I came across Pollo Leñero by accident, looking for something to eat, and lo and behold... Delicious and the service was amazing!! The enchilada chicken was fantastic, and the dressing and salsa were 10/10!! I found the Vía Muerta one and I loved it!! Without a doubt, you can't visit Veracruz without eating Pollo Leñero!!

A good option for a tasty meal at a moderate price. The staff is friendly, and the food arrives very quickly when you dine in. I found the enchilada chicken excellent. The takeout options are also great. The only thing I found limited was the drink selection; there weren't many options.

The service is terrible, and the delivery is incomplete. I bought package 3, it was delivered, and when I got home, I noticed it was incomplete. I called to complain, but the phone number listed on this page isn't for the branch, and they offered no solution other than telling me to come back and ask for what I didn't receive. It's more expensive for me to go back and ask for what's missing. What's frustrating is the lack of customer service on the phone. So, when people ask me about the service, I'll tell them the food is good but the service is bad, and if you order takeout, check what you get. In my case, they delivered an incomplete order.

An excellent option if you want to eat out. They have branches in the Veracruz-Boca del Rio metropolitan area, and you can order from combo meals or the menu. If you're going with family, I recommend combos like number 4, which includes two chickens with roasted potatoes, French fries, tortillas, salsas, rice, and you can choose one grilled and one enchilada-style, plus a large soda for only $300. The place is very clean, and they have good service at most of their branches. Enjoy! Take care.

The chicken is well-seasoned. The prices aren't affordable for everyone. They need more servers, since the day I went there were only two young ladies serving, and they couldn't cope with the few tables available. Although they did serve them, it's not the same as having more staff and providing better service. Thank you. As for the food, 4 out of 10. Thank you.

Terrible takeout service: Today I ordered a package and was given just plain chicken. If you'd like, I have video evidence. The cashier complained about the delivery guy and vice versa. 🤦 You decide if you want to risk that terrible service. 🤷
