Dani un hombre con sabiduria y con carisma. Senti que conecte profundamente discutiendo las opciones culinarias de este magnifico sitio. Cogi un vuelo de 12 horas para poder conocerle, y lo volveria hacer 10 veces. Dani te amo.

I honestly didn’t expect much from a beachfront restaurant in such a heavily touristy area. I was anticipating La Rambla–level quality. This turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Pros •Excellent food, especially the sardines. •Very good sangria. Balanced, not overly sweet. •Outstanding service. We were taken care of by a waiter named Dani. Dani was attentive without being intrusive. He paid attention to what we were looking at, whether we seemed to be searching for something, and anticipated our needs. Suggestions were offered naturally and casually, without any pressure or sales tactics. •Relaxed atmosphere with a great beachside setting. Cons • Prices are higher than non-touristy neighborhoods, as expected for a beachfront location. •During peak hours it can get busy and noisy. •It’s not a hidden local spot. You know you’re in a tourist area.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Barcelona! This Spanish paella restaurant is absolutely worth every star. The food is authentic and full of flavor, but what truly made the experience exceptional was our waiter, Dani. Dani was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. He explained the menu perfectly, recommended amazing dishes, and made sure everything was spot-on throughout the meal. His attitude and service honestly took the whole experience to another level. Highly recommended — and if you visit, definitely ask for Dani!

This was an absolutely fantastic choice! Went here after a long day of work and couldn’t be more perfect. Sat right on the beach. The restaurant has a diverse menu with many options from tapas to steak to fish dishes which we all enjoyed. I LOVED my t bone steak. The sizzle surprise!

A MUST GO! We had one of the best lunches in Spain! We had a random assortment of appetizers which were out of this world! The calamari was the best I’ve ever had! The salad was excellent! The star of this lunch was the noodle seafood paella. Perfect blend of flavor and texture. Not one noodle was left. The lemon sorbet was a killer finish! Delicious and highly recommend!!

I had a wonderful experience at Arenal Restaurant in Barcelona. The terrace with a sea view is absolutely beautiful, and the food was excellent. I especially enjoyed the appetizers and the paella — truly delicious! The staff were efficient and attentive, and everything was served promptly. Highly recommended!

My son recommended this restaurant, I walked from Columbus Monument and ordered some Tapas and Seafood Paella, with a small glass of beer and cheese cake. The waiter is a gentleman with good patience and excellent service, unfortunately I forgot his name and lost my receipt . The Paella is so good and delicious so is the Tapas.I definitely will recommend to all my friends . Btw the view is amazing just near the beach.

Hemos ido en grupo para festejar el cumpleaños de una amiga, y éramos 15 personas. El servicio de Hamza y el resto del equipo fue excelente, súper amables en todo momento. La comida está bien, no hay nada que se destaque, la vista del sitio está muy bien. Los precios son por encima de la media, pero van acorde al emplazamiento del lugar. Seguramente volveré por aquí.

The food at Arenal Barcelona was really good — fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Some dishes take around 20 minutes to prepare (as the menu mentions), and that’s absolutely accurate, so it’s worth the wait. Just a heads-up: certain menu items are priced per person but require a minimum order for two, so the bill will reflect that. The only downside was the service. The staff seemed a bit rushed and distracted — our server appeared more focused on her phone and giggling with colleagues than the guests, even though the restaurant wasn’t that busy. Overall, a lovely spot for great food and a nice beachfront setting, but the service could definitely be more attentive.

I went with a friend as this place has a reputation in Spain for serving good Paella (hence the pun) we were aware that they tend to prepare it for a maximum of two or more people due to the size of their portions (l'd advise reading the menu carefully about this - it's not inflexibility but the unique way they prepare the food) Popularity brings queues but we were seated in minutes by the most friendly front of house team and the menu was out within seconds, some servers understand English and some don't, so be clear if they don't understand, I can speak Spanish so that wasn't a problem. If you do order the Paella, they state a 20 minutes wait, and any review that says the food takes too long, hasn't read the menu properly. The food was worth the wait, our mixed Paella had meat, chicken, mussels, cockles and much much more, it was light, never greasy, perfect temperature and filled me up just right, I noticed a customer had standard steak and chips and enjoyed so much, he ordered another round! plus the waiters were quick, friendly and polite. .....as an added bonus, they have a dress code, so no beach-wear, and he was asking people to cover up or change before they ate but this seemed to be the norm across all eateries on the beach. Ideally located, good service and great Paella (in this persons opinion) - you should check it out.

Great restaurant right on the beach with nice views and comfortable weather. Ordered the double seafood paella took about 20 minutes so expect a short wait for the main course. Prices are a bit higher than the inner city areas but the quality is better.

Excellent food and a great atmosphere. They were pretty busy, so they struggled to plate everything together, bring extra plates and get drink reorders. Overall, we'd recommend and we were happy with the experience. Having seafood paella on the beach in Barcelona is a must!!

Hacía años no visitaba este restaurante. Me pareció el servicio bastante malo. Fui un sábado como a las 3pm. Éramos dos, adentro no había prácticamente gente como veis en las fotos. Le pedí a una camarera que nos llevara adentro y que no nos pusiera en el medio en una mesa de dos que nos ofreció, si no junto a la ventana; nos dijo que vale y nos puso en una mesa de 4. Enseguida quise dejar mi bolso y otra bolsa en la silla de al lado pero una chica joven, de esas que van con camiseta azul, le dijo a la otra (sin camiseta azul) de manera poco amable con ella y con nosotros, que separara las mesas y nos dejara solo con la mesa de dos...¿Y eso porqué? ¿Para mandar o demostrar qué?¡Si el restaurante estaba vacío niña! Malos modales y cero profesional. La camarera que le tuvo que hacer caso, regresó fuera y nos siguió atendiendo la joven poco profesional. Nada agradable... La paella rica pero pobre en cantidad y mediana calidad. No sé si lo recomendaría o si volveré.

La atención del camarero Dani ha sido excelente. Sin embargo, es lamentable el trato que tiene el encargado Hamza hacia los camareros de la terraza. Les grita constantemente y dice cosas como “a ver si piensas un poco”, generando mal un clima entre ellos y entre los clientes. Una lástima porque la comida estaba muy buena

Comida familiar. Sorprende bastante que cobren 65 céntimos por el servicio, que en un grupo de 10 son seis euros y medio que molestan, más cuando no hay un buen servicio. Que te cobren un plus por servicio en la terraza...bueno...pero en el interior, que pretenden, que pidamos en la barra? Metanlo en el precio y ya está. Molesta porque aún teniendo una reserva a las 15h, tuvimos que esperar a tener la mesa libre, pero tras ver que nuestra mesa estaba libre y montada, tuvimos que esperar a que la persona super-hiper- sobrepasada de faena, que es la que te tiene que acompañar a la mesa tuviera un hueco...nos dicen que ya han pasado lo peor del día, pero aún así nuestros entrantes (bravas y calamares) nos tardaron casi 30 minutos, teniendo que reclamarlos en dos ocasiones. Ni nos ofrecieron segundas bebidas, ni nos mostraron los arroces antes de servirlos. Por eso molesta que te cobren los 65 céntimos del servicio. Otra cosa, las bravas son patatas,... no pasa nada por poner una ración generosa. Es cierto que el precio es como en todos lados, entre 8 y 10 euros, pero que son patatas por favor, sean generosos. Los sabores buenos y la comida de calidad. El entorno de lujo.

Excellent location. The fideua was very good and the other food was pleasant. However, the restaurant charges a 10% surcharge for sitting on the terrace in addition to a 0.65 euro for service per person. This is indicated on the bottom of the menu but it is not easily noticeable. Once we got the bill, we found this to be a deceptive practice to inflate the prices for tourists. This made the dining experience less pleasant overall.

Hemos comido dentro y es bastante ruidoso. Los camareros tienen sus mesas y si tienes suerte que te toque el atento y eficaz, perfecto, pero en nuestro caso fue poco atento y se le olvidaban las cosas despues de pedirlas. El arroz de rape y vieiras nos esperábamos más. Eran muy pequeñas, solo dos trocitos de rape y dos gambas. La ubicación es muy buena pero para pagar 90 euros la pareja, no vale la pena la verdad.
