Ordered online for a specific time, ordered was ready 3 minutes early which is pretty spot on. We got the banana shake, chopped cheese waffle fries, and berserk burger. The banana shake was very good, good banana flavor, not too sweet. Chopped cheese fries were good as well. Waffle fries were cooked well, not soggy even after a 15 min car ride home. It tasted like a cheeseburger on waffle fries without the buns. Berserk burger was good. Very messy though. I didn't care for it as much, but my wife liked it.

This was my first time here, and I'm so glad that I visited. I ordered the double smash burger, which was delicious and juicy. The order came with seasoned fries. The atmosphere was simple, no fuss, and the service was quick.

After reading a glowing article about the restaurant in SF Gate, I decided to give it a try with some friends. I ordered the Classic Chopped Cheese, and let me tell you, it was absolutely phenomenal. The patty was juicy and packed with flavor, while the melted cheese was oozy and irresistible. The dish was served with waffle fries that were fresh, crispy, and seasoned to perfection. One of my friends ordered a banana shake, which I couldn't resist trying. And let me tell you, it was a real treat. The shake was creamy and full of flavor, with bits of graham cracker topping and whipped cream adding to the decadence. Not only was the food top-notch, but the service was impeccable. The staff were friendly, efficient, and clearly take pride in their work. The restaurant itself was also spotless and had a great atmosphere. Overall, I cannot recommend Berserk Burger enough. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in for some great food and a shake. You won't be disappointed.

I really enjoyed their Chopped Cheese and waffle fries. One thing I couldn't take for granted—usually sides are extra at a lot of places these days—these fries were included and still great quality. Looking forward to trying their expanded menu with the Berserk Burger and Banana Shake. 🔥

Extremely good fries and smash burger! Never had a smash burger before, but now I understand the hype -- the flavor is trapped at the center of the burger. Pictured is the double patty with cheese, tomato, lettuce, bacon, house sauce, and spicy chipotle sauce. Highly recommend the mix of house and chipotle sauce with tomato. And it also comes with super delicious beer battered style fries that are mind blowing as well. Do go. Top tier burger. Real hard to beat Cal's in fries and burgers.

I BIG chicken thigh, lots of crispy on the outside soft on the inside fries, decent bun and sauce, pickles barley taste (good, I don't like pickles), and there was a small syrup? Packet included. So tasty and juicy. Saving for future visit.

This is one of those places you try and then think of every time you’re hungry. The chicken “strips” are huge pieces of juicy boneless chicken breast that come with a huge pile of the best fries ever! I’ll leave it at that, you decide.

Brand new spot in Berkeley. It’s not often that you find a Chopped Cheese on the west coast. The sandwich was excellent and the service was on point.

However for those more expensive items the portions are HUGE! Definitely a good place to stop while visiting Berkeley!

It was ok went Here because of @bayareafoodz but was disappointed on the flavor However it was ok at best I had the lemon pepper wings the chicken sandwich the mac and cheese and chicken and chopped cheese. The chopped cheese barely had any cheese and needed seasoning on the meat the wings were burnt with sauce the mac was pretty good though a good flavor 😋

Updated review. I went there again last week and got the chicken sandwich. I felt that was not as good as before. Old review: used to be pollo picante, now across the street in a larger location with indoor seating. Thanks for making the best chicken sandwich in Berkeley, I will be back

I also got the Mac n cheese with fried chicken and it wasn’t anything special. The fried chicken itself was average and the Mac n cheese was underwhelming because it needed more flavor.
