Thanks to the Bells Sonic for helping us feed the High School band before competition. They came in extra early to make 130 breakfast burritos and had them hot and ready to go at 07:30am.
We had a large order and they got every thing right and were pretty quick to bring it out as well! Everything was delicious!
Young man very polite.
Service was great. Food was excellent. Best Sonic burger I've had in a while. Sonic in Bells knows how to take care of their customers.
We always stop at the Sonic on Hwy. 82 where we get on 69 at Bells going to our place at Lake Fork. I get the strawberry lemonade slush and my wife always gets a tea. We occasionally order food and they are always good and have never gotten our order wrong.
The girl working the front part of the sonic was working all alone. Poor girl was frazzled and doing a decent job of keeping up. So I still give her 5 stars.
I'm a car hop here we are shorthanded bad but the food and staff are amazing people are the best Sonic's I've ever worked for. I work for a few what can I say I'm a Sonic girl at heart come see us
I had an issue with one of my visits and was bad enough that I had to contact corporate. Withing an hour of that conversation the managing owner contacted me directly and spoke to me about what happened. I can't say enough about how nice she was and how good it is to see people passionate about their business and caring for the needs of their customers.
Now this place is the best sonic ask for Sammy he will make everything perfect and he makes u feel like you deserve a great meal every time my drinks were correct ... I mean EVERYTImE and I'm a complicated customer that's picky and I'm reading all the other comments and it could have been the sonic i went through in bells tx cause I would rather eat there tban a five star restaurant cause it feels that way everything was perfect best sevice best food great over look with tx pond green grass and farm life it was quiet personal and correct so over look the othwr comments unless there good !!!! Five stars sonic great job ..... Ohhh and ps they bumped up there pickles to the boars head crisp ones I'm spoiled now!
Laura and Ron are great friendly people who run Sonic. They employ local high school students. This is usually the 1st experience for these kids. Some are great and hit the ground running. Some need extra help. I admire Ron and Laura for their work with these kids. Also the couple supports all local groups. The food is always good. My husband loves the shakes for half price after 8 pm.
We had a great experience at the Bells tx. The sonic drive, this young woman waited on us and was very sweet and caring. Ok I love pickles and onions so every place we go out to eat and get a burger its extra pickles and onions this cheese burger was great lots of pickles and onions sonic drive in. In Bells tx. It's located near a fwy, very noisy background sound, they couldn't hear my order, the kind young man came to our car to take my order, he seemed like the only one working the cars. Chicken strips were tasty and freshly fried.
Overall the site did a great job. People that work there were good however I feel sorry for these guys and girls because they are having to walk outside and take orders because they're intercoms don't, come on Sonic do them better and get them some working equipment so they can do their job and overall they're nice friendly and good service, one more thing Sonic will you get that site's some route 44 cup so we can all enjoy a route 44 drink thank you. Okay since I got down there and I can't put with me and my daughter ordered I had two corn dogs we both had a strawberry slush and she had a large popcorn chicken

It was good as usual. Most time just like getting cherry DP there. They will mix drinks the way you want and tea also.
Good place right off Hwy 82 on Hwy 69 near Bells, Texas between Sherman and Bonham Texas. Good food and drinks. Old fashioned car hop parking or drive through.
Ordered the new top steak sandwich it was great and of course chocolate milkshake and french fries all good thank you
Went to get a breakfast burrito and they ran out of eggs. Instead of asking me to re- order they paid for my breakfast and said next time I come in they will give me a breakfast burrito free of charge. Very kind of them.
Mr and Mrs Jackson are awesome people and run a great establishment... to the point that if a mistake is made they have come to my house to deliver and correct... only reason not a 5 star is because sometimes my cheese sticks Don't have cheese
Food is fresh and people are nice. It is a bit of a wait so if you are in a rush stop somewhere else but otherwise it's great.
This Sonic Location needs to put back the 1st Drive throu Menu that was on the curve going drive thru window so you could decide before you get to the 2nd Drive thru (Where Order is Taken) should save time when placing order. Hopefully someone will looked into this.
This location is consistent with the quality and speed for all of their orders. The staff is friendly for the most part and I really can not complain because though this location is out in the middle of nowhere it is better than most in the metro. Not sure why they always seem to have some issues with the bananas but that's the only complaint I have.
Compared to the other fast food places in town, the food just seems slightly overpriced for what you are getting. But I do love the half priced drinks and slushees, definitely recommend coming during happy hour if you do want to get food and/or drinks here.
I had to wait to order at the drive-thru and at the window it was a little slow, but the guy at the window was super friendly. Seems like they might be understaffed. This location is really close to my house so I will definitely come here often.
Ordered thru the sonic app, I love the availability to order that way and check in when I get to the restaurant. Food was good, came out as expected, the lady who brought the food was great about making sure I had everything I needed.
The poor young man acted like a character from the movie clueless or was really new to the position and was not paying attention to anything they told him about where to take anything and tried to give me someone else's order 5 times ! When I finally received my order it was hot and prepared perfectly I had been craving a chicken fried steak sandwich and was actually able to enjoy it despite my dental issues!!
I ordered a strawberry milkshake, and it was delicious! Super creamy and flavorful. But I did ask for no cherry—and instead, they left off the whipped cream entirely. Who gets a milkshake without whipped cream? That part was a little disappointing, but overall still a tasty treat.
By far one of the better Sonics, we have been too in terms of service, attitude, cleanliness, and time waiting. The food was great too.. except.. my daughter got the chicken strips kids meal and I got the jumbo popcorn chicken because I do not care for the straps and they are crunchier.. since I didn't eat for 10 mins into my drive I didn't realize that my popcorn chicken was legit tore up chicken strips. I know some will say they are the same thing and they are too an extent. I like the drier, crunchy texture of their popcorn chicken so I was disappointed
This particular sonic excels at a couple of things that I really focus on. Their customer service is always great. The carhops are always polite and do an excellent job of getting you everything you need like straws, etc. Secondly, the food does not disappoint. I'm not sure I've ever had a meal at sonic that I wasn't satisfied with. The entire menu seems to be a strong point for this sonic when it comes to actually preparing the food and the taste. The one thing I will say is that when it's busy or sometimes even slightly busy, food can take a while to come out. This isn't as much an issue for me as I know it would be for some other people, but I figured I'd mention it anyway. Also, this is a location that sometimes has a hard time hearing and interpreting an order if you don't order straight off the menu. I've had success getting my order right before, but there have been times where it wasn't exactly how I wanted it. But that's where the great customer service comes in, and if there was a miscommunication then they're happy to make sure they get it fixed for you. Overall, solid location.
I had the double Bacon burger, very disappointed in it. The burger was dry, bacon was well overcooked and crunchy, it was, tuff and hard to eat.
I was ask what sauce I wanted for my chicken strips on both meals, but never got it. But I still tipped the car hop. Sonic in Bells is very inconsistent with getting orders correct.
Good not good. Maybe cooking oil needed to be changed. Did not ask for gravy, but was in my bag and spilled all over everything, including car upholstery.

Simply rude over the order speaker system. We decided not to order and drove away to a different restaurant altogether.
We went for the tuesday night special (1/2 priced burgers) and didnt get the discount and the girl seemed to not really know what she was doing while we were ordering. It shouldn't take 20 minutes to out together our order when I'm going slowly in what I'm asking for. Maybe they're speakers were messed up? I still go but probably not at night. Seems like the people working only are there to get tips.
Food quality has gotten worse if possible and don't get me started. The only reason they have 3 stars is for the poor waitress who shows up and works by herself 99 % of the time.
First and foremost, the Bells Sonic team did a fine job and the food was great. They should receive praise for their work. On to why I'm giving 3 stars, as opposed to 5- I could not check in with mobile app due to ALL of the stalls' screens being offline. I thought it was just the one I pulled into -- nope! All of them. The folks inside were able to track my order down though with no issue. Technical problems happen to the best of us, but might want to get that looked at. It also came as a surprise to me that Sonic, of all places, could run out of both french fries and mozzarella sticks on the same day. This is most likely a supplier issue, or maybe not enough were ordered. Overall, the Bells Sonic has excellent service, but could use some TLC when it comes to logistics and operations. Perhaps my visit was a fluke.
Took over 15/20 minutes to get my food to me, other than that the carhop was super nice and the one who took my order was too.
I got food poisoning on the broccoli and cheese tots was bad sick for aweek and yes went to doctor he said they probably were just setting out instead of keeping cold

Took way too long to get order. Try to call ahead but phones were messed up. 3 minutes just to pace order in drive through and 12 minutes at window. Average should be 5 minutes. Wow.
They do not put limes in their limeade. They are very weak. Tastes like plain carbonated water We have stopped there two times and both were the same.
I repeated my order twice through the intercom speaker even had someone come out to repeat what I wanted for the third time and they still got my order wrong, and then when we told them it wasn’t what we ordered they wanted us to pay for their mistake.
It is completely sad I would rather drive 7 miles to whitewright sonic to get good service and orders made correctly then drive one mile to this joke of a sonic in bells. This soni needs new mamgement and skilled staff. Won't be back ever
Food takes a while to get out. Looking at it there seems to be one lady car hopping who is working her tail side off. The frito wraps came out cold, the chicken wings were good but its a challenge to eat chicken wings in a car with no fork or any type of silverware. I'm glad I keep shop towels in the car because everything was finger food. No straws or napkins were given either. Think next time ill drive right by and give it a friendly wave!
The last several times I have visited this location they have messed up my order and it takes a long time. The car hops need to learn how to count change better and they need to know the menu better. I remember when they used to be caring and Fast about there customers.
You don't go to Sonic because it's good. I go there because it's the only thing close to me, has descent hours of operation and I don't have to cook. They're also over priced for their quality.
three people outside one man waiting for his shake no one was concerned, i was trying to order ten minutes no response, sudsy a little before 4 terrible , gave up
I travel a lot and this is midway on my trip so I use to stop here every week. My last trip I was charged 3 times for the same meal. So my 8 dollar drink and snack cost me over 25. Be careful using their card service. Called repeatedly went by and still no refund. Good luck and I hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else.
This place has the rudest people I have ever encountered. The service is beyond horrible. Everyone looks like they do not want to be there. They act like it is asking to much for them to bring condiments w the meal. I am very disappointed in this establishment.
Food is always bad service is even worse. That location should be shut down and someone with more than a third grade education should be put in charge if they reopen it.
*****COLD BURGERS****the Burgers were cold, the cheese was not even melted, no mayo on the buns and the drinks are always flat. Rather drive a few more miles and go to the one in Melissa.
Been sitting first at order drive thru 10+ minutes and now at window being totally ignored except occasionally glared at. NO wonder everyone drives elsewhere and our SONIC IS AWFUL.
Burger was hard and dry. Asked for no salt and told me everything was already salted . No customer service.
The Bells TX Sonic location is bad. Wait times are very long, orders are quite often made wrong by leaving off items (cheese, bacon, a meat patty when there should be two, Mayo used instead of mustard, etc), many of the menu boards are not working, etc. This location is giving Sonic a bad image.
Would get NO stars. SIGN IN DRIVE THRU says that boats rvs and jetski alowed and yet we were refused service!

Took 5 mins to order a medium sonic blast. Took 15mins to get it. Got a small sonic blast, and the server was rude. Not that many cars for the time, staff needs the be replaced.
The guy at the drive through argued with me on the phone after getting my order completely wrong.
This is the worst sonic I have ever been to. Burger was wrong. Sent it back & it came back cold. Onion rings came out all crushed. Unreal! Place sucked.
The sonic in Bells Texas is the worst experience my family has ever had at a place to eat, they mess up the order every time, they take around half an hour to bring your food even if they are slow, my wife ordered cheese sticks, and there was no cheese in any of them…. If your hungry and want Sonic, do your self and your family a favor and drive to Whitewright or Sherman to get your sonic, don’t waste your money and time at the Bells Sonic!
Very slow for a drive through and also the employees don't understand English I guess cause you have to repeat your order 3 to 4 times.do not go here.our order was still incorrect.
Though I love the Sonic app and the half priced drinks, this location never fails to disappoint. I try and give locations a few chances before posting. The wait is long and often they tell me they don't have what I ordered.
Charged me for nuts and didn't have nuts took way too long for a refund. Ice Cream tasted bad . Hamburgers taste like the meats sour. Quality is bad .won't go back
The carhop didn't have all the items on my order in the bags. She didn't read off the order before handing me my food. She didn't apologize for not having all of my items, she just turned around and went and got them. I worked for Sonic for 4 years, and that has to be the absolute worst service I've ever gotten.
We waited for 20 minutes on 2 drinks and a small thing of chicken poppers. Finally we just left, this location is consistently slow. Just drive the extra mile and go to a different location.

Went through today and got a raspberry lemonade. Took one drink and it tasted rotten. Dumped it in the sink a black chunks came out of the cup. Called the manager and all he said was "oh, sorry you can come get another one" I said no you need to check and clean the machine so no one gets seriously sick and he just said "well, sorry" absolutely horrible and disgusting we will never go back.
If I could give a ZERO I would but no option for that... we arrived at the end of the line at 3:05 time we ordered and sit and sit and sit and sit and more sitting we got our ordered 4:00 in the drive thru and I ordered a number 12 that requires a fork nothing in the bag so I call the store and the employee hung up on me... this one store will keep me from ever going to another sonic again.
I live in bells and this is hands down the slowest sonic I have ever been to. Like I will be in the drive thru line watching my food sit on the counter for 20 minutes before they bring it out to me. It’s so ridiculous.
I have never gone there that my order wasn’t messed up. I was there about 20 minutes ago and ordered 2 chicken sliders. Got home 2 small burgers. This was after I waited in line while some kind of reunion was going on at the window. Every worker came to the window to talk to a girl in a car in line. Then after 5 minutes she drove off. With no order. I have called and let it ring 20 times. No answer
They got my order wrong and the manager said they “had to charge to remake it because the food already left the window” I’ve never had that happen before at a place that messed up the order lol
Not a "fast food" place. Why have a drive thru if the people in the stalls get their food faster. Isn't the point of a drive-thru quick, in and out service. I ordered, pulled up to the window, then watched as they completed order after order and walked in front of and behind my vehicle. Never once did they open the window or acknowledge that I was there. Slower than Whataburger in Denison. Needs a manager/owner with a back bone to get this place in shape. No wonder the sign always days "now hiring". Left with no contact and no food. I will drive to Denison from now on.
Went to order sonic, drove to the window and there was girls flipping me off laughing and gossiping. Horrible customer service, foods alright. definitely not a fan of the workers nor the attitude they have.
My husband and I and our 4 year old daughter just ordered food and the lady took our debit card inside to pay for it. She then came back out 15 minutes later and said their system is not reading the cards and we had to give them back the food. Worst customer service ever! And love how they are okay with taking food from a child! Never coming here again
Just waited 10 minutes in the drive through and never heard a word once again from anyone to order. We saw two non employees leave the inside of the kitchen with drinks in hand, so I assume they were having friends come by rather than waiting on customers. This is the 5th time this has happened. This location should be shut down their customer service is so poor.
When i asked my carhop if they put vanilla and cherry in my dr pepper because it didnt show on the receipt she was rude and told me that she doesnt know and that i can place another order because she has to go. Part of your job is making sure the customer gets what they want. The customer is always right. I mean all i did was ask if they put vanilla and cherry in my drink i didnt ask for attitude or rudeness
This place is in bad shape. Used to stay open late, but now closes at 9 pm. I stopped by before 9, but they already shut down early because of faulty equipment and high employee hours! Corporate wont pay for extra hours or to fix the equipment. Ive known 2 people that has worked there and they both quit because of the condition of this restaurant. I won't be going back, ever.
Around 40 minutes.. that's the time it took to get an order of onion rings and a drink. And there was only one car before me in line. Crazy...
Very slow service. Shakes are never mixed all the way. Burgers are often sloppily put together and fries tend to be undercoocked. Also, they forget to give out straws about 50% of the time.
Can I give NO stars? Slowest place Ive been for "fast" food. After 20 minutes waiting while others were served ahead of me, I finally asked for the manager who didnt seem all too concerned. I do not recommend the Sonic in Bells
They need more help. Sat in the drive thru, the only car for over 20 mins. No one ever came to the window to say sorry or that it would be a few mins. Car after car leaving the order screen bc no one will answer. People in stalls going to the door to check their orders. Crazy.
Traveling through I stopped for some much wanted sweet tea and lunch. The popcorn chicken was overcooked and too hard to chew. The chicken and tater tots didn't have and flavor or salt and were cold and nasty
Order 3 #3s was charged for them, but only got doubles also ordered a 5 piece chicken strips only but ended up getting cinnamon sticks. Can’t get anyone to answer the phone to correct anything! Haven’t been here in forever because of the service I suppose things never change.
They always get my order wrong and then they never bring their change . They say oh let u get your change. Hoping u will say oh just keep the change but when u say ok. They look at u weird. I use to go all the time but not now due to getting my order wrong and expecting a tip. Low 😮💨 blow

The sonic in Bells tx, first gave us incorrect food, walked back over to get correct food and explained that if would take to long would just keep wrong food, the lady grabbed it from me and threw it in the trash. then they wanted me out of drive thru / window. I said just forget it! They were focus on drive thru and not customers there as it already took forever to get food after ordering (and it was not busy at the time). then got back to the truck and husbands fries were over cooked and corny dog was still frozen in the middle. I was only waiting on a jr chilli frito wrap which I know does not take long to throw together. The lady was rude. They also took my receipt from me and did not give it back. When traveling back and forth through this area will not be back!
Ordered off of the app hoping to avoid any confusion as we have to have specific orders due to certain dietary restrictions. Well everything I ordered on my single burger was put on my husbands double burger and literally almost nothing on my burger but meat and cheese. And to top it all off, before we even saw our food, our carhop was throwing the food and drinks through the window and then just walked off… without saying anything. Poor customer service.
Sat in the drive through like for 45 minutes with people inside just staring at us and not even opening the window to say sorry for it taking so long. we were one of two cars that were there. never got food had to leave, wasted almost an hour on someone who shouldn’t be getting paid to do nothing.
I went to sonic at 8:45 to get a grilled cheese after having foot surgery and was unable to walk in anywhere else. The person working came to the door and looked at the drive thru and then proceeded to go and stand by the cash register until it was time to close and turned off the lights. After all the subpar service I received before, I always gave them the benefit of the doubt. This was just terrible service. If you don’t want to work, then quit. Unacceptable.
I pulled in and there was only 1 car there, I pressed the red button and started waiting like the screen told me to. There should be absolutely no reason why I say there for 10 minutes waiting for someone to take my order when there's only 1 other customer there. Laziest employees ever.
I ordered a cheeseburger with fries and a drink. I got the burger and fries and no drink. I ask the carhop about my drink and they said she would go and get me one. When the car hop came back they said it would cost me $2.91 more. I told them that I paid for a meal so why would it cost me. They said I didn't pay for a meal even though I ordered one. Do not go to this Sonic because they overcharge you.
Pulled up to order at the drive through and they repeated our order back incorrectly several times. Surprise surprise, our order was wrong and missing items when we got it 10 minutes later. It then took another 10 minutes for them to just add chilli to our fries. They were nice people as far as service goes but they just didnt have it together. ya know?
