Had such a great experience at Amicci’s of Little Italy. The place is cute, nice, and casual — super comfortable atmosphere. The Panino was an absolute delight. I genuinely wanted to bathe in that creamy scampi sauce — it was that good. The calamari was cooled to perfection and for larger pieces they were still tender! The Shrimp Salerno and Ricardo were both delicious and generously portioned. Everything was fantastic and we will definitely be going back!
Consistently delicious, well-made food at a great value. Friendly staff that offers great service, in a welcoming atmosphere. My picture shows 2 of their “every day $20 entree + salad + dessert” deals. The left one is chicken parm spaghetti and the right is shrimp ricardo (both are paired with caesar salad and tiramisu)
Dinner at Amicci's was a delight. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and so helpful. We started with The Panino and Rose Sangria (the fruit was fresh!). We shared the Shrimp Salerno, the sauce was delicate and the prosciutto enhanced the flavors. Excellent dining experience!
This is a great spot for happy hour or for small group dinners that has great food in the heart of little italy Baltimore. Get the pane rotunda you won't be disappointed. Went for a work happy hour and all agreed that the food was on point. Also had the burratta and tomatoes and mozzarella sticks.
I'm in love!!! Amicci's exceeded my expectations! Not only is the food DELICIOUS, the portions are huge. Typically no wait during the week days, but expect to wait for seating Friday and Saturday! Sangria is on point and you can take a bottle home- OMG!! Excellent value overall 😊
What a charming restaurant! In Baltimore's Little Italy section of the city, this restaurant serves vibrant and traditional Italian cuisine with great service and a homelike environment. There are several dining rooms which keeps the ambience quieter and more personal, which is a welcome change from loud establishments. The food was so well made with lots of care and the bold flavors were simply amazing 😋. Our server was welcoming, the whole restaurant is very clean and they have a full bar if you're looking to have cocktails while waiting for your table. We had no wait for lunch on a Sunday, but I would expect to wait or need reservations during evening dinner hours. You can also eat outside when the weather permits. Enjoy!
Today, I tried Amicci’s of Little Italy in Baltimore City. I was on my lunch break, so I ordered carryout. The hostess was nice and friendly. The restaurant had a bar and a sombre feel to it. I had the shrimp alfredo and the garlic bread with cheese. It was delicious. They give you enough for two people and the price is moderate. I recommend this location.
1st time in little Italy. Very nice, casual and family friendly spot. The pepino lasagna was great. Will come back and try other pastas
The food was good. It was exactly as described on the menu. For this area, it’s excellent and one of the lower cost menus. The mozzarella sticks are large and actually made with a large slice of real mozzarella. The outside was crisp and not oily. The Pasta Corleone was cooked perfectly. My wife selected her dish as “a build your own” type of entree. It was also excellent. The waitress was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable.
The pane rotundo is a superb dish! The garlic cream sauce soaks into the bread wonderfully! so rich, so creamy, absolute treat. Anytime we come to baltimore, we stop for Pane Rotundo.
I was genuinely surprised about how amazing our experience was. Everything from the service, the decor of the restaurant, both a bar side and family side, and the food, oh the food, it was so amazing! I would love to come back here again.
Everything was delicious and we all left stuffed with food from the generous portions. In the heart of Baltimore’s Little Italy and awesome neighborhood. Cocktails were just as good even though the bartender did not know how to make a proper Old Fashioned. My friend had to tell her how to do it. Prices for everything in the menu were awesomely priced and we’ll definitely be back.
Food and service are great. Parking on a Sunday afternoon wasn't bad either. Got the baby signature, creamy shrimp scampi. MUST TRY. The lasagna was a bit spicy, creamy and full of cheesy goodness. The baked gnocchi is flavorful with a light spice as well. Our server was on point. Drinks were OK. The spicy pineapple cocktail was mediocre. However the blueberry Tom Collins was very good.
Absolutely top notch! The food here was incredible, melt in your mouth perfection. Probably some of, if not the best Italian food I've ever had. So, I would dare say that the Italian restaurants in Little Italy Baltimore are MUCH better than NYC's Little Italy restaurants. And IMO it's not even close. The sauce, the cheese, the meat, everything was perfect. Except the noodles, could have been cooked a little more but not bad at all! Highly recommend this place.
Shrimp scampi, Alfredo with chichen, mussels in garlic wine sauce and garlic bread .Everything outstanding delicious. Thank you for such great service .
Met with friends here after booking a reservation. Do so in advance. The bartender was attentive to our needs even though we were waiting on others to arrive. Hostess greater us well. Our server was knowledgeable about all items in the menu. Their suggestions were right on point. Server was familiar yet not overbearing during our meal. Timing was always on point. All the food had great flavor and was authentically delicious.
I'm not an Italian food fan, but this was some of the best Italian food I have ever had 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Service was definitely great! Shout out to Gabriella(sp) she was amazing 👏🏽 Atmosphere was a cool rustic Italian scene... Prices were decent and nothing crazy. You definitely get your money's worth when eating here. Parking is rough by restaurant, but we just parked in garage and walked with no issues there.
This local treasure in Baltimore's Little Italy was a delicious delight! Our group of six appreciated the opportunity to have reservations. We were seated promptly, and the service was friendly and quick. We ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was delectable! The prices are very reasonable for downtown Baltimore, too.
Had dinner at Amicci's, Little Italy, Baltimore. Pickled it because of good reviews here in Google Maps. It deserves all the stars. Normally, I would take off a star for not being wheelchair accessible, but the food and service were so good that I put that star back on. Our server, Bree, was friendly and efficient. My eggplant Parmesan was excellent. I had it with veggie medley rather than spaghetti, and I ordered extra marinara sauce to put on the veggies. The marinara sauce was outstanding. There's free street parking. If you can't find a spot on the street, there's a parking structure a block and a half away. I recommend Amicci's if no one in your party is confined to a wheelchair.
The panino - little version of the shrimp toast - is not so little that you can't share it with 4 people. That and the risotto balls was a meal for me. My wife had the gnocchi and it was fresh and tender. They also have a cool bar area
Well this is my 2cnd time here and it was worth the 1.5 hour drive.. good food is always worth the drive... Dish shrimp burrata....amazing
My wife and I chose to eat here while visiting Baltimore because of its rating and it was open for lunch. But man, beyond being convenient, the food was amazing! My wife got the chicken Delores and I got the shrimp scampi, and we got garlic bread with cheese (because can you ever have too much cheese?) and then a cannoli to finish off the meal. It was so good! I highly recommend checking this place out!
Fast service. Drinks and food are amazing. Our waitress, Aissata, was lovely and attentive. Thank you for a great night.
Lived in the neighborhood for several years—came back to visit friends and had another great meal here. Highly recommend to anyone wanting authentic Italian food in Baltimore. The best Italian restaurant in the city by far and a staple for its garlic bread, drinks, homemade pasta dishes and family orientated service. Amazing take out specials too!
Great food and cozy, family friendly atmosphere. The pesto penne was amazing. Tiramisu was very balanced without overwhelming coffee taste, mozzarella sticks were delicious and felt very light. Garlic bread was quite plenty, so good quantity too. The waiter might or might not have forgotten to give us drinking water. The other tables had so we asked, but he forgot again.
The first time I went into Amicci's of Little Italy was a weekday. I was in Little Italy at lunchtime and saw several people going into the place. I knew nothing about it, but this told me it was either cheap, good or maybe even both, so I went in. It was crowded for an off weekday. I sat immediately among a lot of people clearly here for a lunch break from work and seeming to really be enjoying themselves. Confidence was high. I got the Corleone: penne pasta, sausage and spinach in vodka sauce. It was quite nice. Just enough spice, and quite a large portion for what I thought was a very reasonable price if not downright cheap. However, being Italian and an avid cook of mostly Italian dishes since high school I know that the true test of an Italian restaurant is in its simple spaghetti and meatballs. I went back a week later for dinner. Spaghetti and meatballs and a glass of Chianti. I was very impressed. The pasta was fresh and tender. The sauce had that perfect bit of sweetness with a little bite on the back of the tongue. Not unlike my own recipe, passed-down from my mother and in no need of adjustment. The meatballs could have been from my own mom's kitchen. Not simply balls of meat, but tender and supple with just the right amount of spice and clearly influenced by the sauce. A perfect pairing. Amicci's passed the test and is now my favorite Italian restaurant in Little Italy. I still have not found anyone whose Lasagna is as good as mine (even my mother said mine was better than hers) but I may be confident enough in Amicci's to order it next time. Stay tuned...
We came to Baltimore on 10/9 and were incredibly impressed. Great food, specifically the mussels on the appetizer menu and pasta options. Definitely plan on coming again next time we find ourselves in Baltimore. Service was excellent and our waitress was wonderful! Very nice outside with the fall decorations outside and noticed they left dog treats at water bowls for the dogs. 10/10!!
I want to start by saying my reasons for giving this establishment the rating that I did. The food was amazing. The presentation of each plate was attractive, and the flavor and amount of food was to die for. The environment was cozy, beautiful and warming. When making and communicating our reservation needs over several phone conversations with the host it was nothing but pleasant. We were a large group, which I believe, made it difficult for the waiter to provide outstanding service, We were not irate nor drunk, nor impatient, just a group of women looking to receive a fine dining experience. However, the experience was not quite the way we had expected. It is my opinion that the waiter was new or had no experience servicing a large party. Although he was nice enough to break the bills down into four groups he was not capable getting the correct meals grouped together after three attempts. We literally had to write out the groups of meals to assist. Two members of our group ordered the same meal that did not display that it was spicy, and upon inquiring about it and one particular individual wanted to have it the meal taken off the bill and replace with another meal. The request was denied, and we had to pay for the meal and the replacement meal. The manager refused to take the meal off the bill; I decided to relieve the individual of stress and paying for a meal that she would pay for and not eat, so I offered to pay for it with the conditions that I could take it to go. A new meal was received and according to the group member it was delicious and to her satisfaction, which made me happy. When receiving the bill both meals were on the receipt, but I had to ask the waiter three times where is my meal to go since I paid for it? When they packaged the meal, because of the amount of food, which was great, they packed it all in two small containers that were overflowing with juice from the meal. By the time I got back to my destination, the bag was soiled with liquid, it ripped and the favorable bowl juice was everywhere, including on me. I was disappointed in this part of our experience. However, because of all the things mentioned in the beginning of this post, I would return again but now I know what to expect. I decided to give this restaurant a review because I want to let you know what you could expect and how to prepare for it. This experience will not stop me from returning again because the majority of my experience was pleasant, and again, the food was amazing; I recommend you give them a try on the food and environment alone. And hopefully you will have a better waiter who can handle a big group. I do want to add that he was trying his best was not rude and kept apologizing. Kudos to him for that. We kinda of felt sorry for the waiter/waitress, which is why we offered to help sort out the bills correctly. This was kind of frustrating however, keep in mind each bill included the 20% tip. Honestly, we would’ve given additional tip had the services and the manager’s decision were different. Amicci’s of Little Italy is a very fine establishment; I recommend the manager reconsider their policy on meal returns or have the waiter/waitress or menu clearly reveal to the customers which meals are spicy, especially with a large group.
Amicci's was a great experience. My friend and I went for an early dinner. We got a great seat by the window. There are multiple dining areas, and I found ours to be very quaint and inviting. We got a burrata appetizer, and it was great. Service was good. Pasta was perfectly cooked. Flavors were great. Prices were reasonable. The only reason for the 4 stars is the fact that no bread is served with dinner. What kind of Italian meal is served without bread and olive oil for sopping up the sauces? I would rather that they raise their prices a few dollars and don't be so cheap with the accompaniments. When did we get to the point where restaurants only serve "pieces" of meals? It is not an immersive experience when you have to piece things together like a self- service place.
Hey there, I'm Ray and I recently went to this fine establishment with my fiancé and it was an overall really good experience. The service was satisfactory, the atmosphere was cute and the food was really good. Although, the calamari needed to be breaded better and more crispy, THE MOZZARELLA STICKS ARE THE STAR OF THE APPETIZERS. Seafood Ricardo is indeed spicy... Loved it. And the eggplant parmigiana was divine. Would recommend, would go again.
We both ordered different pastas and you get a massive amount! I also got a blush wine sangria that was delicious. The food was very good as well. No breadsticks or garlic bread though. Red sauce was better than the alfredo. The server did not seem very friendly like we were not wanted there, 2nd place we ate at in Little Italy where this happened. Prices were a bit high but so was the food every other place we went in Baltimore.
Food was pretty good. Service was fast as well but we were there when it was not lunch or dinner rush. Everything was great other than the eggplant parmesan.. it was a bit too tomatoey
One of my favorites, especially when it comes to the pane rotundo, best app in Baltimore for sure. If you love shrimp scampi and warm crusty Italian bread, then it’s for you!! I also love their lasagna and chicken Parmesan.
It is a very cozy restaurant a great place to eat as a family. The service and the attention is very good your waiters are very attentive and friendly, they are wonderful! In this opportunity we were 11 people and many were fascinated with the place, their pasta dishes are delicious the best was the pasta diavola! I in particular ordered pasta Alfredo (chicken) and I did not like it, he needed chicken salt and a little more sauce so that the pasta was wetter. As a suggestion, I would say that since it is a pasta restaurant, the cheese should be served on the table to be placed in the pasta. This time we asked for it and the waiter scratched the cheese on the site, leaving it already scratched on the table this could be avoided.
It was nice, and our server was very efficient. I just wasn't blown away by the food. I had chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and it was very rich, but a little bland. However, the garlic bread was really delicious! The prices were very high, but Baltimore is just pricey, I think.
Very nice place with great atmosphere and character & food to go with it. Appetizers are excellent. Bread bowel app is great. Mozzarella sticks possibly the best we had, fresh mozzarella battered and fried to perfection. Calamari was good as well. Entree portions seems to be a bit unbalanced. Pasta dishes are very large , chicken dishes like chicken parm ... the chicken seems a bit sparce in size. Overall quality was excellent though. Lasagna is a heavy meat lasagna with allot of meat. If you like that go for it, it's excellent but would advise to get some space on the side as with all they meet the lasagna could be a bit dry. Enjoyed the dinner ,service & atmosphere
The restaurant is very cozy and familiar and all the wait staff are very friendly. Loved the art on the wall amd the casual, warm atmosphere. Seems like a great place for families. The food was just okay, however, and there is not a great wine selection
Delivery service: I probably would have rated this one star higher. However, for $63 I paid for two meatballs and a side dish of pasta for takeout. That was not worth the money on top of it. They didn’t even provide utensils. I did like the create your own pasta however, all they did was add pasta, sauce, and whatever you asked for and no flavor. I am a bit of a Snob with my meatballs I’m used to having meatballs that have veal beef pork Parmesan and more added. So, I felt my meatballs were subpar and they only gave you two meatballs for $13. My create your own possible cost $33 and it was the size of carryout/leftover bowl.overall this place was ok but not worth the money. Probably better if you did dine in.
Stopped in yesterday 8/17/25 around 3pm for the first time, I decided to sit at the bar which was pretty empty. Soon after I received my drink order I noticed a little bug floating In my glass and immediately let my server know, her response was i can remake your drink but I can’t guarantee there won’t be another bug in the next drink because you are sitting next to our fruit which currently has attracted fruit flies she then suggest that we move our seats. I wasn’t sure how to respond to that and just requested a total new drink, I can tell the server was annoyed and normally in most establishments if anything is wrong with any parts of a meal it’s substituted without any questions. This interaction definitely made me feel uneasy and I hope another customer won’t have to experience this! People remember tone matters.
Medium size Italian restaurant with a small bar, with a decent-size menu of mainly pasta. The service was quite good, but she seemed rushed, and the ambience is quite nice and cozy. Ordered Caesar salad, amicci pasta, and chicken Lorenzo, and unfortunately both pastas were quite mediocre, both being slightly overcooked (and mushy, since they’re not fresh pasta), and the sauce was only fine. The sausage was a bit too salty and plain, like a grocery store sausage, and the vegetables were good quality and plentiful, but also mushy. The chicken was good, and the Caesar salad was decent too.
Ordered through Door Dash & brought dishes that had the best reviews: Authentic Meatballs w/ Fresh Ricotta (every part was So delicious) Pane Rotunda w/ Shrimp & Fresh Garlic Bread (could have been seasoned better & shrimp were overcooked) Cream sauce was the best part of it Authentic Lasagna (very hearty) I gave a 3 star review for the quick delivery & the flavors were delicious! I was disappointed with the portion sizes especially since the prices are dine-in prices. All in all I would visit the establishment to get a better experience.
It was okay. The salad was a big disappointed. The lettuce wasn't crisp and fresh but most pieces were soggy and brown. The garlic bread was fantastic. The lasagne and La Rosa shrimp were good. The pie was very light and good. The service was friendly and very good.
The food was good with good vegetarian options. The pasta we got didn't have salt though. Good ambience and wasn't very crowded for a Saturday night , we could easily get a table . However disappointed with the service. We had asked for water and were never served water . Even after asking it multiple times to different servers.
Disappointed by this place. Based on the reviews, I thought it would be a pretty good place. The food was mid. We had a piece of long black hair in our meatballs (neither of us have long black hair). That wasn’t the biggest concern though. It happens. I was there in a table seated for two and we were so closely seated to the family sitting next to us that it was uncomfortable. Our waitress had a bad attitude and didn’t want to be there. I just wanted a nice dinner with my boyfriend. We hadn’t been out in awhile and I’m reminded why we normally stay in. Food - mid, service - poor atmosphere- poor
Just bad overall. Food was flavorless. Gnocchi had a thick cheese sauce with no flavor. Espresso was cold. Canolli was SO bad. Drinks were fine. Service was okish, not warm or welcoming. I've had better food and service at Fazzolis (for less $$$). There are plenty of way better restaurants in the area. Avoid.
Disappointing Experience – Will Not Return Our visit to this restaurant was extremely disappointing. From the beginning, our waitress, Jada, seemed completely uninterested in our table. When I politely asked to change my drink, she appeared upset, and when I asked for a sauce recommendation, she responded with unnecessary sarcasm. We ordered an appetizer, but one entrée came out before the starter and well before the rest of the meals. After waiting over 30 minutes for our food, Jada came back and casually mentioned she had forgotten to put in our appetizer. At that point, I told her to forget it—we had already waited far too long. It felt like she had written us off entirely, almost as if she assumed she wouldn’t be getting a tip. Ironically, even though the service didn’t warrant it, she still received a 20% tip. When our food finally arrived, it was barely warm. My chicken parmigiana was overcooked and had to be sent back, only to be returned still overcooked. My husband’s chicken Alfredo was dry and bland, and my daughter’s lasagna—brought out too early—was served lukewarm. Despite us being polite and patient, we were overlooked the entire time. Meanwhile, Jada was noticeably more attentive to her other tables. In fact, three couples were seated and fully served before us, even though they arrived after we did. I genuinely wish we had the other waitress—she was professional, kind, and attentive, unlike Jada. As for the food, most of it was a letdown. The chicken parmigiana was dry with an overly sweet marinara, the Alfredo lacked flavor, and the lasagna was just mediocre. The only standout dish was the salmon with spinach and creamy scampi sauce, which was delicious, along with the garlic bread. Overall, this was a frustrating experience with poor service and subpar food. We won’t be returning.
I had an extremely poor experience at this family-owned Italian restaurant in Baltimore. Not only did the server bring out the wrong dishes after my friend carefully pointed to the correct ones, but the manager’s attitude was shockingly unprofessional. When we explained the mistake, the manager outright refused to consider that their staff might be at fault. Instead, they blamed us for “ordering wrong” and said they trusted their server over the customer. Quoted from their word, “My server has never done anything wrong before” which makes me doubt. They couldn’t provide any proof, of course, and the whole situation felt like they were just covering for their own staff because it’s a family-run place. I definitely believe the Manager whoever works for the lunch shift on Friday, Dec 12th 2025 should get more training on acing this job. In the end, they only gave a partial refund and treated us with a lot of disrespect. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for decent service. And I will report this entire incident to BBB to get this marked.
The Pane Rotundo IS A MUST!!!!!!!! But an Unexpected Wrinkle in the Service Let me start by saying: The undisputed star of our meal was the Pane Rotundo—a round, buttery half loaf of toasted Italian bread filled with succulent jumbo shrimp in a creamy garlic sauce. One bite and we were hooked. We talked about that dish every single day afterward—it’s that unforgettable. We also loved that the portion sizes for lunch matched dinner-sized servings, which made the experience feel generous and thoughtful. Pro tip: Go for lunch—you’ll get all the flavor and ambiance with a relaxed pace and great value. Now, we did hit a snag. We ordered a pitcher of sangria, expecting the fruit-forward, wine-infused flavor that typically defines the drink. What we received, unfortunately, was more akin to flavored water—no wine presence at all. We mentioned this to the staff, and initially, we were pleased to see that the same gentleman, the manager who had greeted us so warmly upon arrival came to address our concern. But to our disappointment, his demeanor had changed significantly. Gone was the warmth and welcome; in its place was a tone that felt dismissive and unkind. He approached the table with his hand on his hip, his voice curt, and his attitude left us uncomfortable enough that we considered not returning—despite how good the food was. To be fair, he did remove the sangria from our bill, and we absolutely appreciate that. It’s just that—as we all know—it’s not always what you say, but how you say it. That interaction cast a bit of a shadow on what was otherwise an outstanding culinary experience. Thankfully, our server was wonderful, and we made sure to tip her well in appreciation. Would we go back? For that Pane Rotundo… quite possibly. But we hope that the management reflects on how impactful tone and attitude are to guests—especially those who arrive with excitement and leave with mixed emotions. If you’re a foodie, especially a garlic-lover, Amici’s absolutely deserves a visit. Just know that while the kitchen is serving excellence, hospitality is just as important to the experience.
Shockingly rude bartender. How she managed to get hired is a mystery, and how she’s still employed is an even bigger one. Without question, the absolute worst service I’ve ever had in Baltimore. She's a miserable old lady. Even witnessed her snapping at staff.
All was great - delicious calamari and a house salad followed by my dish, DELICIOUS!- gluten free penne with sausage and BUT then a wrinkle in service - my husband’s dish was eggplant parm and the layers of eggplant were just very mushy. He POLITELY asked for an alternative and the manager was brought to the table- JODI acted as a bully- RAISED VOICE, argumentative and said it would be full price we could have it wrapped to bring home. I read a similar experience by another patron in recent reviews. I won’t return
