We often stop here with our campervans in their grassy parking lot, reserved for campers. It's free and offers constantly improving services for campers. We always go to this place for dinner, where we've always found friendly and quality service, a varied menu, and excellent cuisine. Not to mention the pizzas, which are large, well-topped, and very easy to digest—a must-try! Finally, the quality/price ratio: something from another era; once you leave, you can't wait to return.

Excellent location with related services for leisure and relaxation are a walk away. It offers the possibility of camper parking on the property on the lawn with the services of c/s. It is not a camper area but only a parking lot so adapt yourself.

Yes, I love it. The atmosphere is truly Italian, but without any frills. We've been coming here for 10 years, and nothing has changed in those 10 years. A donkey wanders around outside and sometimes escapes and comes sniffing around on the terrace. Then the tiny owner (Franka) chases him away with a broom. Hilarious. Mostly locals, and the varied menu offers super delicious pizzas for €6/€8. The pasta and fries are also delicious! Note: within walking distance of this restaurant is an incredible natural phenomenon with a waterfall and currents. See the attached photo. Also highly recommended.

Stayed in our van here for a couple of nights and ate here both nights. The pizza menu is extensive - the pizzas great. Night 2 we had pasta/gnocchi - also didn’t disappoint. The set up for campers is great with two outdoor sinks for washing up, a toilet block that is always open and plenty of flat space. What more do you need!

A highly recommended spot for campers. The restaurant serves excellent local food at reasonable prices, and the staff is very polite and professional. For campers, there's an excellent overnight parking area with fresh water, restrooms, and waste disposal. The hiking trail to the Orridi d'Uriezzo starts right behind the restaurant.

Excellent traditional dishes, simple yet full of flavor! Generous portions, very friendly staff, and exceptional customer service. Average prices. Highly recommended! Update: After two years, I've returned and can only confirm what I've already written. The staff is always attentive to requests, and their courtesy is commendable. This time, too, I chose the traditional dishes offered. The quality is always excellent: the gnocchetti all'Ossolana are spectacular, and the stew with polenta is a must-try! Excellent local cured meats and cheeses, and the desserts are homemade. I'd say leaving feeling full and satisfied for €65 for two is no small feat!

Those rustic, simple, and down-to-earth places I love so much!! I went to this restaurant on a Monday afternoon. They had a set menu, but they accommodated us by also offering dishes outside of the set menu. The appetizer of cured meats and cheeses was fantastic, accompanied by a delicious nervetti salad. The polenta with the stew was excellent—the meat melted in your mouth—and the tagliatelle with mushrooms were superb! The portions were more than generous! We also took a lovely stroll in the large fields around the restaurant, where there were paddocks with horses, donkeys, and goats...everything was beautiful, I'll definitely be back.

Third time here, what a great undiscovered local gem this is. True Italian pizza they way it should be. Do not expect high-end, this is a restaurant for locals. Awesome.

Excellent choice for a local place with authentic food, authentic atmosphere and local people. The service is very effective: fast and straight to the point. Prices are wonderful: the Margherita comes for 5.5 Euros, and it's not a small pizza. The meat was deliciously cooked. We paid a decent price for a great experience. I strongly recommend.

Piacevole sosta improvvisata. Pizza buona anche se una su 4 era bruciata sotto, servizio molto gentile, tempi di attesa ragionevoli, splendido forno a legna, amari della casa gradevoli. Presepe sull’acqua in prossimità. Ampio parcheggio.

Come al solito la pizza è buonissima e leggera pur avendo le dimensioni di un disco volante, l'ambiente montanaro come piace a me caldo e accogliente il personale super disponibile e soprattutto non ti fanno pressione per liberare il tavolo per far posto ad altra gente... che dire una bella serata sarebbe perfetto se facessero anche la pizza per celiachi così da poter portare anche i miei figli. Consigliato. Dimenticavo appena fuori c'è una centrale elettrica storica bellissima dove si fanno anche visite guidate.vedi foto.

Gnocchi ossolani squisiti e abbondanti. Ai piedi di una centrale idroelettrica, con ampio parcheggio e all'inizio del sentiero verso le marmitte dei giganti e a seguire l'Orrido Sud, si trova questa trattoria un po' sempliciotta nell'arredo ma che fa dei gnocchi ossolani con farina di castagne serviti con due fette di formaggio, deliziosi! Acqua servita in bottoglie di vetro. Da consigliare.

Trovato sul percorso per un'escursione agli Orridi di Uriezzo, locale molto spazio con dehor e forno a legna. Comodo parcheggio. Personale gentile e servizio nella norma, considerando che il locale era pieno. Abbiamo scelto le tagliatelle ai funghi veramente ottime e per rimanere in tema il sottofiletto sempre con i funghi tenerissimo e km 0. A pranzo servivano anche la pizza. Siamo rimasti soddisfatti.

Arrivati all'ultimo momento, ci hanno accettato e servito polenta e spezzatino quasi subito. Molto buono, servizio buono, prezzi in linea con altri locali.

Nice place, but we weren't treated particularly well by the waiters, who were clearly exhausted, perhaps because so many of us showed up at the last minute. Excessively expensive for mediocre (if not terrible) dishes: sour tomato sauce and ragù with juniper berries (??? Were they juniper berries??? Who knows, they have nothing to do with the ragù anyway). Industrial desserts except for one... which I preferred not to try. I don't recommend it... there's nothing typical about it except the Walser gnocchi (tolerable but not exceptional).
