Had a wonderful roast pork dinner and was able to substitute a cup of sausage gumbo for my potato side. They are always so accommodating about substitutions. Salad was fresh and generous. Roast pork with stuffing was tender and delicious. We were even able to bring leftover pork home. My husband and I consider Bergen Farm Market restaurant a favorite place to dine with new specials every day. We have always had great meals here with friendly and engaging wait staff. We highly recommend it!

My group and I have been coming to this restaurant for 12 years now. The food, staff, and facility have always been good, and they've been exceptionally great in the past few years. The price for the quantity and quality of food is very fair, as well. Highly recommended!

We had dinner there tonight. My husband had a reuben wrap and I Had THE MOST AMAZING stuffed pork dinner... the stuffing was the best i've tasted! We shared my dessert ( which was included w the special) warm bread pudding (1/2blueberries 1/2 peach) was out of this world!!!!!!we had the honor being seved by the one who made the dessert😊the service was great! The restaurant has an extensive menu. Loved it!!!!Thank You!

Awesome food and great service. The complete breakfast is a great value for money. I would stay away from the Trash Plate, if you are not into these things. Mexican Tortilla salad was really good and so was the Buffalo Chicken wrap.

Didn't know what to expect from this unassuming little restaurant. Well I'm happy to tell you I was very impressed. The staff while small was very attentive to our needs while handling 6 tables at once. The food was even better. I had the 3 Dueces breakfast. Pancakes were delicious, eggs were real and bacon was done the way I like, a little crispy but not too much. I would recommend you give this little place a try the next time you're in the little hamlet

Great service, food was very reasonably priced. Lots of parking. Food came out quickly. Menu was nicely varied - we had a hard time deciding on what to get. Typical diner fare of breakfast all day (except Fridays), salads, burgers, wraps etc. Several specials on the whiteboard as well. They disinfected the tables and put signs up so you knew it was clean to sit at. Would certainly recommend and will stop back when on this side of town!

Stopped in with some friends for dinner and dessert. Everything was so delicious and cooked just as requested. The service was great too. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The environment felt very safe and relaxing. I recommend stopping in for any meal. It's a very nice experience.

Love this little family restaurant. The food is delicious. My husband had chopped steak and mashed potatoes/gravy. Generous portion. I had stuffed meatloaf (with homemade Mac and cheese) and salad! I had to take half home!

This is our second time dining here. Great atmosphere, great service, great menu, great prices, and large portions (also a low carb section of the menu for folks like me). I highly recommend checking out this gem of a diner next time you're out adventuring.

Just happened on this place as a stop on our way across northern NY. Great home cooking - portion sizes more than adequate. Large menu with lots of options for breakfast, lunch, dinner- specials board also looked good. And to top it off with homemade pies and cakes and rice pudding choices! Definitely a keeper !

The menu is great as is the food. Prices are very good and the service is outstanding. Very friendly. By the way everything is prepared in house no heat and eat. I eat there two or three times a week. Based on when I can.

Great easy going little diner! Full house and only one waitress was very hectic for her and a little bit to long for food but the waitress personality and great comfort food was worth it. New owners were receptive of constructive ideas and sincere wishes for their success. New owners are dedicated and really nice people. Not a text book perfect visit but 5 star because they earned it in spite of challenges! Please keep the fish fry and pancakes amazing! I have been a customer since my teens... Friday night fish fry and pancakes everytime my mom took me shopping!

You have to know this is a "Locals" restaurant and as such the ambiance of fancy restaurants is not there. But the food was good, not fancy, and the service was great as a party of twenty was taken care of quickly as we're the other diners.

Absolutely delicious and farm fresh food here at this little tucked away restaurant in upstate NY. Really enjoyed everything about it, our waitress both times we dined in here was wonderful and very nice! Food came out very quickly and was hot fresh and very tasty. I got sirloin steak and eggs one morning and ham bacon and eggs the next and both meals were great!

We enjoy going for family dates. Very family friendly! The prices are very reasonable! We enjoy the homemade soups the most. Never have had cold food served here either. The Ribeye topped with Onion Rings with 2 sides is fantastic and I've never had an issue with it being cooked the way I like. Rare. If you're going for a quick snack the Egg Salad sandwich is a quick order and quite tasty.

I had a corn-beef and Swiss omelette that was on special served with home fries and rye toast! Dense was an awsome server and the food was great, most importantly they’re truck friendly with room for 5 or so rigs.

In the area making a delivery (today Feb 13th) and had wait time. Got there for Breakfast and stayed pretty basic on the order. Wife had a Omlet and I had Eggs, Bacon Toast and Home Fries. Great Breakfast Had a good conversation with owner and she told me to come back for the Fish Fry. So. we were still there at Lunch. Got the Fish Fry and it was phenomenal. I’m not a big Fish guy, But, I would def eat here every time they have it. The sides (Coleslaw and potatoes) were great too. The owner is super nice and goes in depth with any questions you have.

My husband and I love small town diners. I got a hot roasted turkey and gravy sandwich with mashed potatoes. It was the epitome of comfort food. The sandwich was huge and delicious. I personally loved them, but the mashed potatoes are a little lumpy, if you dont prefer that I would choose something else. They were really good also.

We ordered the corned beef hash for breakfast on an early Wednesday morning. Our server was prompt, friendly and a great server. The hash was just okay. It was undercooked and canned. Portion size was small. Eggs over easy and toast. Just average diner food but good enough. Got a sandwich to which my son enjoyed. Finally ordered fried corn bread which was tasty. $28 seems pricey but overall a good experience.

Very good very good. Also had wings with boss sauce I think it was?.. also very good. Service was great as well. Glad I found this place. Highly recommend.

We drive from Chili to Bergen just for this restaurant. Great prices, excellent food, fast and friendly service. We normally go for breakfast, and they always have different specials. I love the $6.95 2 Pancakes or French toast, 2 eggs + bacon or ham. Definitely not a fancy restaurant, but will become your favorite if you can get past that.

Small restaurant where people are friendly and the food is very good. I had a ziti and meatballs entree with a salad for $9!! They always have Beef on Wick available and husband says its the best he's ever had. Only minor complaint is interior is dimly lit.

Got a ruban which was delicious. Won't be in the area anytime soon again but when I am this will be a stop for sure! Staff was very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was exactly what you would expect and hope for. Look forward to trying some more of the food they have to offer.

Excellent Reuben. Corned beef was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Good French Fries. I tried a side of their Texas sauce too. This would be excellent if they tweaked it with some pepper to spice it up a notch. Otherwise it's spot on !

We had a nice family dinner at Bergan Farm Market. You find a table for yourself and service arrives shortly thereafter. The menu is what you would expect at a Farm Market. Lots of "family meals" to choose from. We enjoyed our meals which arrived warm and with plenty to eat. Have fun and go to the Bergen Farm Market.

I found this little out of the way restaurant after being given the name of a great mechanic. It happens to be in the same town. On my way back from dropping my car off my son my sister and I decided to stop. Well that was a couple of weeks ago and we went back today. It's a nice out of the way place to eat. So far I'm not disappointed. Today I had a simple omelette but my son had this huge plate of pancakes with blueberries and whipped cream. He had a good appetite but he had to force it to finish it. Lol Oh the prices are very reasonable. The waitress very attentive and helpful

Good, simple food done well. Good prices. Had homemade beef barley soup, it was delicious. Breakfast available all day was also better than expected. Lots of home cooked items on special. Didn't have time to try desserts but also looked really good. Worth a stop. (btw:Nicest diner bathrooms I've seen.)

I told myself I wasn't going to spend, but I was falling asleep at the wheel, so here I stopped. The food and atmosphere are good and homely. I got the Haluski skillet special of the day, it came with a salad. The onion ring side was a good portion for the price. I am happy.

This is a typical American restaurant in the countryside, I and my family from Thailand have been visited with our friendly Americans many times.They have a very good breakfast. We stopped there just on the way to Rochester airport.

Service was great but the meatloaf dinner was not. Strangest not good meatloaf I've ever had not sure if it should be that way or not. Mashed potatoes felt gritty like real mix in with instant. The green beans were soggy and foul tasting. The Julian salad was geart.

Normally quite good but last few times home fries are under cooked even when you say extra crispy. Probably won't be back for breakfast too soon. I judge my breakfast by the home fries.

We ordered Friday night fish fry and cheeseburger plate take out. My husband loved the fish fry, but I was disappointed in the plate...esp since the price was nearly $10. The burger and hot dog we're burnt...black. I paid 50c more for the cheese which covered the more burnt side of the burger which was extremely thin in size and so dry. The mac salad lacked seasoning and it was watery with low quality flavorless mayo. The home fries were the only decent item, but we're even a little bland and needed salt. I was disappointed as we had recently eaten a great breakfast there.

Food was good. My friend tried to get his pancakes sent out "delayed" for me the sausage, eggs, and potatoes. He wanted them sent out warm after he had eaten most of the other stuff. The waitress said the cook was really busy and he couldn't do that. There wasn't even half full of customers in the diner. So my friend said okay then. So when the waitress returns with our food, she brings my friends pancakes 1st! She had my meal and a third persons meal. She went away and a few minutes later brought the sausage, eggs, and potatoes. She did it totally opposite of what he asked for. Terrible service, but food was good.

We were camping in Byron when we stumbled upon this restaurant, The staff is very nice and friendly. The food on the other hand was not quite awful but close. My meatloaf was dry and burned, mashed potatoes looked more like a biscuit, it was weird. The Cordon blue chicken was good but the spaghetti was over done and tough, the BLT was very good and huge. I understand this place has probably been there for years and the locals love it.....us on the other hand just may skip it the next time we're in town.

I liked the vibes of a small country restaurant. I was expecting some home cooked food with local grown produce . It didn't feel like that.

I ordered the Angus chopped steak. Menu did not mention mushrooms and it came with more mushrooms then steak. The mashed potatoes were not fresh. Seems they were made yesterday and were dried out. We just moved to Bergen but, I will never eat here again. I will go to the city first. Very disappointed 😞

Have eaten here a number of times before. Food is basic but always good. Reasonable prices. Service at it's best is ok. This last visit though the service was terrible. My friend's eggs were over easy - not what she ordered. Everything was cold. My lightly toasted toast was burned. No one greeted us when we came in or seated us. We waited 12 minutes to get drinks. Simple breakfast order was a 35 minute wait more. Had to ask for a coffee refill. Asked waitress twice to leave 3/4 of an inch empty because I like heavy milk. Nope. Got the typical waitress pour right up to the brim. Checks were slapped down with a curt "thank you". BTW - 5 tables occupied including us when we came in and 2 waitresses.

Great place to eat as long as you don’t have a far ride to the nearest toilet and don’t mind overpaying for eggs never made the way you order them.

Very unhappy. Waitress was snotty and rude. Asked for straw for my father's drink, he has a stoma and drinks thru a straw. My drink was in a small glass while everyone else had tall glass. Ordered the fried chicken they were out at 1130am. Got the turkey bacon and cheese asked for tomato got no tomato. Waitress never canme back to check and after 10 min no longer cared to have corrected. It was not busy even.

Going in and seeing people eating the food and seeing plates coming out on thing! That changed real quick. Order rigatoni with meatballs. Meatballs ICE COLD! Asif they came out friderator and put on plate. Sauce had no flavor and pasta was even cold away from sauce. The other dish was 6oz steak and fries. Steak no seasoning and fries were over cooked. Waitress had nerve to say they were coated. I laughed and said steak fries people across from us don't look like there's is. Sent plate back and still messed up. Needless to say not worth going again. I've been too many shakes like this one but it takes the cake. You've been warned!

Have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now. Just went to eat there and they weren't open like their website and hours on door states. This was 12/28/2024 on a Saturday. Wondering if everything is ok.

I never had breakfast like that, just tasted like ready food, and my eggs with cheese tasted like melted sandwich cheese. Also I was excited to try out this place but the service was very unfriendly and root. I understand that to times like these with COVID 19, it’s for all of us a hard time, but it doesn’t mean to be unfriendly.

Was told my Sandwich was 8.95 and bacon burger was 10.95 not sure how my total got to $34. Trying to rip a young 21 year old off. Classic New york. Won’t ever be back, Scammers. 6/11/25
