Garrett was my server tonight. This was my first visit here and I was recommended to come here by a new acquaintance. She said it was her favorite Italian restaurant! Well, on Garrett's recommendation, I ordered the shrimp scampi. Oh my gosh, the pasta and the shrimp were unbelievable. I finished off the evening with Mama's carrot cake. Fresh sponge with creamy icing. Just perfect. If you are looking for great Italian fair and great service, check out Frigatti's in Bakersfield. You won't regret it!

We always try to stop at Frugatti's when we are in Bakersfield. It is just the best Italian food. The place is so pretty and clean and they really take good care of it. Parking is super easy and the prices are fair. The service is so nice and they always get our order right and we always get a pizza to take back to our hotel if staying the night. Everything there is so good. They have a great menu and there is something for everyone. They have wood fired pizza which is out of this world great. All of their pasta are just the best and some of them are wood fired. Their salads are the best and they have a few to pick. If you are vegetarian they have a lot for you. If you are vegan it is much more limited, but they have a few really good menu choices. We just love this place and you will to.

We got a large group to gather here for dinner and had a great experience. The atmosphere was charming, the staff was very professional and friendly. and the food was all delicious. We had chicken thingies and mushrooms for apps and a veggie pizza and salads for dinner. The place is in demand, so pro tip, make a reservation if you can.

I went to Frugatti's with a table of nine. We were celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary. The restaurant worked with me to bring in decorations, specialty desserts, and for a nice table. I appreciate the restaurant working with me. Our server Sharlene A. was spectacular. Was was professional, cordially, informative, and extremely efficient. Service from cocktails, appetizers, entrees to after dinner drinks, and her service was seamless and impeccable. Despite being busy, she graciously took group pictures and even found time to chat with us. Sharlene made a memorable evening completely perfect. Thank you for your attentiveness. The food was delicious: appetizers, salads, main courses, and drinks. The atmosphere was great. The soft lighting, wood floors, and tasteful decorations lend themselves to create a relaxing ambiance. The background noise allows one to still enjoy dinner conversation. I highly recommend this establishment for a private dinner for to or for a special occasion celebration. There is plenty of free parking. The restaurant and facilities are wheel chair accessible. The menu features vegetarian options. The restaurant location is centrally located off the highway. The restaurant is a must try. When you visit the establishment request, Sharlene A. for the ultimate dining experience.

Wow. What an amazing Italian restaurant that you will not be disappointed. The food is delicious serving with Hardy portions. Very flavorful taste with sauce that will leave you asking for more. The Sammy sauce is the best. Highly recommend the salmon. Any option with regard to pasta is a great pic. Services fantastic with a smile. Plenty of wine options to choose from. Seating from booths to tables. There is even a bar area to sit at.

The atmosphere and service is superb. Met with an old friend and it was the perfect spot. Loved our waitress. Unfortunately I chose the classic lasagna and I was so looking forward to it but it was extremely greesy and I only ate a quarter of it. I tried it the next day and I took two bites had to throw it away.

Decent food, but large portions. The complimentary bread they served was delicious, and overall, everything tasted good. However, the fried chicken in the appetizer was far too salty. Although the two pastas we ordered weren’t bad, they’re nothing special. Still, the pizza we ordered(Nonni’s Pizza) was great, and had a nice cheese pull. When we came in, we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, so I recommend making a reservation if possible.

Actually liked the food. Ate in the outdoor covered patio area, and although i loved the airy open area, the view and location leaves little to be desired. Expect to pay at least $20 or more person. Had a pasta type with shaved truffles and sausage. Yum. It gets busy, so expect a waiting time

Overall a great meal with great service. Only gave 4 stars because the Caesar salad was very watery - like the leaves of lettuce hadn't been dried so the dressing was just weak and watery. The server rectified the problem immediately and cheerfully and offered substitutes- kudos. The wood-fired salmon was cooked perfectly, although I was not askd how I would like it cooked. Maybe just a policy? Not a huge deal. The pumpkin cheesecake was rich and yummy! I asked for a specialty drink and the bartender served up an amazing nutty Irishman. Well done there! Yes, it's a large place and pretty loud for those that like to know. Overall, it was a wonderful meal with terrific service. Keep up the good work y'all!

I loved the shrimp fettuccine it was delicious💯, everyone else in my table complained about their steaks not being cooked how they wanted it. Instead of returning it they just ate it because they were hungry😅 overall we had a good dinner. I think the place is really nice and cute. The walls in the place need cleaning.

My only complaint is the same as others. It took way too long to get our food. We were sitting 1.5 hours before our food came. The chicken on my salad was barely warm and my oven baked pasta was cool enough to handle the dish. The food was still fantastic though. The tortellini was good and the sirloin (arrived after our other dishes) was thick and cooked correct. The staff were friendly and the decor was very nice. We also sat way too long waiting for our check. Honestly, the food was good but not sure I would go back.

Ordered pick-up. We got the filet tip bucatini. Literally 8 pieces of steak. For around $30 something dollars and most of the pieces are tiny. What a disappointment. Now I'm stuck with a bunch of bucatini in sauce that is just okay.

Service was good, but the food has gone downhill. What used to be a full plate is now just the idea that it once was. I've ordered this meal many times and have never been disappointed. I ordered the caprese salad, which used to be a full plate of deliciousneas and is now the equivalent of 1 tomato for $16.59. see the picture in case you are wondering. Each tomato didn't even have its own slice of mozzarella. No seasoning. Olive garden would have at least been filling.
