We were a party of six adults and an infant on a Friday night. We made reservations for 6:45 and were seated immediately. I orderered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, My wife ordered the hill country salad. Other plates ordered was steak with fried shrimp, steak salad, and the baby had macaroni and cheese. The total was $160.

I just went to Saltgrass to celebrate my birthday. It was a great experience, and the steaks were delicious. The service was very good, and management gave me a free dessert as a gift. I appreciate a restaurant that pays attention to details and makes the client feel special every time.

Rosie is our go-to waitress at the Bedford Saltgrass! She remembers our order even though it is usually a month between visits. I tried something different tonight. The tortilla soup! It was excellent, just a tad bit spicy for me yet still edible. Bourbon-glazed pork chops are always tender and juicy and cooked to perfection. Both managers checked in with us to see how the meal was. We could genuinely say excellent! Give them a try. Great service as usual!!!

Saltgrass never misses. We’ve tried plenty of places, but somehow we always end up back at Saltgrass. The food’s always hot, steaks come out cooked exactly how we ask, and the service is just as solid. Very rarely do we have issues but when we have, issue is taken care of immediately! First time eating here, or at any steakhouse. Got a bar seat and the bartender Diana couldn’t have been of greater help. The fries with the new york strip were better than any I’ve tried, can’t wait to bring my family again!

Relax and spacious. Server was polite and professional. She checked on us numerous times during our stay. Manager greeted us before we leave. We ordered the prime rib, cajun sirloin and the grill salmon. Each prepared well and delicious. The meat was done precisely as we requested. Although, the salmon could be less dry, we still enjoyed it. The garden salad was served cold and crisp. The green string bean was roasted with delicious favor.

We started off at Texas Roadhouse which was crowded, and while it is good when done well, has uneven quality. Saltgrass is a level up. All aspects of the food are of high quality, and Caleb our server was attentive to our needs, plus a manager stopped in to wish our daughter a happy birthday. Pricey, but excellent food and service.

Edward and his staff jumped through hoops to help me pull off a last minute business catering event. The chicken was moist and delicious and the sides were cooked to perfection. Our guest really appreciated the wonderful meal and I heard may "great chicken" comments. I highly recommend Saltgrass, Bedford, not only for catering events but for your personal dining pleasure as well.

Absolutely S tier steakhouse. I’ll take a steak from saltgrass any day! It’s soooooo much better than Texas Roadhouse by a landslide. We went in on a Sunday evening and it wasn’t terribly busy, possibly due to the cold weather. The service was phenomenal and the turn around time for our food was surprisingly very quick. My boyfriend got the Silver Star porterhouse and I got the Pat’s ribeye. We both get our steaks medium rare and they most definitely delivered. The steak had a good sear and the perfect amount of fat. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water lmao. The potato soup was by far the best potato soup I’ve had. The mash potatoes and Caesar salad were also good. The asparagus was okay. The only thing we didn’t really like was the bread they serve, but everything else definitely made up for it. It is more expensive than roadhouse, but I can guarantee you it’s worth it.

The steak and salmon were excellent. The baked potato and bread skeler. Our waitress was juggling our drinks well balancing a plate on her head. And I'm super stoked that they brought back the mechanical bull. Bon appetit.

Last night we went straight bar and the Bartender Christy was awesome , she made sure we were good all the time with anything we requested and food was delicious. So if you go ask for Christy to get the service we received

This place is just really solid, the only Salt Grass location we go to now. Servers and managers are always wonderful, food is always fantastic. Doesn't matter what manager is on duty, they are attentive and always smiling. Ed the general manager, Germaine (not sure on the spelling), both great. Ty the server, we've had him several times and he is both extremely professional and really nice. Always polite, doesn't ever frown at the table that stops him 5 times, great server. The food is truly good, drinks are well made. Consistent, delicious, they have new items come out occasionally like the brisket burger, but the entire menu is somehow homey/comforting and polished at the same time. Oh! And if you join their reward program, you get $25 off in your birthday month. You can't go wrong with this reward program. I just used my birthday reward today!

Service was impeccable, with savvy, smiling waitresses. There were about 30 in our party, and they took such great care of us, keeping drink glasses full and serving delicious hot food, all in a timely manner. Everyone's order was handled correctly and cooked just right. Only thing I would change would be to have better lighting so to be able to more easily read the menu. But can't be upset over it when everything else was top notch. I would definitely eat there again.

We went to Salt Grass for a "Christmas" treat for a friend ( we had originally gone to the "Texas Roadhouse" on 121 BUT, it was closed; 'review'to follow). Our server was very friendly and attentive (there were 3 of us). Took our drink order, and returned with drinks (water all around) and warm bread. Gave us plenty of time to peruse the menu, and answered questions about the food. ordered Artichoke w/shrimp & a 'lemon sauce'; suprisingly good, although the 'sundried tomatoes' were tough and difficult to chew. The other 2 folks ordered the 'lunch menu' sirloin steak; one of them was very dissatisfied, as the steak was tough and mostly gristle; certainly NOT worth the cost; the other person seemed to enjoy her steak, but was dissatisfied with the salad she ordered, as she said 'there was too much' salad dressing on it. When I received the check, I asked for (and recieved) a 'military" discount. Overall, I feel the prices were out of line with the entire meal. $72 for LUNCH is way too high!

Elijah was great, our drinks never ran empty! Manager Ed was kind and came by as well. Highly recommend their filet’s! Sweet potato was one of the best as well.

Party of 3 for my 9 year old sons birthday. We were seated promptly and taken care of all night. Jacob was a great knowledgeable server. This is the best Restaurant! The food was amazing and the service was awesome! The food and service here was phenomenal. Kimberly, our waitress was very attentive and personable. She had several tables, but never made our party of three feel left out or forgotten. They had a small issue with the computer in the back which caused a slight delay with our appetizers. It was not a problem at all as they communicated this with us and Kyle, the manager, came out to check on our table. We all ordered ribeyes, which tasted great of course. I would highly recommend giving this location a try. We will be coming back.

Husband and I come to the Bedford location specifically every other month or so for the last 5 years and we’ve never had a bad meal or bad experience. The staff is always so pleasant and the managers are always kind and attentive. The superb staff make this my favorite restaurant. They're always helpful, friendly, and attentive. The meals are excellent with plenty of variety, and prices are fair. Yesterday, I was with a group and Diane, our primary server, was particularly noteworthy. She served our group efficiently and anticipated our needs. Salt Grass Bedford consistently makes dining an easy and pleasant experience.

***Update. Per my conversation with Ed they had myself and my family come in and give them another try. Kyle was the manager on duty and was absolutely awesome. The food was exactly how I remember Salt Grass being known for. Our server was attentive the whole meal and Kyle was very personable and fun to talk to. Great job guys! ***************************************************** This was hands-down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I ordered Pat’s Ribeye, assuming it came with two sides, so I chose Brussels sprouts and smoked mac and cheese, plus mushrooms and sautéed onions. What showed up was a disaster. The mushrooms and onions were ice cold and looked like coagulated grease. The baked potato soup that’s supposed to come with the meal arrived cold, grainy, and completely inedible—nothing like the creamy soup it’s known for. I spoke with the manager, and that somehow made things worse. No apology. No accountability. Just excuses and a half-hearted offer to replace the meal with something I didn’t want. I eventually took a salad just to be done with it, and even that was bad. The ribeye itself was “cooked right” if you ignore the fact that roughly ¾ of it was fat. The mac and cheese was cold, the bread was hard, and absolutely nothing on the plate felt fresh or cared about. Then came the real insult: I was charged for the Brussels sprouts and everything else despite the multiple issues and zero effort to fix them. Not a comp. Not a discount. Not even a sincere apology. Just indifference. This place clearly does not care about food quality or customer experience. Save yourself the money, the time, and the frustration and drive the extra few miles to the Grapevine location. This one is an embarrassment.

My wife and I had a weekend escape to get away from the everyday hassles of life. It was our last day and our last time eating out. Out of 5 upscale restaurants, Nikki and the team at this Salt Grass location were superb! Nikki was by far the best waitress we had all weekend. She went out of her way to ensure my wife's Gluten/Dairy Free allergies were taken care of. The food was outstanding as well. Thank you Nikki for your hard work. Take care of that son of yours!

We were visiting in the area for the past week. This was our third time at a Saltgrass in six days. This was by far the best experience….the manager was engaged and attentive, the place was clean, our server (Drew) was phenomenal! I ordered the same dish the last 3 trips and while it was good at the other restaurants it was definitely the best here! If I could rate higher I would!!!

The only thing I'm mad about is that I didn't try this place sooner!! Especially cause it is so close to where I live😅 Love the atmosphere is was very warm and welcoming 😌 Was seated immediately as soon as I arrived it was late Wednesday evening. They gave me bread💕 and a cute little pitcher with sweet tea so you don't have to worry about refills😊 I got the 'Just Pickles' and these are honestly the best fried pickles I've ever had! I got the Sirloin and Shrimp which came with the option of soup or salad. I went with the Chicken Tortilla Soup and only reason there's no picture of it is because I ate it too fast. It was so delicious that I had a moment like the critic in Ratatouille had where it just brought me back to my childhood☺️ Although I didn't care for the avocado they topped it with. But it was still delicious 🥰 The steak was very tender and had amazing flavor! The shrimp was good, I'm not big on shrimp but I would order this again! The carrot cake was divine😍 and I was told that they make all their desserts in house... so they have a chocolate cake on the menu then I will be trying next time!!! Overall 10000/10 highly recommend ❤️ Will be going again every chance I get😌

Another fabulous part of the Landry's chain of restaurants. It was my first time at this variant. Has the Texas steakhouse decor down to a T. First off I had requested a quiet table as it was a date night with my wife to celebrate my birthday. They have fabulous bread with some sort of honey butter with perhaps a dash of cinnamon added to it. I ended up getting the Bone-in Ribeye with a side of Smoked Mac & Cheese. Absolutely worth it! It also came with a very nice salad with a house Bleu Cheese dressing (loved it!). My wife got their Steak and Shrimp dish. She loved that as well. I think I have mentioned this in a previous post, but if you don't have a Landry's club membership you are missing out on free money. There is no other place where a one time $25 investment gives you yearly $25 benefits for the rest of your life!

My family and I came in Sunday and Christi was our server and she was Amazing!!! Food was great and she even brought the cake out with a candle as we were celebrating 2 birthdays!! We loved her and the food was great! Mike, the manager checked on us as well.

Thank you 👍 If you get the loyalty card, do it through the wait staff, not through the app. They will give you a physical card and ur waitor gets credit. We had an amazing experience. We ordered the center cut fillet and the 16 oz rib eye. Both had amazing tender meat and we're cooked to perfection. The waiter was very kind and got our order, drinks and condiments out perfectly on time. The waiter and the manager constantly checked to make sure not only that our food was good but that we were satisfied. The atmosphere was very nice and gave a texan feel. The table plates and silverware were all clean. There was a hostess up front who sat us immediately. I order from here on Uber eats all the time as well. This is one of the best steakhouses in the area and I will be a happy returning customer for as long as I can.

We came in yesterday after church with a large party, and were accommodated quickly and efficiently. Our main servers were Eye and Christy for our two tables. Eye made sure our requests were made known to the chef as we had food aversions and severe allergies. She asked questions, double-checked and made sure that we were taken care of. Christy handled majority of our appetizers and made sure they were brought to both tables accordingly. The managers Nate and Brady seated us, and checked on us before we left. The experience was great, the staff was kind, the establishment was clean, the food was served hot, and they were all very professional.

We both ordered chicken fried steaks because they are always good. I thought the steaks were as tender this trip as I have remembered them being. Everything was delicious. Afterward, we shared a piece of their homemade carrot cake, which is almost a meal itself. Rosivette checked on us numerous times and a manager came by the table and said hello. The evening was fantastic and we would highly recommend eating at this location.

I also want to mention the Manager I believe his name was Brady, he also was great. I watch him throughout the evening help his wait staff, and interact with the customers. Incredible Steak & 10/10 Service from Nyobie From start to finish, our visit to Saltgrass Steak House was outstanding. Our server, Nyobie, was easily the best server we’ve had in over a year—friendly, energetic, and incredibly attentive. She made sure we never ran out of drinks, explained the menu in detail, and shared her personal favorites which really helped us decide what to order. The steak was absolutely perfect—tender, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the mashed potatoes. It honestly melted in my mouth like butter. The complimentary bread deserves its own shout-out too—warm, soft like a pillow, and paired with butter that melted right into it. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake, and wow—it’s rich. If you love deep chocolate flavor, you’ll love this one. The vanilla ice cream on the side balanced it perfectly, but be warned—it’s huge! Definitely a shareable dessert, and you might still take some home. The only downside of the night was my partner’s blackened redfish—it was just okay. The shrimp on top were flavorful, but the crab tasted imitation-like and the fish itself lacked seasoning. Fries were great though. Still, between the amazing steak, perfect bread, and the top-tier service from both Nyobie and the manager, this meal was easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had all year. Highly recommend Saltgrass if you want great food and even better service.

I was silently crashing out when told the guy that picked up that “I would cry if the bread wasn’t with my order” and he calmly reassured me that it would be there. He doesn’t know but I received a bs write up at work and I was knee deep in a strongly worded email to my manager and her bosses right after I made that call. When I received my order I saw that they gave me a bag full of the bread with the butter. I don’t write reviews often but that made really my day. Saltgrass is my comfort food restaurant go to when I need self care and this located delivered that comfort. Thank you to everyone that made my order today, you guys really made my day a lot less shitty. I really appreciate this.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. You just get a warm feeling as soon as you walk through the doors. The rustic ambience gives it a familiar feel and the staff is extremely chipper. You are very well taken care of. Our server was Gideon, and he was so wonderful. We had some nice discussions and he was very timely on getting us our food and drinks. The restaurant is clean, the bathrooms are clean and the food is fantastic. I had a steak which was cooked excellently. The steak here is so good that it does not even need steak sauce. No hosting was available upon entry but we were recognized by a waitress, then the hostess came and seated us. Our table waitress Brenda was very nice, patient and helpful. She took good care of us and asked twice if everyone was ok and if we needed anything else. Their kids menu is recommended for kids under 8 but I suggest you stick to it for kids up to 12. My son is an eater but he couldn’t bear a brisket burger. Classic chopped steak was good but too much mushroom. New York steak was good but ask waiter for less salt in it while ordering, steak with chimichang from favorites was the best of the 4 plates. Overall food was good and delicious. I would recommend the place but not for a special occasion because atmosphere was little noisy with guest talks and no attractive house music. I will return for a happy hour and try their appetizers on the bar on a regular day.

First time here coming from California, have to admit food was delicious Quale Steak Salmon and drinks were all very delicious. Flavor was on point, gave it a 4 because we were getting rushed out, it was late, but I didn't get to finish my food or have time to order dessert. But I understand maybe they wanted to go home. Besides that, my experience was a good one definitely coming back when I visit Texas again.

Got a 17oz Texas T-bone with a side of garlic mash and gravy. As well as a tortilla soup. Overall delicious food, just wish it was brown gravy with the mash. Delious local beers on tap. Top it all off, had an amazing and very friendly staff. Would definitely visit again if ever in the area.

My husband and I went here for dinner. It was our first time and overall we would come back. Nothing special about the mac or bread but that seafood fondue was delicious! Brussel sprouts and steak were pretty good. We would come back. Mia was an amazing waitress.

First for appetizers I got the fried mushroom 5/10 they were okay then I got the sea food fondeaux that was 9/10 shrimp is creamy and cheesy delicious.not came our entree got the bone in rib eye 8/10 juicy tender had good flavor great steak for sure and for loaded potatoe was good also overall satisfying and good steak house only small issues was complimentary bread they serve bread seems bland and they dont give enough butter other than that. Would recommend to friends and family

Decided to try Saltgrass for a late supper one evening. Even though I arrived a few minutes before posted closing, the server was gracious and extended great service. Many times, staff don’t appreciate clients coming that close to the end of a shift. Didn’t feel that all at this location. Ordered a combo of Chicken and ribs and a sweet potato side. Salad was a good sized portion. The main course was awesome. Chicken perfectly cooked and fall of-the bone ribs were very tasty. Had a hard time finishing the whole dinner .. great place.. will definitely return when in the Dallas area.

Salt grass is a known quantity of decent food and A-ok service. Nothing too special about it. It was delivering on those marks but the crawfish included with my Urban Steak was extremely fishy. I knew it was a risk being out of season but I went for it anyway. The steak, shrimp and sauce was all good flavors. The steak is super thin, but nothing unexpected. It’s just a middle of the road steakhouse chain at the end of the day. Not thing wrong with that, but just don’t expect more.

Not impressed with this place! It took them 40min to serve our food and once it was finally there, it was cold! I had to ask our server to take it back and warm it up. Our server was friendly and apologetic- I give him 5 ⭐️s but the overall experience wasn’t impressive.

If your prices go up - reprint your menus!! The crab cakes were terrible so we sent them back but were still charged for them. When we complained about the bill they took off the crab cakes and then just deleted one item which was supposed to make up for overcharging everything else in the bill. Since the menu was wrong we are just supposed to accept that they did the math right. We have no way of knowing since no one told what we should have been charged. From what the menu said our total should have been $35 before tax. They charged us $47 before tax. Seems like the six items we ordered off the menu all went up $2 each but who can tell for sure. Will not be back!!!

My family of 4 went for desserts on Thanksgiving. We knew it would be busy even with our reservation. Yet, slow and poor service are different. We had to hunt down waiter for refill and asked to go ahead bring out dessert right before the one entree that was ordered at the last minute and nothing. When we waved down the manager, he stated it was because they were waiting on our entree. We asked for it to be packet up and the waiter packed all out desserts with the hot entree .. very disappointed in our visit

Service is always awful here. Slow. 8 minutes to get connected to place my to go order. (Salt grass tells you to order online, however, you can’t if you’re paying cash and it requires you to pay online with a card) Arrived at 615pm to an ehh greetings, I was able to place my order right away this time (usually it takes 5-10 mins waiting) I ordered a brisket burger with ff. I placed the order at 620pm and my burger was ready at 648pm. Almost 30 mins for a burger is wild.

Food was not cooked correctly. We were a party of 10, those who chose med. rare got medium well, to almost well done. Chocolate cake was cold in the middle, and our waitress was overwhelmed and not too friendly. We have had better food and service at Texas Roadhouse

Ordered through Door Dash because I was sick. If I had not been I would have taken the food back to the restaurant. I ordered this for my son on Thanksgiving since our plans got canceled. Thought having something good to eat might make up for not having a Thanksgiving dinner. We were disappointed. The chicken fried steak was so overdone that it was impossible to eat. The batter alone sounded like you were crunching glass. Excessively hard and dry. Then they forgot to include the side item. So, all he had to go with it was soup which he doesn’t eat (but had to choose). Door Dash refunded half for the two issues, but honestly it should have been a full refund since it wasn’t edible. After the refund, I basically paid $10 for the small soup that he had to get as his second item. I still cannot believe this came from a Salt Grass Steakhouse. We’ve never had an issue with the food.
