Avis sur Limani Grille - Seaport Boston
Some of the best Mediterranean food around the area. We had dinner but I was so impressed by the dessert collection it was all I got pictures of. We got to sit outside in the patio and is just absolutely beautiful.
Went yesterday to Limani Grille, for our friend’s birthday and absolutely loved it!! The staff were so attentive and always checking in on us, plus the food and drinks were amazing! A great experience and would 100% go again, a quick thank you to the manager Francisco for making this experience even better!!
This place was a huge surprise and what honestly made our experience was Mario, our server! He was funny, attentive and helpful with the menu. It’s rare to find servers like Mario in the Boston eating scene and he made the experience what it was. The lamb chops were my favorite, they were cooked perfectly medium rare, the spanakopita was top notch. All the food came piping hot which of course is always a plus. There were a lot of great appetizer options and I wish I tried more! Will definitely recommend to others!
Overall really great experience, from the atmosphere, location, service and food. The place was bright and airy, tables were spread out, not tight and stuck up like most places in seaport. Very clean, not a smudge on the widows down to the floor, and the bathrooms were spotless. The staff were all so friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried a few shareable items, and some drinks. Really great, its a must try. Wish I got more pics, we were too busy enjoying.
Great atmosphere and great food! We reserved ahead to make sure there was no wait but when we got there it was not really busy but I encouraged booking ahead. The service was a bit slow but that was fine. The portions are big for one person so you might want to share if you don’t eat a lot. We ordered the Filet Mignon and lamb chops (medium) they came perfect 👌🏻fried calamari that is perfect for a part of 4 and two drinks 🔥 Definitely recommend this restaurant!!
My friend and I went here on a whim, and turned out to be such a good choice. Mario was our server and I will never forget what he did for us. He not only made us laugh the moment we walked in, he was very helpful with suggesting what entrees to get, and he was so patient. Definitely would come back not only for the beautifully presented food but just to get a good laugh in my day! Thank you so much for this experience! Just to add I would recommend the calamari for an appetizer, the lamb shank comes out in a large portion wonderfully oriented (so if you are a fan of lamb I would 100% get it but it holds a mild flavor even with the sauce so if you want something spicy or more adventurous I would ask Mario for recs! and the rice that comes with is very seasoned), as well as the sorbet for dessert! The flavors are mango and raspberry that compliment each other with the sweetness of the mango and slightly sourness of the raspberry. I am not usually a fan of fruit flavors but today I was made one! Truly amazing experience def recommend!
Mario was a great server! The food was fresh and tasty, service excellent, ambiance was elegant, and the stars of the show had to be the cauliflower and Greek tiramisu. These two dishes were fantastic! The rest were delicious too and fresh (seafood tower). Def would recommend!
Seyma will be the start of my review because she was an amazing server! The food, atmosphere, the drinks were brilliant. I would recommend Limani Grill for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience. Whenever you visit, make sure you have the Limani Chips!! TBH, I’d suggest come hungry and try everything in the menu.
Me, my dad and my sister came to this restaurant for some dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and tastiness of the food. Our server, Christian was extremely nice and helpful, he knew what he was talking about. And the food was delicious and I recommend the Limani chips and the Wagyu Burger. We will defiantly come back and hope you'll visit this amazing Greek restaurant too!
Outstanding all around. Exceptional service, Cassidy was an amazing bartender, gave great and honest recommendations about food/drinks and made the night much more enjoyable. Food was so fresh and so good some of the best Greek food in the city. Tomatoes looked like they came straight from your grandmothers garden. Go with a large group so you can order a bunch of different plates to try. Too many good options.
Went with a pretty large group and was very satisfied! Lorena the host was very helpful both over the phone and in person, and helped me get a table for a pretty big group. The rest of the staff were also nice and helpful. Good amount of noise for conversations :)
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing experience at Limani Seaport! We were extremely happy with everything. The food was incredibly fresh — and yes, the tomatoes were actually delicious in the middle of winter (lol), which says a lot. The octopus was outstanding — perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. Easily one of the best we’ve had. Great vibe with a live DJ, fun energy, and a lively atmosphere that makes the whole experience even better. Fantastic food, great party mood — highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Had an amazing time there last night. Service was incredible and very attentive. Atmosphere was refreshing and lively but also intimate for conversation. Francisco was very professional and kept things running on a busy night. There was saxophone player which changed my view on Boston night life!
We celebrated a birthday party here and it was absolutely amazing. After a slight mishap with my reservation, Francesco, the manager personally called me and resolved everything. SAVED THE DAY! The staff is so warm and welcoming, I appreciated their assistance so much. The food is probably the best in seaport and we had the best time. 10/10 recommend especially if you’re a large party, it’s so fun and the staff really brings the restaurant to another level.
Very cute place. Very nice, willing to accommodate large groups. Great lunch special that is budget friendly. However, idk if I would recommend this place overall. I ordered the dips for a pre-fixed app, which were decent, a solid 8. I ordered the lobster linguine for an entree (a $14 upcharge) and the lobster was overcooked! Significantly!! Chewy like rubber. They were aware because one person in my party had it remade and it was a totally different taste and texture. Honestly barely edible. The server, Mario was a little bit rude. I was asking him for recommendations for food and his response was, *deep sigh* " if I tell you chicken or steak which one are you going to pick." Understand the resturant was empty except for my party of 15, and two other small parties of 4, so there was no rush. The drink was decent, but I think this place needs to have menu consistency. The sorbet was also not good and tasted very artificial. I am giving this place 3 stars because the lunch deal CANNOT be beat! In Seaport is fantastic, better service and fresh food would take this place to the next level.
I would like to start off by saying, I did not get the best service right when I walked through that door, but I really enjoyed the food. So I gave it a 3 stars for the food and deducted the 2 stars for the service I got. Service: I was a walk in guest and asked if there was any tables, the host told me it was fully booked tonight (even though there was literally so many empty seats). I walk out and check online to make a rsvp. There were so many tables open from 5-8. So I made a rsvp and walked right back in. She proceeded to tell me “Im glad you guys cane back there was a cancellation on the rsvp”. Ok… got seated orders taken, appetizers came out within 10 minutes. The entree took 20, not too long not too fast I guess was just surprised. When we got the food, they didn’t even ask us if we needed anything else nor did they notice that we were missing a fork. Had to wait a long time just to get someone to get me a fork. Towards the end we were waiting for our waiter to get the check and takeout boxes, but he was no where to be found. When the manager walked by I asked if he could get us the boxes, he said he will find someone for me. He never even did because the waiter finally came back and I had to ask him again. Service was just slow. Food: I really enjoyed the octopus, it was full of flavor and easy to chew. The fish was very good as well. The steak was not bad, if only they had better steak knives. I could barely cut mine with their steak knife… Ambiance: as we were leaving it did get more packed. The bathroom was pretty neat and clean. I liked how big and roomy the restaurant was. The lighting wasn’t too dark, and lots of window views from every corner.
My friends and I used to come here all the time — this really was our place. We loved the cozy atmosphere, the authentic Mediterranean/Greek food, and the friendly service. Unfortunately, our most recent visit felt like we walked into a completely different restaurant. The prices have gone up, and the menu now includes items that don’t make sense for a Greek/Mediterranean spot. It feels like they’re trying to take the restaurant in a different direction, and it just isn’t working. The biggest disappointment was the service. The manager no longer greets guests, which used to be a small but meaningful touch. And when we were leaving, the hostess and a couple of employees were laughing and talking at the front desk and didn’t even notice us (a group of people)—no eye contact, no goodbye, nothing. It felt careless and unprofessional, especially compared to how things used to be. The music that just doesn't fit there. It really seems like the place has changed ownership or something major shifted behind the scenes. After years as loyal customers, we left feeling unwelcome and disappointed. Sadly, we won’t be coming back. It’s time to find a new favorite spot.
Ownership or management must have changed. The night started with the front door asking if we had a ticket or if they were going to charge us a cover — to have dinner. My husband immediately wanted to leave, and honestly, I should’ve listened. I doubled down thinking it would get better… only to walk into a room full of kids running around like it was a high school dance. We’re in our mid-30s — this screamed “we couldn’t get into The Grand, Marcelino’s or Mariel so we came here to salvage the night.” To the waiter who asked why we weren’t waiving our towels. It’s because we are in the seaport of Boston, in the state of Massachusetts. Let us eat and get the hell out of this disaster We’ve hosted numerous large dinners in Chestnut Hill and the Seaport. Never again. For the amount of money and time we’ve spent here for birthdays and milestones, being asked for a ticket to enter a mediocre establishment at best is absolutely ridiculous. To management, we threw one hell of a 50th party in chestnut hill. With a high high spend. To ask for 40 Bucks. Chefs kiss. See Ya
What an unpleasant experience. Was there last night for a birthday get together and had reservations for a table. When we got there to set up the table and make it look special for our friend the host didn’t even have a reserved table for us and they gave us this private room where it was ok but felt very excluded from the rest of the resturant and music. As we got settled in a busser came in to fill water and then kept coming in and out but not saying anything or even smiling I hope she was okay truly she seemed so depressed. We wait and waited and I went up to the host stand to see if we had a server coming. The hosts apologized and the server was assigned. Our server came in hot and did not even introduce themselves first of all and just asked what we wanted to drink in military fashion. We also ordered some apps in the meantime because we were hungry. Now as a server myself, I know how to say I apologize if you ladies were waiting for me my name is so and so and I will be taking care of you….. I also would know how to hold food before drinks and maybe even ask if this is a special event because our table was set up with flowers ??? Obviously our food came way before our drinks and we didn’t say anything because we are trying to enjoy ourselves. We asked if there could be some music played in the room we were in because it was dead air as they just placed us there last minute. We honestly didn’t get dinner because we felt so uninvited and dismissed. I understand you put gratuity on parties but that doesn’t mean costumer service should be lacking. It should be the opposite actually! We tried to make the best of our time but this is for management. If you are going to be in seaport and charge 20 dollar drinks and 80 dollar entrees then I would advise you to train your staff on basic costumer service etiquette. We tried to stay for the music and change the mood but… Lamani feels forced….. I won’t be going back. The apps were decent however there are plenty of other Greek restaurants you can get great food at and WAY better service. I usually don’t write reviews but this left a bad taste.
Extremely disappointing and overpriced experience. We came for Valentine’s Day and were forced into a special prix fixe menu instead of the regular one, with shockingly high prices for very mediocre food. The Greek salad was a tiny portion with barely any feta, the oysters did not taste fresh, and my filet mignon arrived raw instead of medium. Even worse, the plate presentation looked smeared and unappetizing, and the waitress tried to claim it was intentional instead of addressing the issue professionally. They did replace it, but by then the experience was already ruined. A 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill, which felt completely unjustified given the poor food and service. We paid around $400 for two people and one glass of wine, which is absurd for the quality received. This place charges luxury prices but delivers a very mediocre experience. Would not recommend.
