Amazing atmosphere. Impeccable service. The drinks are vibrant, unique, and absolutely delicious. And if all that was enough, just wait until you taste. this. food. Seriously, 11Tigers is a must!
Love 11 Tigers! It's a Thai-Japanese inspired speakeasy with yummy drinks (they can make any of the cocktails mocktails for us girlies who don't drink) and delicious food. The pink panther and tiger killer are solid as mocktails. The tom yum seafood hotpot and tuna zuke are my go to apps. The crying tiger steak and tom yum fried rice are my fave entrees here. Great spot for a date, girls night, or even birthday dinner. I'll be back for sure.
11 Tigers is a fabulous speakeasy and restaurant in the East Village, showcasing a fusion of Thai and Japanese drinking cultures. They have a diverse menu of delicious dishes and drinks. We loved their Knockout Tiger Thai Old-fashioned with Pandan house yadong, smoked to order with 11Tigers prosperity cloth 🥃💨 Cheetah Rita with muddled Jalapeño, passionfruit 🌶️🍹Japanese beef gyoza 🥩🥟 Crispy spring rolls with vegetables 🥕 signature Black Panther curry with squid ink fettuccine topped with ribeye steak 🥩 🍛 and Green Curry duck 🍛 Such rich and complex flavors - can’t wait to come back again already!
Just had the most incredible dinner at 11 Tigers. This place blends Thai and Japanese fusion so effortlessly. We got the soft shell crab dish and squid ink panang curry with ribeye which were both to die for. The bad kitty cocktail also cannot be missed! Our server, Lucas was very attentive and helpful when we had questions. Would recommend this place!
Spent NYE dinner in this Japanese–Thai fusion ramen, unlike anything else in the area—in the best way. It keeps the soul of ramen but introduces bright Thai flavors that feel natural and balanced. It’s creative, comforting yet exciting. If you’re tired of the usual ramen and want something thoughtfully different, this is a must-try.
Me and my husband love it here especially for the happy hour! They have a Thai Riki vibe and their happy hour goes until 7 pm during the week and it’s $$ off their full cocktail menu + a few really great nibbles. I love the Leopard and the Tiger Killer. We always order the gyoza and shumai off the happy hour bites and they’re delicious. Their steak, noodles and garlic fried rice are also so good. This is the perfect post-work pick me up spot
11 Tigers is a hidden gem for special occasions. Whether it’s a birthday or a date night, this place sets the tone for an amazing evening. The attention to detail in every corner of the space is remarkable. We enjoyed everything about our visit. The dishes were beautifully presented, the atmosphere was lively yet relaxing, and the service was top-notch. A complete experience!” We got there for happy hours and the drinks did not disappoint at all. We had the duck pad Thai, kee mao seafood, and crying tiger steak. Everything was seasoned to perfection, just the perfect amount of spiciness. And we finished with sticky rice mango.
I've been here multiple times to 11 tigers. My friends and I decided to celebrate a birthday party there this weekend. We went there during happy hour (before 7pm). We had a wonderful time enjoying the delicious Thai fusion food and the cocktails. Unfortunately, they didnt have Oyster with Assorted Topping(Hoi Yai) that was our favorite dish but the other appetizers definitely made up for it. All the drinks that we ordered were good. The vibe was great, the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this spot for anyone who’s looking to celebrate any occasion with friends, family and coworkers.
11 Tigers NYC is such a hidden gem! The atmosphere is modern and stylish with just the right amount of intimacy—perfect for a night out with friends or a cozy date spot. The drinks are beautifully crafted, almost like art, and the flavors are incredibly unique. The sushi and Thai-inspired small plates are fresh, creative, and absolutely delicious. The staff are welcoming, attentive, and make you feel taken care of without being intrusive. The whole vibe is elevated but not pretentious, which makes it such a fun experience. Definitely one of the spots I’d recommend if you’re looking for something different in the city that combines amazing cocktails, great food, and a cool, energetic ambiance.
Started with ceviche and oysters. The ceviche was insanely good. So light and refreshing, very spicy!! One of my favorites. For mains we had the steak and duck curry. The duck was juicy, with super crispy skin. Very impressed with how well it was cooked, didn’t realize it came with noodles, the noodles were ok. But duck was perfect. The steak was solid.
Had a great experience for this Thai/Japanese fusion restaurant! Who would’ve thought such a hidden treasure existed upstairs! Food was amazing; highly recommend dishes shown below. In particular, the stone wagyu just melted in my mouth! I would say altogether, the food was a mix of spicy and salty mix; quite unique feel to it. Service and atmosphere were both great!
I would say it’s very unique spot even for New York. Speak easy restaurant with Thai cuisine and little bit of Japanese flavor. We really enjoyed cocktail list and everything we tried from the menu was delicious - scallops, wagy, steak, noodles with duck and duck curry. Our server Lucas was very helpful and nice and made our experience unforgettable ❤️ Highly recommend!
A fancy enough restaurant! I like all its tiger decorations 😆 All the dishes are beautiful! I had a great night here! The highlight was the wagyu and uni rice—incredibly luxurious, with the buttery wagyu melting perfectly with the creamy sea urchin. Every dish was well-balanced and beautifully presented. Definitely a place worth revisiting!
Came here on a Friday night because I couldn’t get a reservation anywhere else and was pleasantly surprised!!! The cocktails are delicious! Especially the Bad Kitty on Fire. It’s definitely is a show piece because of the fire aspect but it was also just really good. I got the Curry Udon with Crispy Duck. So so good! My boyfriend had Crying Tiger Steak. The steak was a little tough in parts but the flavors were really good. I also had a crispy tuna cracker as an appetizer and that was pretty mid. lol those two dishes are the only reason I’m not giving it a 5 star. The servers were wonderful. They were truly the best part of the experience. Everything was reasonably priced. The atmosphere was fun. I would definitely recommend this place
I came here on a dry but cold Friday night in mid February with three others. The 730pm reservation was made less than a week prior to dining. The restaurant was suggested by friends who had previously been. I have walked by the restaurant many times, never knowing it was there. It is on the second floor and has a rather obscure entrance. When we arrived, the restaurant had less than half of the tables occupied so it did seem that a walk-in dining could easily be accommodated. When I walked in, I was struck by how unique, warm, and stylish the restaurant was decorated. It really created a great atmosphere and felt like you were in a different world. The space was very clean and in no way felt cramped. The restaurant had printed menus as well as QR codes for links to the menu. The restaurant had no available wifi for diners which I thought was odd given their QR code menu links. As with many Thai restaurants, the cocktails were very fun and non standard. Some of the cocktails are made table side with fire which can be overwhelming, especially if you sitting next to the server creating the flames. The appetizers and small plates were delicious. I ordered the Black Panther Curry signature plate which didn’t have a lot of flavor to it. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. I would likely go back to try another entree and I would recommend. This was between a 3 and 4 for me but I ultimately gave it a 4 based on the atmosphere.
Fun spot with a lively vibe and creative drinks. We ordered the Khao Soi Punim, Pad Thai Ped Dum, and Crying Tiger Steak, everything was flavorful, though portions were a bit on the smaller side. Starters like the Takoyaki Balls, Tuna Zuke, and Crispy Rolls were great for sharing. Cocktails (Bad Kitty on Fire, Pink Panther, and Tiger Killer) were a highlight—really well made. Can get loud and busy, but overall a solid place for a night out.
They didn’t have any uni, but they didn’t inform us when almost all their menu was uni. The server was rude and unresponsive. The table was sticky. The eel caviar hand roll had way less caviar comparing to the photo on menu. They didn’t ask about temperature of the crying tiger steak and was too well done. The duck pad Thai was pretty good.
I can't say I was disappointed, but I was definitely expecting more from all the good reviews on red notes. So here's a few things with my dining experience. The oysters sauce tastes great, but they are not fresh oysters. So keep in mind if anyone got a bad stomach. I think they need new recipes on their fried batter, we ordered fried calamari and the curry fish. The fried calamari is not crunch or crispy, flavor is 👍🏼 tho. The curry fried fish was bad👎🏻 Again, the fried batter, fish crunch was hard, not crispy hard, it felt like it had been refried on it has been set out for too long. We really liked the Tom Yum fried rice flavor< very authentic Tom Yum > but the shrimp that comes with it is mushy. For the Japanese Don, although it is full of sashimi but it didn't have that freshness and sweets to it. So definitely need some improvement. Their cocktails are amazing. Ohh and definitely need more lighting. It is so dark in there. Put more lighting on the table so we know what the food actually looks like.
11 Tigers was all over social media, but the real experience was disappointing. The seafood wasn’t fresh, and the dishes tasted like they came from a microwave. It felt more like a marketing stunt than a real restaurant. Prices were very high for such low quality. Would not recommend — there are much better options for Thai food in NYC.
