The food was excellent! I ordered 1 pork chop, black eyed peas and collard greens, and my mom ordered something similar. We raved just as much about the Christian service and professionalism. The staff was so polite and patient and even allowed us to choose the particular pork chops we wanted and asked our preferences without us asking. They have 2 return customers now! The food was definitely worth the longer wait.

First and foremost if you do not want to stand in line, order online. You better be there before they open!!! It's a very small building so the line stacks up fast. These folks know what they doing in the kitchen. They will acknowledge you everytime when you walk up to the pick up order. They will not make your plate until pick to ensure the FRESHEST and HOTTEST food. Decent prices especially for today's economy. I am definitely willing to pay the price because they give the same portions. No shrinkflation here folks!!!! TIP these folks for the quality of service you receive. Even to Gos!! They go above and behind to handle the line and pick up orders. Never feel like I am out of place. Always on point PERIODT!!!

Amazing as usual! The entire family are always working hard, fast & with professionalism! The food is amazing, you may have to wait in line about 20min if there too late in the day...but it's worth it! Especially Sunday! That food & dessert makes ya slap yourself it's so good! It looks like a hole in the wall but it actually had about five booths to eat it but it does a big take out business. The smothered pork chops were awesome, and my husband loved the pigs feet. Great sides to choose from and TWO pieces of cornbread. It was a down home Southern feast. The people working there could not have been nicer!! They went out of their way to give excellent service.

Oh man I couldn’t wait to review this place. We were driving through and saw they had 4.5 stars so we decided to try it. So worth it! Anytime we drive through we will stop here! The food is spot on! I had the oxtail with rice and greens and corn bread. Not everyone knows how to make oxtail right well they do so tender and flavored perfect! My husband has the neck bones cabbage corn and cornbread. His necks were also tender and flavored perfect, the corn was made like mama always made and the cabbage was perfect! All of food was so good! The only hard thing is going to be continuing to drive on this road trip with that food in our bellies, we are ready for a nap now! Thank you for doing it right! Oh and the staff working there was so friendly, you felt like you have known them forever!

Ordered beef tips on rice so fire! I came back another day and ordered the oxtail!! 2 years ago it was cheaper, now they jacked up the prices, but when I went I Was so 😊 happy and satisfied it was great. 👍🏻now prices up 30 for ox tail 😳

I haven't been to Eagles in some years and decided to give them a try. Ordered the pork chops with au gratin potatoes and green beans. I was very disappointed with the quality of food. The pork chops were dry and salty. Then I remembered the last time I had eagles the ox tails were salty. The green beans were bland and the potatoes were decent. I'm not sure if the cooks have changed over the years or what.

Got there 1hr before closing( tried calling, no answer) While waiting in a very long line after arrival I find out only two side options and 1 meat selection was available. If you’re getting low on items it would be respectfully if there was some was some way to update the customers who are standing in line on what’s left instead of waisting our time. Ended up getting just mac n cheese and collards. Both were not up to my expectations.

The Mac and cheese was old and had yellow food coloring in it, I’m thinking cause the little bit of orange cheese it has in it is the worst cheese you can buy! And everything was salty except the rice!
