I was skeptical since I've been a Kanes fan for years. I originally thought Laynes was copycat of Kanes from the appearance, but upon research, I found out it is the other way around. Kanes is total knock off of Laynes. Laynes has way better sauces, fries, and chicken. Their options are much better. I love that they have gravy and the gravy is bomb!! My fries were outstanding, and the salt they put on is divine. Just the perfect amount. The staff was friendly and fast. The drive-through line went all the way put and down the block. There was a line in the store as well, but it didn't slow the speed of us getting our food. They use Sonic chewable ice, so double plus! The sweet tea was meh. It's not horrible, but not the best. Many sauce options. They have spicy option for chicken as well.

It’s located next to the Wendy’s right across from Raising Canes. I don’t like the location because it’s on a busy street. I will say the service is good and although the line might seem long it goes pretty fast. I feel like I cheated on Canes for Laynes. I went there expecting them to be somewhat good. There are many comparisons, but what's undeniably different is Laynes' Spicy chicken fingers. I really am not a spicy person, but I will definitely be back to Laynes for the spicy chicken fingers and peppery Layne sauce everything was nice and hot.

My boyfriend and I decided to get some laynes late last night and everything was good except for the lemonade. It tasted absolutely horrible like it was expired or something. Other than that everything else was great!

When this location first opened it was awesome, now, not so much. I work in Beaumont so I’ve came to Laynes a couple of times to where I’ve been disappointed. On a previous occasion, my food was so salty i literally had to get a napkin and wipe the food off. I couldn’t bring it back because I was on my lunch break and I didn’t have time go back once I opened it. Yesterday 10/4/25 my daughter and I passed through on the way out and ordered us a kids meal. The lady at the window was very friendly and polite so that was a plus but that food. Horrible! This is a prime example of check your food before you drive off in which we didn’t. I got down the road and my daughter and I took our food out and was disappointed. The batter was literally gone off the chicken tenders. I’m not one to complain but this is not what I expected. Hopefully they can get back to where they started and provide exceptional service/food.

Honestly just nothing really impressive to me. Didnt seem like a very good deal for the 5 piece considering the price. The chicken and portion size seemed small. The staff was not exactly friendly. There was no one at Laynes but across the street was packed. I guess I see why now.

I have been to this Layne’s location a couple of times since their opening. Their chicken is more seasoned than their competitors, but it tends to be heavily a on the drier side. The toast is just regular white bread that is buttered and grilled. Their fries are really crispy and are the best part of their meals in my opinion. I have also tried the salted caramel milkshakes, which are a good blend of sweet and salty, but on the thicker side. However, if you are ordering large orders, please check your food and make sure they have everything correct. I recently ordered two of the family packs. One family pack consists of 20 pieces of chicken amongst fries and toasts. My order consisted of one regular family pack and one spicy family pack, which comes out to a total of 40 chicken tenders. After receiving the order, I opened the package at home and realized they had only given me 30 pieces of chicken all regular. I called and the best they could do was provide me the remaining ten of my chicken in the spicy flavor and two free fountain drinks. This was so disappointing, especially since it was for an event. If it was busy, it would have been understandable, but there was not a single soul when I went inside. Overall, the restuarant is a fast food chain is just like any other. However, it is halal for those that have food restrictions, which I think is it’s most redeeming quality and why I gave it an extra star, as there are not many halal options around this small town.

Today 10-21-2025 I went to Laynes for lunch thinking since it was early the food would be fresh…..NOT!!!!! The chicken fingers, fries, and toast were all soggy and it wasnt even 12:00 yet!! I’ve tried Laynes before when they first opened and was disappointed so I decided to try them again hoping they had improved since then! The food had no taste. Everything tasted the same like grease! This is horrible. Please reconsider if you are considering going there! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I just ordered 5 fingers meal with extra toast bread. But They sent 4 fingers with out toast bread!!! I called the store and the lady I spoke just told me come to talk to manager and hang up on my face!!! It’s so disrespectful!!!

Decided to give this place a try.... Chicken was greasy and not crispy, fries were soggy, sauce is ehhh, the toast had an after taste and wasn't appealing and the Coke didn't taste right. I'll stick with Cane's where their chicken is always hot and crispy, fries crispy, their toast is the bomb and their Coca Cola tastes right and so does their Tea! Oh and nobody can copy Cane's sauce😉 Not sure what all these rave reviews are about, but I'm passing! No, Thank You. *****And don't waste your time emailing Carlos because you'll never hear back from him! Who'd have thought🤣
