La comida estaba buenísima, fueron muy atentos. No como nada crudo, les avise y adaptaron el menú a mis gustos con mucho detalle. El servicio fue muy bueno, eran muy amables.

Per recommendation from a friend, I came here in December (solo) and treated myself to the tasting menu. By default as an American we probably consider ourselves to eat a lot - but dear lord this was a good amount of food. I had to tell the server to not bring out the last dessert as I was so full from the other dishes. Each dish was carefully curated, with different textures and flavor profiles. I thoroughly enjoyed every single dish and would love to see how the menu evolves in the future. I also received the kindest service from all the staff, making it very comfortable to be in a place where you may not totally understand the language but can feel as if you are home. Would highly recommend if you would like to splurge and treat yourself!

As a tapas specialist featured in the Michelin Guide, this restaurant offers a well-crafted course menu. While I agree with the many reviews mentioning the service, the meal itself was excellent. It's not that they are severely understaffed, but the service definitely needs more systematic training. That said, the quality of the food alone is enough to make me want to visit again!

Possibly my favorite restaurant in Barcelona. I have been here multiple times and it simply does not disappoint. I feel like 90% of the items served are excellent with the rest being experimental and simply not everyone's cup of tea. We had a wonderful lunch at CruiX. Before we booked we send them a message to inform about availability if they could accommodate us together with two children after which we got a prompt answer. We had the petit CruiX menu which provided us with many creative and tasteful dishes accompanied by a nice bottle of wine. I would recommend CruiX to anyone who is looking for a cosy restaurant with creative dishes that offer superb value for money!

Cruix never disappoints. Innovative but feet on the ground tasting menu, great service and warmth from all the staff and Miquel Pardo, the chef. We took the grand cruix menu, but we probably could've done with the slightly smaller menu, we do and eat what we used to! Paired it with Malaveïna Catalan wine which was superb.

I loved the experience. First of all, the restaurant is very cozy and has this rustic, kind of an old cave style. We tried the regular CruiX tasting menu and it was delicious. I like how they play with all sorts of flavors and textures. The wine selection is also impressive and unique. The staff were very friendly and attentive all the time. It is not a cheap restaurant but the price is reasonable having into account the quality of the ingredients and the whole experience. Overall, the service quality was excellent. Totally recommended

Es un sitio agradable, una comida de 10. Hicimos el menú degustación y nos gustó mucho, lo que nos pareció raro es que en un sitio tan exquisito pusieran un estilo de música que no le pega nada como es el rock, pedimos si podían bajarla un poco pq estaba alta. Sería interesante poder tener una bonita y agradable cena con música suave de fondo, por lo demás perfecto.

Teníamos una reserva que se gestionó por correo a raíz de un cambio de día. Al llegar, no habían actualizado el cambio y pensaba que ya no podríamos comer, la suerte que el local estaba casi vacío. Les comenté que por favor tuvieran presente las observaciones que se habían añadido en su día, pues no se lo tomaron bien. Al principio me comentaban que poco podían adaptar y cambiar platos, pero al sentarnos y estar unos 10 minutos esperando, me comentaron que al final era posible adaptar algunos de ellos. Respecto a la comida, los más importante, me gustaría compartir que fue una experiencia muy agradable. Creo que la idea que ponen en los platos es muy equilibrada y variada, sobre todo por ma calidad y el trato que le dan a las elaboraciones. A destacar sobre todo: - hummus de remolacha - albóndiga rabo de toro - Croqueta de pato - crema de caballa con maitake (espectacular) - arroz Respecto al servicio, creo que la intención y las maneras que tienen los camareros, sobre todo ella, es que el comensal esté muy a gusto. Aunque para mi gusto, demasiado insistente ella y constantemente nos cortaba la conversación. Un detallo que no nos gustó.. fue el hecho de coger una detallo nuestras cucharas y enseñarnos directamente cómo se tenía que comer el arroz, arrastrándolo así por la paella.

Sitio excepcional y muy recomendable en BCN. Un crack el chef y atento a todos sus comensales. Buen producto, buena presentación, buena conjugación de sabores. Pedimos el menú para dos personas y pienso que no hubo decisión más acertada. Sin duda volveremos.

Buena atención telefónica y amabilidad para hacer un cambio de hora en la reserva. Demasiadas mesas para tan poco espacio, lo que resta privacidad. Parte del personal no es apto para un tipo de cocina y experiencia que ha de ser de descubrimiento, con poca experiencia. Ejemplo: prisas retirando platos cuando el otro comensal todavía no ha terminado o traer la carta de vinos cuando ya se ha empezado a servir el menú. En cuanto a la cocina, no le pongo peros. Como en todo menú degustación con cierta creatividad hay platos más conseguidos y otros menos. A destacar positivamente el MAITAKE CON CREMA DE ANGUILA AHUMADA y el HELADO DE SOPA TOM KHA y negativamente el churro de bacalao o el hummus de remolacha.

El trato fue excelente desde el primer momento, con un personal muy amable y atento. Los platos, además, estaban realmente buenos: sabrosos, bien presentados y con ese punto de elaboración que se agradece. Eso sí, el menú se queda algo corto en cantidad, especialmente el arroz, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta el nivel de los platos. Y un detalle que no encajó del todo: cobrar el agua filtrada en un restaurante de este precio no deja la mejor impresión. No es una gran cantidad, atendiendo el precio por persona pero desentona con el conjunto. En cualquier caso, la experiencia fue positiva y se nota que hay cariño en lo que hacen. Con un par de ajustes, sería redondo.

Local de distribución lineal, barra de trabajo en un lado, mesas en el otro muy limpio a la vista. Servicio y atención muy buena pero al tener tantas mesas se crea algo de ruido si hay grupos, que es lo que nos paso a nosotros, y mesas algo pequeñas, pero las platos y todo el servicio esta adaptado a este inconveniente. Excelente carta de vinos con una amplia selección de vinos nacionales e internacionales. El servicio simplemente perfecto, atentos y te explican cada plato, sin ser agobiante. La comida buena, con gran variedad de platos, buenos y bien elaborados, Es un sitio recomendable pero los precios aun no siendo un exceso, son algo elevados. Pero si me dicen que han cambiado cosas encantado de volver.

Rice-first, no-nonsense, and louder than it needs to be Cruix is the kind of Barcelona spot that knows exactly what it is: a rice house with a modern Catalan-Mediterranean bar spirit. The cooking plays the classics—arroces that aim for depth, toasted edges, and that clean, confident flavor that makes you keep scraping the pan. It’s not trying to be “conceptual.” It’s trying to be satisfying, and it mostly succeeds. What makes it stand out is the rice work. The kitchen treats arroz like a main event, not a side dish, and you can feel the repetition behind the precision: timing, texture, and seasoning that land with intent. It’s the sort of place we’d point friends to when they ask for “seriously good arroz” without the white-tablecloth ritual. The only real drawback is the room. It can get a bit loud, especially at peak hours, and that takes away from the pleasure of lingering. Still, for rice lovers, it’s an easy return. Took my girlfriend here for her birthday + knowing it’s under bib gourmand. For the price of €60+ per person for the multiple course experience, it was such a great deal. In the pictures are the standouts plus the thai dessert that I absolutely loved. Only thing though, is the service. While the staff tried their best, they need someone a bit more experienced and know how to manage the flow of the place. The staff seemed very young, needing more training, overwhelmed with the bustle of the place. Our wine sommelier never came despite being told twice and they forgot to put in a bucket the bottle we ordered, only realizing it a few mins later. There is also no birthday special, just a little candle on the “sad day at the park” which was not even a cake. Overall though, I recommend to try at least once when you’re in Barcelona.

Tasting menu had interesting dishes - we did the grand cruix. Favorite is probably the fried cod. Had high hopes for the dry aged beef rice but it was way too salty unfortunately. Excellent service and atmosphere though.

El local está bien, pero las mesas están muy juntas y hay bastante ruido. Además, se nota mucho el olor a comida, como si la extracción no fuera suficiente, así que no es un sitio para ir con idea de comer tranquilo. La comida está buena. Los arroces, que son su especialidad, tienen un sabor muy potente y están muy ricos. La ostra gilda y la croqueta de pato Pekín nos gustaron mucho. En cambio, los buñuelos de bacalao apenas saben a bacalao, el sabor es bastante flojo. Los postres no están a la altura del precio, correctos sin más, nada destacable. El servicio fue bastante mejorable. La única excepción fue el sumiller, que nos aconsejó muy bien con el vino, nos explicó su historia y también los platos. Si llega a ser por el resto del personal, no nos enteramos bien de lo que estábamos comiendo. En general, buena comida y arroces muy recomendables, pero el ambiente y el servicio le restan bastante a la experiencia.

Very mediocre. We got the smaller tasting menu and was glad we didn't get the bigger one. Nothing impressed and I had issues with half the dishes. The croissant just doesn't work with the fish. Thr ensaladilla bomb is a mashed up tuna sandwich with too much mayo. The mushroom dish had a mistranslation on the English menu which called it eel. The oxtail is super salty. The rice is under cooked. And I'm sure someone out there likes the tom kha soup ice cream but we couldn't get past the first bite. And I LIKE hot and sour soups. Will not come again. There are so many better places in barcelona.

This place is very cute, with great waiters and servers. They offer amazing wine, but honestly, the food is not amazing. We opted for the grand menu, which included raw shrimp? Most of the food had a fishy taste, and the paella was not good at all, with the shrimp inside not fully cooked. It's a cute experience, but perhaps trying a different menu would be advisable. Also, watch out for the Paella - they will remake it for you if you ask. Added a picture of the delicious wine.
