An al fresco dinner with a beautiful view and a rustic yet clean and tidy atmosphere. The young and very kind waitress offered a reasonably extensive menu of homemade dishes, delicious and with decent portions. Many of the ingredients used are locally sourced. We had a great time and will definitely be back.
Location surrounded by greenery, really welcoming; the owners and staff very jovial and hospitable. We had lunch choosing an appetizer of cold cuts and cheeses, definitely quality and tied to tradition, accompanied with a jam that was nothing short of delicious. The choice of the first course was the ravioli al tuccu: handmade like those of the past, definitely comparable to the tastes of grandma's cooking! We concluded with a grilled meat, and what meat! The owner cooks everything on the grill, the quality of the product is truly excellent; he explained that he "takes care" of his carnina with extreme care and dedication. The result? It melted in the mouth and its flavor was special. I forgot the side dish. Peperonata made this morning... good too. The portions are abundant and the price is worth the quality of the products used. We recommend a visit to this farmhouse, we will return and, given the possibility, we will stay a couple of days to escape the city ... yes, it also works as a "refuge" where you can spend the night. Yesterday I attended a communion lunch at this restaurant, and I must say it was a revelation! As a vegetarian, these occasions usually represent a culinary ordeal for me: I often find myself relegated to improvised side dishes or dishes lacking in imagination and flavor. This time, however, the experience was completely different. To my surprise, the chef had prepared an entire vegetarian gastronomic journey alongside the traditional menu, with the same care and refinement reserved for the main courses of the event. Each course was not only delicious but also presented with an elegance that made me finally feel valued and not "second-rate," as we vegetarians often do at ceremonies. The eggplant tart with cheese and the gnocchi with mushrooms and truffle deserve honorable mention (they were simply divine—soft, enveloping, and with that unmistakable aroma of truffle that elevated the entire dish to a gourmet experience). I was particularly impressed by the restaurant's attention to detail and desire to offer a complete culinary experience, even for those with special dietary needs. I didn't feel "overpriced," but rather truly pampered with specially designed culinary creations. If you're planning an event and have guests with special dietary needs, this restaurant absolutely deserves your trust. Finally, a place that understands that even vegetarian cuisine can and should be a complete gourmet experience! A happy and satisfied vegetarian!
A pleasant discovery. Passing by on our motorcycle, we stopped here for a snack, and they prepared four delicious sandwiches with local cured meats and cheeses. We ate in the sun, in complete tranquility, surrounded by greenery. What more could you ask for? The staff who served us were extremely friendly. Ample dirt parking is available immediately after the building.
Very kind and welcoming staff. Mountain-style furnishings with solid wood tables and chairs. Now for the serious stuff. The ravioli are heartwarming. The gnocchi with porcini mushrooms are poetry. The stew is soft and delicious. The bonet is delicious. Too bad I have to drive and didn't pair a wine. I imagine dining outside in the summer is also lovely. I'll be back.
Beautiful place, surrounded by greenery. Even though it was August 15th and I called at the last minute, they truly welcomed us like family! The staff was incredibly kind, and the hostess was truly courteous and attentive. The lasagna was delicious, the borage tagliolini with mushrooms was excellent, the truffle steak was sensational! The mixed grill was also excellent, and above all, the prices were fair. I recommend stopping by Cascina Leveratta afterwards for their delicious homemade jams, truly delicious and original, as were the syrups and honey! Really beautiful place.
Even though we didn't book, since it was a trade show and there were so many people, they welcomed us like family!!! Excellent food, the braised beef was amazing, the staff was super friendly despite the amount of work! We'll be back!!! Thank you so much 😘

We only had a pasta lunch, but it was very good! Nice friendly staff and good food. There is not much open in Marcorolo park in winter, but luckily this was.
I can't take anything away from the excellent first courses, but the second courses are a must-try. The mushroom entrecote is hair-raising, the picanha with fondue is a thrill, a balance of flavors that would make even the best Michelin-starred chefs envious. My compliments to the chef, the staff, and the management. The quality/price ratio is more than fair, as I truly enjoyed my meal. I'll be back as soon as I can.
We stumbled upon this restaurant almost by chance, having found it through a Google search. It's nestled in the countryside in a beautiful town on the border between Liguria and lower Piedmont. We found a warm, family-run welcome from the very friendly staff. We ate very well: an exquisite platter of cured meats and cheeses, followed by generous, delicious first courses, and exceptional second courses, finishing with delicious homemade desserts. I recommend this restaurant to everyone, and I'll definitely be back.
Lovely place, it's a shame it was quite foggy that day and we couldn't enjoy the outdoor space, maybe next time!!!! Also because you can't help but come back after the delicious food. The menu that day was pumpkin ravioli with gorgonzola and speck, fantastic!!!!! Very friendly service, highly recommended.
We stumbled upon this restaurant almost by chance, and it turned out to be a delightful discovery. Generous dishes, expertly prepared with top-quality ingredients. A wide selection of first courses, second courses, and side dishes. For appetizers, we ordered the charcuterie and cheese platter and were impressed by the high quality of the products (strictly local). Taglierini with mushrooms: out of this world. The goulash deserves special mention: the meat melts in your mouth and the flavors are perfectly balanced. The berry tart makes you soar. The coffee is also good (which is not a given), and there's a wide selection of liqueurs. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. The restaurant is well-maintained, warm, and surrounded by a splendid landscape that can be enjoyed from the veranda. The price is more than fair. Highly recommended. I'll be back very soon!
We stayed for two nights at this place and had an amazing time! Really nice people, nice breakfast and just a great place to stay if you want to discover this astonishing national parc! During the week (maybe even weekend too) 20 Euro each person for a clean double room with towels and private bathroom, including breakfast! And don`t miss out on their delicious dinner you will get to fair prices too! Only negative point is that the room is quite noisy if you have other people in the next room - barely any insulation and you will hear everything.
A simple yet very welcoming place. You eat outside, under a portico. The dishes I've tried have always been excellent, as has the service. The staff is very friendly. After lunch, you can also enjoy the lounge chairs in the garden or relax in the surrounding area; the forest is beautiful, to say the least. The elevation makes it comfortable on very hot days, truly relaxing. And the landscape, as throughout the Capanne di Marcarolo park, is breathtaking.

Very nice place especially if you are looking for some coolness during the summer.
Truly a beautiful location, where you can eat surrounded by greenery. The first courses weren't great; the ravioli au tuccu were acceptable, but the tagliolini with mushroom sauce were truly tasteless. The second courses were definitely better, with the grilled sausage and especially the picanha with truffle sauce. The desserts were also excellent. The staff were very friendly, and the prices weren't exactly cheap, but they were in line with other restaurants and trattorias these days. We spent almost €40 per person for three courses and the house wine (which was good).
Had lunch on a Sunday, al fresco on a scorching hot day. An ideal location to spend a few hours away from the city heat. Very good first and second courses. Very friendly staff. Reservations are definitely recommended.

750 metri slm, oltre i Prati di Praglia venendo da Genova. Trattoria rustica con meraviglioso spazio all'aperto. Menù locale ben fatto. Ottimo hamburger di fassona con uovo e tartufo. Ottimi ravioli …
I'm only giving it three stars because, although the quality is good, the prices are a bit too high. €25 for half an appetizer and a sausage is too much for me. I repeat, it's an excellent restaurant, but the prices are outrageous.
