I just have one comment that I hope will improve the service: Iam a returning customer and every time I come here, I realize that the rinser is not functioning well, and it kind of slows the process. I hope next time I come, I find the rinser fixed! 😎👌

Excellent coffee! It gets very crowded around 11 so you may have to wait a bit but it’s more than worth it. While you’re in the line you can check the flavour wheel you have on top of your head! Similing staff and fast service.

Strong and smooth flat white, very tasty indeed. Dog friendly too, which we really appreciate! Surprisingly, staff neither knew nor cared where their matcha came from, beyond "Japan", so possibly best to avoid matcha here. Fortunately staff DO know their stuff when it comes to coffee, so stick to that and you'll be happy!

Loved this cafe, the coffee was amazing. Each coffee had a flavour profile and it is very accurate too! As an avid coffee and cafe lover this was the first time I tasted the notes in the coffee and so did my partner. The cafe roast the beans themselves and they have alternative milks (oat). I cannot recommend this cafe enough. The staff welcome you and they are very lovely, the interior is also so cool. Truly a highlight of our trip to Barcelona !

This was my favorite coffee shop out of the two weeks I spent in Europe! This was one of the first speciality coffee shops I encountered, and the V60 and cortado I got were both lovely. The shop was nice with just enough seating, they had a great selection of beans, and I thought they did a great job of appealing to both the speciality and more standard coffee crowds. I’d happily go back, and I went more than once when I was in Barcelona!

Hidden Coffee is probably one of the coolest coffee shops in Barcelona. Loved the vibe there, and they do know their coffee. Great location in beautiful El Born makes a perfect stop for coffee and a snack. Service was great even though it was crowded. Highly recommended 👍🏼

El café muy rico, me gusta el detalle de la tarjeta informativa sobre que estás tomando. Solo bebimos no probamos la comida. La atención regular. El lugar lindo. No es muy llamativo pero es fresco y cómodo. Los baños limpios.

El latte en si estaba muy bien, el resto pasable 👌 la zona es agradable para pasear.

Siempre es un placer de disfrutar de un café excepcional en esta cafetería de especialidad. La calidad del producto es impecable, el servicio ha sido cercano y muy profesional, y el ambiente invita a quedarse. Sin duda, un lugar donde se cuidan los detalles y se nota la pasión por hacer las cosas bien. ¡Totalmente recomendable!

There were a small handful of coffee shops I wanted to check out whilst in Barcelona, and this was one of them. It's small and busy, but there are a handful of seats, people seem to come and go so even though it was busy when we walked in, a table appeared by the time we were being served. My partner got an oat milk flat white , which was a decent cup and was presented well with very nice latte art! I opted for the Natural Ethiopian on filter. This was my first time drinking coffee brewed on the Poursteady, as they aren't too common. It was a little underwhelming and the coffee tasted a bit muted, perhaps the ratio it was brewed with wasn't quite to my taste... The staff were friendly enough but didn't say much regarding the coffees available. Overall 3.5⭐ rounded up to 4⭐.

La atmósfera está más o menos, pero no es un lugar cómodo para trabajar. El ruido ambiente es tan alto que no se escucha la música propia incluso con auriculares. Fui para trabajar un rato y tomar un café bueno, pero me decepcionó que ni siquiera tuvieran edulcorante. Además, todas las tazas son del mismo tamaño estándar, sin variación. En general, un local sobrevalorado. El café es sabroso, normal, pero no justifica su precio tan elevado

Tomé un Té Chai con leche de avena, muy gustoso. Lindo el detalle de la flor de anis en la taza. Servicio rápido y amigable. Resulto bastante ruidoso el ambiente.

El cafe es muy bueno. Capuchino 3,30 y tallat 2,20, 3,50 croissant, 4,50 cupcake a mi me resulta caro, tal vez a un extranjero no. La atención no me ha gustado nada, muy fría, y rozando cara de fastidio. Al momento de pagar te piden propina. Lo veo mas para un takeaway

Very noisy place. Like you really can’t hear yourself. Not a place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee, rather order take away and quickly leave. Service is pretty slow and regarless having long queue of people waiting to order, they serve to the tables (which even extends the waiting time for everyone). Coffee is just ok …. Better than in the regular “cafeteria” but as for the specialty coffee place we were not impressed at all. Food - too sweet as for my taste . Maybe it’s a matter of personal preferences. Does not look like a place to be back/add to the favorites . There are so many better / tastier / quieter places in El Born.

Le doy dos por el café. El banana bread es IMPRESENTABLE. Eso no se sirve. Seco, revenido y sin sabor. De verdad, incomestible. Además solo se puede pagar en efectivo si tienes la cantidad fija. Tremendo!

I visited Hidden Coffee Roasters twice this week because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. My first visit was not very positive. I ordered two Americanos and found the acidity extremely high, leaving a sour aftertaste. Since I know this can be a matter of coffee preference, I tried to ask a few questions about the beans. Unfortunately, the staff did not respond, and the overall service felt unfriendly and disengaged. I decided to return today to form a fair opinion. This time I ordered two cappuccinos, one with oat milk and one regular, plus a flat white. I had hoped to order coconut milk, but was told it was only available for matcha. Considering it was coconut barista milk, this seemed unusual. The service again felt unwelcoming. One of my friends was told to return to the queue when she briefly sat down to wait, even though we were already ordering. The interaction felt unnecessarily strict and unfriendly. The lady with short hair in particular came across as very curt, which made us feel uncomfortable. We also ordered a carrot cake, which was good. However, the large tipping screen was placed in front of us immediately, creating an awkward moment that felt more like pressure than an invitation. As for the coffee, the milk was frothed well. The flavour profile simply does not suit my taste. I do not enjoy the fruity, berry notes typical of certain African beans. I prefer deeper, chocolatey flavours, which they do not appear to offer. The concept and interior look appealing, and the products are of reasonable quality, yet the service is consistently disappointing. Based on both visits, I would not recommend this place, especially to customers who value warm and attentive service.

Qué cafetería tan rara. - Excelente café y pésimo servicio. El personal está claramente centrado en acosar a los clientes en lugar de resolver problemas. No me sirvieron un espresso como es debido en una taza, sino que querían servirlo exclusivamente en un vaso de papel, lo cual, en mi opinión, es inaceptable para un espresso. Es extraño que un lugar así no lo entienda. Tuve que irme sin café y con el tono grosero del personal. Me arruinó el día.

Acabo de intentar pedir un manchado, me dicen no lo hacemos. Perfecto le digo - me podes cobrar un latte y hacerme un manchado? Quiero que tenga poco café y la chica Argentina me dijo “tenemos recetas no puedo hacértelo”. Llevo 15 años trabajando en hostelería y nunca escuché algo igual

primera vez en esta cafetería, he esperado un rato pa que me atiendan visto que estaban terminando de chismear las chicas y, al final, me ha atendido la chica con el pelo rapado. que pasó? le he preguntado para un americano y, sin que me explique cómo funciona o cómo sirven un americano, me da este café rápido ya preparado. Yo lo digo que pensaba que fuese de máquina y ella me contesta, con tono maleducado y como si ya lo supiera “entonces tenías que preguntar por un black coffe”. Después de eso ni me ha preguntado si quisiera cambiarlo o pagar una diferencia pa que me cambie ni nada. Hago el mismo trabajo y, el profesional que soy, nunca contestaría a una persona educada o a un cliente en general en esta maniera y sin darle otras opciones o explicaciones anteriores. p.s. esa agua sucia que me sirvió tampoco está buena.

Ridiculously bad service especially by English speaking lead barista who seemed to be the one in charge. We asked for real mugs and were told we could only have them if there was a free seat. Fine — we said we’d stand and drink inside. Then we were told standing isn’t allowed either, so we had to take paper cups if we wanted to drink inside standing. No flexibility, no logic, no hospitality, just rigid rules delivered with attitude. Plenty of coffee places understand customer service. This one doesn’t…. To be fair, the coffee was very good but the experience overall was very unpleasant.
