A Sunday as a tourist in Bergamo was the perfect opportunity for a lunch break at this restaurant, located in a quiet setting. The menu, available both on paper and via QR code and in several languages, offers a good selection of dishes; the three different first courses we ordered were excellent and well-presented, although perhaps they deserved larger portions. The staff were friendly and helpful, even with foreign customers. The internal elevator access to the restrooms was original. Prices for first courses were average, but not so much for water and coffee (€1.70).

Hot chocolate was a bit scarse considering the price..... the bathroom is an interesting and adventurous experience, seeing is believing!

I want order veal but they didn't have and also beef finished at 16 a clock. They this time didn't have to many food from choice. I didnt was happy abouth this pasta.

I found the atmosphere to be neglected, with staff that were inattentive and unfriendly. The outdoor terrace overlooking the square was very large and inviting.

We took just cocktails here, but we was waiting over then 20 minutes 😕 good view and drinks tastes good.

The Castle

Well, the place is nice, nothing to complain about, but the fact that they serve you your drink in a plastic cup like you'd find at a village fair is a no-no! It's scandalous that a place like this would serve you with Chinese glasses... other than that, the drink was drinkable. The price was okay.

The staff were welcoming. The wine (by glass) was deteriorated. It was probably open too long and oxidized a little, to where you can taste it

Service and food are 1/2 stars, no more. A bar/restaurant that offers a business lunch should be able to serve dishes quickly; we waited 45 minutes for cold dishes and/or dishes that were simply reheated in the microwave because they were already prepared (they don't have a kitchen). Only when we were ordering did they inform us that they had already run out of rice, without offering us an alternative. The food was reheated but cold, unseasoned, and tasteless. There were eight of us, and one of us had to ask for a doggie bag because the kitchen had forgotten her order (which we had repeatedly requested). It's a shame because the place is busy, but the organization is terrible.
