The food was very good and delicious, the staff was very friendly and the view is suuupeeerr🫶🏻. Unfortunately we had to wait a little bit to have a table at a view but…. IT WAS WORTH IT💓. Also the bathroom is very clean and modern. Plus the food was kind of cheap because we had 4 dishes of food and 5 drinks and the total was 77 euro. I am 100% sure i will come again.

We have ordered a Pizza, Grilled Salmon, Goat meat, grilled mussels, and a fresh salad. The food arrived in time, delicious, fresh and tasty. The service was excellent and most importantly with a smile. The atmosphere is magical with the ocean waves striking the wall beneath us.

Great food at accessible prices. Staff were helpful and they moved very fast. The view of the ocean is excellent and the atmosphere fantastic. Totally worth it. If you want something traditional go for the fish or the rabbit and the papas arrugadas.

The food was excellent, and the location was stunning sat next to the sea. The menu was really good and offered a great selection. Staff were friendly and helpful and service was top notch. Prices are reasonable and I recommend the Canary Island starter selection.

I highly recommend to visit not only because of the perfect view but also delicious food. Two person paid 48 EUR - not bad (one starter, two soups, two main dishes, 1/2 liter of wine). The waiter greets with smile, what is an asset as well :)

Amazing food and service!! We almost didn't go to this one but so glad we did!! Got the breaded chicken (so fresh and good!!) We also got a pizza and it tasted amazing. We where welcomed by a lovely server who looked so happy and made the atmosphere so much better! The food was also very quick! The end price shocked us as it was 38 uros and we was expecting it to be alot more! Amazing prices

I think they are the best in tenerife. They serve every menu like tapas, traditional, soup, stake, fish, drinks , desserts, etc. Everything is well and the chef must be the master of cooking. Really delicious and well flavored. If you are in tenerife don’t miss that, you’ll enjoy it. The staff are cool and friendly. I recommend everyone.

Absolutely delicious!!! The food was beyond my hopes and expectations. I had the sole meuniere with chips and garlic bread. I can honestly say, this is the best food I have ever had abroad, simply cooked to perfection. This lovely restaurant is beautifully located right by the sea with views of the town of Puerto de la Cruz. Its an absolute must try and excellent value for money. The service was on par with the food, attentive but not over bearing. They are doing a fantastic job and deserve your custom. I want to go back to Tenerife just to sample more of their cuisine 10/10

El restaurante está justo al lado del mar, tiene un buen ambiente y una vista preciosa. La camarera es amable y sonriente. Las pastas como lasaña vegetariana y espaguetis con marisco, estaban deliciosos. Pero los carnes eran demasiado gruesas y no estaban bien cocinadas.

I like this place, ended up here by chance before reading anything! Very good food and moderate prices! The staff are super nice and the service is top notch! Dropped a fork on the floor and before I could blink there was a new and clean one for me on the table! The location is cozy and calming with a view of the water and hear. the roar of the waves! The view was the only thing good about the place. The service was poor, unkind and felt very unwelcome. Don’t order the patatas bravas it was freezer potato cubes and ketchup. Disappointing.

Service was bad, we were welcomed by not very friendly face , got a table , waited for menu for about 15 minutes and it wasn’t even busy. Took order , when we ordered steaks they didn’t even ask how we’d like it to be cooked. Menu said steak comes with Canadian potatoes, but it came out with fries ! Steak wasn’t nice at all. Went there last may 2024, and the service was a lot better. Wanted to change the review so it’s fair for the owners. My review down below was marked as false by the owner so that’s still a bad point that he wanted to remove my bad review. Augustus 2023: My experience at Pomodoro restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz was a mix of highs and lows. The food itself was quite good, and the restaurant's location by the water was truly fantastic. Being able to dine by the water added a special touch to the overall atmosphere. However, I must admit that the friendliness of the staff left much to be desired. Throughout our visit, we didn't feel the warmth and attentiveness that one would expect from a dining establishment. It was disappointing to notice a lack of attention from the staff, and the fact that our meal took an unusually long time to arrive added to the frustration. Waiting for approximately 85 minutes for a pizza and a pasta dish was an unexpected delay, especially when we observed that people who arrived after us were served their orders sooner. While the location and the quality of the food are tempting factors for a return visit, the lackluster experience with the staff leaves me uncertain. The potential for a great dining experience is definitely there, but improvements in staff friendliness and service efficiency would be essential to make a revisit a more appealing option. In conclusion, Pomodoro has the potential to be a top-tier dining spot due to its stunning location and delicious food. However, the lack of attentive and friendly service during my visit is a significant downside that would need to be addressed to fully enjoy what the restaurant has to offer.

Service was absolutely terrible when my partner and I tried ordering our drinks the waiter walked off midway through the order for no one to return for 15 minutes until we asked another waiter if we could order, when our food finally came there was enough oil to service two cars and bland in taste. We asked for condiments for the table as we saw other tables with little pots of mayo and ketchup they never returned again. Las vistas muy bonitas, la comida no tanto. Los camareros apenas hablan con los clientes. La comida está cara para la calidad que tienen. Recomiendo pedir Lenguado frito si es para tu enemigo. No recomendable.

No sabría ni por donde empezar....dijimos que éramos un grupo de 11 y, por no mover mesas, nos dijeron que para todos no hay hueco que debemos comer separados. Tras un breve debate, accedimos porque nos habían sido que se comía bien. Nos sentamos, separados, y vienen a tomarnos la comanda....ahí el camarero dice, un sábado a las 22:00, que la cocina cierra en 20 minutos que no pidamos nada elaborado sino sólo un plato cada uno...nuevamente accedimos y no se ni porque. Llega la comida, entre platos ácidos, con falta de cocción o muy aceitoso, solo se salvaron 2 comensales que pidieron lo mismo y estaba bien, porque los demás estábamos descontentos con nuestra comida. Lo "mejor"....mientras esperábamos nuestra comida, y mientras comíamos, seguían llegando comensales (en grupos o parejas) a las que no les decían nada y les servían amablemente. Finalizamos la cena a las 23:00 y, con premura, levantan la mesa para darnos una cuenta, nada "barata", y despedirnos. Debido indicar que éramos 3 familias que solo queríamos disfrutar de una cena con tranquilidad y disfrutar la última noche en la isla para, finalmente, irnos sin un buen sabor de boca ni una buena cena familiar.

Experiencia muy negativa y decepcionante en Pomodoro Restaurante Puerto de la Cruz. Entramos con amigos para tomar café, comer algo dulce y después pedir vino antes de la comida. Estábamos dispuestos a consumir, pero el personal se negó a atendernos de manera tajante solo porque no queríamos pedir platos principales. Esto es una práctica inaceptable y contraria a los derechos básicos del consumidor en España, ya que un local abierto al público no puede seleccionar a sus clientes según lo que “les convenga” vender. Si ofrecen bebidas y postres en su carta, deben respetar al cliente que quiere consumirlos. El trato fue frío, arrogante y poco profesional, sin ninguna explicación educada ni alternativa. Nos hicieron sentir incómodos y prácticamente “expulsados” del local. Una actitud así daña la imagen del turismo en Tenerife. No volveremos y no lo recomendamos en absoluto.

15–20 minutos solo para que nos atendieran y al menos 40 minutos más para recibir algo en la mesa (bueno, el pan… porque la comida llegó bastante después). Y, como suele pasar cuando todo funciona mal, faltaba un plato. Ley de Murphy. Pedimos botellas de agua dos veces y nunca llegaron. Sigo? Servicio desesperadamente lento y claramente malo. El personal, poco profesional y nada amable. Llega un punto en el que uno se cansa de preguntar por el pan, por el agua, por los platos… porque nada llega y nadie da explicaciones. Si no fuera por la ubicación, no habría absolutamente ningún motivo para recomendar este sitio. Una experiencia muy mala.

Fuimos a tomar algo con todas las mesas vacías en la terraza éramos 4 personas y nos denegaron la bebida que solo sirven con comida …el camarero alto con muy malos gestos tiró la carta como si estuviera cabreado y como si no fuéramos los primeros a los que se la niegan…. PONGAN UN CARTEL DE AVISOOOO O DIRECTAMENTE CIERREN …. Normal que busquen personal si así tratan a los clientes no quiero imaginar entre ellos … sin ni siquiera un buenas tardes por educación… una pena porque seguro que hubiéramos comido! Suerte

This is a rating for stupidity and service. Even though all the outdoor tables were empty due to the late hour and fairly low temperature, they refused to serve me because I only wanted to order wine without food. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and I wanted to order a good bottle of wine. Apparently, they don’t make money on alcohol in Tenerife. I would have ordered food as well, but the way this was explained to us completely put us off staying there.

How is it acceptable for customers to sit for over 15 minutes without drinks and without anyone coming to take an order? We were first seated inside and waited while staff walked past us, showing absolutely no interest. The tall staff member with grey hair in particular is extremely unhelpful and comes across as completely uninterested in doing his job. He don't even acknowledge customers on arrival. This was easily the most inattentive service we have experienced. We eventually left the restaurant because nobody seemed bothered to take our order. I genuinely feel embarrassed and uncomfortable.

Wait time was atrocious. One starter came out the other never did. Had to ask for it and it came. Mains came out and hadn't finished the very late starter. No staff attentivness at all. No asking of more drinks. No asking if our meals were ok. Location perfect. Food nice. Wouldn't return due to staff. Not friendly at all
