Don't be fooled by the exterior appearance, as it looks like a bar for older people with tables outside. So don't leave, because inside it's anything but. Kindness, friendliness, and excellent professionalism are the order of the day. The food is nothing short of excellent: a wonderful cured meats appetizer, two first courses, two second courses, side dishes, all drinks including unlimited good wine, dessert, and liqueur, all included in the €40 per person price on Sundays (€35 on weekdays). The interior looks like a cabin, with all the old work tools hanging on the walls. It immediately creates a connection with the other tables... In short, fun and top-notch food!!! Recommended 👍👍👍
I come to Mario's at least twice a year. There's no à la carte menu, and for just €33 per person, you eat like a wedding. It's my favorite place where you leave feeling full and the food is excellent. 8 appetizers, 3 first courses, 2 second courses, dessert, and unlimited bottled wine! #I'm with Mario

Rustic, rustic and welcoming place, excellent typical Lodi cuisine with variations of Piacenza cuisine such as pisarei and beans and Pavese cuisine such as agnolotti with braised meat, with a side dish of cassoeûla for demanding palates, in addition to polenta with braised meat and roasts with roast potatoes, washed down with a good Barbera dell'Oltrepò Pavese, which you absolutely have to try.

An old tavern typical of the Lodi area. Authentic flavors in simple, traditional dishes. From appetizers and cured meats to polenta with an excellent braised beef and tender ribs. The atmosphere is truly osteria-like, very familiar and convivial. It's like being at home 🏠 Compliments, everything is truly delicious and exquisite.

As other reviews say, don't be fooled by appearances and go in. It doesn't have a private parking spot, but there are free parking spaces just a hundred meters away. When we arrived, the appetizers were already on the table, which was nice because the girls started eating right away without having to wait. After the appetizers, I recommend trying all the first courses; we were served three, all very good. Only one dessert, plum tart, but very good. You can also pay with Satispay.
Business lunch. I enjoyed the mixed appetizer but not the two main courses, and I found the €25 per person price excessive for the food. Furthermore, the €25 included wine, which we didn't consume, but the final price remained the same. I absolutely disapprove of the fact that we were asked to pay in cash to avoid issuing a receipt, which I had to explicitly request.
