Avis sur Beanies Coffee Roaster Bakersfield
Lavender matcha cronut is INSANELY DELICIOUS. Incredible customer service!!! Coffee and tea selection is unmatched. Strawberry matcha is the perfect balance of sweet and earthy. I’ve never had iced oolong before and i’m obsessed with their peaches n creme. Dubai croissant (baklava filling!!!) is a MUST! If I didn’t live on the opposite side of the country, I’d be here everyday. (also Hurricane by Bridget Mendler was playing upon arrival so instantly amazing atmosphere) THANK YOU!!!!! WE LOVE LOCAL CAFES!!!!
Coffee Shop No. 431 Beanies Coffee Roasters Bakersfield, CA October 11, 2024 “CAUTION! I brake for coffee shops!” I need some sort of bumper sticker, sign or flashing light that warns people of my cortado/coffee addiction. I can’t tell you how many times I have been driving or walking down the street, I see a sign for a coffee shop, and make a quick detour. This is exactly what happened in the case of Beanies Coffee Roasters in Bakersfield, California. I was driving toward a different coffee shop and out of the corner of my little eye I spotted their sign. I made a quick U-turn and found may way to their parking lot. My Beanies Coffee Roasters Detour turned out to be one of my best detours. Not only did I receive a delicious cortado I also had the opportunity to chat it up with one of the baristas. She recommended some of her favorite coffee shops in the area. She also recommended I search for “coffee roasters” along with “coffee shops” whenever I am surveying an area. This has probably been one of the best pieces of advice I have received in my 1,000 coffee shops quest. Well…besides 29th Parallel Coffee, my 37th coffee shop, they introduced me to cortados. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!
Local coffee roaster. This coffee house has a pleasant sitting area. Great place to meet or gather. I had a mache latte and an amazing blueberry scone.
An amazing new coffee shop in Bakersfield! I got a hot vanilla latte, and it was absolutely delicious. Not too sweet, so you could really taste the quality espresso. All housemade syrups, which is not the case with most other coffee shops in the city. 10/10 recommend!
5 stars all around!! Let me start by saying Cheyenne was super upbeat and friendly!! She was efficient and the drinks were delicious!! My wife got a Dirty Chai Latte & I had the Matcha Latte. I've never had a better Matcha Latte!! Hands down best around!! We are just passing through on our way back to Sacramento, but will make it a point to swing by again when in the area!! Cheers to your success Beanies!! Oh,.. and the frosted brownie was DEEELIIICIIIOOOUUUS!!
My friend and I were waiting for an appointment and decided to grab a coffee at Beanies in the meantime. The small coffee shop is in a business park. When we walked in the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The floors are a light wood, the walls are maroon and white. There is a smattering of small black tables with light wooden chairs. In the back are 2 large orange coffee-roasting machines, not sure of the proper name. There is soft music playing in the background. I ordered a cold brew with cream and a bit of sugar along with a pumpkin scone. My friend enjoyed a latte and pumpkin scone as well. As we sat down to our table more folks wandered in. All in all, we were quite happy and satisfied. I will be back when in the neighborhood.
I had a delicious flat white with oat milk. The staff was welcoming, inviting and wonderful. The seating is comfortable (great for people of size), the vibe is easy going and relaxing.
Amazing place with GREAT SPECIALTY COFFE ❤️ fantastic coffee menu, professional barista, cute and cozy atmosphere, great pastries and croissants. Highly recommended this coffee shop to stop by.
Best roaster and coffeebar in town. Beanies is a great third-wave coffee roaster. The owner was present and served us a cortado and pour-over coffee. Many shops in Bakersfield just use machines for pour-overs so it was a nice touch that he gave us the time to do a proper drink. Please support this shop. It's the best in town and I think you should give it a try!
Excellent ice coffee and tea. Great and private atmosphere... Special for going with friends...
Service was fast, but I was the only customer at the time. It seems you can order ahead, but I wasn’t aware of that available service. Menu is small compared to other coffee shops in the area, but it seems like they roast their own beans. Coffee was fresh, place clean and bright. I wouldn’t have found the place just by walking by, you’ll have to find a parking spot due to the high traffic from the restaurant nearby.

The only high quality espresso shop and specialty coffee drinks in Bakersfield. If you are a coffee snob this is the only place in town that will make you smile.

I can’t say enough great things about Beanies! The drinks were top-notch, but what really made the experience unforgettable were the employees. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm. They were not only incredibly friendly, but also super knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. If you’re looking for great coffee served by an amazing staff, this is the place! I’ll definitely be back!
Great coffee shop! Coffee was perfectly roasted on site, baked goods were fresh and delicious, and the vibe is chill. Support your local coffee shops, and start with Beanies!
First time swinging by. The ice mocha coffee with cold foam was amazing. Smooth rich flavor, not to sweet just the perfect amount of sweetness. Staff were sweet and friendly. Inside was clean and neat. Everything was stocked and organized. Sat outside and over all had an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend this place.

Local coffee roaster. Not much selection of beans. Enjoyed their Ethiopian beans. Nice place to get some work don. Quiet atmosphere. I would recommend calibrating every now and then. My cappuccino was on the bitter side.
Discovered this little hidden gem spot as I was looking for an early morning coffee shop close by. One of those places that you constantly drive by in your commute but had no idea it even existed. A very straightforward menu consisting of different coffee and tea choices. For a Sunday morning pick me up I ordered a white chocolate mocha and it was just what the barista ordered. A bold flavor with a nice touch of sweetness. I also ordered a dulce de leche scone. I'm not very familiar with scones but it had great texture and flavor. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere, service was very friendly.

Location is a little hard to decipher from the street, nice patio to enjoy, inside is very basic- a few shelves with their merch for sale, a coffee grinder/roasting machine, a few tables. Tried the peaches & cream ice tea, was just a basic ice tea, I didn't taste a hint of any peaches and cream. I got the ice chai as well, it was extremely mild in chai flavor but drinkable, but I doubt I'd order it again. My friend ordered a hot matcha, she took one sip and it was too bitter for consumption. The menu is small, no one was overly friendly or welcoming worth writing home about. Basically, we can check Beanies off the list, but wouldn't return.

Beanies Bad Roast So... let me start by saying I love to support local business in our community. With that said, I expect the same mentality from our local businesses and their employees. With today's highly inflated economy if you want my business and money, show some effort. I read some other reviews about Beanies that claim to have had a good experience so I came to see for myself. I was drawn to their claim of roasting coffee in-house. My wife and I were excited to try their coffee and possibly purchase a few pounds of fresh bean. When we walked in the store we were not greeted by staff. The employee said, "what can I get you." Ummm, "Hi, welcome in" would have been nice. But okay, I said this is our first time here, can you tell me about your coffee beans. She says, "look at the bags on the shelf. It explains what they are". I should have left right then but I really wanted to try their coffee beans. I said okay, when was the last time you roasted. She tells me "I don't know like maybe three weeks ago, um yea, I'm not sure". Me: how old are the pastries you have here? Her response, "yea I don't know". Okay so can you please make me a brow sugar curtado with oat milk and a flat white for my wife. I'll try a single shot expresso and a cinnamon roll. She rang it up and said, tap or insert you card. Total:$24.00 dollars, not outrageous but expensive for coffee and a pastry. She served us in paper cups and another employee who came out from the back room put the cinnamon roll in the microwave. Our coffee: The expresso was so bitter I couldn't drink it. My curtado was also super bitter and my wife's flat white had a strange taste. It literally fell flat! The cinnamon roll was stail and I have no idea how old it was. If you take a close look at the container the pastries are kept in there are finger prints all over the inside and way understocked. I grind my own coffee and make my own expresso at home. I am not a trained berista but I know coffee and their flavor profiles. The coffee and staff at Beanies missed the mark. If you're looking for great, local, in-house roasted coffee with knowledgeable and friendly staff go checkout Bakersfield Roasting Company. You won't be disappointed.

The grossest americana(my friends drink), & chai latte(my drink) ever. When I tried the americana it was so nasty I had to drink my gross Chai latte to get the taste out of my mouth. The chai was flavorless & watered down. The workers were nice
I was really excited to finally try Beanies Coffee Roaster after hearing so many great things, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I ordered an iced latte with a pump of caramel + vanilla syrup and iced strawberry matcha. Both drinks were very bland with almost no sweetness or flavor—just tasted like watered-down versions of what they should be. I’m sure with all the good reviews, I might’ve just gone on an off day or had a barista who didn’t make them quite right. I really wanted to like this place, but it didn’t live up to the hype for me.
