Bagel Cove Restaurant & Deli

I’ve been coming here for years! Love love love! I always stick to a coffee and share a 2+2+2 with my partner. We also each get a bagel. You can’t go to Bagel Cove and not have a bagel! We usually have Awilda as our server, she’s nice and attentive.

I go here for the bagels .. not the service the service is horrible ... the everything bagels are the best I have ever had! I bring them home and with some cream cheese and green onions do it myself. And their Nova is good too.

Stopped in for the first time, at Bagel cove Deli Figured why not try a bagel deli while in town and see how the place would stand up to a New York bagel. I had the egg and cheese on a onion bagel, and potatoes on the side. Well to my surprise it passed the test. Let me add this, suggest you order chicken fingers and French Fries. Both crispy and delicious. Yes adults like chicken fingers. I know I will pass through again. Hopefully in a week Let's see if a Bacon Egg Cheese (BEC) a roll can pass the test.

I really don’t think the ratings of this place are fair… The bagels are really tasty and chewy, the servers are so friendly and comforting, and the vibes are exactly what I look for at a deli. Also if you come early you can get a coffee and any bagel with cream cheese for only $5! I can’t wait to be back!

Fantastic service, lovely counter setup with all the delicious spreads. Had a series of bagel breakfast sandwiches, with egg and cheese. We are stuffed! The portions are hearty and the food is fresh! 20/10 will be back regularly!

Longtime customer. Same amazing food, but the new management and remodel really upgraded the place. It looks great and feels fresh again. Bagel tuna melt is a must.

Went to Bagel Cove for lunch yesterday family of five. Theyve done a wonderful job with the interior design upgraded it very nicely. The food has always is on point but even better than before. Strongly recommend this Deli to all.

Place looks big an ominious, very slow service, cruel cashier and many excuses. Pankakes so so, coffee seems watered down. I now know why everyone is going to Moea!

bagel cove used to be a great place to eat the food is good but there's no consistency . It's a hit or miss kinda place. since the new renovations service has been horrible.. again the food it's not always good. pretty tasteless at time lately the service it's pretty bad waitresses rush to take your orde and getting it wrong. not visiting the aventura bagel cove ever again!!!

Only a bus person named Mose (sp?) was a recognized staff, all others seemed to be newbies. Maybe a third full, and lots of grumbling overheard from nearby tables. We soon saw for ourselves. Service and food have declined to almost unrecognizable levels. Our waitress was MIA most of the time, requests for coffee unmet, several parts of the order had to be re-requested, random unordered things brought to us, dirty mugs, and a snappy waitress who the neighboring table remarked that she seemed "angry." She did say very little and remarked without prompt that "Yes, I'm coming with your coffee. I saw you looking..." with a scowl fifteen minutes after we'd asked. That's LONG. And a weird way to address her return. A master of eye contact avoidance. Mose made half the tip this day since he took better care of us when we couldn't find our own waitress. The food? Nova Lox Benedict was a disaster. They grill the lox so that it came out like thin baked salmon on a mushy English muffin and was soaked in salt. So much for "Nova." Like eating cheap salty baked fish instead of smoked, moist lox. The bagel my wife ordered was inexplicably hollowed out (???) and the oatmeal side they were once so famous for had to be requested. It was cold. New owners can unfortunately herald the end of an era for once iconic establishments. We're saddened and looking for a new authentic breakfast deli for when we're near the beaches or out east at all.

Went there presumably the “best bagel in south florida”. Found an ok bagel priced like it’s served with caviar. Extremely overpriced and not impressive at all. Service was very mediocre.

I had to order a second breakfast because the corned beef hash my first choice was cheap canned corned beef with what looked like potatoes but wasn’t able to verify. Whoever deliverers their bagels is fine but the cooked meals are awful. The omelette was so dry it was void of any nutritional value. The tuna melt was all bread. Lucky for the bagel cove they have a steady customer base of the elderly that have clearly lost their taste buds. It’s sad because back in the day here in Aventura or Hallandale if you had a deli and it wasn’t to NY standards it would’ve been out of business in no time.

Horrible experience it took 25 minutes for eggs and potatoes my toast was ready after me being there for 2 minutes and my food tops an additional 23 minutes to come out and I still received the same 23 minute old toast the woman on the register was very cold and unwelcoming also.

Ordered a bagel sandwich with 2 eggs and bacon, and it was almost $11.00. I had to double check with the cashier that I hadn’t ordered a meal. I don’t think the business should be listed as 1 “$”. More like “$$$” if the rest of the menu is priced like this sandwich.

First attempt to try went so badly. We entered and waited by the hostess stand but was yelled at from across the resturant to wait at the counter as there were others ahead of us. A waitress then approached us and assumed in a loud rude tone that WE had asked to sit outside, never acknowledging the family in front of us. We hadn't asked for anything, only told to wait in that spot. She continued to address us unprofessionally. After being spoken to so poorly by 2 staff members in the span of 20 seconds, we opted not to stay. Fix your staff! We will not be back.

This deli was established in 1988 and used to be one of the better ones in Miami. However, in my opinion, the deterioration of the food quality and a terrible service have transformed it into a place not worth visiting.

I should have checked the reviews before I went. This place is not the same. MO’s bagels is so much better, plus the service is great and the employees are not rude. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but this place earned it.

Very rude staff at deli counter….ordered online to pick up on site and they did not even know about my order that had been placed 45 minutes before I got there. Tried to get answers and lady on cashier did not even look at me….AWFUL EXPERIENCE! What a shame….

I don't know about the food because I left. The staff is super rude. Speaks to you on a terrible tone during the seating experience so no point on bothering and staying. Been to much better in the area. Train your team on how to talk to guests. The lady's interactions from the get go were abrasive and rude, proceeded to excuse her behavior and continued screaming outside as we were leaving. No thanks, specially with much better similar eateries in the area

$22 bagel with cream cheese and lox! Even NYC is $14 - but wait, it didnt stop there. I asked for toasted. The guy helping me was on his earpiece the entire time in middle of a full blown conversation on his phone, so when I got home and saw the bagel not toasted, I understood I must have interrupted his important call with my order. Bagel Cove is overpriced and disappointing experience that couldnt get a simple order right.

Pretty place. Food not good at all.... we waited 30 mins for precooked bacon that was placed in a warmer. Pancakes were very dry. Pastries hard and cold. My daughter ordered an omelet.. The turkey was processed and the egg was flat she put spinach on the outside of the omelet. We had to ask several times for our items. While she helped others

I don’t know how this place stays in business. It took 30 minutes before I can even get a menu after sitting down. Not my waitress, but another waitress was extremely rude when I asked her a question. The food came out cold and undercooked. It was a disaster. I rather blow my money at dennys then on this hot garbage. Omelets, pancakes, eggs, stale bagels - I took this picture right when I got up and left

We ordered three shakshukas (two spicy, one regular). None of them were spicy, and the eggs were undercooked to the point that the dish looked completely unappetizing and tasteless. The bagels were wrong, and I had to go back and ask for the correct one. The coffee was watered down, the tea cups were tiny, and they weren’t even filled all the way. To make matters worse, we paid $68 for three tasteless shakshukas, one coffee, and one tea. Overall, the entire experience was very disappointing. Unfortunately, this place is no longer what it used to be.

On two separate occasions we’ve been charged more than the price on the menu. Brought it to the manager’s attention and was told “we changed the menu today and haven’t updated prices but will refund the difference.” Refund was never issued. Waitress was very unprofessional addressing me as boo-boo. It’s sad to see this place that used to be one of our favorites turn into what comes across as a tourist trap. Will definitely not return or recommend.
