Food and service were exceptional! Our waitress, Sue, was a gem. Pretzels are a must try. Best I ever had!

Consistent and delicious! Love the açaí bowl. We stay at Icona and love the convenience of coming here for breakfast. Amazing staff.

Nice looking place with plenty of room to spread out and eat your food. The seats are cushioned and comfortable. The bar seats 8 on the inside and you can watch sports while you are here. The menu has alot to choose from. There is free parking outside and handicap accessable. The hotel and beach are right outside the door.

Great cocktails, food, and service. They have an excellent house made veggie burger that they said is vegan, a rarity in Avalon! Vegans - check with them on the bun tho; wasn't sure about this one. The huge soft pretzel appetizer was amazing.

My Grammy and I had a great dinner tonight at the Avalon Brew Pub! It’s Super Bowl Sunday so we sported our Eagles green but got gifted awesome shirts to wear too!! Sue was our waitress and she was fabulous! Go Eagles!!

Has a limited food menu, but every item is cooked to perfection. Great beer selection, along with wine and cocktails. Has a bar, and on site parking.

Best soft pretzel I have ever had! The brownie sundae was amazing too!

The food, atmosphere and staff are amazing! I had an experience I never want to relive but the staff was incredible. I choked. My husband saved my life performing the Heimlich. The staff was so professional, our waitress Meghan was so kind. They comped our meal. The GM called me the day after to see how I was feeling I cannot say enough about this establishment.

Awesome local spot. Good portions and flavorful food! Beet salad and fish and chips were our highlights. Fun craft beer and cocktails. Our server Sue was amazing! So thoughtful and knowledgeable!

Julie was our server. She was wonderful! We ordered the tomato buratta appetizer it was fantastic! Highly recommend. We also ordered the Avalon burger and the chicken sandwich both were fantastic! Looking forward to going back

The service and food were both very good and everything was quick and efficient. Our bartender Nick was friendly and greeted us as soon as we sat down. The fish and chips were crispy and fresh. The fish tacos were seasoned well even though I would’ve preferred fried fish on them. It felt a bit pricy but perhaps that’s just food costs now. The atmosphere was nice and it was easy to get a seat.

I was surprised at how great the food was. I had a prime rib sandwich that was to kill for. The mixed drinks were fantastic as well and great selection. Definitely ask to taste one of the craft beers before you try because some of them are real unique. We had 2 young children in our group and the servers were understanding and respectful when the kids patience wore thin. Definitely a must visit on the 7 mile island.

Great microbrewery. They have a variety of beer to cater to any taste including gluten free. The waitress was helpful in getting information about their gluten free offerings. I enjoyed my fish tacos which were gluten free. The helpings were generous with a nice kids menu. Even though I couldn't eat the chocolate lava cake, my dinner companions had it. It was large with two scoops of vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream.

OK so I'm revising an earlier one star review from a couple of years ago and changing it to 5 star again. Things have really improved here and the food we've had on two visits in the past few weeks was very good - a couple of items were a little inconsistent so I would probably lean toward 4.5 stars if that was an option, but the food overall has been very good this year. Also, the service is generally excellent and very friendly. In particular, our server Mack was great for breakfast - and there was a girl from Lithuania cleaning tables who was also very friendly (apologies that I forgot her name). We have a house across the street and are really happy that the food is very good again because it's got a decent variety to choose from and is convenient. Thank you for the improvements in food and the excellent service!!

Our first time here after hearing good things about this place. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. The disco fries are awesome and the Beers are solid. Excellent and friendly servers all around. Nice atmosphere. Great place to visit at the shore.

We visited last week with my family I got the chicken sandwich it’s absolutely to die for!!! Mussels are fantastic cheesecake goblet and cookie is mouth watering definitely a shareable dessert. My kids got the Mac and cheese it’s home made not some Kraft crap so delicious my husband got the mahi mahi tacos he really enjoyed it. Our server jade was great definitely worth the visit if you’re in town. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic experience at the Avalon Brew Pub. From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly by the hostess, Erin. We were seated right away and the service throughout the evening was just as impressive. Our server was attentive and the food delicious! Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit! We’ll definitely be back!

Food was great, just like last year. Couple of servers didn't seem too happy, though. Our server was very friendly, but by his own admission, not the brightest. We had to practically beg to have our table cleaned before dessert came. Speaking of, $15 for a slice of cake is a problem. The desserts were good but way over priced, $12 to $15 if memory serves. I had better cake at a diner for $4.50 two weeks later. I'm not expecting prices that low at a restaurant, granted, but cap it at 8 or 9 bucks like most places. I should stress that the restaurant itself is really nice and the burgers and salads were excellent.

I enjoyed my time here, we walked in with no reservations closer to the end of the night with no issues. We asked if there was outdoor seating, and again no issues there. I think overall service and atmosphere were very well, the food was a little closer to the mediocre side. However, I would recommend to a friend.

It was Family friendly so definitely a bonus for us with 3 kids. They were out of the gluten free pizza crust which was disappointing but we worked around it. The beer flight was great, the atmosphere nice and Tim said hello to everyone. He was very welcoming.

Enjoyed the location very close to the beach outdoor venue on the sands. Also a huge indoor restaurant nicely decorated. Beer was good, the grilled chicken sandwich was huge but a bit dry.

Came in on a Tuesday night. Half the tables were full, and the hostess asks us if we have reservations. We apologized and said that we were staying at the hotel and just stopped by, not realizing we would need them. Asked if we needed reservations to be seated and were told "some nights you do, some nights you don't", with a shrug. Hostess was able to seat us pretty quickly, despite the confusion (?), and we ended up having a great time. Giant pretzel was delicious (forgot to take a picture until halfway through)- would highly recommend. Also had hummus, which was just okay, key lime pie, mile high mousse cheesecake, and beers, all of which were very good.

We had the brew pub cheese steak and fried chicken sandwich. The fries that came on the side were delicious, some of the best we've had in a while. But the sandwiches left a lot to be desired. The short rib used for the cheese steak was under seasoned. It also appeared to be reheated via deep fryer and was so soaked with grease that the bottom bun just oozed. The fried chicken was also under seasoned and only had a very thin coating of breading. Again, dripping with too much grease. A little disappointed since so many have enjoyed the food. Service was great, and a beautiful place. Would probably only come back for beer.

Have always enjoyed the food and service at the pub. Would like to see a change in menu though to bring more variety and lighter fare. More than a single soup would be great, more salad variety and lighter handhelds - grilled chicken, vegetable and shrimp salad for example. Always enjoyed their NE Clam Chowder and beer cheese soup over the years and adding summer soups would be enjoyable.

Their wings were good. So we're the fish tacos and the brownie sundae 👍🏼. Though the pasta on the kids menu was a little dry. I also ordered a drink and they charged two more dollars for rocks.

Good service, good atmosphere and the food was fine. However, we were there three times and at every meal especially the prime rib dinner.....the food was served on ice cold plates. This kind of wrecked it as It didn't stand a chance of staying warm.

We vacation in Avalon every year and we’re excited to give this spot a go this year… The chairs are so comfortable and our food was tasty, but honestly the staff didn’t acknowledge 2 things we ordered and so many flies were around us inside while we tried to eat that it really took us out of it.

Don’t order shrimp and scallops unless you want a big bowl of pasta and no fish! Disappointing to say the least! Not the same food as last year. The price of pasta $36. Order an espresso martini delish.

Rarely do I post about a negative experience in a restaurant as I’ve worked as a server for years and am pretty forgiving. In this case, we were just very disappointed. Positives: The host was wonderful. She communicated well and got us in during a busy time. Nice selection of beer. Burger was good. Negatives: Sat with no service for over fifteen minutes. Notified the host. She apologized and a waitress took our drink and app order. Waited twenty minutes no drinks. Apps arrived first. Had to point this out to get our drinks. Ordered the scallops with mushroom risotto…arrived looking like it was previously digested. Bland and just awful. Both my daughter and I only ate the scallops. Waitress never checked on us and delivered the check for $130 without even noticing our plates were still full. Overall: Poor service. Really just bar food. Skip the entrees. Overpriced. We won’t be returning.

Very understaffed. We waited 40 minutes for a table when half the restaurant was open they just didn't have anyone to clean off the tables. Had 0 beers on draft, you're a brew pub how is that even possible? The food was mediocre at best, chicken was overcooked, dry, and super tough. Our server Rocco who was also bartending was hustling and doing his best, but we will not be back.

Made a reservation through their website and received a confirmation. Arrived 15 minutes prior. Hostess said we did not have a reservation. Place was 80% empty inside and 100% empty outside. Instead of apologizing and dealing with the issue the hostess actes like she was,doing us a favor by offering a,table "as long as you dont mind sitting outside looking directly into the setting sun" Turkey reuben was mediocre at,best. Meat tqstes old and minimal toppings. Hamburger had good flavor but very undercooked. Waitress stopped by once and not again and a different waitress prepping tables offered to refill drinks. When we left, the outside was,still 100% empty and inside still 20-25% empty

this place is like if McKinsey consultants used AI to create a “brew pub”. It reeks of corporate insincerity. Cannot believe this place has so many reviews; I suspect they are paid. Our waitress was dead in the eyes and no one seemed to care. Food was lackluster, no local seafood, just mahi mahi, sooooo Jersey Shore. You can tell this place is owned by PE.

Came during off-season, which could explain some problems and be forgiven. After ordering we received a breakfast sandwich with no egg and they forgot bacon as a side. Would of been excusable but the waitress never came back to check so I had to go to the hostess to raise the issue. Yet again no one came. Finally after being able to grab a different waiter they informed us we could get it taken off the tab. Initially we just wanted it corrected cause we were hungry but after 15 min of waiting and the waiter saying they'll just comp it we decided to go along. She then came back saying she comped the cheaper drinks and not the incorrect meals. We had to pay for the incorrect meals which cost more then the correct drinks, and no one ever cane to ask if the food was right. I'm not one to review much but to bring out the wrong food, not fix it and then charge us for it is a bit ridiculous. I look forward to your response and hope you learn something.
