Went to mumtax curry house Benidorm on Friday night, the welcome and attentive staff were great the food was excellent ( we had the 44 euro special menu for 2 people which included poppadom starter then onion bhari 2main course rice naan, and a bottle of wine. All included great value for 2 people if you are in Benidorm I would highly recommend Muntax which is near the hotel Marina. They do carry out as well with a few people picking up during our meal.

Found this place on our last night in benidorm,wow the food and service was amazing.we had the combination starter which was full of flavou,for mains i had buttered chicken with garlic rice,definitely packed a punch with flavour and chicken was so tender and didn't taste like it was cooked 2 days ago like alot of Indian restaurants.waiter was so pleasant and attentive even let us rest for 10 min before mains came out.will definitely be back when in benidorm again

I wish this curry house was in my home country, that’s how good it is!! I’d honestly come here every week if I could. I was blown away by both the flavours and the service. The staff were very welcoming and attentive throughout. The onion bhajis were on another level, they had super tasty seasoning that I’ve never tasted before that made them really stand out. I had the rogan josh and it was genuinely the best I’ve ever had, and I don’t say that lightly. We got the couple’s offer for €44 (2 curries, starters, popadoms, drinks, a naan and rice) and everything was delicious. Amazing value and an excellent meal.
The food was really nice, the Currys were really tasty and meat was very tender. The couples offer was really good value, would recommend. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back.
The curries were absolutely delicious. We went for the couples deal, which includes 2 poppadoms, 2 samosa starters, 2 mains, 2 sides, and either beers or a bottle of wine, all for £42. A fantastic deal, especially considering how tasty the food was. We also ordered two children's chicken kormas, which were the perfect portion size. The boys finished every bite. The restaurant is very child friendly and made the boys feel really welcome, which made the experience even better for us as a family. I would highly recommend this place. The service was outstanding. The waiter was incredibly attentive without being intrusive. Great food, excellent service, and very reasonably priced.

We've just returned from benidorm as a "teen age" family of four and we had a great time! This place deserves a mention as a brilliant Indian restaurant. We visited twice in 7 nights and both times the food and service was exemplary! Amongst some dodgy Brithish food... Mumtaz stood out as "nice" food; served well! I would definitely recommend if you're a curry loving traveler in the area!! We will definitely return if we're ever back in Benidorm... thanks guys, you were great!! 👍

It was the first time my wife and I had ever been to an Indian restaurant, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. We asked the waiter to surprise us, and he was extremely friendly and kind, patiently explaining everything and offering excellent recommendations, since we were completely unfamiliar with Indian cuisine. We chose the special Couple Offer menu for €44, which included papadum, naan, rice, chicken, and lamb. Everything was perfectly cooked and incredibly tasty. The lamb was literally melting in the mouth, the sauces were amazing, and the portions were very generous — we left more than full ! Thank you for the great suggestions and warm hospitality ! It was a truly memorable experience. Next time we’re in Benidorm, we’ll definitely come back. We warmly recommend this restaurant !
A few negatives online, but I don’t see why, coming from a place with great curry houses, our expectations are always low. However the food was delicious and on par with any of our regular haunts back home. Based on our visit this is a 4.8 on Tripadvisor all day long. Polite team prompt hot delicious food and very good value. I would revisit without hesitation, in fact I’m considering a takeaway for later on I’m out stay here in Benidorm. It is clear these guys really care, which is not always the case in tourist hotspots. Thanks and well done to the Mumtaz team!

Absolutely loved this place! The food tastes so authentic—full of rich flavors and spices that reminded me of home-cooked meals. The chicken karahi and malai boti were incredible, the naan and tandori chapati was fresh and soft. Staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome. If you want real Indian food, this is the spot!
Spot on, absolutely stupendous curry house. It was faultless. Lamb was delicious and moist, everything was tasty and scrumptious and it was cooked to perfection. I’d recommend it to anyone who’s out in Benidorm

Best in Benidom, amazing food, haven’t tasted better than this in my whole and I LOVE Indian food. Korma with lemon rice is a flavor bomb combo. Please do take the trip here, you won’t regret it at all. Thanks to the lovely staff. Top kvalitet 10/10
This is a really good restaurant to visit with family. The service was excellent, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Both Spanish and English are spoken here, which makes communication easy.
Great place to eat out in Benidorm. The food here is fantastic, very tasty, large portions , hot and well presented. It's all freshly cooked whilst you wait , and all reasonable priced .Drinks are also available. Easy wheel chair access. The family who run it are friendly and very welcoming . There's indoor and outdoor eating areas . We went here three times and will definitely be using again and recommend it .

Highly recommend this place for cheap, hot, freshly cooked, authentic desi food. The lovely, friendly, family staff also catered to all preferences / needs. Late night curry 💪 very friendly and awesome food. Back again 6months on still the same perfection . Again no wonder it’s number 1 !!!! Utterly spot on correct taste for dish type , piping hot ( see video it’s still bubbling while I’m eating ) served fast quality ingredients. An English man’s dream. Impeccable service. Get here and get a banging curry as good as home town !!! Genuinely.

7,50€ por un pollo al curry que trae contado 5 pedacitos de pollo.. me parece bastante caro. Y te “penalizan” si haces un pedido menor a 10€ cobrando un euro y pico más. Le doy 2 Estrellas porque no está mala la comida. Me parece caro para las porciones que son.

Sólo puedo comentar que al día siguiente tuve vómitos todo el día y estuve una semana con acidez, ardor, y fiebre... :(
No tienen los horarios actualizados o no cumplen con ellos, no lo sé. Hemos venido hasta aquí pensando que estaría abierto y no lo está.

Muy mala experiencia. Vimos las recomendaciones en TripAdvisor y fuimos. El personal nada amable, la comida ( que tenemos mucha experiencia en comida india) de mala calidad y sin sabor, el pan estaba crudo y nada de recién hecho. Precio caro para lo que te ofrecen, no volveremos. Tienen mucho que mejorar, sobre todo en el trato al cliente!
Hemos venido pensando que estaba abierto, como ponía en el perfil de Google, y resulta que está cerrado por vacaciones hasta febrero. La comida es muy buena, pero no es la primera vez que ocurre lo mismo. Deberían actualizar su horario.
