Estupendo ceviche. Pablo nos atendió muy bien. Gran sitio para brunch con ambiente agradable y acogedor. Me encantó el cinnamon bun con relleno de dulce de leche.

Buena comida, bebida, servicio muy atento. Recomiendo probar el Chimborazo, para mi gusto sería más cómodo comerlo si se dividide en 4 patacones en lugar de 2. Y los benedictinos ecuatorianos, buenísimos. El zumo (Tomebamba) se notaba natural y un café también estaba muy bueno. Además, si te gusta el café que has probado puedes comprarlo. Volveré sin duda!

Después de una noche de locura y desenfreno mi cuerpo necesitaba comida real, buscando algo que me reviviera encontré este lugar. Fue grato para mi encontrar un desayuno consistente, recién hecho y muy sabroso que me devolvió la energía (dejo foto). Aunque estaba lleno, el lugar no era ruidoso. La atención también fue muy agradable, incluso al final me regalaron una estampita/pegatina de una llama 🦙😅, esto aporta a mi reseña gastronómica? Creo no, pero quería decirlo😂

Comida súper sabrosa con toque ecuatoriano. El bikini es una auténtica locura con la salsa de cacahuete, huevos pochados y queso latino. También tomamos una michelada y una cerveza a un precio bueno para ser Barcelona. Volveré seguro.

Excellent experience at Lato Café! The food was really good and the staff were absolutely amazing and friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being over the top. I tried the Bikini Manaba from the specials menu and it was outstanding, perfectly balanced and full of flavor. Great atmosphere and quality all around. Highly recommended if you’re in Barcelona ☕️✨

I came to Lato for the first time in 2022, I found this cute cafe randomly walking around my AirBnb my first time here in Barcelona. I talked to the staff and everyone was so nice. I don’t remember what I ordered, a bao I think. Fast forward to November 2025 I’m back in Barcelona and I had to come back and try their brunch. I ordered the Bikini Manaba, water and an oat matcha. Everything was soooo good! The matcha could have been a bit more matcha-y, but honestly I was so full and satisfied by the food that it was such a minor thing. I leave you a photo. 5/5 I would recommend!

TL;DR 10/10 strongly recommend. Good vibes, even better food and coffee. Food was amazing - some of the best brunch we had in our 8 day stay in Barcelona. We had the tostada picaflor (elevated lox and cream cheese toast) and guayaco pulled pork. Both plates were cleaned with glee. The layers of flavors on the tostada were intricate, yet clean: creaminess from the cream cheese, acidity from the pickled onions, aromatics from fresh dill and mint, and a sweet heat from a pepper sauce and a small amount of dried fruit scattered on the plate. Truly delightful! The pulled pork was well cooked as well without being overcooked and turning to mush. The side of fried yuca was salty, crackly and vegetal - a perfect counterpoint to the savory pork with some pickled veg on top. Last, the coffee is by far the highest quality we’ve had in Barcelona. So good, we ordered a second round after the meal.

This place was top notch! From the food to the service to the place. Such a highlight of my trip that I went back twice. I recommend the Tostada Picaflour, Northern Parallel Ceviche and especially (and I mean this is a must must must) the Key Lime Pancakes! The pancakes were euphoric and perfect. The best brunch I’ve had. Delicious food, gorgeously plated. Master class level work. Better than many Michelin starred restaurants. 4.9 stars on Google Maps for 5k+ reviews is impressive and well deserved. Got the tostada picaflor (salmon, avocado, grilled mango, herbal cream cheese, pickled onion, mint, on sourdough toast, with a zesty tree tomate aji). And the Chimborazo (pulled beef in criolla sauce with guacamole and patacones—plantain—buns). Cleaned the plates. Personable, prompt service. Meal was not rushed. No wait for a table at 1300 on a Sunday. Generous pricing for the quality of food.

A perfect experience! The environment of the restaurant is very good. It's my favorite pink department. It's super cute. The waiter's attitude is also very good. The store can scan the code directly to see the menu, which is very convenient. There is also WiFi and the signal is also very good. A lovely place for brunch. Loved the El Nino avocado toast, it looked great and tasted just as good. The berry pancakes were a little uncooked. If you want the alpaca art on your coffee, make sure to order a cappuccino rather than a latte. The barista kindly gave it to me anyway.
