The best in the area. Also I ate something that is exclusively from Giovanni's and that is an eggplant sandwich with super thin crunchy crust buns. I loved it. Original taste and not overpowered by sauces.

My daughter and son in-laws “go to” gem for gatherings and pizza nights is now one of my favorites too. We decided to skip the barbecue at my home and ordered assorted sandwiches, pizza cut into appetizer squares for the “little ones”, outrageous pasta and broccoli, garlic knots with sauce and a delicious salad. Delivery was prompt and everyone loved the entire meal. I will be back again.

This place seems to care about all the little details, like keeping the parmesan shakers in the fridge and putting the pizzas on elevated stands so it doesn’t take up table room. The service was incredible. I went with a large group and we had planned for one person to pay for everything and we would figure it out later for paying that person back. Giovanni’s offered the option to pay individually even though we didn’t ask and even though it was more work.

The pepperoni roll is on point. Also the scicillian pie with the spicy pepperoni is great.

Giovanni’s is the ideal neighborhood pizza restaurant. The food is high quality, reasonably priced, and the staff is wonderful. The restaurant is constant supporters of the community, sponsoring multiple local sports teams, patiently serving walk-in students from all the local schools, and building relationships with local families. If you want delicious food at the right price, this is the spot.

Giovanni's has a great regular pie and the meatball is excellent too. Owners are always looking out for the kids and helping out in the community. Get your orders in early on a Friday or u will be waiting an hour + for a pie since they get so busy, a sign of a great pizza shop, the Friday night crush. Love the food never disappoints.

Rockland is blessed to have more than a few great pizzerias. Giovannis is at the top of that list. Really the best of the best. I have never had a bad slice or experience here. The pasta dishes are right up there in taste and quality with some of the fanciest Italian restaurants I've been to. Dave and his team are friendly and professional. There is nothing else to say - they have earned all 5 stars from me, and my family and I are customers for life.

Giovanni's is first class in a rather traditional fashion. our family ordered a sicilian pie with sausage & a side of chicken wings. both were excellent and the reception attentive. the lady who handled the telephone order was amiable and professional. i think Blauvelt needs more eateries & places to nosh like such. Giovanni's is definitely highly recommended.

I had really good experience once before so reorder from here but second time was total disaster. I am sorry to say it but we couldn't eat even half of our order and threw to the garbage.

The pizza is ok. When you order toppings on your pizza, they aren't baked in. So the onions are still raw or the pineapple is crunchy. The dough is very airy which we personally don't prefer, but others might like it. Delivery takes at least an hour no matter what day of the week it is.

I got a cheesesteak from here and I was a little disappointed. The bread was stale and they didn't even melt the American cheese on top. Hoping to write this review for them to see and make improvements only.

1st time we had the pizza - whole family got diarrhea. It tasted terrible and very oily. Threw most of it out. 2nd time (decided to give it another try). Very oily and didn't taste good. 3rd time... Yes, gave it another try. Very oily and still tasted bad. 4th time. Got ice cream from louies next door and after decided to get a slice. Guy didn't put it in oven to heat up.. . He gave me the slice which was warm and overcooked somewhat burnt... Guess this was the reason he didn't put the slice in the oven to heat up. The slice again was very oily and not good tasting. I am so confused by all these high star reviews for this place. I feel bad cause I want to like this pizza, but just can't. I gave it 4 tries and it was consistently bad.

It’s insane to me how stupid it is that they place themselves on Grubhub, which sends a driver over to pick it up, and claim “oh, we don’t have drivers.” I occasionally place an order through Grubhub to see if they reversed the stupid policy, they put into place 5 or 6 years ago. They haven’t. Shame, the food was decent.

Would recommend going elsewhere. Restaurant closes at 9PM but cancels an order at 7:30PM. Can't support a business that doesn't want to take my order nor my money. EDIT: Really disappointed to see the business openly lying. I live ten minutes from Blauvelt, literally a straight line on one road from Blauvelt. I am also within the delivery area. I ran kitchens for 15 years in the area, there's no need to make up excuses knowing you had your drivers delivering food in the area for 2hrs after my order in the exact same weather conditions.
