Hoy comimos en Carmina y la experiencia fue simplemente maravillosa. Un restaurante italiano que lo tiene todo: ambiente cálido, una decoración preciosa y un servicio impecable, siempre atentos, cercanos y con una sonrisa. La comida es espectacular, de esas que realmente te transportan a Italia en cada bocado. Mención especial para el tiramisú, preparado al momento frente a la mesa… una auténtica delicia y todo un show ✨ Y como broche de oro, nos permitieron disfrutar de la experiencia junto a nuestro perruno Tango 🤍, algo que valoramos muchísimo. Un súper 10 en todos los sentidos. Sin duda, un lugar digno de repetir y recomendar.

Es ideal para citas: el local es precioso, con una iluminación tenue a la luz de las velas que crea un ambiente súper íntimo y especial. De la comida, solo puedo decir que el solomillo es de otro mundo. La carne se deshace en la boca y el equilibrio de sabores con la base de rúcula y el toque de balsámico es espectacular. Además, todo lo que pedimos estaba impecable: desde el pan de cristal con tomate hasta ese tiramisú casero que es el cierre perfecto. Los mojitos muy equilibrados de sabor también. La atención y el servicio de diez, muy profesionales y atentos.

A wonderful Italian experience in Barcelona! Carmina is a truly beautiful restaurant with an old-world charm that immediately makes you feel welcome. The atmosphere is warm and elegant, and the service is incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. Authentic Italian cuisine, full of flavor and perfectly prepared. Every dish felt genuine and delicious. Don’t miss the tiramisu, prepared by hand right at the table during the service. An absolute must! Special mention to Andrés, as well as our other server and the entire team, for their warmth, professionalism, and making the experience truly memorable. (19/12/2025) Great venue with plenty of character (including what looked like a private function room behind a secret door in a bookshelf). I had an interior window seat overlooking a courtyard and other diners. The food was very good indeed, and so was the house red. My aubergine parmesan melanzane, helped along with a bread basket including the best bread sticks, was deliciously cheesy. I scraped every last ounce from the serving dish. The veal Milanese which followed was juicy and equally tasty, coated in buttery breadcrumbs. The accompanying simple salad was perfectly dressed. I feel churlish not awarding 5 stars for service as the staff were charming, friendly and professional. But I felt a bit rushed. Not at the start, but my melanzane opener was replaced by the Milanese in a single gesture when I was expecting at least a *few* moments to catch my breath. (Note to self: perhaps be clearer at the start about the expected timeframe.) From a business point of view, I’d have ordered a second glass of red if someone had noticed my empty glass and asked. To be fair, the staff took the main dish away and re-served it (apparently none the worse for wear) five or so minutes later. However, I’m afraid this hiccup resulted in a lack of concentration and a half-eaten photo of the dish in question. I’d *most certainly* eat here again on my next visit to Barcelona. I was lucky that booking seems easier in December than at other times of the year. The menu is pleasingly contained, without an infinite list of choices, but there’s still plenty more to try!

We found this restaurant on social media and didn't expect any difference to a "normal" italian restaurant, and we're proven wrong. The service was nice, the atmosphere relaxed and the food was really delicious. We had a nice talk with the bar keeper and some cocktail recommendations. For some dished they even had a small "show" when presenting on the table. We recommend coming by, if you want an extraordinary Italian experience.

We visited Carmina on a Sunday evening. We had first tried going on Friday, but since we didn’t have a reservation and they were fully booked, the staff kindly guided us to book for another day. We did, and it was definitely worth it! On Sunday, we were seated straight away, and everything from start to finish was wonderful. The food was absolutely amazing—the best truffle pasta I’ve ever had, and the carbonara was simply divine. The cocktails were also really good and paired perfectly with the meal. The staff were fantastic—so welcoming and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Un restaurante italiano acogedor con un ambiente agradable. El lugar en general no está mal, pero no puedo decir que la comida sea algo especial — todo estuvo bien, sin impresiones destacadas. El único punto negativo fue el camarero, muy lento, que constantemente olvidaba traernos cosas, por lo que el servicio se hizo bastante largo.

El sitio es precioso, muy acogedor! Fabiola fue muy atenta y amable. Las croquetas estaban brutales . La carbonara, sinceramente esperaba mejor, en compensación la pasta de trufa estaba exquisita. Y se tengo que poner un pero, el camarero que nos servio la carbonara aparte de tener una pinta de antipático, le pedí que el parmesano rallado y pasó olímpicamente . Pero todo lo demás , fue genial!

Restaurante original, por la decoración Nuestra camarera Clara un encanto muy amable y servicial. En general el servicio fue lento, además teníamos reserva a las 9 y cuando llegamos no tenían la mesa disponible, tuvimos que esperar media hora larga. La calidad y elaboración de la comida fue buena. Insoportable el volumen de la música, no se podía hablar. Tiene mucho margen de mejora.

Fuimos a cenar, el lugar es muy bonito y agradable, la comida buenisima, muy buena calidad y ejecución del producto, la única pega que pondria es la espera entre plato y plato, pero como el lugar es muy acogedor y se está agusto tampoco pasa nada. Nos atendió Megi, muy amable, atenta y servicial. Precio un tanto elevado, pero vale la pena.

Bueno bueno...por casualidad , sin más, caímos en Carmina , totalmente improvisado y la verdad es que fue una sorpresa. Un restaurante encantador , con aire de excelencia y un personal de lo más amable , hay que decir que la chica que nos atendió ( siento no recordar tú nombre , hermosa !) , de lo más atenta y simpática. En cuanto a la comida , nos decantamos por una ensalada de burrata con tomates a compartir y...hay que decir que muy buena elección por nuestra parte; de segundos , spaguettis a la carbonara , espectaculares y unos tagliatelles trufados que nos dejaron "helados" , hay que decir que bordaron la cocción en ambos. Por último, una tarta de queso ( soy amante de las tartas de queso ) que puedo decir que entra dentro de mis top 10!!! Sin duda 100% recomendable.

Overall, our experience was pleasant, the atmosphere is friendly, candle lit interior, beautiful decor. However, because we were celebrating a special occasion and here are some negative things that stood out: 1. Tiramisu is dry. Normally it should be kept in the fridge overnight but here it is cooked in front of you, it is crunchy and is completely different from what we expected. It was also way too sweet and we didn’t even want to finish it 2. The lady who was our waitress this visit clearly did not want to be there. Straight face, no enthusiasm to help and actually do the job 3. We were celebrating our friends birthday and I privately asked for the cake to be brought out. They brought the nasty tiramisu with all of the deserts and we didn’t even realize that it was a birthday dessert because they didn’t say happy birthday and didn’t differentiate this dessert from the rest, even though we specifically asked for a birthday cake P.S. you asked me to email you regarding my experience, but you never responded!

We really enjoyed being there, the food is good, the drinks are good maybe the sound is just too loud for a restaurant. The Young lady called Marta was really nice and kind and she was always there giving suggestions and always asking if everything is okay.

Restaurante bonito. Me habían hablado de él y aprovechamos que íbamos por la zona para reservar. Servicio correcto, para mi gusto un restaurante algo ruidoso , pedimos unos entrantes para compartir y un segundo. Platos correctos, no es un restaurante barato para la calidad que te ofrecen , ya que es muy básico, durante nuestra cena tuvieron varios fallos y olvidós, algo no muy normal para el servicio que pagas. Si volvería?? no lo haría. Me sabe mal porque tenía expectativas altas de este restaurante .

We were allocated a strict two-hour slot, which immediately set a rushed tone. Unfortunately, the drinks took an unreasonably long time to arrive, and while our waiter was exceptionally friendly and clearly trying their best, they were noticeably undertrained. This wasn’t their fault, but it did affect the overall service. On a positive note, the starters were outstanding—beautifully presented and full of flavour. However, things went downhill from there. Despite being told we had two hours, the restaurant wanted us to wrap up early (1:45hr which I refused to do). I really didnt need a confrontation while trying to enjoy my meal. Our pasta dishes were undercooked—not al dente, just plainly underdone. The cocktails were a major letdown. The Campari Spritz was nearly undrinkable, and the Negronis tasted overwhelmingly of vermouth with barely a hint of gin. Plates were left cluttering our table for far too long, which added to the sense of disorganisation. That said, the atmosphere was genuinely lovely—warm, inviting, and well-designed. It’s a shame the experience didn’t match the setting.

Food was good overall, we had calamari fritters, burrata salad, and eggplant parmesan (not pictured), all decent but nothing exceptional. Pasta dishes were nicely presented but service really brought the experience down. The place wasn’t busy, yet service was slow and quite unfriendly. Also, they don’t have chili flakes or spicy oil, only Tabasco. Given the reputation, it didn’t meet expectations.

Waiter without asking us brought bread, olives and water, when I asked whether it’s free, he said no and do I want him to take it away. I said yes, and he took only olives and bread, saying nothing about the water, but water was not free in the end. El establecimiento es bonito, las mesas de dos del piso de abajo que estan con silla son incómodas, las de los sillones están bien. La comida está bien en general, no obstante el plato de carbonara nuy poca cantidad para el. Precio además para las pastas deberían ofrecer parmesano o queso, no lo ofrecen. El problema no es la comida ni el establecimiento, que es bonito, el problema es el servicio deficiente, EL SERVICIO MUY MAL, menos el chico de la barra que es profesional, la chica que dice ser encargada junto a un tal Diego, también teóricamente los dos son encargados, honestamente brindan un lamentable servicio y una experiencia muy deficiente, primero por la falta de atención, ya que me traen un Sprite con pelos en el hielo, el vaso sucio, con pelusa negra, me limpio y ni siquiera digo nada, no obstante pido sal me la traen vacia pido otra también vacía, el chico dela barra lo soluciona, ya que han tardado mucho para tarer aceite y sal, luego pido otro Sprite y la encargada se olvida, en el restaurante no hay nadie pendiente de nada es súper difícil encontrar a un camarero, luego para rematar, estoy sentado con mi pareja en el sillón, y viene el señor Diego a decir que los sillones se rompen si nos sentamos dos, que mi novia pess 40 kilos y yo 60 que hagamos el favor de no sentarnos juntos en el sillón que se rompe, entonces pregunta, con todo el respeto si pesará 120kilos dónde me siento? No puedo sentarme porque se rompe el sillón? Nunca he visto nada parecido, se lo decimos todo y se ríe la chica supuesta encargada y se va ... Evidentemente se le dice todo con educación y respeto, para que lo tenga en cuenta, es a ella a la que se le pide el sprite y se olvida es ella la que no retira las cosas de la mesa ya que la mesa de dos tiene poco espacio y es ella la que brinda una atención nefasta, Junto a su compañero encargado Diego que de una manera desde mi punto de vista mal gestionada y mal educada dice que no podemos estar jutnos en un sillón que se rompe... Nunca nos ha pasado nada igual, teníamos ganas de venir a éste sitio incluso para navidad y final de año pero no volveremos jamás, no por el sitio, no por la comida, si no por la atención que ha sido pésima

Tourist trap: Un sitio hecho por y para el turista. Fui a cenar y el local es muy bonito, estetica preciosa pero… se queda en eso. La calidad de la comida en relacion al precio es absurda, nos cobrarons 9’5€ por literal 3 croquetas, me falta por averiguar si es que le metieron virutas de oro porque todavia no soy capaz de entender ese precio… Hacen servicio de pan y olivas al inicio de la cena y lo cobran a 2’20 POR PERSONA, independientemente de si has comido o no, en nuestro caso no consumimos y nos lo cobraron igual. El agua era de filtro (filterd tap water) y te la cobran como si fuera agua embotellada. El plato de pasta bastante soso y sin mas. La realidad es que he comido en restaurantes italianos mejores y a mejor precio (ejemplos de mis favs: de angelis cerca del camp nou o spaccanapoli cerca de arc de triomf) Desde luego este es un lugar donde no repetir.

Visiting Carmina restaurant in Barcelona was a very unpleasant experience. The reception was rude ,we were shown to our table, given the menu, and the staff member disappeared without saying anything else. I expected much more from this place. The staff appeared very unprofessional: the tables were not cleaned, and when new dishes were served, the cutlery was simply placed on a dirty table. We ordered gorgonzola croquettes and expected at least a minimal level of presentation, but they looked like something taken straight from a supermarket, fried and carelessly thrown onto the plate. The chicken steak was one of the worst I have ever had — completely tasteless, served without vegetables or any sauce. We were offered tomato sauce or mayonnaise, but even that was handled poorly: when we asked for mayonnaise, tomato sauce was brought instead. All other dishes were disappointing in both presentation and quality, especially considering the relatively high prices. The biggest disappointment came with the bill — olives were included, even though we neither asked for or ate them, and no one informed us that they would be charged. I truly do not understand why this place is so highly praised. I will definitely not return.

My overall experience was highly disappointing and I cannot recommend this restaurant. While the venue itself is beautiful, the hospitality and service issues severely outweigh any aesthetic appeal. We had an 8:00 PM reservation but were not seated until 8:45 PM—a 45-minute delay despite being told the upstairs section opens at 8:00 PM. The receptionist, Meggy, was unprofessional and dismissive. When my sister politely inquired about the seating ETA, Meggy rudely responded with "tranqui, tranqui" ("chill, chill"). This is unacceptable behavior for front-of-house staff. Compounding the issue, a group that arrived after us was taken upstairs almost immediately, making the extended wait feel arbitrary and disrespectful to our reservation. While waiting, we sat at the bar. It was clear the bartender was severely understaffed and overwhelmed. Our simple drink order took 30 minutes to be served. The food was served quickly once we ordered, but was underwhelming and noticeably lacked flavor. The beautiful setting cannot compensate for the terrible hospitality and organizational issues

DON'T COME HERE. PHONES ARE REGULARLY STOLEN BY PICKPOCKETS AT THIS RESTAURANT AND MANAGEMENT DOES NOT TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR IT. I have, unfortunately, come to change my review of this restaurant. Before I had given it 5 stars and I loved coming here. Now I will not return. My phone was taken from my table while I was making my order and speaking to the waiter. After going to staff for help, they openly told us that they saw someone fishy coming in, they also told us that the same thing happened the night before - AND THAT THERE IS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. Their behaviour was dismissive, disrespectful for the situation and even had mockery of us at some point when one of the staff laughed saying "these things happen in Barcelona". The manager, Elisabeth, only brought us footage of the cameras after my friend started openly telling other clients in the queue of what happened, before that, they would not give it any attention. Her response to the situation was always the same: 'this is not my fault, there is nothing I can do'. If I were the manager, I would be EMBARRASSED to have petty theft DAILY in my establishments. I would feel ASHAMED that I could not guarantee the SAFETY OF MY CLIENTS in a beautiful restaurant that I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR. There are, in fact, several things she can do, like better door control, better security, letting clients know that they should mind their phones in the restaurant etc. And if still something happens, they should have a protocol to help clients deal with it and provide them assurance and safety in the process, instead of being dismissive and disrespectful. But I guess accountability, ownership and even client facing is not in her job description. Needless to say that I had a terrible night here and I was feeling completely powerless in this situation. I could not count on staff to help or guide me under this. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE.
