great little pizzeria in Houghton. There aren't many places to eat in Houghton but this place has a nice variety. We enjoyed a pizza and the fried cheese curds were excellent

Whever I have to bring a dish to share at an event, 3 Bums is famous for Garlic Butter Boneless Chicken Wings. They also have a great Bacon Cheeseburger.

Only restaurant option in this area. Lucky we got to taste it. Pizza tasted great and fresh. Good and unique pizza options as well.

New to the area along with coming from Rochester where Pizza is plentiful we were nervous about ordering for the ONLY pizza shop in the area. New to 3 Bums and can't lie we absolutely love them! Not only is service fast, but the people are kind. They have gotten every order here early or on time. The driver is always kind and quick. Food is delicious and arrives hot. 💜💜 Will definitely be a returning costumer.

Friendly service, easy to order take out during these uncertain times. Ordered a Turkey sub and a chicken fingers salad, both were great. Sub was packed with turkey, much more than you get from some other chains. Would order again next time in the area.

Houghton dosent have a lot of food options. Their prices are surprisingly inexpensive. $10 for a premium sub feels under costed in the current market. The food itself is fairly standard pizza and sub stuff. If your in the area and want that style of food you won't be let down.

Been ordering once a week, Fridays, all summer. While always good, tonight’s was spot on all the way around! Ordered for 10 of us, and everyone agreed! Learned that when you order on the app, plan 20 mins later than when it says it will be ready 😀

Haven't eaten here in a while, just recently moved back, but they've always been on point, and I have always enjoyed their food. Chicken finger subs with bacon were the absolute best!

Food is good - even the burgers are excellent when compared to other pizza shops. Warning: If you order through the Slice app, the app will tell u the food is ready when it isn't. You usually have to wait until you get an actual text message saying it's ready before you walk in. Probably a Slice issue, not the restaurant's.

Best pizza ever! My two daughters went to Houghton. We had 3 Bums Pizza every chance we had over the 7 years they were there. Crave their Chicken Wing pizza. No one makes it like they do. It’s the best. Wish they had a location near me! All their food I tried is delicious. My girls loved it too!

The food was good. Ordered a regular c&p pizza. Was hot and fresh, didn't wait long Definitely could use some updating to enjoy the dine-in experience. Would have gave 5 stars but I stood waiting to get a "to go" box for quite a while...even opened and closed the door several times to get the attention of an employee. (I am fully aware they could have been switching shifts, or taking out trash) when I did finally get someone she was very kind and friendly. 1st time I had a macaroni appetizer bite... reminded me of my childhood a bit. Pizza was full of flavor.

Pizza was thin and really good. In town for a soccer tournament and stopped in. No menu on the wall. The worker only had one! The sit down section wasn't the best but I think they probably do more takeout. We would stop in again if in town.

Good pizza 90% of the time, only had issues with pizzas with many toppings, have had Highlanders with underdone crusts. Wings are big and delicious and the calzones are great though think they aren't on the main menu, but any pizza can be made into a calzone with option of sauce inside or on the side. Staff friendliness is a bit hit or miss depending on who is working but you don't interact much with them so it isn't really an issue. Free delivery in Houghton except to a business so that is worth keeping in mind.

It's difficult to review 3 Bums. The pizza was excellent, so 5 stars there. They were doing a brisk carry-out business, but I don't think they are necessarily set up for those choosing to dine-in. Don't expect restaurant style service, I don't think that's their focus My son attended Houghton College (now University) and loved eating their food, and I can see why! So, yes, I would get pizza there again, no question!

We got subs and they were tasty and ample in size. The only draw back was you need to order every thing... Ex. I asked for a turkey with everything and the gentleman at the counter had me go through each item. Even though it's on the menu as turkey with lettuce tomato onion etc. My daughter asked for a steak and cheese and didn't ask for lettuce, tomato etc so she got just that.

A good experience, a sorta quiet place. Staff aren't extremely talkative when I went. Probably ready to be done working for the day, they looked tired. The food had taken awhile to get out, even for the people before me. However it was a good bite nonetheless. I had the Bacon and cheese fries starter with their Baconator Burger pizza. (Lotsa a bacon, I know). Grabbed a Steak Quesadilla to go. Be warned, that Baconator Burger Pizza was BOLD in flavor I kid you not. Got me by surprise with the first few bites. Which I thought was pretty cool. Definitely recommend if you're not in a hurry. And if you really are in that much of a hurry...well. There's a Subway across the street.

When your the only game in town for pizza for miles around, quality and service is not a priority!

Very slow in getting our meal out. Others in front of us received their meal before us. Pizza is good. It is greasy. Chicken wings were good.

They deliver which is amazing... But the downfall is the wait. No matter what ( any time of day ) they are running late. Food is usually good.

Love the wings and pizza - however had a salad and it was way overpriced for a small mix of shredded lettuce, pizza toppings, and "steak".

I have rarely received an order that was actually what I ordered and their response is "tough, then eat somewhere else" when something is said about your order being wrong. Between my family members and myself we have ordered from there quite often so to be treated like that makes me very unhappy. Other than that, they deliver and the food is pretty good if u don't mind eating what u didn't order such as chicken wings being dipped in the wrong sauce or not having toppings or sauces on whatever it is u ordered on a regular basis.

Chicken fingers, wings, and fries were good.. pizza was not great.. pizza was comparable to an off brand frozen pizza.. which would have been cheaper.. however the man who took out order was personable and seemed to care about customers.

Edit: this USED to be my favorite pizza place, but the last 3 times I’ve ordered I’ve had to have the pizza portion of the order remade and even the remake is wrong. Everything else is still great, but I’m tired of the disappointment. The pizza and wings are amazing, haven’t had a bad thing yet. I always have to order when I’m in town!

I normally don’t complain but I am so disappointed with the service lately. Not only do they frequently forget things that I order (sauces, drinks, etc) but they often mess up my orders as well. They offer no refund or accommodation when I complain. I’m actually writing a review today because I ordered a pizza and was told it would arrive in 30-35 minutes. I called them an hour later to be told that they were working on it “now”. Then I waited another 30 minutes for it to arrive. I was told they got busy which I can understand but at least have to curtesy to call your customers if it’s going to take longer than anticipated.

Ordered a 16" pizza, taco salad and cheese bread sticks. Was told 15-20 mins. 45 to 50 mins later we were asked if we were waiting on an order? They brought it out a minute later. The young high school or college kid who took our order could not figure out how to split the pizza in 1/2 making it half pepperoni and half sausage and mushroom. Over all this was by far the worst experience we've ever had and judging by the reviews it's not changing anytime soon.

Got food from here several times to try them out new to the area I got a pizza and the pizza wasn't cut right had to cut it my self ordered a steak salad and there was to much peppers in it not enough meat burgers are good fries were good the chicken was good not sauced properly but still good

I had recently started getting pizza from 3 Bums again. But my last experience was offensive. I called in and ordered a Large White Pizza, all of the onions on half. When I went to pick it up, 3 Bums had a Cheese Sheet with onions on half ready for me. This pizza was for my wife and me. When I complained I was told I got what I ordered. I am fallible and I could have handled the situation better, and I told the cashier that I would not be back. I found it incredulous that the cashier told me that I was wrong, didn't know what I ordered, and they fixed what I ordered. The pizza was paid for, so I took it home. On the way out, the cashier told me to have a nice day.

I ordered a bacon mushroom cheeseburger and a salad last night, the bacon cheeseburger was raw and I had to take my son to the hospital, food poisoning, never order from there again

This is a great place good food. But they need to hire more ppl cuz when you order and it takes more then an hour for your food that's nuts. So get more help to cut down delivery times.

This place was so dirty stopped off at 11am on the way to Letchworth. The trash cans were filled to the top the bathroom was that of a gas station. Pee all over the floor and toilet and they had to have been playing a game on who would take the trash out first because paper towels were piled high! I would not recommend them at all and bot even 1 picture on the inside ...that was an odd one.

Ordered a pizza for delivery tasted like soap will not order from them ever again

We have ordered for years and lately every order we get is wrong and always at least a hour late. And when I called to report it the employees were ungodly nasty we will not be ordering there any more. Once a week atleast we spend 100$ and get ripped off every time will not recommend

The restaurant is dirty!!! The floors and tables were sticky, the pitcher they gave us ice In was covered in grease film, the bathroom had no toilet paper and looked like it never saw a mop!!! The lady at the register was very friendly which is the only appealing feature.

We have ordered locally from them with pride and all of that changed this evening. We ordered the exact same thing we have ordered the last five times through the slice app and it was always good but this time they added an ingredient that was not listed on their menu that THEY provided to the slice app. When I addressed this with slice they were only going to give us a $5 credit when we paid $17! I contacted the establishment and along with a generous hang up from there manager I was told the food was NOT going to be remade and a refund was NOT guaranteed because it of course was someone else's fault. I was appalled. A local restaurant and this how you show gratitude to your customers? No thanks. I'll take my business elswhere.

2hrs before delivery, no eating utensils

Im new to the area and will never come back or tell anyone to go here. We asked for thick crust it wasnt and i got wings and they were raw so i took them back and the girls there didnt seem like they knew what they were doing. I paid with a gift certificate and that seemed to mess them up when i asked for a refund and they miused the amount for the wings insted of added it to what was left on my certificate

This place is dirty. Floor and tables sticky. Food took forever. Waited over an hour. My husband order a Bacon cheese burger fries and mac and cheese wedges I order a steak flatbread sandwich and onion petels. There was no bacon on the burger and no onion petels. We asked about them and they said it was never on the order. I give up never going back to this filthy pizza shop.

Got a fish fry, it gets here and they hand me my food and say sorry the fish is so small. my paper recipe was bigger.. nothing they can do the said . It's the fish there sending. SMH worst 30$ dinner ive ever had from there...

Worst experience I have ever had, I ordered a ceaser salad with blue cheese, instead I got Italian dressing, no cucumbers, also ordered a pizza sub, mushrooms are burnt, was told 35 mins, it was almost a hour before I got my order, the cashier can't get the orders correct, didn't apologize for me having to wait longer, very disappointed, so I will order from the food truck at Rushford lake or Corner Cafe in Fillmore

I order here every week sometimes more then once a week. Ordered a cheese steak yesterday absolutely disgusting the meat fell right out of the grease soaked bread. I brought the hoagies back after work to only get an attitude from the cashier and no refund or replace at another date.

Absolutely disgusted with 3 Bums Pizza. We came in at 2pm on Sunday afternoon to an empty restaurant. This should have been our first clue to leave. After waiting a few moments, a girl comes out from the back and asks us what we want. We needed another moment with the menu since there was only 1 sticky, dirty menu for us to look at. She takes off back into the back and returns about 5 minutes later. We place our order and are told 15-20 minutes. 30 minutes later we got our food. The “loaded” fries were over cooked, burnt and unsalted. The pizza was not cut all the way through. We were offered no silverware, Parmesan, garlic, pepper etc. No one ever came out of the back after bring our food out. We finally left, taking the pizza home to attempt to eat it. This did not happen! The crust is worse than a frozen pizza, the sauce is put on in globs, and the meats are almost non existent. We took 2 bites before throwing it away. Ridiculous to spend $40+ on pizza and fries just to throw them away. No way to let anyone know you’re dissatisfied with the food when they are all hiding in the back. Save your money and a stomach ache and just buy a frozen pizza, you’ll be better off.

My husband spent 60 dollars on the combo pizza wings garlic bread and they didn’t bring all of the wings and the garlic bread and soda they said oh we will go bring it back to you they got back called him and said you didn’t pay for it wth we totally did and if we didn’t then that’s your fault for not charging properly for what we ordered so we won’t order from here any more and we did a lot.

RUN LIKE HELL. While you're at it call the Health Department because I promise you that you should. I ordered a salad. Parked directly outside the front window watching staff. Not a SINGLE staff member had gloves on their hands. I watched one girl in a tye dye shirt make wraps while licking her fingers twice. The gal who made my salad kept wiping her nose. And, another stood there chewing on her fingers. Watched a guy toss wings in a bowl and take them out of the sauce with his fingers, again no gloves. I went in and demanded my salad be remade and that I was watching them. I warned them that I would be calling the health department. The girl was shaking and rattled the entire time. However, I took pictures from outside the window and they should have been ashamed. She claimed she was a manager. If that's the case, the owner needs new staff. The salad was delicious in the end when made properly, but proper safety and health precautions should be taken in any kitchen. Licking your fingers and wiping your nose before touching others food is absolutely DISGUSTING. I hope the Health Department pays this establishment a few hefty visits. They need it.

Terrible experience, 3rd time we have ordered there hoping it would change.They tell you 40mins, 1hr and 10 mins later it is done. Lost my business. If it's going to be longer just be honest. Sat at your restaurant for almost twice the expected time...

Where to start the place was D.O.A but wanted to give it a try. I had chicken finger sub which was nothing to write home about and my wife ordered a meatball sub it was gross the sauce was bland the meatballs were frozen and freezer burnt it damn near made her sick. the one reason it got one star was the counter kid was nice and the cheese curds were too. I tried to wait for the counter help to come back but never did till we had enough and just left... Dam wish it would have been better

Fed up with this place. We've been ordering from here for a couple years (no where else to go around here) and have just dealt with minor issues but it's ridiculous lately. When you call to place an order it is busy every time for quite a few minutes, I swear they take the phone off the hook. When you go there to pick it up it takes the kids they have working there 5 minutes to come out of the back to acknowledge you are there. Then they hide away again until your food is ready, which is always 20minutes after they say it will be done. No customer service. Don't bother having them deliver it will take 2 hrs even if you live 4 miles away. The restaurant is filthy. The food gets worse every time. I could go on and on. The owner needs to take responsibility NOW and fix these issues. Have some pride in your business.

My wife called for delivery they told her it was going to be an hour delivery it's been like an hour and 30 minutes now and I called over a hundred times within 20 minutes and it just kept saying line busy I find it hard to believe that the line was busy for over 20 minutes

I have been ordering Pizza here for over 20 years. Always very good, I usually order canzone. I ordered a Hawaiian Pizza last night, July 2,2025, and the pineapple tasted bad. I ate one slice, not the pineapple after picking it off. I thought maybe it was me. But then today July 3. 2025 at 3:30 pm I warmed it up, and again the pineapple is bad. It just ruined my Pizza. I called and talked to the manager. She apologize but did not offer a replacement Pizza. I feel I should get another Pizza in it's place. I eat a lot of pizza!! I know when one is bad.

Ordered food at 7:03pm and told a hour for delivery. After a hour and 15 min I call and see what was going on and they said they are waiting for their driver and then I call back to see if it would be faster for me to com3 get it and they said they will be ready in 15 min. So went to get the order and sat there for a half hour. Got my food at 8:48. Was told they were very busy but didn't see anyone in there when we got there and only 2 people came in for a order.

Second time ordering from here and I’m beyond disappointed once again. I ordered a taco salad and was told 20 minutes. I got there after 25 and it still wasn’t ready. I had to wait about another 10 minutes. When I got the salad, the “chips” were literally about a tablespoon Dorito crumbs. There wasn’t any meat on it to I had to ask for it to be fixed. When I finally got to eat it, the meat was cold but burnt, looked so old and tasted like 5 day old chili. The nacho cheese sauce was cold. Complete inedible. my coworker ordered cheese curds and is still waiting for them. It’s been over an hour. Save your money and get food elsewhere.

I came here to pick up some subs for visiting family. It was 4 six inch subs that we ordered around 4:45ish. I went in when they said the food would be ready by around 5:45ish. I waited at the counter for 10 minutes for a person to come to the desk, and by that time the line was out the door. I sat down until a bit after 7:00 or so for the subs, and couldn’t leave since we ordered online and already paid for it. The subs were okay, and a bit cold. I like supporting the small businesses in the area and I usually never write negative reviews, but this is the third time it has happened since the beginning of the year that I have waited more than an hour for a small item like a sub. I get that things get busy, but even on days where there isn’t anyone in the restaurant , it is still the same. They just need more staff on hand, as it is extremely slow to the point of contemplating just leaving.

When I called to complain they put me on hold then said oh sorry have a good day and hung up Terrible service terrible food, if you like an all lettuce and tomato sub it might be your place but I wanted meat on it and that it barely has, and when you call to complain they don’t care, one of them places that wants the money but don’t care about the customer $28 for subs that aren’t even eatable so wasted that money plus had to find someplace else to eat DONT RECOMMEND !! To your response: WONT be a next time, the girl at the counter was extremely rude when I called to complain and just said oh sorry have a good day and hung up!! With her attitude you people will lose alot of business and because your not willing to make it right when you screw up which I’ve seen in other reviews.
