Very good place. It's neat and clean. All food is fresh. They have very good pupusas and meals. Their Horchata is delicious (comes straight from El Salvador) And their staff is very friendly ! I definitely recommend this place. Great food and it's inexpensive as well! As you see in the picture, she's a happy customer !

I stumbled upon this hidden jewel when I was looking for Pupusas. The dynamic is simple: place your order and wait for 20 minutes to get your order. Once you get your order and try your food (pupusas), you will be amazed. Apart from restaurant they have a small selection of typical groceries from Central America. Definitely I will become a regular customer. Also very important: this is a cash only business.

The food is delicious, if you've never had a pupusa before I would highly recommend you come in and try it! The tamales and daily specials they have are so good and the owners are very friendly :)

Had the pupusas and they were delicious, just a little too oily, but was told it's because the cheese. Friendly service, make sure you have cash as they don't take any cards.

The pupusas here are really good, this place is a little sketch though, they’ve been there for over a year, and they still don’t have a menu. Every time I order pupusas they ask if I would like anything else,and every time I ask for a menu, but they still don’t have one, and there’s alway people in there eating other stuff. Anywho the pupusas are good....and the lady introduced me to something called atole de elote...not sure what it was but it was amazing. I would give them 5 stars if they had a menu

I have tried this place a few times now and they are really good. The pupusas are great, no lie they are some of the best i have had in new jersy in a long time. They have a whole bunch of items on the menu i have only tried a few all pretty good. The shakes are really good.The place itself is small only has about 6 or 7 small tables. The cook makes the food behind the counter which is cool because you can see what your getting. The place looks cleans, very simple decor nothing fancy. Give it a try i recommend it.

I rarely give reviews on Google but I felt the need to do so for this place. I support all latin restaurants as much as possible but had to give my opinion on this one. The popusas were ok but the reason I went to this place was for the 4.4 rating so I was expecting a better quality in restaurant, food and service. I usually go to El Salvadoreño in Elizabeth but thought I give this place a try since rating in Elizabeth was 3.8 I expected more from this place. I love El Salvadoreno's food and atmosphere. Antojitos looks like a Bodega trying to be a restaurant on the side. When we walked in, noone greeted us. We had to ask to be seated and there were only 3 customers so it wasn't busy. The menu wasn't that good. However, the popusas did seem fresh, we ordered mixed but felt it was missing the meat. We waited a bit for the food. When we asked for utensils they gave us these cheap flimsy fork and knife we barely were able to use them. So it took awhile to eat them. Don't l think I'll come back to try the rest of the menu.
