying to get home and not have all the food you paid for. I don’t expect much customer service from fast food, but this restaurant really does know how to push my buttons. Today, they failed to give me all of my foo, again, and still didn’t believe me when I drove back from my house to claim my food. They I said I could come in the morning to talk to a manager about my experience instead of just giving me my food. Management, if you read this, please do something about your restaurant. It’s always the same issues.
Had the very Same issue tonight as another person had posted 3 weeks earlier; ordering through Delivery app and the store was Closed at 11:10pm. (Their posted hours state open till midnight) this also seems to be a Regular issue based on other’s reviews, and not just a random one-off experience. However I am not the person ordering food, but the one who was supposed to deliver it via app. Cost me $17 I would have earned and effort spent biking two miles to the restaurant. Update: States open 24-hours, but definitely is Not after midnight, no one at all present at the store on 5/8/21
****UPDATE **** 04/27 - After the owner commented I thought I’d give them another try, but apparently this has not been addressed with the staff. Today the lady didn’t say the machine wasn’t working, she flat out told me they didn’t serve shakes at this location. Shameless. Why have shakes in the menu if the ice cream machine is always broken????
This "food" is overpriced tiny and dripping with Greece. On up side no one is ever in line down side it'll take about 30mins to get served. Just to night I went to a jack box and lady would talk to me for 20mins every time I said hi or hello anyone there she'll reply ok just wait. When she got done talking to her friends, because I could here them. She said ok move to the next window. I replied I haven't ordered yet. Again she repeated next window. Long story short they caused a large line for nothing. I'm kinda thankfull that I never got anything. All the food ever got there has been GD pile of garbage.
The manager was confrontational when asked to correct an order and he placed his fingers all in our food pulling out each individual item saying here's the lettuce here's the tomato here's the chicken with an iron that made me want to pull him through the window for disrespecting me and my wife. That manager needs to get fired immediately! I did not like the vibe or the energy of that place. Do not visit this restaurant!
Not sure if they just got hired yesterday or what but they are dumb slow. Was in line for 20 mins and the only thing I got was my drink. Would never come here again. Should’ve read the reviews first. Then the lady gone lie about having a peach Minute Maid light all because she couldn’t find it on the screen. Should’ve just asked someone. Yeah, never again.
A letter to Jack, You're cooked. It's over bro. $3.49 for a small drink? $5 for some kiddie chicken tendies?! You really are a clown. I waited at this location for 1 ham breakfast Jack... Btw used to cost like $1, now it's $3.78. *honk honk* The time I waited in the drive-thru, I ACTUALLY LOST MONEY, I could have been at work making overtime money. In total, Jack, you owe me for spending $4 on a breakfast Jack and losing out on overtime pay totaling $9.94 for 15 min of my time. I want my $13 Jack. Bring back the old Jack.

Angelica was our registered staff. She was rude she grabbed the money when we paid roughly. We sat down to eat when another customer threw up on the floor. I got up and informed Angelica and she said they we're too busy. I could not eat my food knowing that was on the floor then she sent a young male worker to put a wet sign on the vomit 🤢. When I asked for her name she told me to have a blessed day sarcastically. I go to this Jack in the box often and the Manager is so friendly and makes sure the restaurant is very clean. She was not there unfortunately.😕
I have been sitting in this drive through for 45 minutes and havent even made it to the window absolutely the worst service I've ever received

A fundamental operational failure resulted in a 15-minute service delay, which directly impacted my schedule, despite a complete lack of foot traffic. A key customer amenity the restroom was denied to me as a paying customer. Furthermore, the deliberate decision to cover all outlets created a hostile environment, culminating in staff threatening to call law enforcement and demanding my departure. This entire customer engagement appears to be rooted in discriminatory practices, as the hostility was based solely on my appearance.
Previously a friend of mine was told they weren't hiring even though there were signs on the building suggesting otherwise so you can imagine my shock when I went there yesterday to find the the drive thru full of cars , the guy at the window said he was by himself which made no sense because the manager said they had a full staff, it took forever to get my food that I ordered online and when I got it It was cold and I was missing my mini churros. And just now when I called them someone hung up on me because I asked to speak to a manager it was a horrible experience and I'm never going back!!!!
I order 4 different meals via drive-thru, but found out I got 3 meals only when I got home! I got 4 drinks so I thought I got what I ordered when I was there. So I drove back, waited another 10 min to get my missing items. Wasted my time and gasoline!⛽️ What’s more? After I returned home, my buttery Jack burger became a Junior burger!!!! I called back and the staff who picked up the phone said she is sorry and asked us to go back to get the correct one. We refused to go back again, she said she will give us another one…
If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the 3rd night I have driven here only to find the doors locked, people inside, and barricades in front of the drive thru. They won't answer the phone even though their website clearly states they are open. There's an option for delivery, but last time I placed an order I was told the store was closed and I would have to call them during the day to get my money back.... still waiting on that too.
