Wahoo's Fish Taco

My hubby and I went to go visit his mom for a while and decided to grab dinner. We all agreed Mexican food. So we came across Tacos Nazo. It had great ratings and lots of reviews. I went with an open mind and hungry. We should up and this place had an express take out which they were busy pushing to go ordered and right next door the dine in restaurant. I ordered 2 shrimp 🍤 tacos and got a fish taco for free. I'm not really a fish taco kind of guy but let me tell you this fish taco was banging. It was full of flavor, the batter on the fish was fluffy and cooked excellent. I was blown away with each bite I took. As soon as we got home the chicken burrito was great full of flavor. The shrimp cocktail my mother-in-law ordered was also full of flavor. Also my Jamaica agua fresca was perfect in flavor, not to tart and not too sweet. I highly recommend eating from this authentic Mexican restaurant. You won't be disappointed so stop by and show them some love.

Wow, wow!!! Amazing tacos! Very generous portions and good prices. Note that I ordered the meat tacos with cilantro and onion on the side (this is why you only see meat in the pastor and asada tacos). Fish tacos are out of this world! The taco duros are also very very good. Love the roasted peppers! Highly recommend this restaurant. Very friendly and professional service.

Visiting town and my friends told me I had to try this place. They're right. The fish tacos did not disappoint! They're big and delicious too! Wish we could have a branch in the Bay.

Taco Nazo never disappoints. Every time I visit, the customer service is outstanding—staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely make you feel welcome. Orders are handled quickly and accurately, and they always check in to make sure everything is good. You can tell they care about the experience, not just the food (which is always great). Easily one of my go-to spots.

Isidra provided outstanding customer service from the moment we walked in. It was our first time visiting, and she truly made us feel welcomed by taking the time to greet us warmly and walk us through the menu with patience and care. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and paired perfectly with the exceptional hospitality, creating a wonderful overall experience. We ordered the combo with a shrimp taco and a fish taco, served with rice and beans, and everything was absolutely delicious and well prepared. The agua de sandía was incredibly refreshing and full of flavor. From the food to the service, everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be returning and recommending this place to others.

Great food and wonderful staff, sofia and a few other women helped us out with questions and setting up/cleaning the table. When i forgot my purse she was the first to grab it and give it to the staff for safe keeping. Thanks to her i was able to get my purse back with all my items. Thank you sofia !

Surprisingly incredible taco spot. Service is really good here considering it's a quick sit down restaurant. Al pastor is amazing, asada is good, fish tacos were also good. Their hot sauce and horchata are both delicious. The peppers they give you are sooo good, especially the seasoning they put on it. Parking is a pain in the butt but worth the food!

I absolutely loved my first visit to Taco Nazo! The food was delicious, and I can’t wait to go back. The best part of the experience, though, was the outstanding customer service from Isidra. She welcomed us as soon as we walked in and continued to check on us throughout our meal. It’s so refreshing to see such genuine and attentive customer service! She truly made our visit special!

Great food taste, prices and atmosphere. Family and everyone enjoys the tacos 🌮, location is good. Parking lot is the issue during weekends. When visiting this location, take lots of patience, there isbalways long lines, but the food quality it worth it. Exquisite 🤤👏

Taco Nazo is delicious and this restaurant deserves all of the praise it gets. We were visiting from Colorado and a California friend of ours me tioned Taco Nazo as a must try. We stopped in during their opening time so we didn't deal with any wait which was nice! We ordered the three fish tacos that came with rice, beans, and chips. I will say that I am not a fish taco conesuier so take this as you will, but these were the best fish tacos and tacos in general that I have ever had. The fish taco and the sauce on it was extremely flavorful and delicious! Pair that with the rice and beans and your taste buds are in heaven! The taco was delicious but even eating the rice alone was incredible. I've been to many Mexican restaurants and this is probably the best rice I've had from any of those restaurants. The chips were also incredible! You may be reading this and thinking I'm overselling it, but personally I do think this place is a gem and the thousands of reviews back that up also. I would highly recommend trying it out!

I know they are known for their fish tacos (which are bomb by the way) but don't miss out on their carne asada burrito ask for the spicy salsa to pour on it as you eat. Also the grilled seasoned giant jalapeños they give with the burrito mmm mmm mmm and then wash it all down with an ice cold cerveza! hoo wee! it's making my mouth water just thinking about it!

Best fish and shrimp taco I have ever had! One also gets a free fish taco when you visit for the first time. We went on a Wednesday around 8:30ish and we did not have to wait, the service was quick and the atmosphere was so chill!! Loved it. Will be back!

We went there around 5:30 pm on Sunday. By the time we arrived, there was a line for parking. Luckily, the line moved quickly, and we were inside. The line to order meals moved quickly as well. As we ordered, they placed our order numbers to our assigned table so we didn’t have to look for our table. They had a few employees who looked after us, asking if we needed additional plates, utensils, etc. I ordered two fish taco plate (combo), michelada and ceviche mixto. These items are freshly made so everything tasted delicious!! It was easy to ask for a to-go box, and we left the establishment content! I have no idea as to why I never learned of this taco place..!! It is so good, and I recommend it to anyone who hasn’t tried their fish tacos.

The Disneyland of tacos. AMAZING LOCATION with fish tacos that are to die for 😻. Tacos are fresh, huge, and delicious. You get your money’s worth here. Chill atmosphere, I love the food photos on the walls. Busy location, but that doesn’t stop them from having exceptional customer service! Orders came out quick. Staff were helpful with questions and very friendly. Every table had a tray of tissues and additional sauces. Drink refills are free!! They had two buildings, one building for dine-in and one for pick-up orders. The restrooms were clean and included a baby changing station, which I don’t see often. This place is so packed, they have a parking crew. It can be difficult to find parking here. When we left, the line for cars to park went out to the street. This place is a MUST try if you’re visiting the area or the state.

First time here and Julia helped us and was great from rhe moment we walked in. He helped us understand and the menu and helped us order.. next thing you know bam free fish tacos.. by the way 10/10 on the fish tacos.. fresh hot flaky fish full of flavor. Also ordered shrimp tacos 8/10 I wasnt a fan of the breading but personal preference you might like it. Also 3 pack of tacos Dorados sorry if i spelled it wrong. Im gonna give these a 5/10 bevause they got soggy really fast. But the flavor was great got all the flavors and the potato was my favorite.. Went here for an event but got to taste their well known fish taco…and all I can say is “where the heck have I been???” I drove by this place many time and not noticed til now. They have the restaurant and the drive through/window stand right next to each other…it’s packed most of time for the stand. The restaurant is big, spacious with simple but well decor but got that favor of Mexico heritage feeling onto it. The service is top notch, the foods are just delish and well make - I would recommend the fish and the shrimp but the others are also fantastic too. The fish and the shrimp are moist and well seasoned. The whole taco is well assembled and you can see it as it makes right in front of you. The staff are just friendly and lovely and top notch service. You just feel like being spoiled. Parking can be tough, they do have packed parking lot most of the time but there are street parkings so…good luck.

Oh, how I love my fried fish tacos. Crispy, golden batter, soft flaky (non-fishy) fish, fresh toppings, and some good salsa. If that sounds good to you, Taco Nazo is the place to go. I first tried Taco Nazo years ago, as leftovers from my brother. Even as leftovers, I loved it. Very soon after, I tried it fresh and it just solidified my love of this place. But the great thing about this place is that their fish tacos are great, but so are their shrimp tacos, and Al Pastor, Carne Asada, etc. I would never think to order Potato tacos, but I tried them here, and surprisingly, I liked those too. Not as good as the fish tacos, but it's awesome that they have a vegetarian option. Yeah, so you get it. I love this place. They have a selection of salsas, to personalize your tacos. They also have aqua frescas and a little something that was shared with me is, ask for a mix of pineapple, watermelon, and jamaica, and you get a fruit-punch-esque drink that is delicious. It was recommended by none other than THE Omar, so for me, I dub it "The Omar." Taco Nazo, if you read this, it needs to be listed as that on the menu. With food prices rising so much these days, one thing about this place is that their portion size is good. 2 tacos don't often fill me up, but here, 2 tacos are good. As for the service, they hustle. They are quick, efficient, and nice. For me, customer service goes a long way, so it's just icing on the cake to the great food served here. They do have on site parking, but it is a bit limited. The key is to look extremely confused at the menu. Saying "taco..nazo?" And "what exactly is a dorado taco?" While slightly tilting your head will do the trick. Sometimes I will just walk in, get my taco and leave. I DONT RECOMMEND doing this. Pro tip: it helps if you wear a disguise like glasses and a big nose. I'll even throw in an accent here and there to spice it up. One day Im british, the other Im Somalian. Im a chameleon of sorts when it comes to deed fried fish tacos. They will never know who I truly am. In all seriousness. This place is bomb. They put theyre entire nazussy into my taco!! I highly recommend it!

My coworker had been here and I’ve loved their fish tacos from another chain. This was a huge surprise when I stepped inside. I had no idea how huge it was inside, the food was incredible. I had their three taco combo, carne asada, fish and shrimp tacos with a shrimp ceviche large. The tacos were all delicious in its own style. The ceviche was flavorful and just right. I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items. Parking can be very tricky during peak times, walk or uber if that’s an option. I came on a Sunday at around noon and it was super busy with a very bright vibe. Solid atmosphere overall with excellent customer service too.

I walked in today my mom wanted to try Taco Nazo for her first time. So we rolled out with a party of 8. Yasser greeted us and asked who was new and brought them out a taco each on the house. Rebecca was so patient and sweet with our large order and even accommodated my picky brother. The Aguas and tacos here are great. Once again thank you Rebecca and Yasser you guys make TacoNazo great. 🙏

I’ve only been to their takeout/Express service and omg! The staff is friendly and efficient, the dining area is spotless and spacious. I brought my sister and she loved the taco dorados and fish tacos plus the chiles toreados… I loved my fish taco, also. Had to take the other two home but they were so good!!!

Upon arriving there are two restaurants. The smaller one is Taco Nazo Express for take out. CC only. They have their own private parking lot with a friendly employee guiding you on where to park. The main restaurant has a large dining area with lots of tables. It's very clean and the staff keeps it spotless. Atmosphere is very festive and everyone is happy. Menu on the wall is simple with pictures. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. We ordered the fish tacos, shrimp tacos, and fish ceviche. They are all AMAZING! Prices are extremely reasonable for the freshness and great quality of the ingredients. Great portions. Left feeling nice and full. They have multiple locations. Wish they open one in the South Bay near Torrance. I'd be eating there frequently.

Great place to grab some tacos ,the service and food was amazing top of the line, their packaging quality is badass. I went for a taco on the go and it did hold up well when I got the nearest Beach . I would definitely hit that beach and taco spot always .🙌🏽

This is a California institution for authentic Baja style tacos, specializing in fish and shrimp tacos. The staff is super friendly and genuinely helpful. We've been coming here for years, the vibe is fun, cheerful and always leave us with smiles and satisfaction. There are 2 separate buildings on the property, Taco Nazo Express is for online and take-out orders. However, dining-in at the main restaurant is quite an experience. There's a parking attendant to help direct traffic and keep the safety of the vehicles. You'll be greeted by staff as you line up to see if you need help placing an order. I have my usual 2 fish and 2 shrimp tacos. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients. There are constantly 3-4 staff bussing the tables & cleaning the floor, regularly checking if you need anything, just to notch service all around.

I can't promise whether it's the food, or the California weed, but my experience here was nothing if not surreal. The fish tacos are juicy without being overly greasy, and extremely flavorful and crispy, which should be all you need to know. I'll almost certainly dream about this place tonight.

Everything tastes intentional. I bring everyone here, and it’s one of those rare spots where the reaction is immediate; one bite in and people already know they’re coming back. The staff stays upbeat despite the constant flow, and I’ve genuinely NEVER had a bad experience, which is wild considering how busy it gets. Having a parking attendant should tell you this isn’t a casual suggestion stop... it’s a destination. Dining in is best when everything’s fresh off the line, but even takeout holds up surprisingly well. Parking is still a headache, but at this point it feels like part of the ritual. My Mom told us about her favorite place and it did no disappoint. The fish tacos 🌮 are good, shrimp cocktail okay, beverage selection okay, potato and ricatta cheese tocos are really good, prices okay, the best salsa is in a bottle on the table (disappointed). Parking was crazy line out the door and the have a separate building to order to go and online.

Pretty impressed with the layout of this Taco Nazo. Had a sit down and take out only shops with plenty of parking. Parking attendant as well. It’s card only at the take out side, so heads up. Food order came out quickly for take out and packed really well. Food was delicious, but thought the ceviche was a bit pricy for what you get. Maybe it seems like more on a tostada, but in the to go container seemed like a small portion for the price. The shrimp taco and tacos dorados were pretty good as well. Will have to try the online order next time.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a family member and since I was im cerritos I made the 3min drive lol to have dinner here. My family and I enjoyed the fish battered tacos and the mixed ceviche. I recommend you try these 2 items.

Fantastic quality fish tacos, very similar to the actual Ensenada BC tacos but in LA! Good portions, decent prices. Sghest in ordering on the app to avoid the lines

This restaurant was recommended to me by a family member and since I was im cerritos I made the 3min drive lol to have dinner here. My family and I enjoyed the fish battered tacos and the mixed ceviche. I recommend you try these 2 items.

Pretty impressed with the layout of this Taco Nazo. Had a sit down and take out only shops with plenty of parking. Parking attendant as well. It’s card only at the take out side, so heads up. Food order came out quickly for take out and packed really well. Food was delicious, but thought the ceviche was a bit pricy for what you get. Maybe it seems like more on a tostada, but in the to go container seemed like a small portion for the price. The shrimp taco and tacos dorados were pretty good as well. Will have to try the online order next time.

My Mom told us about her favorite place and it did no disappoint. The fish tacos 🌮 are good, shrimp cocktail okay, beverage selection okay, potato and ricatta cheese tocos are really good, prices okay, the best salsa is in a bottle on the table (disappointed). Parking was crazy line out the door and the have a separate building to order to go and online.

This is our go to place, but not sure if we’ll be coming back. We had order food and I went to go pick up. I had ordered chicken burrito , 2 shrimp taco and asada torta. But when I got home , they had given me Al pastor burrito instead of chicken. Unfortunately, we don’t eat pork. I had called in and even emailed. No response or call back. I wasn’t going to drive back, it takes 15-20 mins. I wish someone would’ve called or respond back through email.

Last night was the second time that I ordered fish tacos and they were not crispy. They obviously used the fish that was previously fried and sitting under a heat lamp. I come her at least once a week and was very disappointed. PLEASE I WILL WAIT FOR FRESH FISH!!!. The crispy fish is what sold me on your tacos. Normally the food here is delicious.
