Fuimos a celebrar nuestro sexto aniversario y no nos defraudó. Pedimos calamares (nada aceitosos), buñuelos de bacalao, salmón exquisito y steak tartar. Todo muy bueno, la única pega que podría poner es que deberían de acompañar éste último con tostaditas. El postre no podía faltar, torrijas riquísimas. Repetiría sin lugar a dudas!! Servicio de 10 y lugar bien ambientado a la par de acogedor.

Super rico. El mejor tataki de mi vida, y los calamares muy buenos también. Estuvimos en la terraza con las estufitas y Florin y John fueron muy amables.

Amazing restaurant with amazing food. Definitely get the Andalusian squid (fried calamari). First time I got the beef with vegetables and it was really good. Second time I came I got the salmon and it was spectacular! Definitely recommend and the staff and Atif were really nice!

I rarely leave reviews on Google Maps, but this time I have to praise Maranpau. We spent four days traveling in Barcelona and tried four Spanish restaurants, and this one was hands down the most delicious. At first, we wanted to order their signature seafood paella, Galician octopus, clams, and a large jug of sangria. The handsome and friendly waiter kindly reminded us that it would be too much food for just two people, so we gave up the clams. And he was absolutely right—we couldn’t even finish the paella in the end, not because it wasn’t good, but because the portion for two people was very generous! I’m not sure how authentic it is, but the Galician octopus (Pulpo a la Gallega) here is truly amazing!!!!!!!!!! Definitely eat it while it’s hot! The octopus with paprika is tender and not chewy at all, the potatoes are soft and fluffy without being heavy, light and refreshing. Dipped in the olive oil underneath, all the natural flavors come together and feel like they’re dancing on my tongue 🔥🔥🔥. The same dish we had at other restaurants afterward was nowhere near as good as Maranpau’s! The sangria was also the best I had during the entire trip. Sadly, we didn’t get to try their steak—the beef displayed at the entrance looked incredibly tempting. If I ever have the chance to come back to Barcelona, I will definitely visit this restaurant again 🥰 (Sorry for using a translator—hope my expression is accurate ❤️)

Maranpau was a wonderful place to eat. The food was delicious. Had the seafood cannelloni and the glass bread with tomato. Both were excellent. Then had the pineapple with crumble and ice cream. Very tasty. Service was wonderful. Florin helped us out with our selection. He was friendly and pleasant. We had our food quickly. Sat outside under a covered tent with heaters although it was a nice day and we may have been fine without it. Very nice atmosphere. Would definitely eat there again.

Truly loved everything about this place! It was right up the road from where I was staying. Ray was super attentive and very welcoming! I came here my first night to just have a drink and some tapas. The shrimp and sangria are amazing! I came back the next night for dinner and had the tenderloin steak and it was delicious! The location is both tucked away and still the right amount of bustling for people watching. Would definitely recommend!

Los buñuelos de bacalao con mayonesa de tinta de calamar fueron uno 10 Lá patatas bravas estaban muy ricas aunque para mi gusto le faltó un poco más de picante Lá fideuá estuvo muy buena, las cigalas y las gambas se sentían frescas, un poco más de Ali Oli creo que hubiera quedado muy bien y por poner un pero diría que la sepia estaba un poco seca El servicio muy atento, rápido y amable. Volvería sin dudas

Fuimos con la oferta del 50% de TheFork he hicimos un par de entrantes que estaban bien pero en raciones un poco escasas , sobre todo el jamón . Para los segundos pedí el solomillo el cual me llegó tibio a la mesa y cuando iba por la mitad ya estaba frío , un poco decepcionante ya que la carne en sí estaba buena . Mi mujer comió el bacalao el cual le encantó y ese si estaba bien cocinado y en su temperatura correcta . El servicio muy profesional y atento . Buen ambiente y muy bonito por dentro .

Destaco el servicio tanto de Jorge como de la chica, muy atentos y amables desde el minuto uno ☝️ Buen ambiente y buena localización en el centro de Barcelona! Pongo 4 estrellas porque las mejillones y pan con tomate se pueden mejorar muchísimo más y recomiendo la entraña 🥩 volveremos!

Nos pedimos de entrantes un tartar que estaba rico y una ensalada de tomate que sin más. Como principales pedimos arroz y chuletón. Nos sacaron todo a la vez, y mientras nos comíamos el arroz el chuletón estaba servido esperando en una mesa al lado. Creemos que eso se podría mejorar.

La comida estuvo deliciosa. Las porciones son perfectas y todo sabe fresco. El servicio deja que desear: sientes que están apresurándote todo el tiempo, y además nos sentaron a la entrada (con la puerta abriéndose todo el tiempo y el viento frío de afuera) mientras que había lugar más adentro. No sería un lugar que repetiría solo por eso.

Buscaba un restaurante para cenar con unos amigos y éste me dió "buena sensación". No pasó de ahí... fallos en la ubicación de la mesa, algo desorganizados, y comida bastante normal. Nos atendió un camarero que fue bastante atento, incluso nos pidió disculpas y tuvo algún detalle con nosotros, pero el caso es que no cenamos lo a gusto que hubiésemos deseado. Probamos la ensaladilla, que estaba bien, los buñuelos, los calamares y los mejillones. De postre, pastel de queso y "torrijas" que eran bizcocho... osea, nada a destacar, la verdad. En definitiva, no fue una mala experiencia, pero tampoco lo suficientemente buena.

Fui con mi pareja a cenar allí, la atención de los camareros fue muy amable (sobretodo uno más mayor). Como entrante pillamos buñuelos de bacalao con mayonesa de pimiento del piquillo, no estaba mal pero nada del otro mundo. De platos Rigatoni a la napolitana con burrata y pesto (supuestamente, yo no lo saboreé), y solomillo de ternera con reducción de vino tinto y miel, patata y verduras salteadas, ambos platos les faltaba mucho sabor no saboreaba ni el pesto en la pasta ni el toque de vino y miel en la ternera y parecían como si no estuviesen recién hecho, estaban algo fríos. Para finalizar nos dio por al menos pedir un postre, y el del día era pastel de queso.. pues oye lo mejor que comimos ahí, ahí la verdad que estaba bastante bueno, sabía bastante a queso pero estaba muy bueno. Decepción en la comida, por su sabor, y la verdad que teniendo esos precios no esperaba eso, si ya valen más que lo normal no esperaba que encima me sepa mal o no me guste. A si que solo puedo recomendar el pastel de queso.
