We had a great experience and the staff was very welcoming. We were informed that the reservation guarantees us the table for two hours but luckily we had the table for more like 3.5 untill the entire venue closed. I had plenty of wonderful surprises, the greates were the amazing duck hearts, I can't wait to go there again. The best dish was probably the roastbeef and mussels with home made mayo, a wonderful re imagination of the traditional vitello tonnato
I had wine and some appetizers with my friends. The vibe was great, the staff were super friendly and our waiter gave us good suggestions in what to drink. The appetizer was delicious! The is a must try. The food is a bit expensive, mas super worth the money and for the wine you have all prices range. I had a great time while there.
Had the most wonderful evening and dinner at Bar Brutal, a truly special time I won’t forget. We wanted outside about 30 minutes before getting a shared table with other guests. The servers were really nice and had great knowledge about the wine, everything they recommended was perfect. We shared plates including the bone marrow (amazing !!!), the smoked pork, octopus, bread and dessert. This is definitely a place I’ll recommend to future visitors to the city!
How to describe it better than by saying "PERFECT", if I could have put 10 stars I would have done it 🥹 Lets start with the food: whatever you choose it is very delicious! Amazing flavours, cooked with perfection, balanced, well seasoned. Great selection of wines too! Friendly and welcoming staff ! I absolutely love the concept and the vibes inside, we had a great evening and I would recommend it to anyone!
Bar Brutal is an absolute gem! The tapas were fantastic—fresh, creative, and packed with flavor. The wine selection was exceptional, and the sommelier’s recommendations elevated the entire dining experience. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel truly welcome. The atmosphere was vibrant yet cozy, perfect for a relaxed evening out. A word of advice: make sure to book in advance, as this spot is quite popular—and for good reason! Highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy amazing food, wine, and service in a great setting. Labneh with fresh mint, oh la la. Cured tuna was Wow wow wow .
If you’re going to go to one restaurant in Barcelona, let it be this. We heard raving reviews about this place but we had to try it for ourselves - and it was fantastic. Innovative dishes, experienced servers who are well versed on wine, fair pricing, a wine list larger than you can imagine, and a great funky atmosphere. Perfect for a date night or group of friends, great shareable dishes and seasonal menus. We asked our server to recommend a wine based on our personal tastes and price point and he came back with a delicious orange wine that really set the tone for our meal. We loved every aspect of this dinner and you absolutely need to go here.
Amazing Place. This place certainly allows you to taste quality products in an informal environment. Deep dedication to the search for unique products cooked and assembled with great professionalism. Deep and curated wine list. There are great wine products with great attention to natural wines. We food and wine enthusiasts returned twice on a three-day holiday: it's the place you want in your city to always go there! Special mention to the dining room service who was able to welcome us and follow us along the gastronomic journey: congratulations for the great professionalism and reserved welcome. We will see each other soon!
We had a lovely evening here! The food is sooo tasty and fresh, and the vibe is really cool. But the one who really made our night was Juan, he’s such a lovely soul and super positive and energetic. Very very kind guy and I hope he will be your waiter when you go and eat there! Say hi to him from me 😉 oh one thing: if you like it it’s fine, but they only serve natural wines (which I don’t like). They have other options like beer and amaro (which was very good) but just so you know
During my recent visit to this winery in Barcelona, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and variety of their wine selection. With an extensive range of wines from around the world, there’s something for every palate. What made the experience even more remarkable was the assistance provided by the sommelier. Their knowledge and recommendations were invaluable in navigating the vast selection and finding wines that perfectly suited our tastes. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, enhancing our overall experience. The food served was also a highlight - delicious and thoughtfully paired with the wines, elevating each flavor. The restaurant’s stylish interior adds to its appeal, creating an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere. It’s important to note that reservations are a must, as this seems to be a popular spot. My visit to this winery was a highlight of my trip to Barcelona, and it’s a place I would eagerly return to on my next visit. If you’re a wine enthusiast looking for an exceptional dining experience in Barcelona, this is a destination not to be missed.
Can Cisa/Bar Brutal in Barcelona was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an incredible fusion of flavors, impeccable service, and a delightful ambiance. The food was outstanding, with tastes that left me thoroughly impressed. The staff was attentive and friendly, making me feel right at home. Now, I must admit, there might be a bit of a wait, depending on when you go, but let me assure you, the anticipation only adds to the experience. It's a place where time seems to stand still as you savor every moment and every bite. So, if you're in Barcelona, make sure you don't miss the extraordinary Can Cisa/Bar Brutal – it's worth every moment of the wait.
Lovely place. Really good food - modern and creative tapas dishes with great taste. Great wine list. Cozy atmosphere and very attentive staff - although sometimes it got a little superficial, but there were also many guests! But definitely 5 stars and we will without doubt come again, next time hopefully before or after the high season.

I recently dined at Bar Brutal in BCN and was absolutely blown away by the incredible fusion food crafted by their talented Italian chef. Every dish was a perfect blend of flavors, showcasing both creativity and authenticity – absolutely delicious from start to finish! The wine selection was excellent, and the woman who took care of our wine was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. However, our waiter seemed quite disinterested, which was a bit disappointing. While it didn’t detract from the food or wine experience, it would have been nice to feel the same enthusiasm from all the staff.
I usually walk into any restaurant with the mindset that every place starts at 5 stars - it’s up to them to stay there or work their way down. Even when mistakes happen, a simple acknowledgment and sincere apology can go a long way to keeping that top rating. Unfortunately, this restaurant didn’t come close to living up to its hype. We were a large group of 14, and I asked our waiter to prepare a selection of tapas based on his recommendations. From the start, it felt like he wasn’t really listening. Things went downhill when we moved on to the mains. We inquired about the size of the pork “steak” and were told it was a 180g portion, sliced nicely. We clearly asked for 13 individual dishes of that main. What we received instead were 6 plates to share. When we pointed out the mistake, the waiter didn’t acknowledge it, he was defensive, even arrogant, rather than helpful or apologetic. The wine experience was equally disappointing. We requested a specialist to guide us through the selection. After a long discussion about preferences and notes, three bottles were brought out for tasting. Despite our feedback and the fact that several at our table are experienced wine drinkers, the choices completely missed the mark. It felt like our input was dismissed rather than understood. These two major issues, combined with a lack of accountability and professionalism, cost the place two stars. Mistakes happen, but failing to own them shows a lack of respect for the guests and the experience. It’s a real shame, because the venue and atmosphere are fantastic, clearly a lot of potential. But good staff make or break a restaurant, and this time, poor service overshadowed everything else. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the training and attitude of the team for future guests. Visit 02/09-2025

Hype machine, tourist trap energy, and very little joy Bar Brutal looks the part: busy room, loud confidence, and a vibe that’s constantly telling us we’re in the “right” place. But once we actually eat and drink, the spell fades fast. The food is… fine. Not bad, not exciting—just regular plates priced like they’re running a top-tier kitchen. We don’t mind paying when something sings; here it mostly just shows up. The bigger issue is the wine narrative. Too many glasses felt plainly mediocre, then got waved away with the line that “natural wine is like that.” Maybe. But “natural” isn’t a get-out-of-jail-free card for faults or laziness. It ends up feeling less like a point of view and more like an excuse. And the room doesn’t help. The attitude can be insufferable, the postureo is constant, and the whole thing reads calibrated for visitors who won’t come back anyway. We left feeling managed, not hosted—and with zero reason to return. Clean: 5/10 Comfort: 6/10 Food: 6/10 Wine: 5/10 Service: 5/10 The Experience: 5/10 Price: 40€/pax
