Very nice location so you can eat right after coming down. The maiz or corn was absolutely not good, no taste. Most of the insides were good, allthough lacking taste. Not bad but far from the best in this area. Drinks were good.

We came on Monday. The gorditas are delicious, with a good amount of filling. The pancita isn't just pancita; it seems to have a foot inside, and it's unshaven 🤢 but I got more bone. The sopes, although the picture shows lettuce, aren't served with it. The coffee is good and sweetened with piloncillo, and if you don't eat much sugar, you might find it too sweet.

Based on my experience there, I can say that they were serving leftover stews. If you want a gordita, it's better to get one with crumbs. And they should make them fresh daily because they were serving leftovers from previous days. The service from the waiters was just okay. It's very noisy because there's a small bar next door. Not recommended; I suggest looking for better options.

Prices are affordable, but the food isn't great and the waitresses take orders incorrectly. The service is generally poor. Considering the portion sizes, I recommend ordering the quesadillas 😉 and don't forget to check the bill at the end because they tend to overcharge.

I don't recommend it. The food took a long time to arrive, they made mistakes with the orders, they put very little filling in the gorditas, and I noticed that while the ladies were preparing them, they were eating and putting their fingers in their mouths.

Terrible place, we got a cockroach in a cheese quesadilla and a small earwig in a barbacoa gordita...that's right, they weren't going to charge us, haha, it's hilarious, this place is filthy and dirty, really don't eat here, after 2 hours the 3 of us who ate there got diarrhea.

The place is more famous than the gorditas themselves; they're nothing special. The pressed pork rinds are anything but pressed. If you want to pay with a credit or debit card, they charge a fee. There are definitely better places to eat in Peña.
