Ce que disent les clients de Thai Spice
Thai Spice is a popular spot known for its delicious Thai food and generous portions. Standout dishes include Pad Thai, crab fried rice, and tom yum soup. Service can be inconsistent, but the food quality generally compensates. Some customers have reported issues with delivery orders.

Tip: Lunch specials are a great value with generous portions. If ordering salad to go, ask for the hot meat and dressing on the side to avoid a soggy salad.

This is our go to restaurant whenever we stay in Bee Cave. We’ve been to Bee Cave three times and stayed at the hotel across the street and have returned here EVERY time even though we were just here two days ago 🥲 I highly recommend the pad thai! I came in 10min before they close at 9pm but they still allowed me to sit and eat in the dining room. Dining room is open until 9p and they’re open for to go orders until 10p! Love these ladies! Hot fresh food, amazing service, clean restrooms, they got it all y’all ♥️
Came here for my kids 16th bday party w a group of 12. The reservation process could be easier (only allows to make reservations for up to 6 so had to do it twice but it’s fast so no big deal). The food and atmosphere were both exceptional. The prices and portions are more than fair. It’s hard to go wrong with GOOD Thai food. W that being said there are plenty of “Thai” places out there that taste like it came out of the frozen food section. This is not one of them. The ingredients were obviously fresh and everything was cooked perfectly. Presentation was great. Service was exceptional. We will be back for sure.
Love this place! One of my frequent stops in Lakeway. Great service and food is always good. They have a great lunch special as well.
The lunch specials are fantastic! For only 14 to 15 dollars, it's like your own little buffet! The salad dressing is so good. The soup is full of flavor. You also get a lumpia or eggroll thingy. Then a generous entrée! We've tried their Ginger Pork, Massaman Curry, Garlic Chicken, and Cashew Chicken. We would get every one again except the Ginger Pork. So delicious! Clean. Friendly service. Great atmosphere! We loved it!
As LW area residents for 27+ years, we've been Thai Spice almost-regulars since they originally opened here. With the usual up and down of restaurants, COVID, etc., Thai Spice could be counted on for good food and servie. Over the years, our Take Out list had steadily depended upon them. Behold, suddenly realizing we are empty nesters and do not enjoy the dirty dishes, we opted to go back to restaurant eating there. It did NOT disappoint. With prompt, steady service, two servers tended to table of two (lol). And our appetizer cheese rolls came out seconds from the fryer, as were were starving. Dinner came promptly on it's heels when the plate emptied, with BBQ Pork Fried Rice and Chicken Pad Thai. Normally we are all over the place with our menu, but their being just *us*, we chose what we would share. The food was piping hot, again, so fresh and delicious. The veggies maintained their delightful crunchiness as well as the pork was amazing. The Pad Thai is the old faithful, hot, fresh, beautifully arrayed on the plate slightly separating the peanuts and lime instead of our old "jumble" coming from take out. The portions were perfect. SERVICE - Our table always got cleaned, utensils replaced, beverages refilled and offers of help/answers to questions. Plus, plus, plus. Then they were wonderful upon helping us check out and box up the minimal remains... If any complaints, is that all we said to each other is that this was "good" as we inhaled our piping hot fresh food. I guess that's what older people date night is. But while my extended family history had a crew of complainers, we had ZERO to complain about. It wasn't too busy (just after 5 pm, lol!) on a Saturday night, but the Take Out Table was so full, per usual. Take some time and go out to eat at Thai Spice again. The atmosphere is great, the staff and chefs are awesome and the food simply amazing. I've got Crab Fried Rice, Appetizer Sampler, some yummy curries and shrimp dishes on my agenda for the next times. May be sooner rather than later, too.
After reading so many mixed reviews, I was honestly hesitant to try this place—but wow, I am SO glad we did! Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and absolutely bursting with flavor. Every bite was better than the last. The quality was top-notch, the portions were generous, and the prices were more than fair for what we got. The staff was also super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes—this place has officially earned a spot in our regular rotation! We forgot to take a photo of the Tom Kha Soup with Shrimp because it was SO delicious! Highly recommend giving it a try if you’re on the fence. You might just find your new go-to Thai spot!
We’ve ordered take away from here a few times and decided to eat in person for a weeknight dinner. Food here is very tasty and ample portion sizes. The Thai iced tea is a little too strong for my liking but I absolutely enjoyed it after the gave some half and half to mix into it to my preference. Food came out quick and the service was good. We got the green curry and pad kee mao, our usual and this place didn’t disappoint.
Thai Spice Restaurant one of the most amazingly best Thai food I ever had. The spice levels are up to the mark and the food is impeccable. We had the Pork Sausage Fried Rice, Crab Fried Rice, Chicken Cashew and Crispy Duck which was more than enough for 4 people. The service is excellent and quick. They would check on you and would attend to your additional requirement as well. Ambience was great as you could sit outside and enjoy the nice weather and a chat . Excellent place and good value for money. Less than USD 25/- per person spent in total for the dinner, hence this is a good place for a family or a couple to enjoy a nice dinner, with good portions. Definitely recommend this place for tourist to either have an authentic taste of Thai food or just to relax and enjoy dinner/lunch and company too...!!
I was visiting family in Austin and we have friends and family in Lakeway. They suggested Thai Spice. We went and had a wonderful experience. Food was excellent, great portions, and our server as well as food runners were professional, charismatic, and helpful. Place was very neat and clean. Only minor point was three of the four members of our party received their meals 7-8 minutes before the last person, so we waited awhile with food in front of us to eat for the last person’s meal. But they apologized profusely and recognized the error. Otherwise it was excellent and I highly recommend!
Food was decent, service was so bad, took over 40 mins for relatively simple orders to come out on a not super busy night, didn’t check on us or provide any updates when we asked the first server.
I visited this place twice, first everything was great! Liked the food. Second time I am not sure if they changed the chef or waitress was new, they gave meat dumplings when I had ordered vegetarian dumplings . After that I was scared to eat anything .. ofcourse they gave nice free drink on occassion of mother's day! So I request the management to take care not to do such blunders and be sensitive to people with different eating habits.. I liked the veg soup a lot..
We had yum nur, Tom yum, tiger cried and pineapple fried rice. Pineapple fried rice was the best - had pineapple, cashew, dried cranberry and slices of chicken - the sweetness and sourness was well balanced. Portion size was quite big we couldn’t finish all but everything was just great with the right sourness and spiciness. Won’t recommend tiger cried it’s overcooked - the mushroom bell pepper and the beef. It was really bland and even with the dipping sauce which was tangy sour it didn’t make this dish more edible.
not to mention this place is overpriced, their customer service is terrible. we ordered the sample, that comes with pork n veg spring rolls ( the menu says cheese rolls, egg rolls), and surprisingly they cook both them in same oil. When asked the girl was in complete denial, once explained several times, asked to see her manager, she said manager is off and walked away. The other girl came n took the check. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Normally love this place. I ordered a salad to go, it came warm and soggy. If you are ordering a salad ask for the hot meat on the side along with the dressing. I'm pregnant and was looking forward to a fresh crunchy salad and now I’m crying over slop.
I usually love their food and service but that didn’t happen today. Ordered a delivery through Uber and got multiple egg shells all over my pad see ewe. And had some burnt/moldy noodles. I tried contacting Uber support they said they can’t help me so I called the restaurant and they were not willing to help either because I ordered through Uber. Don’t really understand how it’s my fault, I was told that since Uber pays them then Uber should help me, but Uber won’t help me and they already got money either way so I don’t get this. How is it okay to serve food with so many egg shells?
