Finally walked up here to check out a potential neighborhood go-to coffee shop near me. We came fairly early on a Saturday and there’s nice coffeehouse music at just the right volume. There’s a garage door that will be great for open air environment during nice weather. We enjoyed a caramel non-fat latte, an oat milk cortado and an off-menu item the owner whipped up for us when we asked for a “spicy” coffee drink… it was called a Nepali masala chai w/Honey! It was delicious. They have two roasts, a light and a dark… we went light for more caffeine. If you appreciate a smooth roast definitely give this place a try. For food we kept it simple this time with a Bacon, lettuce, avocado, Tomato (BLAT) on Sourdough w/ chips and a side of fruit. Plus, a homemade iced Lemon poppyseed bread to go. The fruit was so fresh and a great portion. This is a very walkable area with quaint shops. There’s a pet store Nextdoor so dog parking out front is encouraged. They’ll even bring your drinks out to you so you can stay with your pup outside. Parking can be sparse during busy times but know they have more parking in the back with a back entrance. There’s even a Mountain View.
I love that this place’s food and atmosphere are in par with the excellent ownership and customer service! This was our first time here, and it did not disappoint. The cortado (light roast) was smooth and enjoyable. I mentioned a coffee drink I’ve only found in CO, so the owner, Otto, decided to make me a drink that he specializes in (not on the menu)…Nepali Masala chai with Honey —> YUM! I think this is my new go-to. We also had a great tasting BLTA (bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado), fresh fruit, and a pastry. While dogs aren’t allowed inside, this shop is very dog friendly. They have an overhead door —- all windows/glass, so your dog can hang out outside, and be in full view. I imagine this door rolls up when the weather is nicer.
About 1.5 years ago, I was driving out in Sandy late one night and saw a bright yellow sign that read Caffeine Station...needless to say, I pulled into the parking lot out front and consulted Google. I told myself that this was a place I needed to visit - trouble was, I didn't really live close to the Sandy location at all. Oh well...I'd manage to find a way. Fast forward to a week or so ago, and I saw a new location had opened up! I planned on meeting a buddy of mine at this 2100 East location, but since it closed at 3, he said he couldn't make it. I went anyway, and I'm glad I did...I arrived at 2:50, and apologized to the barista for arriving at the 11th hour. She assured me that it was no problem. I ordered a Pistachio Steamer, and it was probably the best tasting steamer I've ever had. I have a formula when I try a new place, and Caffeine Station passed. If they take care and pride in even the simplest of drinks, you know you've found a treasure. My barista (Jenna) was so kind and we had an engaging conversation about needing to add JUST the right amount or Rose or Lavender into a White Mocha to make it magical and not taste like grandma's potpourri. I'm glad I was able to try this place that I've had on my radar for awhile now. A+ and a ☕️☕️☕️☕️ Four Cup Rating (out of 4 😉)! Marking this down on my favorite #PDR spots. This opened right next to my place of work and even on days I bring my own coffee, I find myself dumping it out and getting one from here. The owners and employees are so nice and welcoming and truly love what they do. The coffee is extraordinary and there hasn’t been a thing I haven’t loved. My go to is an almond milk latte but lately I’ve been enjoying the Blended Taro Root with almond milk for a little treat. I also love the affogato and homemade sweet treats and breakfast sandwiches. Oh, and the crepes, homemade and so amazing and delicious! It so nice to have a great coffee shop on the block with employees who love their jobs and who are so kind and welcoming. This was just what the neighborhood needed!
The people were very friendly! I got the pumpkin pie latte and a morning bagel. Everything came out super fast and it was delicious! All of that combined, this is definitely my new coffee spot.

People here a so nice and the coffee is really good too. Definitely a great place to stop and try. I usually come in here after visiting the dog bath shop Paw Paw to get my coffee. 10/10 recommend.
Cutest Coffee Shop right next-door to my hairdresser. Now that I know it exists I find reasons to come by. The staff are delightful coffee and food are excellent. Shop Local!!

I stopped by a coffee shop today and was pleasantly surprised! Cappuccino The cappuccino was excellent , smooth, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. What I loved most was the temperature: not too hot, not too mild. Nutella Strawberry Crepe The Nutella crepe with strawberries was delicious as well. The crepe was thin and fragrant, with just the right amount of Nutella and fresh strawberries balanced everything perfectly. It paired so well with the coffee too! Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place. I’ll definitely be back.
Absolutely amazing spot. We’re so stoked to have a new coffee shop in our neighborhood of this caliber that ALSO has food! Their focus on crepes is awesome. We can’t wait to come back!
What an extremely friendly atmosphere. We feel very welcome since stepping through the door. Great variety of food and coffee. The crepe here is incredibly fresh and delicious. We highly recommend avocado bbq chicken and turkey crepe! Coffee is on point! Looking forward to spending quality morning and try other menu with Thailand bobsled team again soon. Great new coffee shop with a great savory & sweet food menu! We split the smoked salmon bagel & I wish I didn't share. Pumpkin pie latte hit the spot for my teenager & Americano for me! So glad they are in the neighborhood!
Everybody was super nice and the food and coffee was amazing. I ordered the Thai coffee and they were kind enough to let me try it before I ordered it so I knew how sweet it was. They were correct - I ended up getting it half sweet. The smoothies are amazing the bagels and granola bowl were perfect and they have lots of variety on the menu. I will definitely be back!
Delicious vanilla latte! I took mine to go and happen to take off the lid and there was a beautifully designed heart that I never would have seen…so sweet they do that. Coming back for lunch to try their delicious looking crepes.

Great tasting coffee beans! I love the pistachio flavor with my iced latte. The owner, Otto, is friendly and welcoming! Service is quick even when he’s hussling to make food alone. Salmon crepe and chicken pesto sandwich were delicious! I’m so glad they don’t press their crepes. Shoutout to Otto for incredible food service.
This new coffee shop in the neighborhood is great! The staff is especially friendly and attentive. They offer a wide selection of food items and customizable drinks. We had bagel breakfast sandwiches, one of the sweet crepes, and coffee drinks, and they were all well-prepared and very delicious! (ask for your cappuccino to be prepared "Australian style"!) I definitely recommend Caffeine Station for the fast, friendly service and tasty offerings. And, it always feels good to support a local business.
The NICEST staff and best bagel I've had in the city. Drove by the cafe by chance and decided to check it out. A flexible, sensible menu, just the right amount of seating for family meals or coffee dates, and atleast two outlets for the virtual workers who plan to stick around for a bit. I could overhear several folks remark what a lovely addition the cafe is to the neighborhood, and I agree completely. Will definitely be coming back!
Oh my gosh!! Im absolutely in love, I normally don’t do reviews but the people need to know! The little shop on 21st is stunning and cozy, the caffeine and food was delicious! I got the Turkey Avocado Crepe and the iced matcha latte! The savory entree and the creamy drink was a perfect combo. Not to mention the amazing service, they were so warming and inviting! Otto (I believe) is such an amazing host! Super kind and charismatic! I can’t wait to revisit this place!!

The owner has over 20 years of experience making coffee in Australia. If you want to know what real Australian-style coffee tastes like, you should definitely come and try it here! The food is also amazing — the chicken breast is a solid 10/10. I’m a chef myself and have cooked plenty of chicken breasts, but this one is truly special. The pesto is also fantastic — I’ve had pesto at many places, but the one here really stands out!
The Aussie-style coffee here is delicious and perfectly balanced. The food is amazing — the pesto is fragrant, the chicken is tender, and the crepe is soft with a lovely milky aroma. Everything tastes wonderful!
Visiting our son at the U and found Caffeine Station. The food and coffee were excellent. My husband said it was the best cold brew he’s had in SLC so far (out of 5 places) . My chai was amazing. My daughter scraped the plate of her crepe. She loved it! The people working there were so kind and pleasant. We’d definitely go back!
I came to the “caffeine station” to get a fuel up and left on empty. We came in for a cup of black coffee and decided to grab a couple of breakfast sandwiches. The sandwiches were nice and simple! We enjoyed them. Sorry guys, but the drip coffee was bad. Not enough grounds, lacked flavor, was more like hot water, and tasted a bit like hot plastic. I’ve had better tasting free coffee from carafes at public events. So for around 4 bucks for a 20oz, it should be decent and made correctly. I felt like I had not had any caffeine at all after finishing it, on my way get coffee again somewhere else. My wife couldn’t finish hers. Hopefully it improves because I felt coffee (or caffeine), was the focus here.. Atmosphere, neat with the garage door, but it was super loud. Some simple sound deadening panels would be a smart move to reduce the reflections.
