Filled with so much of joy and positivity, Standbike is a magical place in Borgarello. With the start of each summer this place opens for the public in the month of march and closes in last week of October. #Paolo (the owner of this place, pirla) organises concerts here every Sunday so you could go and enjoy some live music in the summer after ion with some artisanal beer and salamela. 😊 Here's are some moments we captured on our visit at #standbike

One of the best part of living in Borgarello. Standbike cafe is a place where I can go anytime of the day and chill with some beer. Paolo and his staff are the bestest, make me feel like I'm home. Keep it up Standbike ❤️

A delightful place, a refreshment stop that's our regular stop every time we decide to bike from Milan to Pavia. They have a delicious craft beer on the menu, as well as cocktails and drinks of all kinds. The piadinas and sandwiches are always delicious, and the staff are courteous, friendly, and professional.

A very nice place to meet up with friends and chat. Plus, it's one of the few places where they still play outdoor music in Pavia... From the ashes of Spaziomusica. You can also grab something to eat: sandwiches or piadinas, and on weekends, even salami sandwiches and hamburgers. The only downside I can find is that they don't do traditional sandwiches... But that won't stop me going there, even though it's only five minutes from home.

June 15, 2023 A friend asked me to meet at this bar before dinner. I drove there, and it wasn't easy to find parking nearby. Many people park here, as it's one of the few places accessible by bike via the Alzaia Naviglio Pavese cycle path. The location is beautiful, thanks to the plants and lawn. The outdoor area has tables and benches, some shaded by trees. We ordered a beer, served in a 0.28cl plastic cup for €4.50. In my opinion, the price is excessive, considering the lack of service, not even two appetizers to nibble on.

I stopped here today, but I have to be honest, I didn't use the restaurant. However, I want to say that the setting is pleasant. I was coming from a bike ride and I must say that I found a small park where I could rest in the shade and with at least a fountain, something that has become impossible to find in many towns in the area. I noticed that in Borgarello, every park has a fountain, which I think is very important, given that many towns have made drinking by paying and with a card only possible. This is truly absurd because it means prohibiting people from drinking, not just people, but even, for example, getting water for a dog, becomes completely impossible. Access to water should not be denied.
