Great choice of food and drink. We had lovely tapas and sangria, among others things and the service was excellent. Generally relaxed atmosphere with very pleasant clientele. Best to book in advance. It's worth it.

Can't rate this place high enough. Lovely friendly staff . Had 4 tapas and a jug of beer for €11 and it wad huge portions and so we'll displayed and tasty. You know it's good when the locals come in for tapas

The food here is spot on. Everything is freshly prepared while you wait and doesn't leave a big dent in yor wallet.

This is a hidden gem in Benidorm for sure. The food is of the very highest quality. You can really tell that the guys that run it care about food a lot. The only negative is the time it can take to get the food. If your choice is quality food over waiting times then this is probably the best place in the town.

Great place to relax and enjoy the family atmosphere and food. Clean, modern and comfortable and easily accessible for wheelchair users, including the toilets. Music to suit your ears. It doesn't deafen you and people speak to each other. It's a definite family run bar! I definitely recommend it.

I had read the reviews and went on the hunt with my best mate (who is a bit of a food snob, from France). OMG she and I had the best food in the New Town ever. Fantastic place to eat. Fresh delicious food. I have coeliac disorder and struggled to find anywhere to eat out safely whilst in Benidorm, some restaurants even shook their heads when I mentioned my condition but not Stars Bar, they were very accommodating and my meal was the best meal I’d eaten out in the whole time I was in Benidorm with friends, which was just over a month. UK restaurants could learn a lot from the people that run/own this place. It’s hard eating out when you have coeliac disorder so to find this place was amazing, thank you for restoring my faith in eating out.

This place is a hidden gem. Family run bar restaurant which serves the best food at the best prices. The morrocan chicken is beautiful and i had it with new potatoes smothered in butter a massive salad and crusty bread i didnt leave a scrap . Everything freshly cooked . It's a great place here. Came here twice with my daughter last week after reading all the good reviews. Yes, OK some people have said it's not the quickest service, but, it's family run, food is fresh and quite frankly it was fabulous. Great value tapas with beer, wine or sangria. I'm back out there soon on my own, all inclusive but I will be going here a few times as its that good. Everyone was very pleasant and never saw or heard them being rude whatsoever! Plus, an amazing suntrap! Keep up the good work!!

We visited Stars Lounge Bar and, honestly, the food, service and overall atmosphere was truly worthy of 5 stars and more! In the 30 years I've been going to Benidorm, it is the best food I have had, as everything was homemade, fresh and it was evident that the finest ingredients were used. From the gentleman who served us in the bar to the lady who brought us our food, the service really couldn't have been any better. Calm, professional, and friendly. Thank you Stars Lounge Bar for an overall very positive dining experience. And I know we'll definitely be visiting again in the near future.

We came heŕe around 7 years ago when it first opened. Still super good food very reasonable. The place is spotless. Service is slower but this is because the food is freshly made. Thanks Stars for for feeding me and my 2 daughtersx see you again soon.

Fabulous food and not a chip in sight. What a refreshing change. I would highly recommend the antipasti sharing plate but whatever you choose don't forget to bring your appetite. This family run bar gets very busy, as good bars do. If possible it is advisable to book your table.

Martin and the girls gave a fantastic place here, drinks are reasonably priced. Food is amazing but you have to book in advance, well recommend. You can sit there all day lovely little sun trap.

Been to Benidorm about 20 times..1st time in here ...Found it on my last day !.Best pint and best food in Benidorm...Excellent ..Just Excellent...No point saying anything else apart from Excellent.

What a nice bar staff was extremely friendly and helpful. So impressed we booked next sunday lunch there. Not much of an out look but a nice garden patio feeling location. Try it well recommended. The before comments were made after just one visit, two years ago. so to be certain we can stand by them we thought we would continue going to find some reason to remove a star our two. Well we're now part of the furnishings, and the thing is we meet more people who think exactly the same.

What a nice lounge bar is the Star Lounge bar. A nice family business where you are helped extremely friendly. Our favorites are the shrimps in garlic and the garnished fried shrimps with chili sauce. Our opinion is that the Star Lounge bar is an absolute must. Thanks for the wonderful moments.

We saw this restaurant on TripAdvisor with good reviews. We're here right now because of it. Only for a few days. Just had the Garlic Prawns. Was so nice forgot to take a photo but have them. Save the bread to the end to soak up the garlic butter. I had to stop myself from slurping the bowl. Now have chicken burger but added the dirty burger but with garlic new potatoes. Mmmm

Me and my partners family came here during our visit to Benidorm and spent so many nights drinking your superb beer (for a bloody good price too) feeling at home, and having a right good time 🤍 My partners mam and dad are soon returning and have nonstop talked about how they cannot wait to return! I am very jealous as I’d love to return too 🤣🥰

This is a great little restaurant a couple of blocks from the beach. They have a wide variety of fresh food, serving delicious healthy meals. The staff are very friendly so waiting a bit of time for your food actually became the best part of my stay in Benidorm. This is not a young persons party bar, rather a quiet place with older clientele which suits me at 50+ annd a great place to meet new people. 5 stars from me.

Always blown away by the amazing standards and quality of your food and have returned time and again, year on year. It's always a good sign when locals, both spanish and English, eat at a restaurant. The locals know best 👌 I can't wait until next year, but I may have to have a go at home making the pan fried potatoes and my own alioli.

Updated: This place was recommended to me when I was looking for a decent salad in Benidorm even though it was out of my way, it was worth it. This was a Moroccan chicken salad with yogurt & mint dressing, it was lush. I asked which dressing they recommended as you can pick any on their list. Definitely a bit different to the standard, fresh raspberries and blueberries were sprinkled on it too. I also got a draft pinta of Alhambra, decent head on it. Next time I'll be bringing my boyf, the ultimate salad is calling my name... They also do afternoon tea, tapas, etc. We've been back here repeatedly. Always for a pint, my favourite food they do is the ultimate salad usually with the coronation chicken, greek salad & roasted garlic potatoes. 🥗🥗🥗 My man's had different ones, their burger, their sloppy Joe's & their Moroccan chicken main, all tasty & made fresh to order.

Found this place on Facebook and it did Not disappoint. The antipasto Plato was amazing and we could not finish it with 2 people. Super cheeses, meats (lots), pâté, grapes, sauces..etc. Very happy we made it here. Service was kind of on the holiday speed so relaxing place to go. If you order anything you won’t go hungry and appreciate the quality/ quantity that this place offers ( both amazing!) . Recommended!

A wonderful welcome from a lovely man, and one of the best club sandwiches I've had for a very long time! Great service and tasty food, good beers on offer and great value. Would highly recommend above the usual Benidorm options - give it a go and you won't regret it.

Booked for an afternoon tea. It was fantastic everything fresh and tasty and lots of it. Service was amazing nothing was too much trouble.

We came here and had the best Xmas day drinks sat on a sunny terrace. Lovely people and free little nibbles to keep us going whilst we enjoyed our beverages. It really made our day. Many thanks 💞

When we’re on holiday we often treat ourselves to an afternoon tea on the last day when available. We’ve had them at Betty’s of York and for value plus quality this is the best we’ve ever had. Great service with delicious well presented food, it just doesn’t get better. Afternoon Tea with a mini bottle of Cava was £14/ person, loads of food which required a takeaway box to bring our leftover’s away for later. We can’t recommend Stars Bar enough ! ! !

My first ever Tapas and was recommended Stars from friends who live here. Came Sunday lunchtime and wasn't overly busy so no real waiting time,the young lady serving was very nice and pleasant while i pondered what dishes to have. When Tapas arrived it looked amazing and the 4 dishes all tasted amazing and the 1 ltr sangria topped it off. Definitely a 5/5

There's something about this place that's just so comfortable, relaxed and friendly. We ate here a couple of times and really enjoyed it. As a veggie it's lovely to have a choice of food. The menu is varied and a little different to the usual Benidorm fare. Busy but that's because it's good, so worth the wait. Not expensive either. Definitely will be visiting again.

The food looks absolutely amazing here and I walked from the old town for tapas and sangria... but for the second time in 4 months we were told there would be a bit of a wait for food. Not an issue . I have no problem waiting but when I asked to place a food order, and having being told he would be over to take our order in a minute, then 20 minutes later and at least 4 other customers being served after this, we finished up our drinks and told them not to bother. Shame as we had recommended this bar to a number of friends, but not again. If he'd said come to the bar when you want to order, I'm fine with that too but I won't be taken for a fool again. It was a different story last September when customers were fewer on the ground. Best of luck if you go here, I'm sure you'll enjoy it if your face fits.
