We happened upon this B&B while hiking. We decided to stop and were surprised by the high quality of the food. Local products, and above all, divinely cooked. Excellent! I highly recommend trying the pike; it was fantastic. But again, everything was really good and beautifully presented. Cheeses, meats, etc. Excellent!

If you're looking for something truly interesting and sophisticated, but also enjoy a rustic and refined atmosphere, this is highly recommended. The menu is never fixed but changes over time to utilize seasonal ingredients. The dishes are prepared with a unique approach, crafting something uniquely delicious. At the end of the evening, the bill may seem high, but it's a fair price for a menu that certainly includes items not normally found. Excellent value. Reservations recommended. Very well made local dishes like casoncelli (ravioli with an aromatic meat and herb filling) or rabbit with polenta, with some innovative, lighter takes here and there. Even a simple garden salad is made with original combinations and excellent balance of flavour. The venue is at the edge of the forest 1km from town and offers a breathtaking view over the valley. Many gluten-free, coeliac-suitable items in the menu.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui una notte, cenando, pranzando e facendo colazione nella trattoria. Le camere sono accoglienti e semplici, con tutti i servizi. Inoltre, il B&B è dotato di una vasca idromassaggio con sauna utilizzabile dai clienti. Tutti e tre i pasti sono stati davvero piacevoli, con ottimi prodotti locali, dai salumi e le confetture della colazione alle carni molto gustose della cena. Il personale è stato molto gentile e davvero disponibile. Torneremo sicuramente!

After a few years I'm returning to the Navertino restaurant and I'm lowering my previous rating (5) by one star. If I could, I'd give this latest experience a 7/10. Prices have continued to rise. The culinary growth hasn't kept pace, in fact it's perhaps taken a step backwards. I found the staff to be warmly welcoming, and the owner even smiled a little more than in the past. And that's good. The place remains very pleasant, in a lovely location outside the town but easily accessible; well-furnished in a modern mountain style, with plenty of warmth from the wood. The table settings are simple, but attentive in their thoughtful intentions. In short, a place I like, which recalls tradition and at the same time looks to the future. The prices, in my opinion, are excessive compared to everything (in the end 47.5 euros per person, which isn't cheap). Personally, I really enjoyed the onion soup, expertly prepared. One of the best I've ever tasted, for me (10/10). The bread is good (which is always important). A good wine from the upper Camonica Valley (a Merlot). The spaghetti with cod was decidedly below expectations: the citrus was too intense, the flavor of the savory cod was too subdued, and the pasta was too sticky to the fork (5/10). My companions tried a venison tartare (I also tried it: 9/10). A plate of local cured meats and cheeses was judged to be of good quality. A mushroom dish, the ingredients of which I don't recall, but which I enjoyed tasting and found to be original (8/10). The dessert was rated satisfactory by the companions. A grappa. The impression is of an attempt to take off that hasn't yet been fully achieved (except for the bill); perhaps a justified ambition, but still in need of concrete development. It remains a place I recommend for those who want to break away from the simple mountain trattoria model and try some well-crafted experiments with local ingredients. I hope this review will be useful both to the restaurant and to food and wine travelers.

This place is surrounded by greenery and located right next to two ideal walking trails. It's very quiet, and the breakfast offers high-quality products. The room, although complete with all the comforts, is a bit too retro for my taste, especially in terms of fabrics and colors. The staff is helpful enough, but not always very personable, and I would have appreciated more detailed explanations. All in all, it was a nice experience, although I found it a bit expensive.

Beautiful location, outside the town, surrounded by nature. The dinner was complete, from the appetizers (truly excellent) to the dessert. I especially enjoyed the meat-based main course. Recommended.

An intimate and well-maintained trattoria with a breathtaking mountain view, complete with friendly furry donkeys. The cheeses are top-notch, served with the perfect accompaniments. The house platter and gnocchi are also interesting. The dessert selection is good. Perfect portions. I don't know who the DJ was, but the background music was fantastic. Recommended!

I returned to this trattoria after several years; the interior was pleasant, including the lighting. Everything else was disappointing (except for the casoncelli): pasta with truffles that lacked the slightest hint of truffle and was of questionable flavor, and a €15 main course that was nothing more than a piece of cauliflower with a sauce on top and a few hazelnuts (the name of the dish was misleading and suggested something completely different). No, paying €15 for a dish like that was unacceptable! Desserts were average. Perhaps it would be better to remain more humble, avoiding copying dishes and recipes of a completely different caliber to lure the poor tourist. Better then the old trattoria, where the menu gave a clear idea of ​​what was coming. Poor service, poor value for money.

With the necessary premise that I always write reviews driven by objectivity and without wanting to discredit the activities and work of others at all costs, this time, out of respect for visitors and customers, I must highlight the utter inadequacy of the dishes served: - local casoncelli pasta, not fresh, with a filling that is "lacking in art and substance," inauthentic and hard in flavor, not well-blended; - hare that is tough, dry, and unpleasant; - baked eggplant that is inedible, burnt, bitter, and paired in an original but neither tasty nor suitable way; - spaghetti with venison ragù that is mediocre. Prices are high and not commensurate with the low quality of the food offered. The wine is mediocre and expensive. A negative experience compared to the one we had years ago when we had a very good experience. This isn't about personal "tastes," but about objective quality throughout, which, unfortunately, is currently lacking. I conclude (the only positive note) by congratulating the competent and attentive table service staff and the consistently splendid location.

I hate to give a negative review because the place is very nice, and the service is friendly, too. But when I go for dinner, I always hope to eat something good, especially fresh, seasonal produce. In August, if I order porcini mushroom risotto high up in the mountains, you have to know how to make it and use fresh ingredients. Otherwise, the result is worse than a bagged risotto from the supermarket. You can't answer me. We used dried mushrooms because they're not available now. In town, they sell them fresh in boxes. After all, they charge €15 for a small portion of risotto, and since they use freeze-dried products, I couldn't help but give a negative review.
