Authentic experience, fantastic service, amazing food quality! We drove over an hour and we're not disappointed, we will be back!

1st time visted after a family funeral. Authentic Mexican food. No lard in the beans or anything else. Full adult bar with excellent margaritas any flavor or virgin. Yes children can dine here. The decorations absolutely beautiful. The staff friendly knowledgeable helpful on the items on the menu. I will be taking the 2 hour drive just to dine here for just a drive away from Los Angeles. Can accommodate large families. The price for the 6 people was easy on our budget. The food selections were extremely wonderfully delicious upon be placed on our table. We all ate everything on our various plates. Parking was easy yes there are handicap ♿️ spaces plenty of parking spaces.

I always judge a Mexican restaurant by the chips and mainly salsa, if it's good, food follows. Not disappointed! Food was quick and very good, great service from all three, bus/ drink, waitress and host. My go to place in South Bakersfield for sure.

One of the best I've had in recent memory. The most delicious sauce on enchiladas and tacos were crispy and filled with meat. Unfortunately passing through town and it will be awhile before we pass through again. Until then, I will dream of this meal

My family and I love coming here. The food is sooo good and the service is amazing. We love getting helped by Rosita she’s an absolute angel and amazing person. Every time we see her we know it’s gonna be a good experience her energy is warm and magnetic. Overall 11/10 restaurant with amazing food. The chilaquiles are delicious you won’t stop eating until you’re out

This location is always been really good and I love there patio. The one off Allen service sucks in the bar area. I would recommend this location!!

I found this little Mexican gem in Bakersfield when I visited a good friend of mine. I have had many (different) experiences eating Mexican foods in my life, but this is by far my first review out of all of them. Amazing food! I'm from Ventura County, so it's impressive enough for me to right this review! On top of it all, it was very economically cheap and affordable 👌 😀 👍 👏

Incredibly cute little restaurant! The servers were polite and responsive, the handmade guacamole they make at the table slaps, and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice! We both had fajitas and we're impressed by the portion, flavors and preparation. I had the meat trio and the none of the meats were overcooked (easy to do with fajitas) and all had a wonderful seasoning. The service was excellent so it was a great first experience and we will be back.

If you are in or stopping through Bakersfield you HAVE to stop here the food, the service, and the atmosphere was such a vibe. I’m so glad we chose to go here for dinner!! The food is delicious and Juan and his team are amazing. Wait at the bar with “sexy” the bartender he makes some of the best drinks.

From the outside, Rancho Grande looks big but inside it looks like one big open room. It was packed this past Saturday around 630PM. Thank goodness my co workers were there with a table already. Tables are a bit small and close together but the atmosphere was intimate rather than crowded. I adored the staff! The staff went above and beyond and were just delightful. Awesome job fellas!! I had two different drinks and they were BOMB! My favorite was The Paloma, I give it a 10 out of 10. Kudos to the bartenders. We didnt really eat during our time together, we were pretty busy chatting it up. I took my food to go. Im pretty sure it would've been delicious fresh instead of warmed up. I can not wait to go again!

We ordered the mocajete and natchos. The molcajete Was hot and full of flavor. It fed 2 people. The natchos are huge, more like an entree than an appetizer but tasted so fire, we ordered the steak one and it was so juicy and full of flavor. Food was amazing, and although there was no drink menu, the employees did inform us they had a kind of open bar. would definitely go back when in the area lol

I went on a Daddy Daughter date with my two daughters and found this place by mistake after going the wrong way down Panama. That wrong turn led us here and we are happy that it did. I'll leave my review in 3 parts. Server - Our Main server was Maria and she was an AWESOME server . Aside from Maria there was a sweet older woman who came right over to our table not 2 minutes after we sat down and brought us chips and salsa and took our drink order. Which came out like 30 seconds later. This woman needs a raise. I didn't see her stop running back and forth the entire time I was there. Ok, back to Maria. Maria was awesome. She was quick to take our order and get it out to us. Every single time she passed by our table, she made sure to ask if we were good. She even asked if we needed refills while our cups were half full. Nobody does that anymore. Her service was impeccable and she was super attentive to us. As we were cleaning up she even made sure to ask us if we wanted drinks to go. Which we did . So, if you read this, Maria, THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR FIRST VISIT THERE ONE TO REMEMBER. There was also a dude running around with a tablet who also was making sure everything was good at our table. I appreciate that also. Location - The location is bright, colorful and they have ample seating. They even have a patio. We didn't get to enjoy that because it was pouring rain outside, but it looks like it would be a nice spot to eat outside. The temperature in the restaurant was great. Cold as hell outside, but inside it was a comfortable temp. They had 3 TVs playing 3 different things. Basketball, hockey, and football. None of which I care for, but I like the choices. The place is clean. Like, really clean. I appreciate that and you can tell that the girls working there do a great job at keeping everything neat and ready to go. Food / Value - Now. For the food. My bill was $72.14 (for food) ($100 total with tip). Me and my daughters ordered. Bean and cheese burrito plate. 2 Enchiladas combination plate. Shrimp Fajitas. Complimentary chips and salsa. The chips and salsa were fire ! 🔥 Warm chips and the salsa was fresh too. No complaints there at all. My plate. (Shrimp) came out steaming hot on a skillet with a side plate of rice, beans, guacamole. And the portions were huge ! Same goes for the other two plates. As soon as me and my daughter's seen the plates we said - "Yeah this is about to be good" and it was. Everything was flavorful, hot, and I think my Shrimp were on steroids. Those things were HUGE. Also they tasted so good. All of the food was really good. My daughters commented that their food was super good and they enjoyed all of it.

Definitely some of the best Mexican food in Bakersfield. I recommend nachos and flautas. They make one heck of good tasting Cadillac margarita as well.

Staff was amazing and food was delicious their queso fundido with chorizo was really good 10/10 very nice and clean environment. Everybody was very attentive and friendly.

Clean Restaurant, Friendly Staff. Food was okay. Not amazing, not terrible. We would eat here again, but will probably try a different place instead.

Nice place with some great service. Plenty of tvs to watch sports on and a good selection of beverages at the bar. I ordered the Carne asada and the meat was a little tough but full of flavor. Overall the plate was pretty decent.

Great food and fast service! This placed was PACKED, so I rated the atmosphere a 4 due to how loud it was inside of the restaurant - We could barely have a conversation because it was so loud. Other than that, definitely a place I recommend to check out if you're in the area and looking for some good Mexican food!

Friendly staff, very busy and cooks were over worked took about an hour for our food and refried beans had a burnt after taste. The hostess was really nice and checked on us even with it being busy.

It used to be a great restaurant. Over time the quality of the food and the presentation and diminished. The service has gone down hill as well, who knows maybe you'll catch them on a good day.

This was definitely a one and done. Food is okay. Edible but lacking flavor. Service was bad, slow and lacking attention. Had to ask multiple times for items. Ex: had to ask multiple times for drink refills, limes and other items. To top it off, the AC (through not fault of their own) was not working. Temp inside the place was HOT! When it’s 102° outside and people would rather sit out there and eat should tell you something. On the upside, the bartender was great. He was more attentive and present than our server.

Im giving the food 1 star, food was not tasty at fish was like pudding and all they present the plates nice and everything but food has no taste , my advice read other reviews here first .

I ordered from here because a review said they had the best asade burritos. After receiving it all it was was stringy asade inside a tortilla no rice or beans no onions cilantro no salsa.... just meat and a tortilla. Covered in bland a red sauce.

Service definitely needs to be better waiters seem annoyed if you ask for anything people were asking for the check because waiter was not coming to their table our waiter slammed our drinks down on the table at the opposite end and we had to reach for them not once did our waiter check on us to see if we needed anything.

The food was ok. The service was terrible. Our waiter saw us one time. After that never helped us again. We got more service from the bus boy than our actual waiter. Every time we saw our waiter he was glued to the tv watching the soccer match. I will never return to this place.
