Avis sur Casa Fuego Boulevard De Garavan
Mystic location with a great view and ambiance. The meat and wine were excellent, and the veal schnitzel was amazing. My favorite dish was Parmigiana, you have to try that one. The starters were good, but not as impressive as the main course. For dessert, we had flan, and it was just wow.
It was amazing! The food was excellent, stuff was nice and the view was beautiful. It was a bit hot but it was mid of August. I really recommend the gnocchi with seafood and the empanadas, they ware that good that we even ordered it again. Regarding the dessert, we loved the mojito dessert and the dolce de leche one. The mojito dessert was brilliant, it was very unique! I have never eaten something like this before! We are a family of four and we ordered a lot of dishes, we were shocked! The price was really ok, I mean we payed the same price at another restaurant we went and we didn't got that much food. I would love to go again to try new things.
We had one of the best meals of our entire trip at Casa Fuego, much in part due to the incredible service and phenomenal food. We got great recommendations from our waiter, Matteo. The wine was great and the food was truly excellent, especially the aguachile. We sat on the terrace overlooking Menton and the sea. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and hope we can make it back again!
We had a wonderful lunch at Casa Fuego and were not disappointed. I ordered the tortellini, which may honestly be the best pasta I’ve ever had. My husband chose the rib special, and it was outstandin…
We had a great experience eating here contrary to some other reviews. The staff were charming and friendly, and we were given a splendid table overlooking Menton The portions are generous so we shar…
I wanted to love it but the service was not great. We had to find our waiter most of the time. She forgot my mother in law’s wine. Our steak was cooked medium rare but it was chewy and did not seem quality. Unfortunately, it’s not what I expected. We love Argentinian food, love Mirazur and live in the neighborhood. I guess I thought this would have been a better experience.
We enjoyed the food very much, and the staff were nice, but all the employees were running around while the guests were waiting for their food
The worst crème brûlée I’ve ever had in my entire life, including from a grocery store. The rest of the dishes were average and not worth the price. Service was friendly and saved the experience from being 1 or 2 stars.
We came here hoping for a nice quality steak but were disappointed. The service was poor and the cote de boeuf came out cold. The meat was low quality and had lots of gristle and sinew. The waitress was polite but i don’t think she believed us when we said the food was poor. Unfortunately wouldn’t recommend or return.
Arrived here with high expectations and ended up quite disappointed. The head waitress (tall older woman) seems to have attitude problems. Quite rude in her mannerisms and we just didn’t want to interact with her anymore after the initial exchange. Food is decent. Started off with Carpaccio and also had Gnocchi and Tortellini. Loved the Carpaccio. I don’t think I’d recommend this anyone or come back.
Warm service and nice setting. The food was however a bit disappointing to say the least. I ordered sole meuniere which was overcooked and dry served with only bakes potatoes. Empanadas was ok nothing to shout about. Meat was ok but side dishes were too simple. Mediocre desserts. Price too expensive for what it is. Too many plates and no signature style.
Very mediocre place. First it was not that clean which is A when it comes to restaurants. Has some transparent plastic covers as enclosure of the terrace which you can't almost see through due to the dirt on them. Waiter was doing his best being all alone but still. Took 20mn just for the water to arrive. So definitely understaffed. We had 2 dishes both being cooked badly. The Cordon blue was overcooked and dry as the Sahara desert and the fresh pasta was undercooked being as hard as carrots. Taste is subjective but being able to cook something properly isn't. Supposedly there is a professional chef in the kitchen right? Quite dissapointing experience and we will not be going back again. Inexcusable for Mauro Collagreco, the 3 Michelin Star chef, that owns this restaurant, who obviously is overwhelmed with all his projects or plain bad choices of people running this one.
We made the reservation beginning of May and were initially offered one of the worst tables in the restaurant as all the 'nice view' tables were taken. And then the waiting game started. We waited 15 mins for our orders to be taken. Then 15 minutes for water to arrive. Then 10 more minutes for the starters to arrive. One starter was forgotten and bread arrived 5 minutes after the starters. Then we waited 15 minutes for a second bottle of water. And we waited 15 more minutes for the main courses. Then we waited 10 minutes for the third bottle of water. Then we waited 15 minutes for the dessert card. While eating desserts, also the best food items from the kitchen this day, we enjoyed the nice view of tables waiting for getting cleared. Now we know why waiters are called waiters...
Poor quality meat. the taste and consistency meat were bad. In addition when we informed the waiters about the disappoint they didn't accepted the feedback and tried to justified themself without understand the customer unsatifaction. They should learn more about this field. Good luck.
We previously had a fantastic experience at Mirazur, but Casa do Fuego was a total disappointment. The meat was overcooked despite our request for it to be rare, and the service was poor, with multiple mistakes in our order. We were supposed to receive French fries with our meal but only got a salad. Additionally, there's a bar adjacent to the restaurant where smoking is allowed without restriction. Throughout our meal, it felt like we were in a smoking area because a patron in the bar continuously smoked a cigarillo, which was especially concerning since we had children with us. The servers didn't seem to see this as a problem, and despite our repeated requests to close the partition, they only did so after several attempts. On a positive note, the gnocchi were good. However, parking is also challenging.
