this is one of my favorite restaurants — every time we have come to the area, we return here! the service is outstanding — friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, but not overbearing. the quality the food is excellent and the portions, though not necessarily large, are filling. i will continue to come back here, because this is truly a great restaurant.

Me: bahn mi. Him: meatball wedge. Apps: German potato salad, broccoli bites. Update: 4/5 Apps: mac & cheese (small but good, a little dry), cornbread (BJ's was better), and pozole (La Taqueria's better). Me: eggplant parmigiana. Him: meatball wedge.

Saigon and The Wifey were bangin’ sandwiches. If we lived closer, we’d come back weekly.

Wow! This place serves absolutely delicious food! Don't let the exterior or relaxed interior fool you- this place is a must visit. The Saigon loaf sando was a perfect blend of flavors: aromatic turkey meatloaf, Thai Basil, daikon, cucumber and aioli, all sandwiched in fresh soft and crunchy bread roll. The cheese steak also got rave reviews. I would travel for these sandwiches!! 👌

I usually find my self in beacon once a month to frequent the shops and on this particular visit I was starving. Found quality eats and to be honest best thing I could’ve ever done. The Reuben chop cheese is a bold, creative spin on two classics, and it absolutely delivers!!!!!! I also tried to the chili and let me say I would die and live for this chili at the same time lol. To whom ever made this food..thank you I love you lol safe to say I will be returning.

Came across Quality Eats while searching for subs on a road trip. Beacon is a super cute town and this is a great stop for a bite to eat. The bread was fire, the sandwiches had just enough of a twist on the classics. Highly recommend!

MY JAW IS ON THE FLOOR for these sandwiches. Went with my partner and we’re super into a quality flavor packed sandwich and these did not disappoint. We got the Roast Beast and the Chopped Reuben and both were phenomenal. The pics on Google are weird and misleading but if you want a fantastic sandwich this is the place.

The front didn't inspire much confidence with all the colors and promises of too many different types of food. But the sandwiches were AMAZING. Glad we went in.

5 stars are not enough stars for how AMAZING my food was. I got the eggplant sabich and I will NEVER forget it. One of the best meals of my LIFE. OMGGGGG SO GOOD. Now I am just devastated the I was only passing through Beacon. Please open a location in DC!!!

Cute sandwich shop, prices were fair for the area and service was fast, staff were also very kind! Really enjoyed the Turkey Club and the combo meal deal so the chips were $1.50. Would visit again!

THE FOOD! We are gluten intolerant, and if the GF buns weren’t ever so slightly crumbly, we wouldn’t have believed they were gluten free! We got the Reuben chop cheese and the Cheesesteak and were very impressed. Interesting and rich flavors, marvelous textures in an unassuming, confusingly branded storefront - not Max’s on Main, not Kitchen Sink, just quality eats! Service was fine, food was amazing, and music on the patio was way too loud so I turned it down (we were alone) and docked a star on ambience. Had to talk my wife off the ledge of trying to buy all their GF buns. Hope to be back soon!!

Whether you’re making the trip up from the city or you’re lucky enough to call Dutchess County home, Beacon Quality Eats is absolutely worth the stop. This spot is serving up some of the best sandwiches in the Hudson Valley—hands down. On a recent visit, I tried the Duck Banh Mi and The Fred—both were phenomenal. The flavors were bold, balanced, and creative, without being overdone. The duck was tender and richly seasoned, and The Fred hit that perfect savory-satisfying spot. And the house-made pastrami? Out. Standing. You can tell it’s made with care and quality from the very first bite. The vibe inside matches the food—laid back, cool, and effortlessly inviting. There’s fantastic street art on the walls, ceiling, and even in the bathroom, all done by a local artist, which gives the place a great energy that fits right into Beacon’s creative spirit. It’s easy to swing by, grab something delicious, and head out to explore the town, or just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu. This place isn’t just a quick stop—it’s a reason to visit Beacon all on its own.

I’m a huge chicken Caesar wrap snob. This blew my mind. Well seasoned chicken thigh, dressed and chopped to perfection. Cute outdoor patio, nice folks working there, overall great vibes.

5 STARS all around! Sit tight for this review, it’s quite detailed because the experience was truly amazing. To begin Hurricane Debbie came strong with torrential downpours, so we arrived to dinner completely drenched! The staff were so accommodating- they could tell my husband and I were cold and uncomfortable and without even asking they brought over T-shirts from their sister restaurant MOD (go check it out delicious burger and chicken sandwich) we could change into at no cost. That was very thoughtful. The food: we enjoyed a summer tasting menu focused on fruits from the region. My personal faves were the “cheddar bay biscuit”, the pasta with corn and the watermelon and tuna. Delicious eats, presented in a detailed manner as each dish was explained as it came out. The ambience- 1000000% the dinner is setup as an intimate shared experience as your sitting at a long table with other diners. At first when we walked in soaked I thought this is gunna suck because we’re already uncomfortable- BUT, it turned out to be a night of lively conversations sharing itinerary ideas for the weekend with both city visitors and locals.

I loved every moment with the food. Each course was prepared with lots of attention to presentation and more importantly, the flavor profiles were rich and balanced perfectly with one another. The food was filling, and the packing of the night felt good, perhaps a tad slow. The staff was very friendly. The main downside is that the space was too loud, and conversation was really hard, the communal tables are small and I felt way too close to the strangers around me. That day the outside space was closed due to weather, I didn't know if it would be more relaxed on a different day.

Super high quality food curated from local farms and artisans… this is the Hudson Valley at its finest! My partner and I just love Kitchen Sink. We’ve been going consistently for over a year and we’ve had unforgettable meals, made real friends, and thoroughly appreciated the special experience KS brings to the community. As local Airbnb hosts we send folks here all the time! Booking a meal here while visiting the area is a must. Their cocktails wine and pairing menu are also so good and always really well done!

Kitchen Sink catered our wedding and it was truly spectacular. Friday night was a fried chicken buffet that our guests could not get enough of. Saturday food came in two batches of amazing, but the first round--our picnic dinner--was really to die for. The grill-top veggies and roasted meats were something that our guests talked to us about for weeks following the wedding. It's hard to call this wedding food, because it was really just an utterly amazing, perfectly designed meal that we got to eat on our most special day. Food aside - the team is also fire. Brian is a master chef and I think Jeff is KS's master of the house - high energy, and makes you just feel fun and festive and special all of the time. HUGE thanks to KS... thank god you have a restaurant we can come back to again and again. OH. And my husband has Celiac Disease. Almost everything was the same except for some pita, pie crust and the fried chicken. But he said his fried chicken is the best he's had. He got to enjoy with everyone else, not be nervous about cross contamination and the guests didn't have to eat strictly gluten free!

2022 Update to my earlier review- because WOW- My family enjoyed the Filipino Pop-up takeout last night, and I’m still dreaming about it. The complex flavors they developed I devoured. I would happily eat any of these soups daily. I highly recommend trying the new KS supper club and pop-ups. It's so lovely to have a switch up, and you always know you are getting the best quality ingredients, local if they can. I can’t wait for the next menu! Absolutely delicious, the flavor development in these dishes is what blows you away. I’ve literally locked the plate. Wonderful gluten free options right on the menu and the menu changes so you always have new items to try. Local ingredients, wines, and ciders. Kitchen Sink is a must, honestly the best restaurant.

I was late for their brunch service, so I came here for their dinner service which was just as good. Kitchen Sink has limited seatings (less than 20 seatings) and I wouldn't be surprised if I have to wait more than 30 minutes during peak times without reservation. Their menu prices were on the steep side considering the portions, but I have to say that their food quality and service was top-notch. I still think about their Pork Al Pastor from time to time...that fatty to lean ratio was just perfect. Definitely a restaurant you have to visit if you are in Beacon!

Having been here many times, I will say the food flavors are always very delicious and well paired. But the last couple of times I’ve been here I’ve been very disappointed - my food has looked like it was literally thrown together and wrapped up… I personally don’t like to post any reviews with any negativity, but my sandwich today literally looked like someone head butted it and then wrapped it up. Aside from that, there were two giant pieces of turkey skin (I think?) in the midst of the pile of meat. Which I know it’s a turkey sandwich but biting into a thick piece of skin definitely made me lose my appetite. Like I said - the food is always delicious. It’s just I do expect a little more with the presentation of the food.

OVER priced and UNDERwhleming. I hate leaving bad reviews but The French Dip sandwich left a lot to be desired. At $18 I was expecting a very good sandwich with flavor and good meat to bread ratio. It lacked both. The shaved steak was unseasoned and a very small portion. Flavorless meat and a smidge of sauce is not enough to make this sandwich worth the price. It hope the other sandwiches are better but unfortunately for me the price is not worth the risk of disappointment.

Cashier insisted there was no way to ring up a $5 grocery item with the sales tax as an attempt to justify charging me $5:50. That was after I had pointed out she had originally rang it up for $7. She said it was impossible to reach a manager or the owner for clarification when I asked, and that the business is “not set up to calculate sales tax” for grocery items (which incidentally are not taxable in New York State). I am disappointed that Beacon Eats is disorganized enough that an employee comes across as dishonest to a customer. It was my third- and last time.
