Made a quick stop to try their egg biryani and to be honest I came for the chicken one but I never had tried or even heard of egg biryani before so I went with that and I must say it was a good choice especially if your a vegetarian who want the taste of biryani, but without meat, so if you’re ever in the area and are craving biryani you know where to go now.
Outstanding 💯 when u can cut the meat with a plastic flimsy spoon OMG 😱 straight fyah 🔥💥💯 lamb coconut curry added veggies absolutely delicious 😋! I was really surprised!!!!

Loved the spicy egg biriyani that i had here. Just to be picky, it felt more like egg fried rice than egg biriyani but it was delightful for sure. I even got to know that they offer catering service which sounds great. A great spot for students for sure!
This was the best Tikka Masala I’ve ever had. I had to stop eating to let everyone around me including the chef know. Bummer that this isn’t a sit down kind of restaurant. But ooooweee. This was delicious!! 10/10. I woke up thinking about it.
From the moment you step in, you feel welcomed. The service is amazing, the food is absolutely overwhelming in the best way, and every dish tastes truly authentic. One of my favorite Indian restaurants consistently outstanding.
Amazing flavors and super friendly service! Will defiantly come back ! The chicken tikka masala was so creamy and perfectly spiced - a must try spot near campus. Very friendly staff super clean. ❤️
I would love to come here everytime. Food and its taste is so so good and exactly like Indian taste. That makes me missing Indian. Can’t stop eating. Especially Tandoori Chicken. I am loving it. I would love to recommend all my friends.
Very great restaurant I head the chicken tikka burrito and me and my family enjoyed it, we came from San Jose to try this burrito after seeing it on TikTok and we were treated amazing and to top it all off the owner gave me and my family complimentary mango lassi. Definitely recommend a visit.
I came to try their Chicken Tikka Burrito after watching a video of it on tiktok and I must say it definitely met my expectations and the owner was very kind. It was very delicious and I would definitely recommend you guys to give it try.
I Absolutely love❤️ love❤️love ❤️their Butter Chicken and their Somosas… This Indian food is EXCELLENT!… very friendly staff super clean
I came across their website and was instantly drawn in by how amazing the food looked. I drove all the way from Fremont to Berkeley just to try it—and let me tell you, it was so worth the trip. This place is hands-down my favorite for Indian food. Everything I ordered was mouthwatering. The food smelled incredible, tasted fresh, and was packed with rich, flavorful goodness. I tried the burritos, fries, and even the pasta—each dish was better than the last. I don’t usually drink mango lassi, but theirs completely won me over. So good! I’ve had Indian food from many places, but this spot had something special—it felt like a touch of home, with bold and comforting flavors. Must be that amazing sauce! Huge shoutout to the whole team, family owned! thank you for the great food and service. I’ll definitely be back!
I ordered a chicken tikka burrito and it was great. The service was amazing as well, very nice people.
Ordered the Paneer Tikka Burrito and Mango Lassi. Extremely flavorful and excellent quality, fast service with convenient location to campus. Very jealous this place wasn't around when I was a Cal student!

One of the best Indian food spots in the Bay! Definitely recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala! Super amazing after a long day.

Food taste is good, Paneer Tikka was delicious, Dal Makhni was average. Naan was soft n good.
ordered through UberEats, so no clue on the atmosphere or in restaurant service. 1st off, the Lassi i ordered was missing from my delivery. Don't know if it was missing from the restaurant or a mess up by ubereats driver. Pavbhaji was amazing! very flavorful and perfect portion. Chicken Naan was a bit too doughy and had very little flavor. will try this place in restaurant.

Visited on: October 4, 2025 I visited Punjabi Dhaba – Berkeley recently. The place is neat and clean, and overall it gives a good impression when you walk in. Before ordering, I asked the cashier whether the biryani or roti and curry were better. He said both are good, so I ordered the goat biryani. Unfortunately, it was terrible — it had carrots and green peas in it, which really don’t belong in goat biryani. It tasted like mixed goat curry and rice rather than real biryani. However, the garlic naan and malai kofta curry were excellent, and the pav bhaji was also very tasty. Those dishes definitely made up for the disappointment with the biryani. My suggestion to the staff: please be honest when recommending dishes. Customers come in wanting to enjoy good food — it’s better to guide them toward your best and most popular items rather than saying everything is great. Selling one bad dish can lose a returning customer. Overall, it’s a good place for rotis, naans, and curries — but avoid the biryani, it’s not authentic at all (just curry mixed with rice).

I ordered the lamb coconut curry without rice, and garlic cilantro naan. It took about 20 minutes from the time I placed my order, even though it looked like there was no one there when I placed my order. They gave me a free bag for my order to go. The flavors were amazing, and the food was very filling. The lamb was so tender, and the naan was beautiful. The garlic cilantro naan could feed 2+. My one complaint is that my order had exactly 3 small pieces of meat in it. The container was filled to the brim with sauce, so I wouldn't have known even if I had seen the container before it was bagged. If I had not ordered the naan in addition to my entree, I would not have been satisfied. It ended up being a good meal, but I wouldn't order again for the price and small amount of meat.
Ordered butter chicken with rice which was over $16 and it only came with THREE SMALL pieces of chicken. Overly filled with butter sauce to make it look full even though it only had three pieces of chicken. Too BURNING hot to eat as well.
Absolutely disgusting. This restaurant is a complete health hazard. The place was filthy, the smell was unbearable, and there was zero sense of hygiene. Watching staff behave so carelessly in such an unsanitary environment was shocking and unacceptable. I immediately lost my appetite and felt uncomfortable the entire time. This is not how food should ever be served to customers. I regret coming here and will never return. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.
I got food poisoning from the Chicken Tikka Masala burrito I had yesterday, and based on other reviews, this isn’t the only incident. I’m seeing that many people that eat here get food poising The restaurant typically blames reactions on the dish being “rich in dairy” or customers mixing it with other foods they ate earlier in the day. I eat dairy literally all the time with no issues, and I actually hadn’t eaten anything beforehand because I saved my appetite for this meal. The timing of symptoms makes it really clear where it came from. I’ve never had this reaction at other Indian restaurants, so something here feels off, either how it’s stored, handled, or prepared. Really disappointed and won’t be back
These people are very rude. The staff prepares orders after putting their fingers in their noses without cleaning their hands. The restaurant is extremely dirty and should be inspected. They also behave very badly with customers. They are very unpleasant people and it is a very unhygienic restaurant.
