Went to MRBL for the first time with my family for my birthday. Everything was absolutely delicious from the appetizers of lamb, salmon crispy rice, crab dip to the main meals of various cuts of steak and sides of potato volcano, roasted carrots, Brussels, and Mac and cheese. & a yummy little birthday dessert at the end. JJ was a wonderful and took great care of our table from the beginning to the end of our meal and even offered to take our photos. Cant wait to go back!

Service and overall experience were amazing. The service team was extremely attentive. Food was pretty good. Porterhouse was the only part of the meal we didn’t much care for as it was fully of very chewy tendons that made it difficult to eat. Everything else however was excellent! Definitely recommend the gnocchi and hangar steak

MRBL is an absolute must-do if visiting Cincinnati. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt upscale yet inviting — perfect for a date night, celebration, or just treating yourself to an incredible meal. The service was outstanding! Our server, Mel, was attentive, reliable, and so friendly — she truly made the night special. Every recommendation she made was spot on. The cocktails were fantastic, the sushi and filet were absolutely phenomenal, and the dessert was delicious — all thanks to her great suggestions. MRBL is easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. You can tell the team takes pride in every detail, from presentation to flavor to hospitality. Highly recommend!

My husband surprised me with a dinner reservation at MRBL for my birthday. Courtney and Abby were absolutely amazing and our food was delicious! There was lovely live music and the atmosphere was great. I also had the best dirty martini I have ever had ❤️ I would highly recommend MRBL!

Katelyn, our server, was exceptional. As first-time customers, she provided exceptional assistance and assertiveness. The food and customer service were both five stars. The view is also amazing, especially during sunrise or at night!

This was an absolute amazing experience from the moment you walk in and get in the elevator. We were greeted by a warm and friendly host Buck who proved to me amazing through the whole evening. Our waitress Julie was top tier she really made the evening with her attention to detail and her kindness. The food was seasoned to perfection and delicious the waygu flatbread to die for, the tomahawk was cooked perfectly. The shrimp was the only thing that underwhelmed me it was just covered in ol bay seasoning not my personal fav. But that wasn’t a big deal to me. The view was stunning watched the sun set and then the view of the city lights reflecting off the river was a beautiful sight. It was a special evening spent with my most special person the love of my life. Definitely a special anniversary dinner. They set our table with red roses and gave us a special treat at the end to celebrate.

Absolutely outstanding dinner and service. All the staff were very professional and knowledgeable of the entire menu. Wait staff were great to talk to and very attentive to our needs throughout the dinner. The steaks were cooked perfectly to order and the sides (potato volcano and asparagus) were excellent accompaniments to the steaks. The cocktails, Newport Smoke (made table side) and The Big Apple, tasted great. The cocktail, liquor, and wine menu is extensive so there are plenty of options for everyone. The atmosphere and view of the Cincinnati skyline can't be beat. We will definitely be back.

Came for our ten yr anniversary. When my husband made the reservation online, he made a note of that. When we arrived, the hostess told us happy anniversary and the table had rose petals on it. Food was delicious. They gave us a dessert for our anniversary as well. The atmosphere was beautiful. Also had live music. So great. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful birthday dinner here. Service was amazing. Loved the fried rice and ribeye with compound butter. Plenty of wine options! Has a beautiful view of Cincinnati and perfect to get a table around sunset

Came for our anniversary and are leaving in bliss! I’ve been in the restaurant industry which tends to leave me critical in many ways on how I think things should be, but this place blew me away. Dave was fantastic and others that magically stopped by pulling empty plates or boxing our meal. The atmosphere was very romantic and a fantastic view. The food was so delicious. We had a bottle of Moscato, the Porterhouse for 2 with Brussel sprouts and Truffle Gnocchi (I could make a meal out of this alone.). We will be back! Highly recommend!

I visited MRBL on 11/23 to celebrate my wife and my two-year anniversary, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Our waitress, Summer, was not only incredibly friendly but also gave us great insight into the menu and the restaurant's offerings. The food was out of this world! We ordered the tomahawk steak for two, and it was so generous that we had leftovers to take home. The potato volcano and baked mac and cheese were also delicious and made the perfect sides. My wife and I were both blown away by the quality of everything, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was just perfect. I absolutely recommend MRBL to anyone looking for an upscale spot to celebrate a special occasion!

Fantastic experience. The view is amazing, and seating feels very private and quiet even when the restaurant is full. We had beef Wellington, filet mignon Oscar style, lobster sunkissed roll, crispy Brussels sprouts, and potato volcano. Everything was AMAZING!

Beautiful atmosphere! Views, music, ambience, welcoming service, and delicious food. Service was impeccable. Allowed us the right amount of time between courses and to enjoy company. We had the ribeye, Caesar salad, crispy rice, and potato volcano. Very well plated and very flavorful. If you’re looking for a place to share a meal with family or friends this is the place! 10/10 experience and highly recommend.

This was a wonderful experience. My daughters surprised me with a celebration dinner here. I'd not been here or heard about it. The restaurant had everything top notch, from the atmosphere, the views from the window seating, the service and the food. We started with the muscles as our appetizer along with the infuser sushi. Both were delicious! I had the Wellington and it was perfectly cooked! This is truly an high end dining experience and I highly recommend it! Went back for another exceptional meal. Our server, Darius, was knowledgeable, courteous, and quite pleasant. When one of our meals was not cooked as requested, the response from management was swift and accommodating. We both had a great time. I can't wait to go back!

This place is absolutely amazing. Hands down best food and service for a nice steakhouse in the area. Classy but casual, modern with high end care.

We had never been but will absolutely return! What a wonderful birthday celebration. Treated like a VIP from entering to leaving, from the host to our amazing server Dave who was just so attentive and simply warm and lovely. Food is stunning, scrumptious and everything we wanted and more! Views are spectacular and the restaurant’s decor and ambiance feel luxurious but also so inviting!! Would recommend highly, you will thank yourself for this night out!

A friend selected this restaurant for a dinner outing with our husbands. We didn't know what to expect so we "dressed up" for the evening. I'm glad we did. My husband wore a jacket, no tie. I wore a dress. Others were a little more casual, but this is not a jeans and T-shirt restaurant. It's easy to find. Just beyond Party Source, turn left at the light then an immediate right into the parking lot. We were there on a June Friday night, for a 6:30 dinner, and there were plenty of parking spaces in the surface lot behind the building. We took the elevator, right off the parking lot, up to the 4th floor. (Reservations ARE needed.) We were early, so we had a drink in the bar. A musician, playing a guitar and singing, sat in one corner. He was almost invisible, as conversation volumes surpassed that of his music. I kind of felt bad for him. Most of the tables are "window seats" so there is a view of the river and Downtown Cincinnati from almost anywhere in the restaurant. When we arrived the sun was still high in the sky, so the sunshades were down. Our server told us that they automatically rise as the sun sets, and they did. Service is amazing. I think we had four different people assisting us throughout the evening. Whether it was refilling water, taking drink orders and keeping glasses full, taking food orders and serving the food, or just checking on us and our needs. They were so attentive that we felt like we were the only diners in the restaurant at times. The food is pricey, as their website states. It says to plan for approximately $100 per person. But, it is delicious!!! I am not a steak or sushi person, so I ordered the chicken with mushroom sauce and gnocchi. I'm already craving a repeat of that flavor and it's only been a week since we were there. My husband didn't want to ruin a good steak by asking for something close to "well done", so he ordered pork chops. He said they were the most juicy, tender pork chops he had ever eaten. We had three different shareable sides that we did share among the six of us. We LOVED the Baked Mac & Cheese! This is a perfect location for any special celebration, anniversary, or...just old friends getting together for a nice dinner.

Had a night out with the wife. Wife had the bone in filet which was excellent. Highly recommend. I got the bone in 45 dry aged strip. It was really good. We also got the spicy Dragon sushi roll. The food and atmosphere was great. There was a singer. Lastly, the waitress (Lindsey) was amazing. So knowledgeable and professional. We came when it first open two years ago. The place has definitely improved and grown as a steakhouse. Will be back.

Ask for a seat by the window and enjoy a gorgeous view of the Ohio. We found the service, food, and ambience delightful as was the unexpected bonus of live music we could near from the bar. Did I mention the service? Spot on. The food was delicious. Mussels, sea bass, lemon cake were enjoyed on this evening. Yes it’s a bit expensive but you’re worth it.

On OpenTable, I mentioned my boyfriend’s birthday and let them know to give me any “bells or whistles” they have to make it special for him. They hilariously brought out actual bells and whistles. The whole experience was awesome. Service by our server, Dave, was wonderful, food was great.

The experience at MRBL was top notch! Everyone was attentive, the food was phenomenal, and the live music was spot on. Highly recommend the Brussel sprouts and gnocchi as side dishes and I’m still thinking about the Old Fashioned I had- so good. 10/10 recommend

Everyone has raved about MRBL. We were finally able to check it out for ourselves. It DID NOT disappoint. Best skyline view of Cincinnati. Great drinks and phenomenal food!!

MRBL was nothing short of phenomenal for our dinner. Steak was cooked to perfection and decided to add the MRBL sauce on top for even more flavor. Our server David was excellent, knowledgeable, prompt and informative. He offered great insights regarding the menu to include recommending the shark bite sushi roll, which was the highlight of the meal. The live music and city views were great from any seat in the house. Definitely will return in the future.

This was our first time at MRBL and it was AMAZING!. I planned a surprise birthday dinner for my boyfriend with a group of friends and the hostess and waiter were in on it as well. Everyone else showed u earky to be seated and they put us in a great spot hidden for the surprise and also great view ! Our waiter was so great. He had a great personality, very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks and had great recommendations for us all. He gave a birthday dessert for my boyfriend and brought the table glasses of champagne for free for all of us to toast with in celebration of his birthday which I thought was so thoughtful and nice . The food was OUTSTANDING and so so so good. The staff, food , view and whole experience was incredible and our entire group is already planning to go back in a couple weeks for my birthday as well. Highly recommend and the location is great as it’s easy to get to.

The food was excellent. I had a filet mignon, and it was cooked to perfection. All of the sides were amazing. The old fashioned was the best I have ever had. The service was excellent without being intrusive. We will definitely be coming back!

Excellent experience for our first time! Wonderful atmosphere with a very talented musician supplying the music. Dave was a fantastic server. I had the Beef Wellington, my wife had the Wreck Fish, and we shared the Brussels Sprouts and Truffle Gnocchi. Every bite was better than the last. To top it off, they gave us a Banana Pudding Cake to celebrate my birthday. 10/10. Highly recommend.

Food was 10/10! Service was up there with best dining experience we’ve ever had- Jessica was absolutely incredible! Don’t think we had to ask for a single thing once. Catered PERFECTLY to my gluten allergy. Let us sample when we were unsure of wine preference. Friendly, personable, interactive in the most charming way… and knows her stuff about the resturant selections. Celebrated major life events and so glad we chose MRBL to do so! They really went all out with personalized desserts- thanks Jessica!! Haha! The breath taking view doesn’t hurt either! Highly recommend! Definitely will be back!

Excellent experience! Brandon and Zurina were top notch. Brandon patiently waited on all of us, knew the menu inside and out and knew the exact moment to do everything. Absolute home run by Brandon, give this man a raise. The food was perfectly cooked. My filet was delicious, the mashed potatoes were perfect as was the mac n cheese. Everyone had a great time. If I had more spending cash, I would certainly be there more often. Worth every penny.

Overall a really great experience. We typically do Jeff Ruby’s but tried MRBL and I wasn’t disappointed. Elegant and simple decor. Much less glitzy than Ruby’s but that’s honestly ok. Food quality was fantastic, atmosphere was excellent. The view is gorgeous and the live music provided a warm, cozy setting. Service was good, not excellent but our host/table support Buck was 10/10 star of the show. Crab cake was best I’ve had. Shrimp cocktail great, NKY roll was very fresh. I got the dry aged ribeye what was flavorful and tender. Gnocchi was the best side and Tres Leche was my favorite dessert.

My husband and I ate here for the first time for a date night. Upon arriving, people greeted us and we felt welcomed. The elevator was a nice touch. The space was well lit and nicely decorated. Our server was attentive and explained that MRBL can accommodate to some of our dietary needs. We ordered two mocktails, which tasted delicious. For our entrees, we got the salmon en croute, black tiger shrimps with chimichurri, shark bite roll and mashed potatoes. The food had very good amount of savory flavor. I was surprised the shrimp was seasoned very well. We definitely enjoyed every bite. We were too full for dessert. We will definitely be returning again. I highly recommend. I also suggest paying in cash or debit card to avoid the 3% credit card fee.

Amazing food and service. Great live music Dress code not enforced may eat next to people that just rolled out of bed.

Great service, special shoutout to Uncle Buck who really made our experience wonderful. The food was okay. They were out of some items on a weekend night but everything we did get was good.

I took my daughter, wife, and my wife's parents to MRBL to dinner for some birthday celebrations. The atmosphere and cocktails were great. The crab cake was the best I've ever had, and the sushi was fresh and delicious. The only downside to the evening, was there was a long wait between the apps and the entree, and 2 of the 4 steaks were more on the rare side when we asked for medium. If the waitress / manager asked how the steaks were cooked, I would have made it a point to say something. However, the flavor was great, and that was the only downside to the night. We will be back.

You couldn't ask for a better welcome. The greetings were exceptional by all the staff. We had a early seating and they put almost in the back of the restaurant that was not good for me. However per my friends the mock drinks were delightful and my house Pinot grigio was ok. My friend set this dinner up this dinner for her husband's birthday and asked in advance for the table to be decorated. She was upset didn't happen. (# the end they gave us birthday dsy desserts) . Back to the food. It was just ok, the blue crab spinach dip was more cheesy and minimal crab. The salmon was too rare due to the pastry crust and my friend tried to address her concerns and the server only indicated "I'll let them know". The birthday guest said his lobster wasn't totally done again she gave same reply. I didn't enjoy the Australian waygu steak it was a bit salty I brought entire meal home. This was not a great experience for me or my friends. No one tried to accommodate our concerns. Not worth the price either. But again the staff was friendly and maybe a cool place for drinks and music 🎵 in the future.

We spent over $400 at our table in the bar and Tony or Troy I don’t know his name because he was extremely rude and left us feeling unwelcome the entire time- didn’t introduce himself or anything, we had to ask him his name which followed by us having to ask for steak knives and feeling like we were overstepping since he wasn’t doing his job of providing good service. We’ve come in a few times and it’s been great but we won’t be returning after lastnight. Atmosphere is beautiful, vocalist and music always great, food was very salty. We enjoyed the truffle fries, lamb pops, and the lobster tails best out of what we ordered.

A Tale of Two Visits – Exceptional One Night, Disappointing the Next I’m a frequent visitor of MRBL and have always enjoyed the incredible food, ambiance, and service. My visit on 2/14 was nothing short of phenomenal—everything from the steaks to the atmosphere was perfect, making it a memorable experience. However, my return visit on 2/15 was a completely different story. Upon arriving at the host stand for my 5 PM reservation, I was informed that they couldn’t find it. When I checked my OpenTable app, the reservation was still confirmed, and I showed it to the host. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, I was met with skepticism and essentially accused of making it up—right in front of my guest. It was an incredibly embarrassing and frustrating start to the evening. Eventually, we were seated and ordered two drinks, the lamb lollipops, two filets, volcano mashed potatoes, and gnocchi. While the steaks were excellent as usual, the drinks were underwhelming, and the lamb was disappointing. After spending $235, we left with a sour taste in our mouths—not from the food, but from the experience. It’s disheartening when a restaurant you love and frequent delivers such an inconsistent experience. While I hope this was just an off night, the way the situation at the host stand was handled was unacceptable. Great food should be paired with great hospitality, and I truly hope MRBL takes this feedback into account.

Booked a private room and was over charged by 8 guests totaling over $1,200. Literally, charged me for 8 people that did not exist in the room or in the final reservation that was made. That stings a little for a small local business. I've used Jeff Rubys for my business dinners previous years and decided to give Mrbl a shot and can assure you I will be sticking with Jeff Rubies from here on out.
