We had our wedding welcome party at Pinthouse Brewing on South Lamar and it was the perfect location for it! We rented the upstairs space that had its own bar, seating, and a view that overlooked both the downstairs section and part of the brewery. Throughout the event, we had our own bartenders upstairs that could serve drinks as well as a buffet made by Pinthouse for the event–each and every one of our guests raved about the food and beer! Leading up to the event, Stephanie was immensely helpful in answering our questions and getting us through the paperwork. She very kindly responded to our often extensive emails and talked with us on the phone whenever we needed additional clarification. The night of the event went off without a hitch thanks to the team there and we are very grateful to them for helping us put on such a fun night. We would highly recommend this Pinthouse for events!

This place was the perfect spot to go out casually and meet with friends. Easy service, open seating, dogs allowed outside, Great Pizza, amazing Ranch sauce, and of course amazing Beer. Parking was free and easy There were a couple Christmas parties happening when there, but overall still easy to find parking and a seat inside Excited for a new easy spot to go out too I got a growler to-go — Electric Jellyfish all day

I love Pinthouse beer and going to the brewery only made my feelings for the beverages even stronger. I’m usually skeptical of brewery food but this was above all expectations and very impressive. Pretzel was amazing and came with cheese awesome sauce. Chips and dip were great snack to eat with the beer. The space is very beautiful and airy. I like the toast ordering system which is fast and efficient!

Great atmosphere, just relax and enjoy a meal after a hard day's work with cool beer and pizza, with dough similar to that of focaccia bread with perfectly toasted bottom that gives it a crunchy bite then airy, fluffy interior. A pizza can feed two, by the way. Highly recommended, would come back again.

Very nice open space with lots of seating, great for big groups. Nice beer selection & brewery experience. Delicious food, we tried as much as our bellies could take & still had leftovers which of course we ate because it was all so good. The fish dip, charcuterie, & onion pizza were our group's favs. Soft pretzel was standard & filling. Would love to go back during an event. Burger got a good review from my cousin who ordered it 👍

Love the order-from-the table-on-your-phone format!!! Everything comes out so quick! The beer selection is amazing and the food was even better. Or maybe I mean that the other way around. Everything was awesome. They had an awesome live band the day we came. Bathrooms are clean and the staff and very helpful

This pinthouse is a little different from the rest. The menu has a lot more to offer than just the pizzerias. When I came here it was a little unassuming but once you go inside you can see the fermenters and a large open area for seating. I got the smash burger with chips and I would say it's really good. Of course they have award-winning beer so there's not much more to say there.

Same Pinthouse beer as most other locations - always excellent. Limited edition bottles and cans may be easier to find here than further north. Different layout and atmosphere. Airy, open, and freshly renovated space, including covered room for artist/craft markets. Super accessible to the airport (about 5 minutes without traffic). Cool!

More upscale than I usually like in breweries, but the quality if the beer more than makes up for it. Awesome building and the five beers I tried were all outstanding! I would highly recommend this place to all craft beer lovers.

This place makes up for all the other PHP locations. I have been waiting two years for this to open and it did not disappoint. The remodel is very fancy, and doesn’t even seem like a brewery but it works well. The beer is top notch with a wide variety and spectrum of beer styles. I expect it to become even better when it is fine tuned. The hazy and wet hop beers were top notch, as expected. The staff was super friendly and helpful and nice. They even gave me a discount on my next order.

Brunch couldn't get any better than a beer cocktail, a live band playing, and a spectacular sandwich. The dining areas are spacious both inside and in the covered outdoor room. Dogs seemed as excited as their humans too. I need to give a grand high five for the breads, probably the best breads I had at a restaurant in a long time! I will figure out how to dine in the round hammock next time, because there will be a next visit.

Took my Chicago family here the day after our wedding and these deep dish lovers enjoyed the Detroit style! Great atmosphere for a group and dogs! Plus they have non-alcoholic beer options too!

Did a tour with my coworkers from Pour House Pints and Pies today. Evan, our host, was wonderful; informative and personal, and absolutely added to our enjoyment. The facility is welcoming, & comfortable, and the brewing facilities ate clean & well maintained. We were offered food at the end of our tour and it was all delicious! I recommend this as a great choice for any fay or night! Thank you, Pinthouse for a lovely experience.

All-around-awesome! I stopped by for a couple of brews and bites with a friend. We needed a place that was dog friendly and Pinthouse met that prerequisite. The Jellyfish beer was great. The butchers board was lovely and the BLT salad was superb. The covered, oudoor seating was pleasant; even with the crazy heat that we've been having. This is a great, Austiny spot to frequent.

Awesome electric jellyfish! The place is huge with private parking. Tried a lot of food options and liked their fresh and crispy chips with onion dip, hippie burger, mushroom man pizza and the fries. Fugazza was okay. Boiled peanuts were good but could be a little less salty.

Every time I come here the pizza just keeps getting better and better, great sourdough crust and topping options! We also tried the pickled egg (which they pre-sliced, comes with homemade cheese crackers, and a tasty jam/mostarda) and Italian grinder sandwich…all so good! We didn’t get beer this time but always love the electric jellyfish, and it’s dog friendly!

Jellyfish! That’s starts the review with their star hazy that we all love. The brewery itself is awesome. They’ve got a great atmosphere, clean and welcoming facilities. They have a great selection of beers served by some really cool staff. The food is awesome - if you like thick heavy pizza, they crush it! The wings are good and the smashburger was incredible. Pinthouse Brewing has become one of my favorite spots in Austin, and it’s where we (Motive Training ATX) host our KINSTRETCH events thanks to Stephanie. The atmosphere is easy-going and welcoming, with plenty of space and good energy. The food is reliably solid and the drinks are even better. Great Detroit style pizza in a relaxed casual atmosphere in South Austin. Great stop to or from the airport. They tend to skew heavily towards IPA, so if you are over IPA, like me, there are fewer brew options

Amazing place and amazing people. We came to charge at the Tesla charging spot and didn't realize it was closing, but they were still nice enough to let us order take out two minutes before closing. The food was really good. We got the fried chicken sandwich and the shrimp poboy. The drinks are great! We had the Electric Jellyfish IPA. Would recommend coming here 100%

Great place to stop by for a beer! We really liked all the beers we had, selection is really good. And the food is also tasty! The burgers are huge, we didn't have the pizza this time, but the wings and the croissant were delicious, and good portions for 1 person. The service was super friendly, they kept checking on us, asked if everything was okay, they did try to make our experience as comfortable as possible. There is a time between brunch and lunch (3-4pm) in which there is no food service while they prepare for the rest of the day. Just keep that in mind (: The seating space indoors has enough tables, it's a bit smaller than the terrace so when we got there it was full. The terrace is really nice, pretty, comfortable, has a lot of seating options. But the only thing is, and I don't think this is up to the brewery to be honest, I mean the Austin heat makes it VERY uncomfortable to sit there at noon, no fans can fix it, definitely recommend seating outdoors during the evening or night and probably not on a summer day. They do accept dogs outdoors! That's why we had to sit outside, but next time, I would probably leave my dog at home and sit inside.

This was our first time coming to any brewery. We're visiting from Houston. I saw this amazing pizza on tiktok and made it a point to stop by and try it out! This place is awesome. I am not a beer drinker, but I can appreciate a cold one from time to time. This place didn't disappoint! I ordered a flight and The OG pizza! I dont have all the words to explain how good this place was. Friendly staff, fast service, chill vibes! The brewery in the back drop, adds a visual aesthetic to the environment. The only regret is I didn't buy a couple of 6pks to take home! I a. Planning a trip specifically for that! It was a wonderful experience, and I can't wait to come back!

An absolute Austin treasure! A huge beer list of top tier beers that have their heavy hitters (electric jellyfish and training bines), often include fun collabs like double down and have seasonal brews like nomura. Top 5 IPA spots in the US IMO. Consistent, and packed with next level flavors and profiles. The food here is my favorite of all locations as well. Call me crazy, but I prefer the sourdough pizzas. They are thicker dough and more filling. It's unique and I love it. The OG is amazing and the chicken sandwich is also top level. Sure, it's not cheap, but in 2025 in Austin you get what you pay for. This place is 100% worth it. Only con... they could use more parking.

Delicious pizza and apps. The potatoes chips are so thin and crispy!!! The dip that went with them was amazing. The vegetables and hummus was so fresh and cold, prefect for a warm summers night! The pesto pizza was so good and I loved the crispy cheese on the edges. Also enjoyed the live music and beautiful patio!

Visiting friends in the Austin area and they took us to Pinthouse for drinks and dinner. The blackberry seltzer (not a house brand) was really light and refreshing. The outdoor area was open with lots of fans and seating options. The real star of the meal was the Mushroom man pizza! The goat cheese and pesto came together so nicely, I couldn’t stop eating it. Definitely recommend!

Great pizza--here it's a little different than at the Burnett location--better, more airy and crisp--just delicious. The nito Irish stout was really great, and of course the Electric Jellyfish IPA is my favorite. The location is larger than expected--the outdoor seating is covered and there are fans and heaters everywhere for summer/winter. Dogs are allowed outside, but it almost feels indoors since things are covered--great setup for winter, and guaranteed shade for summer. We sat in a nook that had several flat screens with sports on over a shuffleboard table. Lots of greenery everywhere, which is really nice. 5 stars for atmosphere no doubt. Same fir food and service...the QR code at each table let's you order on your own without closing your tab each time and the beer arrives fast! We'll be back for sure.

Stopped in on our way to the airport and was very surprised by this place. It is really a cool place. It reminded me of some of the cool patio spaces in LA, but on a huge scale in the covered outdoor space. On the inside is a similar vibe, but clean, modern and with view of the brew tanks. This was all before we tasted any of their numerous beers or food. Coming from the Seattle area we have our incredible beers, with local ingredients, including the huge hop crops just a few hours away. We didn't think we'd get anything that compares. Boy we're we wrong! We tasted close to half the lineup and loved them all. The food was very good too, BTW. And the staff were all super knowledgeable and very friendly. Shout out to Cotton and Juice! And thanks Evan for the time you took to sit and chat with us. Go, check this place, or one of their other 3 locations out. We'll worth it. Even overhead another group who weren't from the area talking about how good the beers were and wished they could stay, hang out longer for more of their beers! Says it all.

This Brewery is pretty awesome! The beers are great and the food is amazing! Try the Moonshot pizza! It will not disappoint! The staff is friendly! Just get here early if you want a spot inside. If not you have to sit outside and it's to chilly right now for that. I highly recommend this spot and I will definitely be back.

Good spot. The interior design is really dope looking. The food, while basic, is well made, fresh, and just enough flare to find appreciation in its offerings. As for the beer, nothing out of the ordinary in my opinion, as the beer selections didn't appear to be ground breaking in any way. And while I'm no beer aficionado, I can say the selections at least taste on par with what I had from other breweries. Certainly worth your time and money to check this spot out.

What an amazing experience we had. Getting the opportunity for a tour and watching a game while indulging in the "OG" syle pizza was the best experience! They have it all! We held an event in their Brewer's Loft to celebrate the night before our son's wedding. The service, beer, food and event space were all perfect. The event manager, Stephanie was professional and extremely helpful in the planning of the evening. As a result of our fantastic evening, several of our out of town guests returned to Pinthouse for beer and meals during their Austin visit.

Convenient location off of 71/Ben White. Plenty of chargers. The restaurant service was fast and friendly. Would've loved to hang out and try a few more beers.

The best place in town for a fresh Electric Jellyfish. Their pretzels are ginormous and delicious. The stone ground mustard that’s comes with them is amazing and horseradishy. Be sure to come during HH for a discount on beers and that pretzel! They have a huge, well thought indoor/outdoor space that’s perfect even on hot days; all seating is shaded.

This is a great brewery. It is a huge warehouse that is very inviting. The beers are great. They have a great food menu. We settled for the pretzel and pizza. Their pretzel is amazing! The pizza was good but a little too overdone on the outside and not enough on the inside. I’d like to try their other dishes next time. The service is great! They are very friendly! Update 11/14/25! Their Italian is the best in the city. They also changed their cook time for the pizza. It was so damn good. The crumb on the pizza was AMAZING.

Had to make a trip to South Austin, Austin Recycle and Resource Recovery, so we decided to stop for lunch. A friend told me Pinthouse's food was good, and having previously liked some of their beers, I wanted to see for myself. We ordered two of the Smash Burgers, one with fries and the other with the slaw. The burger and fries were really delicious as well as the beer. I did not try the slaw, but my wife enjoyed it, says it was good. The Beluga ale had great flavor. Fresh ingredients and great made to order food with on-site brewed beer made for an awesome lunch. My son and I also played the ring swing game for the first time, both catching a hook after a few minutes of playing. Great lunch experience, and it was cool to get to see some of the brewery.

Great atmosphere! The food is okay. While the potatoes were golden and not burned the burger was okay. I wasn't a fan of the poboy, it was very disappointing with just one sausage.

The food was pretty good, different but good. Everything was just kind of sweet. The beer was really good and the atmosphere was really cool. The servers at the bar were really friendly but ordering food was pretty inconvenient due to everything being on a QR code.

Pint house not only makes good beer, but they also have a great grub to go along with it at their location on Ben White. Airy and hip surroundings make for a great time quaffing a beer and indulging in their well rounded menu. Boiled peanuts were served warm and were tender with just the right touch of salt, pickled shrimp was tangy-delicious and the accompanying crackers were definitely house made and great, salad was possibly a tad over dressed for my liking, but my bride loved it. There is something for everyone on the food menu and the beer menu for that matter, making this a must visit!

Checked out the place for an upcoming Brewery Tour. Tried a flight of beers and an OG pizza. Service was great, and he had suggestions on what beers to try for a first-timer. The pizza was good. Different in that was on a foccacia type of bread, not a traditional crust. If you can get past that, the taste was excellent.

Pinthouse is cool, the beers are top 5 in the city, and I guess you could consider me an OG, but why the heck does the BREWING location have less beers on tap than any other location? Seems backwards. Also, eggs for an appetizer is about as boring as you can get for brewpub food .. a little more creativity here could go a long way. The Italian sando is solid, though, and the smashburger is one of the better ones in town.

The pizza has been great the time we took it home, eating it in the second go around was not the same but overall it is a great pizza and their other options seemed nice. The beer selection was nice and they have a great place to enjoy your time!

Beers good... food looked better than it was. The chip and dip was a bit sweet. Not what I expected. The pizza looked really good, but we didn't enjoy it all that much. We had beer flights and sampled at least 8 different beers, and like almost all of them. Stuck mostly to IPAs, but I had an Amber that I really liked. I would likely try a different brewery next time since there are many to choose from.

The place is great. Great beer selections, enjoyed the food. I did not like the app ordering when wanting to customize. People and the atmosphere was fun and enjoyable.

The bartender was very informative and had me test a few beers before deciding which one to get. The food was ok but not special, it’s a brewery in the end.

Our friend picked up the food so I can't speak to the wait time so the rating is purely based on the food. The O.G. Sourdough Pizza ($21.50) + Vegan Cheese ($5): Charred Ezzo pepperoni, spicy red sauce, house blend cheese, basil, spicy honey, and ricotta. This was delicious! I loved the crispy crust and the well-balanced flavors. I can see why it's a fan favorite. Moonshot Sourdough Pizza ($23.50): Spicy Italian sausage, charred Ezzo pepperoni, fennel Tuscano salami, spicy red sauce, house blend cheese, shaved speck, and dried herb blend. This was good but didn't quite live up to the O.G. The flavors were a bit more homogenous. Deviled Eggs ($12): Came with 6 pickled eggs, hot pickle aioli, apricot mostarda, Creole crackers, and chives. I wasn't a fan of the pickled egg taste, but everything else about the dish was good.

Absolutely delicious both the Austin hot chicken sandwich and the wagyu smash burger. The fries were nice and crisp and very well seasoned. Good portions at good prices. No comment on the beer cause obviously it's pinthouse so that's a given. 8.5/10

The food took almost 30 minutes to arrive. They ran out of pizza, which was disappointing since it’s a specialty. The Cajun wings lacked flavor, but the burger and beer were delicious. Service was okay, but could have been better.

Had a great burger and beer. Building layout and atmosphere is nice. I’m fine with dogs being allowed at bars and restaurants in Austin, but a dog allowed to bark constantly totally ruins a good time.

I went with my boyfriend around 1130 on a Sunday. I ordered the og pizza and he ordered a burger. His burger came out lukewarm and the fries tasted old. My pizza came out after his burger and it was room temp at best. I understand the ricotta was cold but the overall pizza was nowhere near hot. Weird how the food was not hot seeing as we got there only a little after they Opened. The flavors of the pizza did not mix well in my opinion. There was no spicy sauce so the pizza was overly sweet. The customer service was excellent but that did not make up for the bad food. I read the reviews before going and in my opinion, the higher ratings must be from people that had a beer or two before eating. Definitely won't be back again.

I would have loved to give more stars but when you arrive at your scheduled time to pickup an order and have to wait another 45 minutes to get it, that is simply unacceptable. If you can’t handle the volume, stop taking orders. OR, provide a later pickup time. Unfortunately this experience left a bad taste in our mouths. No pizza on earth should take 65 minutes to bake. Staff was not even remotely apologetic. Had a “too bad so sad” kind of attitude.

It’s July 2025. What happened to your Shrooming Goat Gouten Free Pizza? It’s terrible, the crust is like a big round chip it is so hard you can’t bite into it without feeling the bite in your entire head 🤣. The other change, there’s no olive oil in the pizza, now they put LOW GRADE mozzarella cheese—HORRIBLE. One is lucky if one finds more than 7 pieces of Mushroom in one’s pie… It is ridiculous to pay so much money for this pizza.
